This was our second stay at this hotel, it has been renovated since last time and it was absolutely amazing, we had a great stay, got a complimentary upgrade and received great service from the staff. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in Antwerp.

Great location, clean & good restaurant.

Hospitality was overall were good. Although I must say I didn't really feel that welcome or seen at all. When I checked in, the male staff member was occupied with what I assume was friends. And kept chatting a little even though he attended me. Then after flickering keyboard and tapping the mouse several times he took another guest in between. I let all of this happen because I was not in a hurry, environment is very nice and clean. Then he excused himself to me, saying \"those people are a little bit special\". Okay, the second after a guest leaves its okay to trash talk? Female hospitality worker was completely opposite, service minded and have manners that few others do. Elevators are a prank, we didn't get stuck or anything like it. But during our short stay we had several comments with other guests as well..
Housekeeping raises the grade by itself. 10/10

Pleasant stay. Clean rooms with all needed facilities. Helpful staff at the reception.
However, some misunderstandings with credit card charges. Because they charge you an even bigger sum than your stay is and the charge is still kept active even after checking-out and paying for your stay directly at the reception. Was assured that the charge from my credit card will be cancelled after check-out but it was not - needed to contact them once again. Would have been nice if they just explained the situation in details during check-in, instead of just telling that they need your credit card for a reservation completion, because such a big charge was an unpleasant surprise.

We knew when booking the hotel that we would pay to park at the Hotel but when we arrived we were told that there were no more parking spaces available. This was not noted on the hotel website or booking information. We parked on the street and our car was OK but it still was a shock. We brought almost all of our things into the room!!!

Nice hotel in general.....
However, on the 5 nights I stayed there’s I returned to the hotel after 5pm to find my room had not been done. On one day they didn’t actually come in to makeup my room (without knocking) until 620pm.

Good location

Good location next to tram and a 35 min walk to the centre at a brisk pace. Parking next to the hotel is €3 for 24hrs which is v cheap compared to the hotel charges. No milk in room coffee. In terms of ‘spa’facilities, there is gym equipment but just a sauna - nothing else. Staff very helpful at reception and bar is nice although some staff didn’t know how to make the drinks on the menu.

The hotel is conveniently located 10 mins from Antwerp central. A beautiful lobby and friendly front desk staff are welcoming. Large, comfortable room for a family of four with plenty of amenities. Best hotel during our trip!

Relatively small breakfast area for size of hotel. Very busy with large groups so we even early, no free tables. Dinner in bar was ok, but limited choice. Location was good for quick access to ring road and south.

The Hotel is in a good location for the business traveller ie close to the Antwerp Ring.
The room was spacious and clean but a little bit tired.
However the room was very cold, the heating system didn't work properly and being -1C outside it was no pleasant being in the room

Everything was good related to the room and the service-only exception they forgot my wake up call (but my phone woke me up). Rooms are big, clean, modern. Staff in the hotel helpful.
Negatives: location is far from centre, the tram stop is a few minutes walk. The breakfast is expensive for 17 euros; also they start clearing the buffet about 10-15 minutes before closing , eg. 10.15 am in the weekends for 10.30 closing unlike other good hotels that start clearing after the closing time; some of the restaurant staff is rude and arrogant unlike the hotel lobby staff who are nice.

Hotel is a bit tired. Executive room booked but arrived to check-in at 13.00 and nothing available. Had to wait till 14.00 - not good enough in a hotel catering for business people. Should have some flexibility. Stayed here due to close proximity to exhibition halls - otherwise would stay somewhere else.

Room very claustrophobic

The reception had a lovely frangrance as you walked in, the staff were ok but the room was such a let down with only a small window and a feeling of not any air in the room making it feel claustrophobic so I didn't sleep very well at all. Was so glad we only stayed 1 night as a stop over very pleased to leave. we didn't eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food.

Good hotel in a good location

I had a two night stay in this hotel in August 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
The staff at reception were friendly ,professional and efficient and my room was comfortable and clean.
I breakfast buffet was good value and I am happy to recommend this hotel to other people.
The hotel is not in the absolute centre of Antwerpen but nicely situated near the major freeways and a good tram connection nearby to take you into the centre.

Just what we needed

Stayed in this hotel for one night to watch Kraftwerk in concert. Conveniently located from the motorway and close to the tramline. Located in a business area so quiet at night. Room was spacious and well-appointed, and the bathroom was clean. Staff in reception were friendly and courteous. Overall was happy with our stay - would do so again when we are back in Antwerp.

Garage to lobby elevator out of service

Garage procedures regarding using a coin from the lobby to exit the garage were not explained. The elevator was out of service, which meant we unnecessarily dragged out luggage up two flights of steps due to lack of communication from the desk attendant at check in. We also had to reclimb the steps upon attempting to exist the garage because the special garage coin system was not explained at checkin. VERY frustrating, especially when it was a very nice property with a terrific breakfast.

Nice Weekend in Antwerp

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada for two nights during a visit to Antwerp... for us, it was a good location splitting the distance between the downtown sights and relatives in the area. The room was large, clean, and comfortable however the inability to turn off the entrance foyer lights without pulling the room card out of the master switch was annoying... we were unable to locate a separate switch for them. The underground parking garage was clean, convenient, and reasonably priced and, although we did not partake in their breakfast due to our time constraints, it did look tasty with a wide variety of foods. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

EXPENSIVE BREAKFAST CHEAPO CERALS

I had 10 rooms booked.
The main thing that spoilt it for us was the expensive breakfast and the very poor quality cereals for breakfast. Keloggs cornflakes sold throughout the world , yet here cheap cerals very expensive breakfast. As we book between 10 15 rokms and are visiting the city quiet often will have to revaluate when booking Antwerp again. As the expensive breakfast makes it an expendive room and there are more hotels with breakfadt included cheaper in this city. Hotel was nice though.

Attended a conference.stayed in a suite(!!).one night...location good, next to highway, easy to reach..
Lobby and all other facilities on lobby level renovated and nice.however room was dirty, old and very unpractical..unless a major renovation, would never go back....

Great hotel with poor in-room WiFi

This is a great hotel - let down by terrible in-room wifi. Maybe I have been a bit harsh with my review but as a business traveler, WiFi speed and reliability means much more to me that anything else. Due to the nature of my business I often have to rely on data hungry services such as YouTube, Skype etc. I found the service in my room bordering on unusable. On a couple of occasions actually had to go down to the lobby to get my work done. (incidentally the public area WiFi was fine just the room that sucked).

Don't get me wrong if internet is not important to you - this is a very nice hotel, comfortable, great room and friendly staff.

Pleasant stay and good location

Even if the hotel is not located in the center of Antwerp, it is pretty easy access with a car and with the tram stop steps away. Very polite and warm welcome. The view was a building really close but you don't visit for breathtaking view anyway. Overall a good experience, would go back.

Hotel is a little way from the main beer area so walking was a bit of a task so factor in cab fares each way which were 12-14 euros
Otherwise hotel was very nice

I'm very unhappy with this hotel's code of conduct as I paid for the room in cash at the check in and also left a deposit in total of 100 euros for a 68 euro room (so 30 euros left as deposit) yet the hotel still charged my card with a pre authorisation of 85 euros after the front desk (martin to be precise) confirmed to me 4 times that there would be no charge at all of any kind to my card. also i was confirmed for a single king bed and ended up getting two single beds in the one room. so frustrating. minibar is empty I'm guessing they think you will come with cans of drinks and food to fill it up yourself. this is my third time now at this hotel because of the convenience for business meetings

We booked 5 rooms we all complained the air conditioning didn't work it was 23 degrees in the rooms.
It was boiling hot and u cannot open the windows they are fixed.
we stayed for 3 nights. And nothing was done.
The phones also were not working.

This is a pleasant hotel, convenient to access the highway and also right on a tram and bus line. As our visit took place in the summer while Antwerp was having an unusual heat wave, the only discomfort was that the \"air conditioning\" isn't what we Americans expect: it is only a ventilation system, and the room windows don't open.

Good hotel, well located but mind the Lifts

Service was good, but there was no space in the car park but advised to park car a short walk away where there was free parking. Got stuck in to lift, the lift intercom did work but the engineer had to come from another part of the city and the intercom was not connected to the hotel but to the engineering company, but they were able to patch me to the hotel reception who were able to inform my party that I was stuck in the lift. A note of apology and a bowl of fruit was left in the room. Generally the service was very good and I will stay there again when I visit Antwerp.

One day business trip so booked hotel next to office. This is Ramada circa 1970 and showing its age. Bathroom needs a refit. Free WiFi and bottle of mineral water plus points. Service in bar/restaurant slow. Charging for parking is cheeky.

Pros: Staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful.
Cons: Room was adequate but very small. Location is not great as far from restaurants and shopping area. Cab to main area cost approx. $15 to, and $15 from (approx. $30, or 25 euro, per day).

overall it was a nice stay, i came by car but did not use their parking because of the many reviews i read in many sites, instead i used the Park and Ride (Desguinlei) down the street (750m walk).
the neighborhood is nice and safe, you can catch a train or a bus downtown or just walk (40 min). the room is comfortable but has some damages (hole in the wall some fractures) we stayed at the 7th floor which gave us a nice view of the city.
the staff in the reception were a little robotic and cold which is a little unusual for Belgium.

Fantastic Service

I stayed here for business for 2 weeks and i would happily stay again. The rooms are very clean and modern, the staff are extremely helpful and the food in the bar is good. Great location too. I would very highly recommend 'Brusketta' an Italian Restaurant about a 5 minute walk away.
