Unfortunately, my stay at Pullman Santiago was a letdown. Started with a faulty key that took 3 attempts to work, followed by multiple requests for shampoo that went unanswered. The shower had a weird smell, and the iron situation was a joke - only usable in the bathroom with no space to actually iron clothes. Add to that the noisy AC and subpar food options, including room service, and it's clear the hotel needs a serious refresh. Not a place I'd recommend or return to.

The swimming pool was a disappointment to me. It is located at ground level next to the entrance. It opens into the bar area. Maybe ideal for pool parties and such like but not for a business traveller like me. Having said that I saw no-one using it when I was there. Gym was ok on level 2 - not same level as pool and not connected. But the hotel itself is modern, clean and very good

Front desk people were very friendly and very accommodating. The many people who worked the breakfast room worked so hard yet were very friendly. The room cleaners were very nice and friendly. Hotel room was kept spotless as was the lobby and dinning rooms. The breakfast crew was excellent, Maria Jose, Juliana, Javiera, Anna and Willie. Esmeralda our room cleaner was really nice and friendly. We will be back very soon in the future.

Hotel is located in a very good/upscale neighborhood in Santiago with lots of very good restaurants in walking distance. Beautiful view of the Andes mountains on the golf court side. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were good, breakfast has lots of variety. Would recommend for business and family trip.

In general a very nice place to stay. The only two things that could be better is the air conditioner in the room we stayed in was very weak and we spent much of the night not being able to sleep because of the heat, and the pool was not well maintained and had cloudy water with leaves and bugs in it.

I expected much more of a 5 star hotel. In my estimation it is closer to 3 stars however the staff were fantastic, facilities were very clean, in a safe area, great restaurant in the hotel and fantastic cafe next door. We had a very comfortable stay.

Worst customer service i have ever experienced, it’ s almost hard to believe that every staff member is absolutely rude.
I also find very strange that the hotel confirmed they have no benefits for vip expedia travelers and that the information provided by expedia is not real.
The hotel itself is a nice property but during our six nights stay , we did not get a nice or polite answer by any staff member to simple questions , specialy at the main desk. Chile is a wonderful country, Santiago is fascinating… this hotel is simply not a good option for visitors.

The Pullman Santiago is not up to the standard of a 5-star hotel and is more accurately a 4-star at best. The facilities are basic, and the service is subpar. We stayed one of our booked four nights in the presidential suite, which, despite being spacious, was disappointing. Towels were limited, there was no iron, and the shower gel dispenser fell off the wall in the small, basic shower.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel and would caution others to lower their expectations if booking here.

This was a long stay; 11 nights. No recognition of status with Expedia, despite claims that Expedia members will receive special welcoming treatment. Tiny bed for two people. Reception incompetent. They never did figure out the reservation was for two people. This is a tour-bus hotel that caters to large groups; it is unsuitable for and not willing to give any extra consideration to Expedia members despite claims on Expedia site of extra consideration. It’s winter in Santiago but only a half closet; long overcoat and long raincoat did not fit. No closet to store large luggage. Had to keep suitcases in plain sight in the room on the floor. Reception staff not rude but not nice either. Terrific restaurant/bar staff was the only really outstanding thing. Plenty of view rooms of the Andes; reception gave me a view of a couple of apartment buildings, one of which had chipped paint and looked pretty dilapidated. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.

It is a shame that in 2023 Pullman didn't have internet in the rooms. I had to work and it was impossible, the solution offered by the hotel was working in the lobby. My room was not super clean, the bedsheets were dirty. I was so disappointed that I decided to move to NH Hotel. I couldn't stay for more than 3 days in the Pullman hotel.

Our stay was great. Nice big and clean rooms, comfy beds. The breakfast was the best we had in South America in many years.
The dinner in the bar was not up to the same standard but very convenient.
Location is great and has free parking. Parking, however, was confusing, it is free for the hotel guests but the parking guard charged my husband 30 USD for one night because he didn't know it was included. They should know this. The reception was not able to refund the money since he did not get a receipt.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return to this hotel.

Excellent hotel in all respects but especially the staff who could not have been more supportive & helpful when my recent cruise from San Antonio was cancelled on the day I should have embarked.Juan Carlos & Han on the desk welcomed me back from the port & helped me with finding a flight back to San Diego which is where the cruise was going so I had no return flight.
Both of the rooms that I stayed in were large & comfortable, the restaurant/bar was bright & cheerful ( as were the servers & bar tenders ), breakfast was good with hot & cold food & included in nightly rate & the food in the restaurant was outstanding.
The location was a little out of the downtown area being in the new town but was very pleasant.

A fine hotel. I was in room 801 with a magnificent view of the golf course and mountains beyond. TV has English channels. Good shower.

no consideration for security & well-being

It was all very very good until the riots happened - Santiago went under curfew at 10pm - it was announced at 7pm

I went to the restaurant to get some food and was refused service - no offer of even a sandwich just a very rude no we are full. When I explained I had not eaten all day the response was even worse

I escalated to the front desk who were very busy with the curfew impacts

My flight was at 7am next morning and when I asked the hotel they said if I don’t leave now I will not be allowed to travel to the airport tomorrow morning

Without any response from me they issued me the bill and asked me to pay and check out - even though they could not are arrange TRansport and no taxis operational

So as a foreign national Pullman hotels were forcing me to leave a day early from my reservation

Luckily Interpol where at the hotel and kindly offered to escort me to the airport

I will never ever stay in a Pullman again as they were more concerned on a check out and bill - not my safety and well being

Hotel is nice and clean. Good breakfast and plenty of parking spaces. However, do not have that much amenities. The pool is outside and not tempered. If you go in an executive trip this might be an excellent option. If you go on vacation, perhaps the lack of amenities (no spa, no tempered pool) could be an issue.
