Everything was excellent, from the check in, room cleanliness to the buffet breakfast, pool and spa.

If they wanted to improve anything, would be to help with luggage. I got my own trolly and had 2 large and 2 small, piled them on my own onto the trolly and in check out also no one offered to help as they have done at other hotels.

Air conditioning has been a problem in the rooms at both propertys. This one in santiago and the one in Vina del mar. Not sure why but its uncomfortable to sleep with the room temperature being 24-25c. What i dont understand is the ac works in all the common areas. Maintenance tried to fix but no sucess.

The hotel is under renovation which means drilling, buzzing and all sorts from 9am-6pm. The wifi is super poor also in the rooms.
The biggest problem is the front desk staff. They must realize that renovations on site are not pleasant for any guest but they have zero empathy. Their response is - just deal with it. That's fine but you are in a customer service role. Show some empathy, kindness and consideration. Guests are still paying to stay at the hotel.
A drunk group woke us up at 2am. The reception did not answer the phone. They partied and made noise for a good amount of time.
Would not recommend this hotel until they finish renovations.

This hotel was a bit out of the way. It’s about a 20 walk to the nearest mall (where I took the hop on/hop off bus. But I walked around the the nearby restaurants by myself (female) and never once felt unsafe. The staff were really great and the room was really clean and comfortable. Totally recommend if you don’t mind being away from the action.

The hotel is 20 years old and you can see that in the room and amenities. The bathroom is dated and stained. Noise from 9 am through 6 pm. The 6th flour is under renovation so it was not a pleasant stay.

Great location. Within close walking proximity to malls. Long walk to Centro, but has nice views along the way.

The staff this morning was so extra helpful. I dont have the Uber App. But one of the staff found a way to Uber me to the airport in time. Top notch customer sevice!

The rooms were for sure not luxurious when this hotel opened a few years ago… but they were probably meeting the quality requirements of Novotel, a 4 stars cost effective brand (with quite basic standards). Nevertheless, I am afraid not any refurbishment has been carried out since then and until the rooms are not renewed, guests will still be disappointed by their experience, below the legitimate expectations they could have

Very old hotel. Hallway carpets are very old and needs changing. The room was big but very old. The bathroom was cramped, difficult to take shower due to glass partition. We had a flight issue and had to stay here for one night. Lobby and breakfast area is newish. Location near the bus to metro.

Friendly staff. Very nice property and good selection of breakfast items.
Especially liked the lobby area and the abundance of indoor and outdoor seating areas for meetings, eating or drinking. Highly recommend this hotel. Very good WiFi.

Good deal

As Chilean that lives abroad I stayed in this hotel when needed. It's a good deal considering accommodations, location and price. You have supermarkets and restaurants at working distance. Have in mind that it is located in a street that at rush hour gets really bad on traffic.

Good and Bad stay at Novotel Santiago.

The hotel was nice for the money. The service was good 'til they botched up our departure transportation from hotel to airport. Arrangements were made day before departure and a modification on the pick up time 4/6/17 was confirmed..Morning of pickup 4/6/17 2 passsenger vans were not available at time confirmed. A van and driver happened to be at the hotel and he mananged to take all 8 passengers and baggages (tight fit). Additionall issues arised but he did get us to airport on time. Told him to take up issue with hotel as they caused the problem.

We stayed at the Novotel Vitacura Santiago for 4 nights with my wife and family. The hotel in general is new, clean and organized. I want to thank the night manager Juan for all his fine attentions with me and my family. I will definitively come back to this hotel.

The hotel is well located in a safe neighbourhood and good bus connections. Restaurant facilities and outside patios are well shaded and provide a pleasant retreat during happy hours. The included breakfast was excellent value, and the room was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff possessed very good English language to overcome my limited Spanish.

Very nice place

Our stay for 3 nights was very good. The room is spacious, the breakfast is excellent, and the reception staff are very helpful. There are a lot of channels on the TV, including CNN International and HBO. The location is a bit out of the way -- there really is no Metro stop within walking distance -- but the taxi ride to the Metro is inexpensive. Probably our only complaint is that the toilet and the sink are not located in the same area of the room, which struck me as odd.

The hotel is well located is bright and airy. The restaurant is good and there is a nice swimming pool with water jets, jacuzzi etc. The pool is more of a relaxation pool as it isn't really large enough for swimming lengths if others are using it. The rooms are spacious, but could do with refurbishing as mine was a bit scruffy since my last stay (9 years ago). The shower attachment over the bath was a bit cheap / poor quality. My kingsize bed was super comfy with nice bed linen.

Very good option

Very good option while visiting Santiago for business.
The only downside found was that bed mattress is not attached to the wall board so every time you seat on the bed to watch TV the whole bed slides leaving a hole. Everything else worked pretty well.

I enjoyed my stay at novotel. The breakfast was satisfactory and the staff nice. There was a weird sound from the ventilation in the room during some of the nights which was slightly annoying but not enough to ask to change room. I would however not advice anyone to use the taxi service via the hotel. It is much more expensive (50%) than calling to radio taxi or taking a taxi on the street.

This hotel is located on a busy avenue in a posh part of Santiago. While there isn't much near to walk around and see, the hotel bar is fully stocked and offers great food items. The room was modern and clean, with a fully stocked mini-bar. Even tho I didn't personally like the location, I would probably stay here again if my client is nearby.

Hotel is okay, not the best rooms, the toilet and shower were in two different rooms, the area is nice but nothing close, the prices were extreme, they charged me $20 usd for coffee and a couple of rolls. If you book in Chile make sure that you are not charge you the 19% VAT, the hotel does not charge tourists that pay with foreign credit card and are staying less than 90 days the tax. O collctes it but according o the people in Chile they do not get it. I would not stay here again

Good Quality for the Price

This is a typical Novotel. Modern, efficient and clean with a no-nonsense approach to lodging. It is, as they all are, not luxurious but comfortable and with a helpful and courteous staff. The hotel is ideal for a business traveler or vacationer who is not planning on spending a lot of time in a hotel. The provided breakfast was very ample and with a good variety although the hot dishes were not particularly hot. The internet connection was good and comes with the room. It would be hard to find a better deal for the money.

Novotel Vitacura in Santiago - great place to stay

First time going to Chile, I was unsure where to stay. Everyone recommended \"Las Condes\" area, and our office in Chile recommended their usual hotel in that area. Looking in hotels.com I found Novotel Vitacura. Great place for business travelers. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and great location. Pricing was the best in the area. The service in the hotel is excellent.

Hidden Treasure in Santiago

This hotel has everything that a vistor to Santiago need-greate location, comfortable & modern rooms, excellent servioce and good prices. I would recommend a stay at this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Santiago. Terrific restaurants are within walking distance, free parking, friendly staff and a pleasant urban setting all make this a terrific spot to stay in Santiago.

it is such a strange floor plan in the room with separate shower & toilet; TV set mounted on the wall facing 90 degree forward instead of tilting angle and that makes viewer hard to watch it; variety of breakfast is limited also; super slow internet speed probably not enough bandwidth
