I recently had the pleasure of staying for just one night at Hotel Place Firenze, and even in such a short visit, the experience left a lasting impression. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, combining modern elegance with the timeless charm of Florence. Its location makes it ideal for exploring the city, yet it also feels like a serene retreat once you step inside.

What truly set my stay apart, however, was the warm and genuine hospitality. I would like to especially recognize Michel Cannarozzo, the Front Office Manager, whose professionalism and kindness elevated the entire experience. From the moment of arrival, Michel made me feel not only welcomed but truly cared for. His attentiveness, thoughtful recommendations, and effortless ability to anticipate a guest’s needs reflect the very best of Italian hospitality.

Though my stay was brief, it was memorable in every way. I would gladly return to Hotel Place Firenze, both for its beauty and comfort, and above all for the exceptional team led by Michel, who makes guests feel like family.

The Place is now my favorite hotel in Europe! The staff could not have been more kind, attentive and helpful. When our flight was cancelled, they arranged for a hotel in another city, train tickets and transportation. The dining room is exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the rooms charming. But it is the outstanding staff that makes this hotel so exceptional!

Paid nearly $2000 for a one night stay and the property did not reflect the price tag. On the morning of our departure, while breakfast started at 7:30am and we came down after 8am, it appeared that no one was even ready to start their work day until well after. After being seated, waited at least 10-15mins before anyone came to offer a menu. Coffee was terrible, breakfast marginal at best. Not a 5 star level experience by any means.

Not only is The Place Firenze a beautiful home away from home, but the level of care they provide is without rival. Lorenzo in particular went out of his way to help us with issues ranging from COVID testing issues to booking fantastic restaurants. Carmen was helpful and warm as well, as were the restaurant staff who made us feel welcome and in a home away from home. Fantastic food and ambience at both the hotel and the restaurant as well. This was not our first stay at The Place Firenze and will certainly not be our last. Ann and Bill

Outstanding Boutique Hotel

We travel often and typically stay in the Bonvoy group as I’m an elite Ambassador level and we stay in luxury collection, Ritz Carlton or St Regis. We appreciate outstanding service, unique and quality design, and comfortable beds with crisp linens. We were on a cruise in Italy and booked this last minute stay in Florence becase the St Regis and W were booked, and wow we were lucky to find this amazing boutique hotel, in an outstanding location, that exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Giarda who arranged for our car to be taken to the garage and escorted us to the beautiful sitting room to settle in with complimentary Prosecco as our bags were delivered to our room. I happened to mention it was my birthday in passing and shortly after a berry tart with a simple candle was delivered. Our room, which was the last available and smallest in the hotel, was beautiful, clean and the bed was super comfortable (think Simmons beds at four seasons and a few steps up from the heavenly bed). It was the first time we had slept on linen sheets and they were wonderful. Giarda offered to have them changed with percale but we chose to try them andcwere galas we did. The bathroom was upstairs with no tub, but had a bidet and was well designed. Breakfast included was fantastic. A wonderful buffet and they offered freshly cooked omelette s or eggs as well. The restaurant recommendation 13 Gobbi was excellent and the checkout was a breeze. We will definitely stay at JK place again.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful small hotel. We were warmly welcomed personally by Lucca immediately upon our arrival a most delightful gentleman who showed us around the hotel, helped with restaurant reservations and planned our day for us in Florence. The hotel is simply beautiful, extremely classy with a delightful eating/drinking area outside and amazing staff. We hope to return.

Overall my stay was good. But I was disappointed as I expected much more. I booked a room with “courtyard views” but no where did the description mention that the windows face into a hallway and then a courtyard- with no external windows. This is my worst nightmare and I never would have booked a room without natural light. I also had issues with the air conditioning as it was super loud. When I complained the hotel simply turned it off until I called back and asked them to come up and look at it. I still really don’t understand that. I guess I expected a lot more from one of the top rated hotels in Florence.

It was a wonderful boutique hotel so friendly and welcoming with beautiful decor. Lots of nice touches by the staff with fruit and chocolates in the rooms or great guidance on food and wine in the restaurant. Even when we had to leave early for tour the staff prepared breakfast boxes for us. The location is also great.

I had a very pleasurable stay at J.K. Palace. It is in a great location with wonderful restaurants, shopping, and sites nearby; Florence in general is very walk-able. I would describe the hotel as very upscale, comfortable, and posh with wonderful, attentive service. Breakfast is wonderful - you can't beat the fresh squeezed blood orange juice and the friendly service of Lili, who made each breakfast more sublime than the last. While my room was small, it had everything I needed, including comfortable linen sheets, plenty of plugs for devices, a shower with great pressure, a bidet, etc. I enjoyed room service for dinner one night, and it was delicious and served quickly. The hotel also offered a portable WiFi device for use while out and about, which was smart and appreciated. Those who attended to my room left fruit every day, and arranged some flowers that I received at the Gucci Museum nicely in a vase. I love and notice these small touches. The 'concierge' was fabulous too. All around, I highly recommend J.K. Place Firenze and look forward to eventually visiting other properties.

If you go to Florence, stay at JK Place. This was our fourth visit to Florence, but first stay at JK Place. It will not be our last stay there. The staff are phenomenal in making guests feel welcome and pampered. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location of hotel makes walking to just about anywhere in Florence easy. The well appointed seating areas are very comfortable. I felt at home. We highly recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful small hotel in a convenient, safe and beautiful location.
The service is top notch. They will take very special care of you.
The standard room decor is lovely but the rooms are very small opening up to a small courtyard without a view. There are some larger rooms/ suites looking out to the plaza.

This was a girl’s vacation. From the moment we arrived we were treated with warmth,kindness and respect. Everyone told us they wanted the vist to be like the best home experience we ever had. It was just that. We were greeted after a long flight & car ride to a snack and prosecco.
Our room was cleaned early so we could access before checkout time. Our upgraded room was beautiful as was every other experience we had.
Loved the decor,the staff,the first class breakfast and attention to detail!!!
I would love to return soon with my husband. it was a great experience!!!!!!

The hotel location can't be beat and the piazza is beautiful. The staff is outstanding and it will be my go to place for Florence. Can't say enough good things about JK Place in Florence. This place is a gem. It is runned like a family place with very attentive staff. The public rooms are nicely decorated and have a cosy and friendly atmosphere. At breakfast you can sit at the guest table with other guests or on a sofa in the lounge. They have anything you wish for including peanut butter.
Our room was spacious and smartly furnished and with all the modern amenities and with a great view over Santa Maria Novella Piazza.

Phenomenal experience at this hotel. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly, gracious, and helpful with spot-on recommendations for restaurants. They gave us a wifi hot spot to carry around during the day, indicating the level of detail and attention they give to their guests. Breakfast was included and very good. The room was small, but comfortable. Location is excellent - close to great shopping and walking distance from major tourist attractions.

Absolutely BLOWN AWAY!

We booked our stay (and our guests) at this hotel thru Expedia without any knowledge of the property. We were looking for a place to stay in Florence for a few days with our friends as we traveled on to Rome for a week.

We've become accustomed to staying in nicer hotels and don't mind spending more to be in a safe, comfortable establishment with very good service. However, from the moment I parked my car in front of the hotel (in the plaza) and walked in the door I knew this was very, very different.

Check in guest? I'm afraid not... but I don't want to be a spoiler! We were made to feel as if we were staying at a friend or relatives home and the owner was meeting us to give us his key.

Amenities? Well, again, think of everything in terms of staying at your best uncle's home... What do you need? What can I get for you? It's more than spectacular - it was incredible.

And (here's the best part), you can pay a lot more elsewhere and get a lot less.

The location was great. The staff was exceptional. And to add unbelievable to a list of accolades - I turned on the TV and there were my favorite US news channels...

Great Boutique hotel close to all main attractions

JK Place is a beautiful little Hotel situated walking distance to all main attractions.
The staff are very good and helpful.
We stayed in a superior deluxe and although small in size its was sufficent for us.

The only negative comment is beware of their laundry service (very expensive). You're not allowed an iron in the room, so if you need some clothes ironed, the prices are extortionate. They charged 60 euros to iron 4 items.

The hotel totally lives up to the hype. The location is excellent and convenient. The staff were wonderful and the concierge was excellent. Our room was spacious, chic and super comfortable room. We had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and the food and drinks were delicious. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed more.

My husband and I stayed here last week and from the moment we walked into the den we were sold. It has so much charm and makes you feel at home. They really know how to treat their guests here. Every day there was a breakfast spread with a dozen or so choices. Homemade treats were put out in the afternoon accompanied by infused water and you were offered tea and coffee throughout the day. I would go back in a heart beat. It was hard to leave.

This hotel was FANTASTIC. I have never come across staff more willing and eager to help with anything you needed. The hotel is different from other hotels - ie no traditional reception desk, breakfast is served in a living room-like setting. The whole lobby area smelled so fantastic, I purchased their custom scent from Dr. Vranjes. Just note that the basic rooms are very small. But the bedding and bathroom makes up for it!

This hotel was amazing! The location was great, the hotel was very nice and modern but the greatest thing about this hotel was the staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they were extremely friendly, made us feel welcome and were very helpful. I can not say enough about them.

During our trip to Italy, my family and I stayed at 4 different hotels and this by far blew the other hotels out of the water. As a matter of fact, due to the staff, I would say this is one of my favorite hotels ever. If you are going to Florence, you have to stay at this hotel!

An oasis in the heart of florence

We stayed here for 2 nights over a very hot, busy weekend. The hotel was a cool, calm, welcoming oasis. The staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel and rooms, although small, lacked nothing. It was beautifully decorated. Food was good- we ate breakfast and lunch and were not disappointed. Will definitely visit other JK place hotels now.

A lovely boutique hotel

My family and I really enjoyed our four night stay at JK Place. The hotel staff greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and offered us beverages while we wait comfortably at the lounge for check in. The hotel offers free breakfast and mini bar which was awesome. I requested the hotel to pre-arrange a day trip to Pisa and the service was great. The rooms were very clean and has a contemporary style, which was very comfy to stay in. The dining area includes a dining room and a living room, customers are free to have breakfast where ever they want, and the bar at the dinning room is always stocked with snacks and beverages. The location is very convinient as it is on the piazza of Santa Maria Novella Church, and is within walking distance from the train station. We could basically walk to the main attractions in the city from our hotel. The neighborhood also has a lot of restaurants. All in all, it is a boutique hotel which really makes you feel like you are home but with even more comfort. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Amazing boutique hotel!

This boutique hotel is convinently located near Firenze train station. We stayed for 5 nights in dec. The room is clean, modernly decorated and very comfortable. Room comes with free wifi and free breakfast and snacks in late afternoon. We had ordered two days of room service for breakfast, it was an incredible experience. We will definately come back.

fantastic!!!

private hotel in an ideal location. the service was impeccable. we were contacted a day after our reservation and asked if there was anything they could do for us upon our arrival. who does that anymore? when we arrived, very early, they greeted us by name and quickly made up our room and moved us in. the room was beautiful & spotless. the breakfast, amazing! would definitely stay here again. they really care.

Beautiful place to stay in Florence

Staff are welcoming, which for someone traveling alone is very important. The hotel property is absolutely stunning.
The food is wonderful.
The one thing I would change: provide more information on a la carte charges for services, such as room service.

The only drawback is the size of the bedroom/bathroom which is slightly cramped. Nevertheless, the remaining attributes of the hotel, in all respects, are more than sufficient to forgive the room size concern.

Fantastic Hotel

We were in Italy for 4 weeks and stayed in over 7 hotels this was by far our favourite the service was fantastic, we loved the option to have breakfast in bed for no extra charge
