The front desk staff--particularly Sophia--were delightful AND extremely helpful. We waited in their lovely executive lounge for our room and Sophia actually came up to let us know personally when our room was ready! We had a spacious junior suite. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!

The property was outdated. The lobby furniture was old and the lobby restroom was small, very little water pressure, and dirty. The room was nice. Beds were comfortable but the supples were chintzy. Not what I expected for the high cost. Below standard for a Marriott Hotel.

We arrived early and I do understand checkin was an 3pm.

I appreciate this is a rule however it was well after 3 pm when we were able and to check in.

Other couple we were travelling with were check in an hour before us.

The hotel itself was lovely as most Marriotts are.

Just a small numb of front end staff could have been more attentive.

we arrived early for check, and two hours later, they accommodated us after check-in time (30 minutes delay) in another, room that we booked with meeting space in the room, which is not friendly for family circumstances . We went to the pool which is nothing special the water was cold and a lot of winds around

Even though the hotel was empty they charge me $85 to have a room before 3 pm. I have never been charge this rate at any other US Hotels. Even though I had paid for breakfast everyday, they informed me that I did not have breakfast included. I had to look for my records to show them.

Initial room was a bit dated with shower in bath which we had trouble getting out of being over 70 years, but they immediately upgraded us to a walk in shower room, with a better view.
Hotel is close to shopping malls and plenty of restaurants to choose from with various cuisines.
Hotel staff were excellent - very friendly especially at check-in, and breakfasts were great - we had a breakfast box on two days as we had an early pick-up, and they were more than adequate.
They can also book day tours and make recommendations which we found very useful.
The hotel restaurant was quite expensive for what we had, and we only ate there for one evening, but all restaurants in the malls were also fairly expensive, so be prepared to pay - Santiago is an expensive place.

A safe place to stay

Staff were kind and helpful (and multilingual)
Room was OK, bed was clean, carpet was \"tired\"
Room was serviced every day, and water bottles replenished.
Generally, the hotel is is need of a \"makeover\", it'll be a huge effort, but with more modern competing properties nearby it'll be worth it.

Walking to a lot of shopping options, excellent restaurant, but only room service after 9pm, unfortunately no fan in the bathroom or windows to open (handicapped traveler).
Very good staff overall, Christian at the front desk was very helpful, as was Rodrigo in the bar, unpleasant parking security guard one day.
Overall a pleasant stay.

The Marriott is a nice, no surprises hotel

A good quality, clean hotel. I usually stay at the Courtyard hotel about 100 yards away. This time I decided to try the Marriott as the rate was very good. I have no complaints about the hotel, except that the room service was closed at 9:30 PM. COVID was the reason. The hotel is a little older than the Courtyard, but in very nice condition. Breakfast was very nice. That's the only meal I ate at the hotel. Overall, a very nice hotel, but next time I'll be back at the Courtyard. Just as nice, and less expensive!

The hotel don’t have the pool and spa areas working. It was not specified or explained at Expedia or at the Marriott Hotel Santiago website. One of the important reasons to book this property was to enjoy the pool. We can’t.

This was a great experience from check in to check out. The hotel is very close to a mall with many stores a restaurants. It's also next to a park, grocery store and pharmacy. The check in process took 10 minutes or so and we were escorted to the room. The views from the family room are excellent. It's a separated bedroom with a living room and pull out couch. The TV's were 4k and the living room had a PS4. The only complaint was the content would cut out for a few seconds every 15 minutes or so. Could have been the provider though.

The hotel is in very nice condition, but could use some new wallpaper or paint here and there. Carpets inside the rooms and hallways which seems rare in South America.

The breakfast was excellent with great service each morning. The hotel bar and lounge area was large and had good service as well. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant but the reviews looked great.

The lobby is huge, but there aren't many places to wait/sit for tours,etc. They did offer currency exchanges at the front desk, but we didn't use the service as they are normally not competitive.

Overall it was a great experience for the Marriott name and value. There are many other hotels in the city nearby, but with the price we received it was worth it.

The Marriott Santiago is a decent hotel, but is becoming tatty. Really needs an upgrade, lousy elevator access (only two working for such a large building), and housekeeping was only so-so. Bill wasn't accurate in the end. So, watch that. Particularly for the money, one could do better. You'd expect this level at a much cheaper hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights while traveling in SA as tourists. Hotel has 3 on site dining options plus 24 hour room service. There is a spacious lobby bar with an excellent bar tender, Fernando, and ample serving staff. Food was good in all venues that we sampled. There are lots of US business people in and out so many on staff speak English. Concierge staff is very helpful and easy to access. Wifi is excellent, but there is a fee. The hotel has an on-site car service for a fee. We used it many times, and it was excellent. Cars were clean, air conditioned and had competent, knowledgeable drivers. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was odd. The toilet cubicle had no door so the sink or shower/tub combo were tied up when the toilet was in use.
The housekeeping was the weakest link in our experience. The coffee bar was not serviced during our entire stay. We had to make several calls to get what we needed. there was a daily need to call for a towel or something not properly stocked in room. We did not use spa or business facilities. Overall, we really liked this hotel and would stay again.

I had 2 nights at this Santiago Marriott hotel executive room, stuff said room is ready. In the room there was wet towel was on the floor and used rope was hanging in the bath room. Omg. Just speachless.
Very closer this Hotel brand new Courtyard will be better. Next time if I visit Santiago I would book Courtyard or Renaissance !!!

A good bet: comfortable, good location and staff

This is a super nice property in Santiago. It used to be the tallest building in the city so it's a big hotel but rooms are nice and the linens feel good (after being on the road for a while it's nice to have good towels!).

It's conveniently located next to an enormous mall that has everything you could imagine. It also has the ticket location for the Hop On/Hop Off bus, Turistik. Highly recommend that.

The staff was very helpful and nice. I had some issues with my plane ticket and Hans at the Concierge desk was great.

The only complaint I have is the music in the lobby is way too loud. We arrived on a Friday night and the music was very distracting. I thought there was a band playing for a minute! I was on the phone trying to talk to the airline and had to apologize because I could hardly hear the agent.
