Excellent hotel, Junior Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location in Vitacura- very safe neighbourhood. A really really good breakfast (better than good - excellent), attentive staff and extensive selection of breakfast foods. The public spaces and bars are quirky (in a nice way) and they mix abosolutely awesome cocktails! The only downside is the Club Lounge - a little lacking in both amenities and service - if you're staying in a room with access to the club lounge do not have breakfast there, go to the restaurant on -1.

They charge for everything

Unlike other hotels in the city they do not provide complimentary water or coffee pods. Rather they will charge you an excessive amount for these items. Not a 5 star experience.

The Guest Lounge was understaffed outside the happy hour and basics like coffee milk and water unavailable. It is offensive to expect guest to pay for a coffee in their room. The room service was average. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were friendly.

We found the hotel was lovely and comfortable, but lacking with the level of service that we expected. We were on the 12th floor and had access to the executive lounge. The evening cocktails and snacks were quite nice but in the morning it was absolutely impossible to get a cup of coffee. Either the access was not open at 6:30 AM when it was supposed to be, or when it was, I found the coffee maker to be inoperable and sometimes not even plugged in and ready to dispense coffee.. I called the front desk to ask that additional coffee be brought up to our room so I could use our own coffee maker, but was told That we were only entitled to one complementary serving per stay. I really did not think this was good customer service at this level of hotel.
I found the staff to be pleasant, but at no time did I feel they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Everything was quite slow, and our housekeeping service was very inconsistent. One day we would have excellent cleanup, only to find the next day a very different story. I would like to give a better rating to this hotel, but I cannot at this time.
The surrounding area is excellent with a Shopping Mall, a couple of blocks away and access to many restaurants and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was also quite good, and I would highly recommend that they obtain English menus for the American customers.

Horrible hotel/ untrained staff

Had a very nasty experience in this so called \"luxury\" hotel. The front desk staff on duty at 2345 local time on 21 November, 2022 deliberately allocated me the worst possible room in the hotel without a working air conditioner. he punished me, because he said, I had not booked directly via \"Marriott bonvoy\" but via 3rd party side - Hotels.com. Despite my repeated requests, he did not change my room and I could not get absolutely any sleep though I had paid 200 usd for the room. Furthermore, I offered to pay another 200 usd, (over and above the 200 usd I had already paid for the room), as there were many empty rooms the hotel but he still refused to change my room.
I request senior management to change this person from duty immediately as he is very toxic and not helping the reputation of your property. he need to be put for housekeeping or cleaning dishes.
If you are a business traveler, I do not recommend this hotel as there was too much noise from street and the AC did not work the whole night.

Only issue we had was when we landed we did not find the driver that we had organized to pick us up and got scamed from fake taxi drivers. We dont have scamers at airports in Australia so was not aware of issue untill it was to late, other than that we were well looked after and enjoyed the rest of our stay

My 10 nights spent at the Renaissance Santiago Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were so helpful in giving us idea's of places to go see, they were extremely attentive to our needs, the food was amazing - overall I could not have asked for a better stay! I will absolutely return, if only to visit the wonderful staff who really made our trip to Chile as special as it was!

My husband and I have booked 3 rooms for our family X’mas trip before flying to Easter Island, checked in Dec 20. Hotel reception was very polite and managed to give us 3 rooms in a roll, my daughter room is connected to us feel good and comfort for the arrangement. Across the street is a good mall you won’t want to miss. Enjoy ours stay and Thanks to the hotel!

Apesar de novo e muito limpo, achei o banheiro muito ruim devido à pouquíssima privacidade. Tb achei a cama muito pequena.
O estacionamento é bem sem praticidade, toda vez vc tem que ir na recepção trocar o cartão pra conseguir sair.

Good location but might not stay again

The first night the breakfast room service door hanger was not collected, so breakfast was not delivered. Has to go on my city tour empty stomached. Second day, toilette paper was not refiled. Bed was relatively small. Towels were not all replaced (we were left without one hand towel and face towel). However, location is great, and lobby personnel was very nice. Laundry was delivered in two days, rather than next day. Bathroom layout was personally not ideal.

Visited on my birthday, staff went above and beyond to make it special. Very helpful arranging tourist activities, took care of me, I was able to see exactly what I'd hoped to.

Short walk to wonderful mall with lots of restaurants. Close to wonderful large park behind mall. Located in nice neighborhood. Not touristy, but safe and close to public transportation.

Breakfast buffet good, spa very nice. highly recommend for business.

Give extra money to attendants

The level of service was falling for the reason that I did not give more money to the waiters. The maid in the room threw my water twice, knowing that the bottle was still in the middle and cost $ 4,000 pesos (hotel water). From the second day of stay the service was terrible! My family and me received the cold food in the room, and to order it over the phone, it took about 5 minutes to answer my call. The hotel is very comfortable, but you only get served if you give extra money to the attendants.

Average chain hotel with sub-par room service.

I wanted to stay in a particular area because of work commitments and there were limited options because of the late date of my booking. I mention this because my review is partly tainted by the high season price I was paying this was well over $300 a night. For that price you expect certain things like bathrobes, comfortable beds, good room service or a free bottle of water in the room none of which I had.
The hotel restaurants are quite good as is the buffet breakfast but for whatever reason this does not extend to the room service food which is terrible. Literally the worst potato wedges, continental breakfast (additionally my coffee came stone cold), and pizza I have ever had.

The room was typical of a US mid tier chain like holiday inn or best western although a little larger. There were some amenities like irons, hair driers, coffee machine which is great but it lacks any little extras. There was no robe or free water provided and some of the mini bar items were past their expiry. The bed was admittedly typical of the region but horrendously hard. The sheets and pillows were fine if I had been paying 150 a night but at 300+ they were lackluster.

All and all for a couple of night it was ok but if you tend to work in your room at night during business trips and so make use of room service I would stay away from this hotel.

Modern Hotel in an Upscale Location

The hotel is located in an upscale residential neighborhood directly across the street from a large modern indoor/outdoor shopping mall with numerous restaurants / movies and bowling ! This was extremely convenient -
The area is safe and quiet - HOWEVER - please note that the road directly in front of the hotel is a very busy 4 lane freeway - you get to the mall on an overpass which is easy but the rooms that face that road are noisy - we had to switch from the 9th floor facing the road to a room that faced the back of the hotel which was still spectacular as it looked into the Andes - always request a room that faces the back side off the main road

The buffet is excellent and the beds comfortable - the hotel staff was extremely attentive - the outdoor pool is very quiet and serene -

Good value - amazing views of the Andes and only 15 minutes from downtown Santiago

Contemporary, clean, American type hotel, rooms good size compared to European sizes. Service is over the top, nice breakfast buffet. My only note to prospective travelers is it's close to everything by Uber, or the tube which I didn't try, and it's in a nice neighborhood but it's not in walking distance to anything but a shopping mall. I'm not sure after touring that's a bad thing but I would've liked to know that.

Relaxing surroundings with tons of staff to help you navigate the hotel and the area. Everyone pampers you!!! The neighbor is safe with some restaurants nearby. The Metro is a bit of a walk but easy to find. Uber is simple, quick and not expensive so the location worked well for us. Also, if you choose, the hotel has cars and drivers to take you anyplace and pick you up whenever you call. The breakfast is excellent. They offer a large variety of fresh fruit, pastry, etc. and custom eggs, omelettes and crepes. They even have eggs Benedict!!!!!!

The hotel was very nice. All good except when I asked for a shaving kit. They wanted to charge me 10$ for it and it was aweful. I have returned it without paying and they politely accepted.

This hotel is in a great location. Las Condes is a beautiful area and quite secure. The hotel was beautiful, understated elegance. The hotel employees provided exceptional, perfect service. They went over and above to help us with any request, including keeping the bar open for a late night cocktail just for us. While the hotel is outside the city centre, it is in a secure location and is quite close to the Santiago Metro which is cheap and extremely efficient. I couldn't fault the hotel or the service we received (and I'm pretty picky). I will definitely book this hotel on our next trip back to Chile.

We had an enjoyable one day stay. We forgot one of our bags when we left and they were very helpful in retrieving it and making sure we got it and got to the airport. The only thing that was a problem: of the hundreds of channels they had on the TV, only one or two were in English.

Good customer service - but hotel needs renovation

Hotel is within walking distance of the mall in Santiago. There is a hop on / hop off tourist service that is available at the mall as are restaurants, shops and a currency exchange. The exterior of the hotel is dated and needs to be updated. The rooms are small but comfortable. There are a couple of apple computers that are provided - no windows, which makes their use difficult for business users - one wonders why.

Expensive, but worth it

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Room, views, spa, restaurants, and service were great! Hotel is located just outside the center of the city, and airport is about 30 minutes (may be 2 hours if traffic is bad) from the airport. Subway stop is not very close (20 minute walk), but mall with lots of restaurants is across the street, and both hotel taxis and regular taxis are always available. Also, tour busses leave within walking distance. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

Glitches in service let down a lovely hotel

This should be a great hotel, but I can't in all conscience give it more than three out of five because of a string of hic-ups in the service; a couple of which could have caused serious problems.

The building generally is top-notch. The bedroom is stylish, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the wet room rather than the full bathroom. The public areas are equally attractive, with an array of different bars (inside and outside) and a restaurant. The bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the only downside is that the different bars each have different food options which means in practice you have less choice than you might if you want to eat as well as drink. The lengthy breakfast hours (6.30am until 11.00am I think) are also a big plus.

Unfortunately I suffered a string of gremlins in the service which I'd find problematic in a Marriott Courtyard, never mind what’s supposed to be an upscale establishment. During the course of a four night stay I counted two occasions where room service were not answering the phone, one evening where a corporate function with a very noisy PA system made being in either of bar areas serving food unpleasant and most seriously on the final morning when I had to be at the airport for 6.20am both my booked alarm call and my taxi were missed.

Nice hotel but inefficient staff

We had problems with getting our room cleaned- they forgot to clean the bathroom and also we called the front desk for late checkout twice they never called us back with answers. They also lure you with cheap room rate than all the amenities are really expensive. The hotel driver charges twice the price of holiday inn express driver.

Em geral foi tudo muito bem. A unica falha foi nao realimentar o mini bar em nenhum dos dias. Muito chato ir deitar e ver que nao tem nenhuma garrafa de agua no quarto.
