All of the staff we dealt with were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was terrific - much to choose from and the variety of fresh fruit provided was great. We loved staying at this Hotel - it was a perfect base for us while attending a sporting event in Santiago

I enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham garden Santiago Kennedy- the rooms are comfortable, the property is good and the staff pleasant. The area around the hotel is mostly residential and quiet. There is a wonderful Mall close by with shopping and many dining options. The hop on hop off bus also starts from there and is convenient for sightseeing.

No air conditioning in rooms , they told me because it’s winter time room was very hot at 27 C , could not sleep as it was so hot . Trying to open the window did not help at all , just got a lot of noise from the street . I spent 2 sleepless nights at that hotel . Would never go back

The beds were very comfy. They allowed us to store luggage for free before check in and after check in. Please note: Check in before 10 am means you have to pay for a FULL NIGHT. Check in between 10 AM and 3 PM and you pay for half of a night (but it includes breakfast, which goes until 11 AM). If you pay through hotels.com, be sure to check that they actually credit you that amount. They have to do it manually and might forget. The reception staff were very kind and patient and could speak English. The indoor pool was small but fun. If you are a foreigner and have your passport and pay with US dollars, you do not have to pay the 19% tax.

A good hotel that scream for redecorarion

It is and old hotel that works well. Decoration will transport you to the '80 . Warm indoor pool amazing. Unfortunatelly water jets didn't work that day. Breakfast 8 over 10 as well as restaurant (plenty of beer in menu, only 2 of them available) Location is great and onsite parking is a plus

Bring your own drinking water

We were told not to drink the water but to purchase it at the bar. The water was expensive at $3.50 for a small bottle making it cheaper to buy the draft beer. If the hotel wishes to reduce it's environmental impact then provide a filtered water machine and change the individual plastic shower gel containers for a large one fixed to the wall.. The Manager and staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was also good.

Great location and friendly staff. I went for just a night with my family and the rooms were nice and clean. I was very surprised how quiet the room was, we were given a room not facing the highway, but even so, this hotel is located between 2 very busy intersections. There is a cute outdoor patio where you can relax and order food/drinks. I recommend this hotel.

As a business traveller I was very disappointed. I arrived on an overnight flight sunday-monday with meetings scheduled in the afternoon - even though my room (booked for a week) was empty and ready ... they tried to charge me usd$39 for \"early check-in\". 25 yrs of business travel and no hotel had that audacity.

While the bathroom has seen some surface updates, overall the hotel feels old and tired. The breakfast is a joke (i've had better included breakfasts at best westerns in Canada).

The bed was comfortable and the location suited my needs. I will definitely be staying at another hotel on my next visit to Santiago.

The hotel is an excellent value in a very good location and I will stay here again and I enjoyed a 4 night stay in November.

There is one issue that needs correction at it as the breakfast buffet. 4 staff members clearing and cleaning tables and not one watching the food and plate supply. Eggs empty for a long duration of time, no plates left at all and other dishes empty or near empty. There must be a staff designated at all times to observe and anticipate replenishment.

In general the hotel staff is friendly, but Sofía at the from desk is the most amazing and helpful person I have meet at a hotel. She was not only imaginaive, but went beyond all expectations helping me handle the complex logistics of my luggage at hotel to airport transport. Will definitely stay here on my next trips to Santiago de Chile

The location is perfect, nice area and quiet. Just minutes from the center. The rooms are confortable, the bathroom is nice. The TV has international channels. The staff is very helpful and nice. The restaurant serves excellent food.

A disappointing experience

This hotel is supposed to be 4 star, it’s about 2.5 in my book. I booked a room for 3 people and this was a business trip. There was inadequate desk space, one hard chair, one soft TV chair. One day drawer for clothes. The restaurant was very very slow and my food was not properly cooked. The bar didn’t stick any normal larger type beers and the swimming pool was so rough on the floor I grazed my knees. The price of this hotel was much higher than better hotels I’ve used for business in Europe

We arrived one day late because our flight from the UK had been cancelled due to bad weather and our luggage had failed to arrive. We explained the situation to staff at reception who went out of their way to supply us with toiletries, and during the next two days repeatedly phone the Air France baggage handler at Santiago Airport, both Natalie and Pablo provided us with frequent up-dates, and knowing we were joining an Antarctic cruise and worried about suitable clothing, even informed us the moment our luggage arrived while we had dinner.
Food was good and well presented, the Chilean wines recommended by the staff were excellent and without doubt better than the wines offered during the visit to the vineyard.
The soft furnishings in the hotel and our bedroom were certainly past their prime and could do with refurbishment.

Traditional Hotel sleeping in it's good past

The Kennedy is a tradicional hotel in Santiago which needs more than just up-dates.
The service is terrible bad (from house keeping to front desk).
Doesn't seem motivated or they are just new cheap employees with no experience nor training.
The location is good as always although this time a small front room facing the highway was very noisy.
Wi Fi in your our room didn't work properly.
Bed was. good & clean.
Bathroom old fashioned but ok.
Good TV.
Basic included brakfadt eas. Basic ,
I think that they shoud think that today are many new and good options and the the loyals deserve a minimun in the XXI Century.
I was traveling with 4 other couples and expected a sure bet.
The bet was very under my basic expectstions.
Seemed we were in the 80's without the service of the 80ths.

Beautiful hotel - horrible location

It was a lovely hotel but I had to check out asap when I saw the location. It is right on a major freeway - 4-6 lanes? Also they are doing major construction and the jackhammering was awful. Also, it is not in a great part of town for tourists. There is nothing around the hotel.

I appreciated the 24/7 access to the excellently equipped fitness center as well as being within walking distance of the largest shopping mall in Chile. The main downside about location is that it is not close to a subway stop. Santiago has the largest subway system in South America, so this was unfortunate. The bathroom was very well-equipped.

Comfortable end of trip stay

This hotel is a bit out of the way of tourist sites, but is only 3 easy walking blocks from a large, modern shopping center (beware pickpockets) and the Hop on Hop Off bus terminal (which unfortunately did not run that day due to demonstrations in the city center that caused traffic chaos). Comfortable, clean rooms and helpful staff. We had a corner room which was very large that overlooked a number of roads - not too much traffic noise though. Breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful. There is a golf course also in walking distance. The hotel taxi service was very good - costs a little bit more but the standard of the car is excellent.

Amazingly helpful staff

The Hotel Kennedy has a great front desk staff. They go out of their way to help you find what you need, whether it is a cab, an electrical adapter or the subway stop. Also the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel bar and restaurant are a very good value as the food and drinks are nice but not overly expensive.

Comfortable, quiet, friendly hotel

Conveniently situated in the edge of Vitacura and Las Condes and near good shopping area. The hotel is not a huge and anonymous chain hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a good menu to satisfy most tastes. We chose the hotel because it was convenient for my travel companion'so conference venue but it was a good choice and probably nicer than the nearby large US chain hotels.

Very nice experience at Kennedy

Lovely little hotel in Las Condes area. Hotel is clean and well kept, albeit a bit older. Room was very comfortable. Gym was a real plus with good cardio equipment and weights. Big mall very close, but other attractions are a hike. Metro stop is 15 min walk away and then 20 min or so to downtown. Breakfast buffet was quite good. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Good stay.

A Superb Hotel

I don't usually rate hotels but I felt obligated in this case, I travel a lot in the U.S. Mexico and Latin America and it's hard to find a Hotel like Kennedy, my room was clean, their staff was great, friendly, alway ready to help, my cab driver Fabian was super professional, always on time, front desk people were very informative, I went to chile for business and took two days off, they set up my tours, they made everything so simple for me, I was impressed with their punctuality and professionalism, I recommend to buy jewerly from Mrs Cecilia, a lovely lady that has a small store in the lobby, there's a big mall at walking distance called Parque Arauco with chain restaurants and also with Chilean food. very safe area, you can walk at night and feel very safe.
food at their restaurant was very good, Marcela welcomes you every morning with a smile.
Congratulations to all, I'm very impressed and highly recommend this hotel to everybody going to Santiago de Chile for business or pleasure.
