Står nog på hemsidan om man läser ordentligt, men jag blev ändå besviken över att det inte fanns möjlighet att tillaga ett lättare varmt mål mat. Det som fanns var 2 microugnar, varav den ena var trasig. Smidigt att ta sig hit både med buss och trikken.
Helhetsintrycket är bra och jag kan tänka mig att återvända.

Locking storage with each bunk with adequate space. Towels provided. Very little outside noise noticeable. Large sitting area in room. The room had dimmable light. The bathrooms were very clean. The hostel is amazing … very clean, convenient and safe. There needs to be signs in dorms telling people they should leave the room and go into one of the beautiful common areas if they want to talk. People often need to either wake up or go to sleep really early and every night we had woman at all hours of the night talking on their phone, or talking with each other. One night there was almost a fight. Each night people had to ask them to be quiet. There needs to be signs posted about lights out, no talking in dorm/ sleeping area and about preparing yourself the night before if you need to get up earlier than 7 am. Some

I think it is the best hostell i've stayed at. I didnt expect to find a bed already made and fresh towels to my disposal. I found evertything i needed and super with a grocery store next dore. The curtains in front of the beds in the dormotory made the whole difference and it almost felt like my own room.so great for a short stay when all you need is a bed to sleep in ,and a place to work

The space is very new and welcoming, with a nice hostel vibe. At the same time, I was expecting some basic facilities shown in the pictures and description that were missing. For example, there was no kitchen stove or oven. I was also really disappointed by the lack of cleaning of the microwave. I reported this at reception on a Tuesday, and they told me that it is usually cleaned during the Monday shift. However, during the days I stayed, nobody cleaned it, despite me mentioning it a couple of times on the first day. To me, it doesn’t make sense to have beautiful, modern fridges but overlook such basic hygiene.

I also understood from the description that there would be coffee and tea available, but the only option I found was a paid coffee machine.

The bed itself was clean and comfortable. However, the room was not checked or tidied daily. I stayed for three nights, and the empty beds around me were never cleaned or prepared again. That said, the rooms are new and well designed for sleeping, with useful features like adjustable lighting, comfortable lockers, and a bench that made it easy to dress and organize belongings.

Nonetheless, I was not satisfied with the customer service or overall experience. I slept very poorly—partly because of alarms going off from 5:00 a.m. onwards, and also because on the second night another guest snored so loudly (and even talked in his sleep) that it was impossible to rest, even with earplugs.

I will note that I didn’t see any full community kitchen but a kitchenette with kettle, toaster, and microwaves. For me that was not a problem at all but some travellers might care so I thought it worth mentioning. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Nice place, very modern and colorful design. My only complaints would be there was no bench in the shower room to put your belongings on. Also be prepared for odd elevators, you have to open a door to access them.

Very good value and a good location close to transport links. Kitchenette is a big bonus, especially with kiwi convenience store next door. Couple of small areas for improvement: room did not have a kettle and the curtains did not adequately block out the light.

We booked a private room here last minute and loved it. It is absolutely bare bones, but the price was right, and we were delighted to find out that it was super clean and well accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to sleep and to fix a meal.

Overall pretty convenient, bathrooms were accessible at almost all times. The cupboards to store equipment was not very practical, especially when the guests in the lower bunks kept their shoes outside. But would still recommend this place if you're a solo (especially) woman traveller.

Facilities Need Improvement Despite Decent Stay

I stayed here for 3 nights in a large shared room. I can’t complain about the noise from other guests—it was expected, and I came prepared with earplugs.

However, the main issues were with the bathrooms and toilets. During my stay, all the bunks were occupied, but the number of shower rooms was very limited and they were constantly in use. There were two hair dryers, but neither of them worked. The water temperature in the showers wasn’t adjustable and felt too cold for me.

On Sunday, there were no cleaners, so the toilets were in a poor state and had run out of toilet paper.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in

I stated in the private room with double bed. It was absolutely fantastic.

Room was spacious, clean, had safe cooking facilities. Was right next to a supermarket. Decently located. Easy to walk to or get tram/bus around.

Beds comfy. I don’t know how the terrace or shared spaces were like as I didn’t use them However. I would assume they would be top notch too. They clearly pride themselves in providing a good safe place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay! The place is spacious and clean. Even it's a lot of people in one room, I don't feel crowded. The locker got the locker so it's very safe! Also, the place is right next to a supermarket, so I think it's extra convenient. Thanks for having me! I definitely recommend to everyone looking for a hostel in Oslo.

This hostel was chosen because my preferred hostel closed down to make way for a school full time campus. The hostel was beside the Kiwi supermarket which made me so happy thinking i could buy my groceries there without travelling to anywhere to buy BUT unfortunately they didnt allow cooking for Dorm guests so i had to return my stuff i bought for cooking.

It was our first family stay at a hostel, we loved the rooftop terrace and social area. Brilliant size room, which was clean and had everything we needed. The beds weren’t the best, thin and hard mattress but lovely warm quilts. Would recommend.

Great hostel - bed was comfortable and even though I was in the larger room, it didn't feel like it as the beds were spaced out.

Finding my room was a bit confusing but the staff was helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood was safe but a bit of a walk from the centre of town and main attractions.

This is hands down the best and most beautiful hostel I’ve stayed in. The spacious resting areas and thoughtfully designed public spaces, perfect for dining and socialising, make it comfortable for both introverts and extroverts to enjoy their time while traveling. The option to choose between an upper or lower bunk is a great touch, and I especially love that the storage is right next to the bed with a digital lock. Additionally, there’s a large supermarket downstairs, which is incredibly convenient for newcomers to grab food or explore the local culture. This is the first time a hostel has made me feel like I could stay forever.

Great value for the money

Stayed in a dormitory for only women and it was very comfortable, clean and quiet although there were quite a lot of guests. So it’s a great hostel and I would recommend it.

Staff were excellent! I had unfortunately dropped my phone in between the bunk and the wall and were super helpful in getting it out. My friend and I slept on the top double bed bunk and while the sheets were clean the surrounding area REALLY needed a vacuum. That’s my only complaint!

Amazing place, cheap, cheerful, great rooms. Only thing was that in August it was very stuffy and hot and lots of people were drinking and yelling outside the window. Not Bunks' fault but the deliveries at 5am for the shop next door were also quite loud. Maybe if our room faced the other side we'd be better. Cannot fault Bunks itself at all though!

I have a book for 2 days. I did not show up in the first day. When I show up at the second day. They do not have a bed available for me. They were very rude with me. They let me slept at the social room with any cover. I was frozen all night. They acting like they do not care for their guests. They have zero empathy for their guests.

Easy check-in and out, great location, everything clean and in working order. Spacious, private, quiet room (we had a private room for four). A little strange that our room included a kitchen but had no pots/pans/dishes/utensils of any kind. This was our first hostel stay so I'm guessing guests are expected to either bring their own or pay extra?

Towels and linens and soap in wall dispensers (at the bathroom sink and in the shower) were all included. Huge bathroom.

We stayed on a Friday night and it seemed busy enough in the main areas but I was amazed how quiet our room was the entire length of our stay.

There's a Kiwi grocery/general store right next door, very convenient! And plenty of parks, cafes, etc. within walking distance. We also walked from and to central station, maybe a half-hour walk? But local transit is probably great too, we just didn't use it our one day in Oslo.

I would absolutely come back here!
