Everything was clean and good . Only that the washing women was knocking on the door MANY times when I was sleeping, BEFORE checkout. This destroyed my sleep. In the end they just unlocked the door and came in. I had to wake up, take my clothes on, and tell then Im sleeping, get out. Between the check-in and check-out this is MY home, Im paying to stay here.
So NOT okay.

If the clock was 11:00 or more, of course its okey. But not before!

El apartamento cumple bien la función, dormir para ir a conocer al día siguiente la ciudad. Es limpio, la entrada es fácil sin embargo por desconocimiento del lugar podríamos los turistas complicarnos en la
Entrada. El punto de mejora es para la comunicación, no hay nadie quien pueda ayudarte fácilmente ante una situación particular, solo un teléfono y nosotros no contábamos con acceso telefónico. Pero por lo demás está bien.

Un bon logement (appartement standard, 1 chambre) avec beaucoup de "mais".
- Des instructions d'arrivée claires MAIS envoyées au dernier moment par mail (rien par SMS contrairement à ce qui est annoncé) et contradictoires avec ce qui est écrit dans l'appli.
- Possibilité de quitter l'appartement plus tard MAIS aucune réponse aux trois demandes que j'ai envoyées par mail.
- Literie très confortable MAIS le lit pour deux est coincé entre trois murs donc pour accéder au fond du lit, il faut enjamber l'autre occupant.
- Immeuble sécurisé par un code d'accès MAIS les portes-fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée sont librement accessibles à l'arrière du bâtiment (et la nôtre n'était pas verrouillée à notre arrivée).
- Draps et serviettes propres MAIS pas de gel douche ni de savon (c'est précisé, mais il faut en être conscient).
- Un agent intervient en cas d'alarme incendie MAIS il ne semble pas vraiment pressé et n'attendez aucune communication de la part de la société de location.
- Il y a un grand salon et une salle à manger séparée MAIS la chambre est à peine plus grande que le lit et il est difficile de se glisser dans la douche entre les toilettes et le lave-linge. Le lavabo est tellement peu profond que pour se laver les dents au-dessus, il faut coller son visage au miroir.

L'emplacement est excellent, dans une zone résidentielle chic, à proximité de commerces et de transports (bus et tram). L'appartement est propre et bien équipé (lave-linge et lave-vaisselle).

Very clean, great location, no communication

Impeccably clean and comfortable. Great locatio, 20 min walk to university, 5 minutes to great shops and restaurants and bakeries. The only concern I had was lack of communication. There is a phone number on their google map but is not in service, they don’t answer their emails either. Emailed them to see if we can get an extra pillow and bedding, also to figure out how to pick the balcony door ( European lock, unfamiliar to American travellers), no answer at all. A simple “no, we don’t provide extra pillows “ would have sufficed.

We had a very unpleasant experience with this The Apartment Company. They are not organized at all. They kept sending me messages to ask payment multiple times. Secondly after we checked into our unit, there is no toilet paper. Even surprisely, there is no window covering for the bead room. I called the central office but none of the issues can be solved because the maintenance staff and the house keeper are all off work already. I asked to change to another unit, they said they cannot. Basically we slept in the headroom without window covering. It is not dark as the street light come through. I don’t recommend this place to stay to avoid an unpleasant surprise!

Great location in Majorstuen, clean, modern, comfortable and well appointed non-serviced apartment. The sliding bedroom doors did not fully close or lock, leaving a 5cm gap to the wall and creating a bit of a privacy issue (2-bedroom, garden floor unit)

The property was far from every thing. the closest grocery take 15 minute far and there is nothing near by. Keep in mind you have to pay to go somewhere else to get the key and again paying to get to the apartment of course if you find someone to answer you. The apartment is close to daycare which is noisy from 7 morning till about 5.

Great Stay. One Scare.

The apartment was great - nice, new and clean. Good location within walking distance of transit, grocery stores, Vinmonopolet, etc. We were lucky to arrive early in the afternoon, so checking in at a separate location wasn't an issue. Overall, the stay was good; however, there was one I think is worth mentioning:
When taking the rubbish/recycling out an hour before the stated check-out time, I was shocked when my key card no longer opened the front door. Thankfully, neighbours were out on their balcony and offered to let me in, otherwise, I had no way to contact anyone. It would have been nice to know that the key doesn't work the front door after a certain time.
Since the apartment has to be cleaned after each stay, it would be easier for the cleaning staff to handle recycling and garbage disposal, especially on short stays where little rubbish is generated.

Our apartment was on the top floor so we had access to a private roof terrace which had lovely views of Oslo. 15min walk to the Royal Palace. Nice residential area with a few restaurants and shops less than 5min walk from the apartment. Good access to public transport as well.

The place is quite clean and is located in the upscale suburb of Majorstuen. I would've liked the check-in process to be a little more streamlined - email the code to the key box to the guest 24 or 48 hours beforehand so they don't have to walk around the airport trying to find a phone to call you. There should also be a checklist for the cleaners to follow so each apartment gets the exactly same household items. We booked two rooms next to each other. One had no teaspoons and the other had no teatowel. Neither had hairdryers. We emailed asking for teatowels and dryers but never received a reply. So I am going to take one star off for the inconsistency and another for lack of communication.

Very new and very clean. Kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a private bath wrre very nice. Clothes washer in bathroom but no dryer. Quiet neighborhood and helpful friendly staff you communicate with by phone. Easy remote check in. Highly recommend for families visiting Oslo.

Nice apartments, a bit remote

We checked in via the phone and someone answered promptly each time. The apartments have great furnishings, are in great condition, and very clean. The neighborhood is very quiet, but a bit far from public transport, especially when walking with luggage. Wifi was fast and reliable.

A few complaints we had are that we had to put away the dishes as they were just sitting in the dishwasher and apartment smelled very fishy. It was very warm and there was no fan or way to move air around. The roof entrance had no curtain so there was light streaming in all night since it doesn't really get dark around the summer solstice.

This room was the ideal base station for our time in Oslo with day trips into Drammen, Buskerud and Vestfold. The neighborhood was great, with excellent access to Bygdøy, Frogner park, Slottet, and the downtown area. There is a small parking lot behind the building where we were able to leave the rental car for 70 Kr per day, but on days that we travelled, the street in front had plenty of free parking from 21:00 to 09:00. It was wonderful to have a washing machine to do our laundry, and there were drying racks that worked very well. The kitchen was well supplied with equipment, and we were able to prepare our own food as much as we chose. The apartment was quite spacious, and the bedroom was able to be very dark in spite of the perpetual sun of the late spring. The WiFi was reliable, with fast internet connection. We never met the staff, but they were very accommodating, communicating by text and concerned about our access and comfort.

Kitchen was adequate but our stove did not work properly. Bedroom is extremely small. A queen bed with 4 walls. You have to climb over your partner to get out of bed. I had more space on a cruise ship. Washing machine was good, but no place to dry clothes. Walk to city center is about 30 minutes. The unit was clean.

Scandinavian-style Family Friendly Apartment!

We had a great time at The Apartments. It was basically like living in a brand new IKEA showroom for 4 days. After a canceled flight, we booked this hotel last minute and the staff were very accommodating with check-in although it was 11 p.m. They gave us a key code and left the keys in a locked box for us. We were so happy to see such a clean and nice room once we got inside. 2 bedrooms, a fridge, oven, stove and full kitchen amenities. This is a very new building. Plus, a washing machine! We had to buy our own laundry detergent though.

This is in a residential area so is more a home-type of stay than a tourist area. We had to walk about 10 minutes to the Majorstuen subway and/or to the bus stop. Overall we would stay there again because it was so nice to have a kitchen to avoid expensive dining out.

We enjoyed staying away from the tourist crowd in a quiet residential area near a major tram/subway/bus terminal in small efficient nearly new apartment with balcony.
Easy to call when we arrived at the airport using telephones behind airport Information desk. Our apartment was ready early as we arrived in the morning. One hour from airport via GoToFly train and taxi from Central Station in Oslo. Staff met us and walked us through apartment and helped provide information about public transportation, local stores and café.
Apartment had everything needed including clothes washer and all kitchen essentials, three closets with hangers, balcony with chairs and table, free internet, sunlight blocking curtains. Locked front door easy to open from room using intercom.
To draw in outside air we used the kitchen range fan. When we had a problem with electric cooking range after hours we got help the next day via email and staff was very supportive and accommodating to solve problem.
To acquire a taxi back to the central train station staff helped via email to make the arrangements and the Oslo Taxi was on time. Returned to airport from taxi pick up at 06:45 to FlyToGet train only 35 minutes!

There is no reception. You must call ahead to organize a check in. This was not stated in advance. I waited an hour in the rain to check in. This really ruined my impression of the apartment.
No services whatsoever in the building. If you want a clean basic apartment, not a hotel, and can work with their check in policy, it is fine.
Room was basic but clean and functional.
Location is 15 minutes walk from Majorstuen station.

Oppholdet varte i 9 dager i forbindelse med familie på sykehus. Flott å ha en hel leilighet med Joker og Bunnpris innen 5 min gange. Fikk nytt sengetøy og påfyll av håndklær halvveis i oppholdet.
Det var rent og pent i hele bygget, nytt og alle fasiliteter i leiligheten. Sentralt med 12 min gange til Majorstuen og 5 min til buss.
Parkering i bakgård og ved veg.

Savner telefonnummer ved spørsmål, måtte sende mail og det tok en dag og to for å få svar. Alt i alt meget bra og vil benytte dette til både jobb og fornøyelse ved en annen anledning.

食洗機やランドリーも部屋に備え付けのため長期滞在向きでした。強いて言えば乾燥がとてつもないので加湿が重要だと思いました。

We got an apartment on the ground floor with a view on a carpark. Not exactly as described and shown in the photos. There was no shampoo or conditioner supplied, no coffee maker, you could not sit on the outside chairs for fear of falling through, the dish washer was old, smelled and made too much noise, the washing machine did not work. Overall in my view not worth the amount they charge for that particulair apartment. However, the cleaner does a good job.

Lägenheten var jättefin, men tyvärr förstördes vår vistelse av att grannarna hade fest till klockan fyra på morgonen. Vi ringde journumret men inget hände. När vi tog upp det i receptionen på söndagen lovade de att framföra ärendet till ansvarig och återkomma, men vi har inte hört något.

Boendet kan säkert vara bra när allt fungerar som det ska, men kommunikationen och hanteringen av problem behöver bli mycket bättre.

Dårlig kommunikasjon med ansatte. De som jobbet der opplevdes som irriterte og lite interessert i å hjelpe når det oppsto problemer.
Det var vannlekkasje fra oppvaskmaskinen, skittent på kjøkken og bad.
Beliggenheten er rolig og sentral på Majorstuen.

Fantastisk sted, sentralt, men stille og rolig, kort vei til kollektivtraffikk, rent og ryddig, mye mye bedre enn hotel opphold, fabtastisk kjøkken med det du trenger, og personal svarer fort via sms ved spørsmål, annbefales for deg som vil ha det beste sted å bo under ditt besøk i Oslo, enten privat eller i jobb reise .

Vi hadde et fint opphold, men så at vasken på badet ikke var tilstrekkelig rent samt at det var støv på hyllen over TV.

Mye søppel på uteområdet. Sneiper og ølbokser samt annet søppel. Dette bør dere prioritere å fjerne!

Vi kommer tilbake uansett fordi leiligheten og området er super for oss :)

Helt ypperlig sted. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.
Veldig stille og rolig område uten noe støy fra hverken folk eller trafikk. Godt med offentlig transport i nærheten, så det var lett å komme seg rundt i byen.

Ruhiger Standort mitten in der Stadt

4 Tage-Städtetripp in Oslo. Vom Appartement lässt sich alles fußläufig erreichen. Zwei Straßenbahnen sowie U-Bahn in 5min erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe zahlreich vorhanden. Ausstattung im Appartement etwas rar. Für 2 Personen nur 3*Teller/Tassen/Besteck vorhanden. Auch sind 2 Geschirrspültabs für 4Tage knapp bemessen. Aber das Appartement ist kuschelig und chik.

Quiet area. Easy parking. Nice small terrace. Easy to Get around by car. Only setback was that it gets hot in the sleepeing area, due to lack of ventilation. There was a fan ready to use. So a known problem.. overall a nice stay. Comfortable and practical appartment. Appreciated the washingmashine. Will be back.

Helt supert!

Vi var 3 jenter på helgetur i Oslo som prøvde ut denne leiligheten. Den ligger bare 5 min gåavstand fra bogstadveien og i et fint og rolig nabolag. Leiligheten var veldig ren og ryddig da vi ankom. God utnyttelse av plass, det gikk helt fint å bo 3 stk her. Det ligger flere matbutikker i nærheten, som passer fint da du kan lage mat i leiligheten, den har det meste av kjøkkenutstyr;)
Takk for en fin helg! Vi kommer tilbake!
