I stayed here for a couple of nights during my trip to Mexico City. The property is in a very central location, which made getting around Polanco easy and convenient. The place itself feels cozy and has a nice, quiet charm. Staff was very helpful.

That said, there are a couple of gaps worth noting. The room did not have air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable depending on the weather. However, the staff arranged me an portable AC. The lighting in the room was also quite dim and could definitely be improved.

Overall, I had a good stay and the location is a strong plus. I would rate this property 3 out of 5.

Please do not fall for the hype around this “hotel”, the room I got was run down, holes/rips in the blanket, stank of sewage, the shower dripped, the toilet wasn’t sealed/was coming apart, the sink had no plug/stopper, there were ants in the bathroom, no ventilation.
Yes, breakfast is included, yet they do not tell you that you have to walk a block to another of their “hotels” for it, no mini fridge, no room service, no telephone.

Great location. Room average but bathroom was very dirty in all corners. My towel had a huge hole in it, which they change after letting them know. Our sink didn't drain due to dirty pipes (the dirt and hair would flout around in the water that wouldn't drain). Poor lighting , no fan. Room description said it had kitchenette which ours didn't. ONLY good thing was the location.

I usually don’t make this kind of comments but the property has very poor maintenance.
In the room was mold and the paint was coming off the walls.
The main knob door was falling apart, the refrigerator wasn’t working, was ask for more towels because the ones we had were like sand paper including the bathroom floor mats had holes and very old and stained, they advertised that they had pretty much that it was equipped with utensils (which there was none and missing a lot of pots so we couldn’t even cook, bed was very uncomfortable and couldn’t sleep much, the balcony seemed like it doesn’t get cleaned because there were old cigarette buts, the balcony shades were old and damaged, the property elevator is old makes a lot of noise and the elevator door is very dangerous, my girlfriend’s leg got stuck in the door and won’t open so we were lucky that I was right outside and push the outside button to reopen the door, same thing happened to me but it was my arm. I notified the front desk and they’re answer

I love Mexico City and I adore the people here. I would be back any time. What I found are most of the hotels. I’m not very well. Kept up with repairs. Paint shipping cracks in the walls, the floors, but the people and the cleanliness of the sheets and laundered items is excellent.

Our recommendation to improve.

Very well located and friendly staff but …the suite 404A where we stayed needs an overall update ; the bathroom cabinet doors looks awful, the towels are very old, the living room sofa and chair are too big and old looking, the dining room chairs need new fabric because they had many stains, the sink looked dirty so … hope they do better maintenance and renew some of the furniture. We had to walk 1 block to another location for the breakfast that was included in the rate we paid.

This location is excellent, right in the heart of Polanco. Overall the facilities are in great shape. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Breakfast is included in the price.
On the negative side, the lighting in the room could be improved (the closet does not have light). There was a missing soap plate in the shower, which makes it very difficult to use your toiletries.

This is good property. The room which I had was not big but had everything I needed and was very clean. The biggest issue which I have faced was the noise isolation. I could hear all talkes and every step from common areas. No AC. The hotel offers fans but the fan I had was designed for big areas so I couldn't use it as it was creating so strong flow of air that it was taken off my blanket. It has to be mentioned that the hotel offers nice breakfast

Foreigners Beware! Stay Away! Scammers!

This hotel is extremely overpriced in comparison to what you can get. The location is in a good spot but if you compare it to other hotels in the area or a homeshare rental, you could way more bang for your buck. I booked this hotel on a third party website for a few days while changing apartments in the area. I passed by the hotel the day before we were supposed to checkin and asked if I could checkin early. Understandably there would be a fee. The person quoted me 50% of the rate I was paying to checkin early. No problem. I show up the day of and they charged me 50% of the RACK rate which is an absurd amount. I spoke to the manager PATY (Patricia) who is probably the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with. They knew they had me standing there with 7 bags and were going to stick it to me.
Aside from that, the door locks are what you would have on a bedroom at your house. An infant could kick it open. While the building is secure in gates, the building is very open and passers by can see in your room. Also, if you only rent a 1 bedroom, the other bedroom is shared by a smaller common entrance that if the door gets shut, you don't have a key which happened to me. So, basically the other tenant is sharing an entrance to you with a bedroom style door lock.
The breakfast is awful, don't be fooled by their free breakfast. This place left such a bad taste in my mouth. This is not an international catered style hotel. You can do way better. STAY AWAY.

The location is excellent. The rooms are great. Lots of space. Great bathroom and bed. NO AC though andnit was hot. The fan provided only had a few settings and all were very strong and it was loud. The girls at the front weren’t very nice. The other workers were great - the handyman and cleaning ladies. The girls at the front were kinda stuck up. It actually tainted my experience of the whole stay.

Close to best restaurants

I chose this hotel due to proximity to Pujol and Quintonil (both are walking distance). It is also close to the Metro. The staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel room has a king bed and is clean. There is no AC though, but the fan is enough since Mexico City does not get very hot anyway.

Great Location, so, so Service

Awesome location for business in the heart of Polanco and very competitive rates. For the price is ok, but you get what you pay for. I arrived early in the morning and they did not have staff for the check in. The guard or guy that works at night would not let me go in and asked me to stay outside in the cold until a receptionist would show up. If they would fix the check in and check out service everything would be fine.

Freezing noise old hole

Its a shame they use the word \"suite\" to describe they're facility. The room you can lock the door, what is bizarre. Since it was a cold weather at the time of my stay there was no heater in the room so i felt like been in Alaska. The bad was so cold and hard it truly felt like sleeping in a igloo.
No shampoo or conditioner, just a small ugly and smelly soap. The towels were so old that I believe the Spanish crusade used on their first arrived.
The noise and eco in the hotel is very loud. You can hear everyone flushing toilets, walking, talking....
No way in hell I will be staying there again.

Check in was easy and accurate. Room had no air conditioning, was hot and noisy. We borrowed fans from friends. Towels were few (one towel per person) and ragged and stiff with no hand towel and no bathmat. There were no amenities such as shampoo, lotion, etc. We had plenty of hot water at all times for shower. Shower only, no bathtub. Staff was nice but spoke no English. Continental breakfast was okay, coffee was very good and hot.

Hotel is nice and in a good neighborhood. Rooms are spacious. But the first night I had no TV service, and not one room had service. Very boring when you are by yourself in a hotel room without TV ! Internet connection is poor and the negative point is that the rooms have no heater when temperatures outside were 7 degrees Celsius.

Soiled sheets, bare bathroom, old thorn towels, no amenities, not even a glass in the room, 1 soap, no shampoo, dirty floors, walls, from evening to morning, nobody at front desk..... I could go on for a half page naming thing that are wrong this hell-hole. I would not recommend it for my enemies. I have sent pics to Expedia of the room, and EXPEDIA REFUNDED MY MONEY, AND CANCELLED THE REST OF MY RESERVATION.!!!!!!

'Hotel', actually a house with bedrooms, has no sign and street is very crowded. Location is excellent, walking distance to restaurants and Polanco is a very nice neighborhood.
Room was very basic, good bed but towels condition was disappointing, and no amenities but a soap bar.
Continental breakfast was a table set up in the lobby to eat while standing up.
Staff was polite but when I tried to reach the hotel by phone in the afternoon it was impossible as person at reception was talking no stop on the phone.
Only an ok experience, and only because I did not had great expectations about the hotel.

A convinient place for a good weekend.

This place is very convenient there are many things to do around that area. The security had good information where the stores and attractions are. He can also speak English which is a plus. The pillows are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The shower is pretty amazing most of the time it takes a while for the hot water to come out but in this case it came out faster than I can grab a towel to prep for a shower. The bed is a little firm though I got enough sleep that was needed. The area is very quiet in the mornings and it is very busy at night there are bars and restaurants in the same block. I loved my one night stay here and I would go back and book a room for a weekend.

Not what we expected.

Suites Aristoteles are not 'suites', just plain rooms. For the price, I was expecting something better. First keys given did not work. No A/C. One hanger in closet. One of the light fixtures in bathroom did not work. No hot water ... barely warm water for morning shower. 'Breakfast' is less than a 'continental breakfast'.
Staff were nice, but not very professional.
The only good I can say about this mini-hotel, is the location. It is situated in a very good point within the Polanco area.

The location is great and room was very clean. Right by Mazaryk street. My hotel room was very noisy by the street. The first night was pleasant but the second night, I could not sleep because of the noise. I could hear noise from other guests rooms.
They do not have a business center. You can not print anything for work if you need to.

The exact amount of minimum for a business trip.

Good for business, specially if you are visiting customers in the Polanco area. Hotel is very simple..do not expect anything like spa, room service, laundry, conference room, front desk, etc. Place is very close to good dining.I recommend Torobi ( japanese) and Astrid y Gaston ( peruvian)..All restaurants are walking distance. ...Internet is is not the best but you can use for your minimum requirements ( check e-mail and Facebook) if you are patient.

If you are looking for a simple, clean and safe place to stay in Mexico city this is the place for you. The office of my company is located in Polanco area so this location is very convenient. It is very close to restaurants (Presidente Masarik street). I dont recommend it for families...the children will have nothing to do.

When we landed there at 9 PM we found only a security guard to attend to us- and he could neither speak nor understand a word of English. Luckily we had a Mexican driver with us to bail us out of that situation. The lady at the desk was available only after 7.30 AM and she could speak English . Once she was there , she would take care.
At First we thought we had come to a wrong place- there was no sign board displaying the name of the Hotel/ Suite. However, it was confirmed as Aristotle Suites by our driver.
There are two suites with one common toilet- luckily no one else was occupying the other suite and we had the whole place to ourselves.
Its location is very safe and central - an important consideration in Mexico.
Breakfast in the morning was satisfactory.
Upkeep is not satisfactory- the wash basin fell off at night and there was no water in the toilets in the morning.
However, overall - I would still rec this hotel

From the Hotels.com wrote up, I was under the impression that our room would have a kitchenette and/ a breakfast. When we checked in, our room was right off the lobby and pretty simple. Additionally the TV never worked the entire time.

The staff was nice, however, the hotel was clean, and the location was perfect.

The suite is very large. It looks like the pictures, Kitchenette, living room, bedroom, private bath with shower. Good water pressure. There are no amenities. No fancy body lotion, hair dryer or breakfast. But you can't beat the location, for the cost. You are right off Pdte Masaryk, and can walk to everything. If you are staying for any amount of time, the kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator and a small supply of kitchenware (plates, pot, glasses, silverware). I believe that there are 3 of these suite hotels. This one does not have an attendant to check you in after hours. You have to work with the security guard. No frills, very European style apartment, great location.

La recepcionista de la mañana tenía una actitud soberbia, se le había solicitado de favor una toalla extra cuando hicieran la limpieza de la habitación y al final no nos dejó ni una, fue hasta la noche cuando regresamos y lo notamos que le pedimos un par de toallas al vigilante y él amablemente nos las proporcionó, había poca iluminación en la habitación y la persiana que nos podía brindar que entrara luz, no servía! Pero lo que considero peor, fue que en las mañanas se escucha muy fuerte el ruido de los demás habitantes, la verdad quedé muy decepcionado y creo que todo podría mejorar.

La propiedad es linda por fuera, las habitaciones necesitan mantenimiento…lo mejor del hotel son el servicio y amabilidad de Victor y Emir 5 estrellas para ellos, su compromiso y excelente servicio.
