Exceptional location and property. The staff are trained in true hospitality and understand the expertise of service at all levels. Restaurant in the hotel is awesome. Polanco is the equivalent of the trendiest of CDMX and many nice restaurants in this area. You will not be disappointed at this boutique hotel!

I had a wonderful stay, the space was beautifully designed, very clean, and felt calm the moment I walked in. The staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. The location made everything easy, but honestly the thoughtful design details and overall atmosphere are what stood out most. Would absolutely stay again.

The property is located in a great location, but you pay a lot just for that. The stuff and service are great but the room is honestly not that nice. It has only one window that faces a wall. In my opinion, a bit depressing. The hotel is not big deal at all. So if the only thing you really care about is location and you’re willing to pay much more than all the other boutique hotels in Polanco, then this is the place for you.

The problem with this hotel is that they are not consistent with their regulations. I booked two separate stays and asked if I could leave part of my luggage behind during the 5 days I would be away. They initially agreed. When the time came to check out and just as I had to run to catch my plane, they inform me that it is against their regulation to store my luggage. They left me hanging just like that. Offered no solution.
Fortunately I found another hotel around the corner where I was able to book my next stay and they were happy to store my luggage.
Needless to stay I canceled my next stay at Las Alcobas and do not plan to stay there again and expose myself to their unprofessional inconsistency.

youre not allowed to use the bathtub with the jets outside of the hours of 9AM-9PM. if you want to take a bath after 9PM- you have to call the front desk so they can send someone to your room to turn it on....

Thoughtful small extras like good soaps, choice of newspaper, turn-down service, excellent hangars and doors opening to a full-length three-way mirror create a luxury experience at a moderate cost. First time visitor to Mexico City

The hotel is luxurious but avoids seeming pretentious because of the quality of the staff. My room was exceptionally comfortable as well as luxurious, and I appreciated the many free amenities, such as unlimited water, soft drinks, etc. from the mini-fridge. But it was the staff that made this an exceptional stay for me in a new (for me), and exciting city. Every one of my staff encounters was a genuine pleasure as well as providing expert assistance and advice on what to see and how best to navigate the city. While not inexpensive, the cost is well below the high quality of the accommodations and the service. In addition to the hotel, itself, the associated restaurant, Dulce Patria, is an exceptional dining experience that should not be missed.

Very friendly staff. Clean and sophisticated hotel. Great location, near many great restaurants. Nice park nearby. Great area for shopping. Good breakfast items (not included in continental breakfast plan, but worth the extra money). Don't miss their restaurant \"Dulce Patria\" next door!

Could have been better

Firstly, the hotel is significantly more expensive than any other option in Mexico City - and for reasons which aren't clear. The room size isn't particularly large, though well-appointed.

The included breakfast is a real disappointment, and is essentially just a fruit salad with a pastry. If you want anything else, you must pay more. This is a pretty poor breakfast when you're paying upwards of $500 per night.

The hotel also has no iron available for guests. They do offer a complementary pressing service, but the wait can be long if you need a suit or several pieces ironed. It would be better if such an expensive hotel could keep at least one iron around for guests to use.

The location is quite nice though, and the hotel is in a safe location. But it's a highly internationalized and high-end part of town, so if you want to experience the \"real\" Mexico, you'll have to take a thirty minute cab ride.

I go to Mexico City for work a few times a year and Las Alcobas continues to be my first choice. Location, quality, service and food remains excellent visit after visit.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great neighborhood

The hotel is small, 40 or 50 rooms. The most important thing is the concierge service. They arranged airport transport, helped with restaurants, and two great tours - one of the city and the other of the pyramids. It is a first class place on a friendly scale.

99.9% Flawless Hotel in a Perfect Location

Everything - literally everything - is perfect about Las Alcobas save one small thing. The beds are WAY too soft - like mashed potatoes - which is rough on a bad back. Otherwise the rooms are very comfortable, wonderful showers and tubs and toiletries; the service is 100% top notch and the food is fantastic both in the hotel and their restaurant Dulce Patria around the corner. Highly recommended - just check the bed before you unpack. :)

A special experience in a special hotel

The staff was so warm and friendly. You're instantly welcomed and the service is terrific. The hotel is in a very nice part of town with easy access to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are small but chic and modern with many little amenities. Best shower I've ever used.

Superb Hotel!

By far, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. It was truly a luxury hotel. The room was beautiful, well-designed, and finely appointed. The staff were consistently outstanding, and the restaurant (Anatol) was exceptional. The location also was wonderful, and a great base for exploring Mexico City. We highly recommend this hotel. A true gem!

So many bathroom amenities, so little time!

Booked only two nights and arrived after 8pm on a Sunday. For Monday I booked spa appointments and arranged lunch with the spa director prior to arrival. The services, staff, lunch and spa director where all outstanding. After our spa service we walked around the neighborhood and did some shopping. Enjoyed dinner outside the hotel. The free drinks and snacks were welcomed after our walks and spa treatments. The bathroom was the highlight and we never had time to even try the spa tub which looked so inviting.

Once again I had the chance to stay at this fantastic boutique hotel in Mexico City. As always, great personalized service on all fronts. Service is fast and good, everyone helpful.

More than worth the money!

Warning! Be very aware of the cement cones that dot the sidewalks! I managed to trip over one half a block from the hotel and by the time I managed to sit up, a bellman from the hotel was there with a wheelchair in order to get me back to the hotel where they had the bellman who was the \"medically\" trained one waiting for me with a huge bag of medical supplies! That is just one example of how great this hotel is! I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite when I checked in and the room was great...huge and very luxurious. Every imaginable high end store is within walking distance and there are probably 200 restaurants within a 5 block radius. Even though you are on the equivalent of Rodeo Drive, not one street sound gets in. Use a \"free\" night if you have to, but stay at this hotel! P.S. After I returned from the ABC Hospital (private, very high tech hospital in the Santa Fe area), the staff could not have more helpful and nicer...instant room service, a continuos flow of vacuum sealed ice bags(?!!!), and never ending questions re can they do anything for me! Great hotel!

Amazing btq hotel in the heart of Polanco

Stayed here for the F1 weekend and I have to say it is the best hotel I've stayed in all of Mexico City. Warm welcome at reception along with welcome juice at room's entrance and warm cookies placed inside the room.

this 35 room luxury hotel provides the true boutique experience at it's best, staff remembers your preferences, always near but not intrusive service. Loved the touches everywhere such as sterling silver sugar set at every table for breakfast, complimentary mini bar, house made custom soaps. Beautiful spa, and small practical gym.
It has the feeling of arriving home. I would say it is more for couples and business travelers.
Truly a great experience.

Five star hotel in the heart of Polanco

An absolutely amazing luxury hotel in the Polanco district of Mexico City. The staff were professional and of the highest quality. The room was wonderful - a huge, soft bed, a shower with three choices for water flow (side, top and/or wand), free soft drinks and snacks, great soap (you get to choose your soap type!) and wonderful amenities. The area is upscale and full of great shopping and food. Five stars.
