We had a very mixed experience at this hotel, starting with a room that was quite disappointing. The initial space felt outdated, had visible mold, and was generally not up to cleanliness standards. Most frustratingly, both the shower and the toilet were non-functional, which made the first part of our stay very difficult.
However, the staff—specifically Nicole and Karen—completely turned the situation around. They were professional, empathetic, and worked hard to resolve our issues, acknowledging that the maintenance failures of the first room were unacceptable.
They moved us to a renovated room that, while slightly smaller, was a massive improvement. It was cozy, attractive, and spotlessly clean, with everything working perfectly. The contrast between the two rooms was night and day.
While the older sections of the hotel clearly need work, the dedication of the staff and the quality of the updated rooms made our stay enjoyable in the end. If you book here, definitely request one of the renovated rooms!

The room is dated and not well maintained, the floors were broken and I tripped several times, there was no A/c nor heating, I was told I was gonna get towels later on my check in day but they never arrived, I was not going to use that shower anyway, it looked dirty and not functional at all, and as the cherry on top on the last night of my stay the toilet didn't flush, there was no water so I had to fill a bucket with water from the shower to clean it, because there was no one at the reception for most of the day.
I had low expectations because the price was low but nothing prepared me for that.
Avoid if possible, and if you must make it only for one night only.

Me encantó la ubicación y la atención que hubo en todo momento por el personal, el único punto a mejorar sería la ventilación de las habitaciones, al menos en la que me hospedé solamente tenían un ventilador y no había por donde circulara el aire por lo que durante el día se volvía bastante pesado soportar el calor, de ahí en más todo perfecto.

Tuve un accidente en el baño porque el piso de baldosas es altamente resbaladizo, adicionalmente tiene un escalón dentro del baño y otro más para entrar al mismo. Aunque los escalones no tienen que ver, es más peligroso porque con la caída puedes darte en la cabeza en ese filo. Adicionalmente si usas el agua caliente, al rato comienza a salir un olor terrible de la cañería. Yo soy muy tolerante pero a eso súmale la indiferencia de las personas, no recomiendo este hotel. Solo podria recomendar porque está bien ubicado.

Don't let the pictures fool you, the property is not like what its been advertised on the website. The room that we got was not not what we expected and match the pictures that was online. The room was up a flight of stairs and we have huge luggage to carry up. There was no hot water the first day we stayed there. Restroom was kinda dirty. Bed sheets seems dirty. No fridge. Towels was not provided, we had to ask. The room was not soundproof, you can basically hear everything in the whole building.

This hotel sucks! They clean the rooms every three days, you can hear everything from other rooms because the drywalls are so thin. The patio floaded when it rained and the sewer smelled. Some of the rooms do not have windows or fans, nor air-conditioning. The heat was suffocating! There are roaches and no costumer service at nights and often during the day. The courtyard is so uninviting and hot because it does have a single tree and the few plants are as dried as the Arizona desert. The whole hotel looks built out off onstruction codes. Some of the restroom are so reduced in space that one is so near the smelly trash can.

First arrive, no towels in the bathroom. The shower, either cold water or hot water will come out and could not be adjusted. Reported the issue and Maintenance was call twice but did not fix the problem. There was no air condition on any of the hotel rooms as posted in their website. The hotel is in a great location. The check in was a bit of a hassle because they didn't open the door and i had to walk to get wifi to call them. The room was very cold but had extra blankets so sleeping wasn't a problem. Overall the place is adequate.

First and foremost, I needed to change my booking after arriving at the hotel very late. The hotel was very accommodating and cooperative. There are 2 ladies working at the property that can help with anything throughout the day. They were more than happy to do my laundry at a moment's notice. The room was comfortable and clean. This is in the best location in Mexico City in Polanco. This neighborhood is a mix of Mexican and European vibes with parks and amazing architecture everywhere. Overall considering the great price I will rate this hotel 10/10.

The \"hotel\" (its a repurposed home, really) is in a great neighbour hood in Polanco, near museums art galleries great restaurants etc. However the staff that is present at the hotel speak no english, and the manager (who myself and a friend spoke to over the phone) said he would be present the next morning after we arrived never came. The biggest issue I had with this space was that the doors are paper thin; I was woken up every single morning of my stay by other the staff working and sweeping the floors (the floors are made of some kind of material where everything reverberates off of them very loudly) until I purchased some ear plugs. The bed in my rook was very soft and comfortable however. Nice and cold at night as well.

Location is fantastic; but in my stay, this is what seems to be a garage or warehouse; everything falling down. Terrible bed, and bathroom. Air 'conditioner' is a circulator placed on top of a chair. Tables are plastic picnic. To be honest, $50us including taxes is way too much for this.

It is a great place to stay very good location and it was comfortable it is an old place so you can hear bathroom noises and the bathroom ceiling is a bit dirty but other than that i do recomended it is close to alot pf cool places. The cleaning lady was very nice and the atention we got feom the owner or person in charge was great. Order flowers for my gf and they were on the table when we arrived... i give them A+ and I will come back.

Fantastic location - great stay!!
This was a great experience! The hosts made it easy to check in upon arrival. The 3 bedroom unit I had was super quiet and had access to a rooftop patio - very peaceful with sounds of a resting city at night. Lots of beautiful natural light during the day and a bit of a modern feel to the place which tempered the sparse but very adequate furnishings. The neighborhood and location could not have been better! Everything was walkable but you were still off a quiet street - just perfect. I was in town for a family member's surgery but I will be back to explore the city and spend some time to relax - and I will definitely look up and stay here again. Thank you, guys.

La ubicación está muy bien y la comunicación vía WhatsApp, pero llegar al hotel realmente no fue una nueva experiencia, la limpieza deja mucho que desear, está súper descuidado todo el hotel y le falta mantenimiento, en el también te de la terraza tristemente solo hay macetas con plantas muertas y una de plástico decolorada, el servicio de las personas que lo atienden deja mucho que desear, getonas y hasta parecían molestas cuando les pedí una toalla para manos (por qué no había en la habitación, ni jabón para manos) las sábanas de la cama rotas y más delgadas y viejas, igualmente en otro momento pasamos frío la primera noche por qué solo había una frazada mini, para una cama Queen y no me quería dar otra cobija, hasta que le dije que en verdad tenía frío. Muy mala experiencia la verdad y nada lo recomiendo. Yo ya me había hospedado en otro hotel Sócrates antes y todo Ok. Pero esta experiencia fue realmente mala.

Creo que es un fraude por parte de Expedia promover esta propiedad como Hotel, es en realidad una Casa de Huéspedes. Es como una casa a la que le construyeron una cuartearía en el patio trasero.

El acceso es muy facil, esta centrico y la zona es tranquila! No nos dijeron que habia un segundo baño y tuvimos problemas por ser compartido ya que tardaban mucho. Mi vuelo se retrasó por lo que mi conexión en Monterrey no me iba hacer posible yo a llegar a tiempo el día 13 de mayo a el hotel por lo que vivaaerobus me lo cambió para llegar el día 14 a las 7: 30 posteriormente me comuniqué con el hotel para hacerle saber de lo acontecido y le comenté que si podían cambiarme mi llegada para mañana ; Alonque le dijeron que si era posible sólo que tenía que pagar 400 pesos más de diferencia por que no había de habitaciones de 800 solo de 1 200 a lo que yo respondo que sí que no había problema ; y accedí.
A lo que al otro día me percaté que Fernanda me había mandado un correo diciendo que ya había visto mi vaso de nuevo y que no había sido posible el cambio de habitación y que tenía que pagar el día completo . Me trate de comunicar de nuevo con ellos pero ya no a mí ni a expidea le contestan
