Needs more staff and proper check in service. Waited an hour because they never provided the right booking number and in the evening had to wait 45 minutes for a drink. Manager and other employee just stood there watching while one girl that was working to help. Never offered to help anyone. Washer and dryers were broken. Wouldn’t recommend even with the great location.

This area is very convenient to the train station, shopping stores, and eateries. However, it is not good for families that want peace and quiet. We experienced no hot water in the morning of our last day stay and the staff on duty were not very helpful.

The room was very good. It was clean, spacious and washrooms were also good with necessary amenities. But, the checkin took so long that we had to be in a que for almost an hour or more. I think it's because of the new year but still they shoukd have done necessary arrangements. Later at night, the heater for room was not working and that too in winter and snow. We asked them if they could do anything about it, but their reply was that there are no rooms available, so they can't do anything. I felt like it was not at all right.

Well, the stuff that I spoke to were nice the Hotel is really rundown. The heating was not working in my room so we asked for another room which they gave us. However, the second room the heating in the bathroom was working but the heating in the bedroom was not and the lock was not working from the inside.

The location was excellent and the place itself was comfortable, but the coffee was terrible. The customer service was also very poor. It feels like the hotel is run by people who don’t want to be there. I understand the self-service concept, but sometimes their own system doesn’t work and someone needs to assist. The least you expect is a friendly attitude, not to be treated as if you’re a burden. On top of that, my plan included breakfast, but it didn’t show in their system, so I had to pay extra.

I’ve stayed here approximately 30 times in the past 4 years and never had any problems except for this stay. People were screaming and slamming doors well after quiet hours (until midnight- 01:00 am) . They were yelling and fighting in the courtyard late into the night. We stayed for three nights and each night progressively got louder and later. I do hope the management get a hold of these issues.

No sound proofing, you could hear every loud conversation from rude guests walking down the hallways at 11.30pm, and big groups of children running and shouting late at night. Also every hallway door slams very loudly and it is enough to wake you up when someone is coming or going late at night or early in the morning. Don't bother with breakfast, everything is covered in flies and the price is too high for such a limited selection.

Hotel is ok if you really want a cheap hotel near Vienna’s central train station. Somewhat unclean, check in took a long time, bed and especially the pillows were very uncomfortable, towels were awful, and loud noises could be heard in the room. Location is ideal near the train station.

Avoid this at all cost

Don't let the price deceive you, you are just wasting money on a place you absolutely hate and ruin your trip to Vienna.
We booked a room and we can't even stay on the first night - we need to look for another hotel at 11 pm, and I bet we are not the only ones. The room was disgusting. Staff, rude. Hygiene, similar to prison. No one is cleaning the room. Their ventilation fan even had mould in it and was not usable.

Critics may say it is only a hostel, but I have never been in a hostel worse than this.

The staff there was reluctant to help me out with anything.

I remember the guy, Hasan, being reluctant to answer any questions I had during the check-in, and even showing an annoyed face when I asked for a pen. Worst hostel experience.

Was very near to central station which made it easy to get to Vienna airport. Didnt like the check in process. Couldnt find a booking reference, one member of staff didnt want to help. Second member of staff found my booking reference then sent me back to the self check.in which was long winded when it was late with two tired kids.

I specifically booked this hotel because it advertised parking facilities. But when I arrived the receptionist informed me that all parking spaces were taken and that I should have booked and paid in advance. This information was not stated anywhere during the booking process, and I feel this was misleading.

When I entered my room, I was extremely disappointed to find that the beds had not been made. The pillows had no cases, and the mattresses had no sheets, which left me in the position of having to make my own bed when I came from a really exhausting 8 hour roadtrip. This is unacceptable, as I paid for a room that should have been prepared and ready for my stay.

( not for families) Did not like that windows do not open ( locked) and the place is super hot , also we had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves because the sheets were folded on the table. Also there are punch of people standing on front of the entrance smoking cigarettes and weed ( though the place is family friendly and had to pass in the middle of smoking and drinking people.,, the good part is that there is kids corner at least where my kids and wife could wait for the car to arrive.

My group of 5 stayed here for one night and when we checked in our beds were not made, it was very hot in the room and the beds were very hard. Later in the night when we came back from dinner, one person in my group went to shower and the drain was not working in the bathroom so the bathroom was flooded. We went to the front desk and they were helpful to fix the issue which was very kind. At night it was very loud out out windows and also hot in the room. The pillows were also very bad and some people said their beds were very hard. Overall it was an okay experience for one night but I would not recommend staying here if you can avoid it.

It is not a hotel it’s a hostel. If you are travelling with family please don’t stay at this property. Staff is like robots. No fans and air circulation in the room. It’s like a jail room. Furniture is so tightly placed there is no circulation space at all. Only one plus point is that it is near to the Wein central train station that’s it.

The very first thing we liked about this hotel is the accessibility to transportation.
Its like 5mins walk to main trainstation where theres a lot of dine in places and shops to get your needs oj your stay plus 18 mins to airport, a family friendly hotel, very affordable and suits for backpackers travellers

Very poor experience here, room is not well maintained. The cable port on the bedside doesn’t work, quite an awful experience.

The bathrooms are so untidy, literally even places in remote areas could turn out to be better. The water doesn’t drain, nor the walls are cleaned with black moss on the roof as there is not ventilation or exhaust.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, I did spend a couple of nights without any proper sleep. I not only wasted my money here, but couldn’t not even make most of my trip here.

Not to mention the images not necessarily say that the accommodation looks like this from the inside.

Forget about this place being OK to stay, this place is far from liveable.

Reception staff rude & unhelpful. The whole hotel itself was filthy and noisy. Door slamming all hours. On our arrival, we were given a room with 2 single beds & a bunk bed, which is bot what we booked. The room was so filthy and small, you could barely walk around the bed or in any part of the room, it was so cramped. A fee minutes later, a froup of 4 Asian ladies opened our door with their own key, and as it so happened they were given same room. One of the ladies and myself went down to reception, and the receptionist manager said the rom was right and that we were to share the room. We told the receptionist that we book our own private room & so dis the others. Receptionist finally admitted she made a mistake and gave us our own room, and the others stayed in that room. Room had nothing in it, apart from the bath towel, not even the very basic a hotel rom should have line a kettle to make coffee. Would never stay in this hotel again, and would definitely highly not recommend it at all. Worst hotel ever we have stayed at, and it was the worst ever experience we had in a hotel. The hotel is so basic and filthy that I would even stay there again, even if it is for free.

The a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof is conveniently located near the Vienna main train station, making travel to other parts of Europe a breeze. Unfortunately, if you're interested in seeing other parts of the city, there's a lot of walking involved or taking the tram to get to your destination.

Strange place. There’s college kids drinking in the lobby late at night playing loud music so you hear them in the hallways late. But there’s also families that stay there so you hear kids being loud in the hallways in early morning. Check out is 11am but the housekeepers came into my room 5 times starting at 830 trying to get me to hurry up and leave so they could clean. It was the same woman 3 of the times.

This hostel/hotel won for the worst stay of one night ive ever had after 25 years of travel. We were staying in a \"family room\" on the 1st floor, beside us across from us and all around us were drunk 18 year olds who apparently rented the rooms to party thru the night. After our 7 hour train journey from Krakow we just wanted to get a decent sleep with our 2 year old after we got on the train to Venice the next day. We slept 3-4 hours. Contacted security once and they had a \"talk\" with them, it lasted five minutes. Security nor the staff didn't come up to check the floor again. They were bouncing balls off of the wall by our bed, our room shook many times.

If they offered to PAY us 500eu to stay there again we would decline.

We couldn't sleep all night because the group of highschoolers on their class trip kept smashing doors, knocking on doors, and brawling all night in the corridor. Despite asking staff to have a word with them, nothing was done. Be aware that this is used predominantly by students who show no respect to other guests. I will certainly not return.

This hostel is super close to the train station. This hotel is understaffed, but those that are working are fantastic. The room was not ready at 3pm. Rather 4pm because of staffing issues.
We liked that we could walk to the train station and it was super quiet area.
Rent a fan for 20 euro, it made a big difference and when you return the fan you get 20 euro back.

Its a sauna, plz dont stay here in the hot months. The rooms get heated and there is no airflow. Becomes very hard to fall asleep, the windows dont open only tilt and there is nothing you can do about it.

The guest kitchen was not functional and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring hostel throughout the night.

Got there around 2am after a long train ride and got our key and went up to our room and someone else was in there. Went back down and was told that they didn’t have any rooms available and had to sleep in a hostel room with others. Mind you we have had this booked far in advance. Great for one night stay near the train station, there is everything you need for a quick stop over. For a longer stay, I would recommend something else, there is no air conditioning in the room. It was extremely warm and even it was already cooler outside- the window doesn’t open fully so you can’t let the cool air in.

The elevators also take forever to get up and down since there is all the time someone coming down or going up and stopping at every single floor.
