The location was perfect. If you cross the street and then the train station is right there. The room felt cozy and was very clean. There’s also a coffee machine on the ground floor where you can enjoy a free espresso. The hotel was so wonderful that I only have a tiny, silly request --- I wish I could get an Austrian café latte from the machine!

This hotel is well located next to a train station and a little out of the main Center. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by and walking distance to the Belvedere. Rooms were small but efficient and clean. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and convenience.

Staff are good, room is very basic which you expect for the cost but the bed is hard and there is no fridge so can’t keep a few drinks cold. Sound proofing seemed good as I didn’t find any noise from the train station made it in to the room. Basic room has a bed and a shower so ok for one or two night stays

The new (to me) free coffee---and it was good coffee, not swill or Keurig---in the lobby was very nice. And there was courteous help in storing my luggage for the afternoon after i checked out. And yes, the room was spotless. Thanks!

This did not feel like your average Ibis hotel. This felt like an upgraded version of Ibis. I think it will now be my hotel of choice whenever visiting Vienna! The train station is right across the street, which has a direct line to the airport. The area is very safe and clean. The rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly!

One county late at night and leaving to another late at night all via train) but no noise whatsoever. Would definitely recommend/stay again. Was very easy to get around and we booked purely for the convience of being right next to International station. Only downside no kettle in room and no milk in the tea area downstairs. Excellent staff.

This was an excellent hotel in Vienna. It was close to the train station, with all the shopping and restaurants there. It was a short walk to the historic area. The D tram station was right around the corner, which would take you from the vineyards on the outskirts of Vienna through the heart of town.

Hotel was fine. I accidentally left a shirt on the hangar at the property but called them the same day, as well as came back to their front desk the next day and the following day. They claimed they never found it. The cleaning staff must have just thrown it out. Not very professional.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is useful. However, there are very few restaurants nearby which is surprising as there are so many hotels and office blocks in the area. If you want to walk into the city centre, it is a about a 30-40 minute walk. You can get public transport though. The breakfast is very good and good value for money.

We had a great stay at Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficiently run—everything you’d expect from the Ibis brand and more. Our room was bright, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great bed that made for a restful night after exploring the city.

The location is excellent—right next to the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Vienna or catching early trains. Despite being in such a central spot, the hotel was quiet and peaceful inside.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We really appreciated their warm hospitality and the reliable service throughout our stay.

Whilst the hotel was very near the
HBF station. Clean, friendly and very comfortable with excellent breakfast but there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and none elsewhere in the hotel despite the TV \"brochure\" saying 24/7 drink facilities. Not even any water. Poor show, wont be going back.

Close to the Hbf!

We stayed at an Ibis in Amsterdam in 2022 and had a nice experience there. When we were planning our trip to Vienna, we saw this location near the train station and were sold. We wanted to be near a train station since we were coming in from Munich and knew we were going to utilize the metro/trains. The location was so convenient and in a really nice area, despite it being across the the street from the hbf. Usually hotels in these areas can be a little seedy, but this was very nice. Vienna overall is very clean and nice city for being so big!
The rooms are small but they have everything you need. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but it was ok. There's an Aldi downstairs across the way and some nice restaurants. It's a 2 min walk to the train station and metros. Price point was good, we stayed a whole week. There's a bar and restaurant as well, but we didn't use it.
Would recommend if you want to be near a train station, which also happens to have a lot of restaurants and shops if you're in a pinch!
