Should have kept the room for disabilities for persons with disabilities. It was awkward being in that room thinking me being in there takes away from someone who might truly need the room. Otherwise the convenient location and proximity to the central bus and train station was nice.

Too much cigarette smoke in lobby

Booked 2 suites and paid extra specifically for king sized beds. One of the suites on the top floor was a small “full” bed. We were able to switch to another room but it was smaller and then after 2 nights we had to move to a suite that we originally booked. No compensation was offered. We would have liked something like breakfast or a credit for the restaurant.
Also the lobby is Always smoky because the employees sit outside with the door open and smoke behind the bar.

Initially it was good. The lady who assisted is was great. The room was a bit spacious and has air conditioning for the summer but the bathroom was split in half. There would have been no issue but there was no sink in the toilet section. We would have to go to the shower section to wash our hands. The door to the bathroom was a frosted glass sliding door that does not close completely.
We requested for our room to be cleaned but it was not cleaned properly. Only the towels were replaced, the garbage can cleaned and bed done. The coffee tables and tables were not cleaned. Coffee and tea were not refilled and cups were not replaced. Also, my friend asked for some ice and was rudely advised that the bar was closed and there is no ice he can give. I don't think I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Very close to the train station. Close to restaurants. Hotel has a lift/elevator. They will store luggage for you.
Room was small once the sofa bed was opened. Beds were comfortable, but pillows were too bad. Decent for a couple nights stay.

I would stay at the Hotel Zeitgeist again and recommend it to friends. The hotel is located near public transit and close to restaurants. Being eco-friendly is important to me as well. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food. The laundry room available to guests hit at the right time for our 2 week trip.

This is a simple hotel near main train station. It is also near Tram D that will bring you to Vienna main attractions. Not many eatery nearby. You might want to walk to nearby metro stations or main train station for food. The hotel restaurant has nice food. The staffs are friendly. The room is small, clean and acceptable. No Kettle, slipper, shower cap provided. The surrounding is quiet and is located in residential area. Nearby has many hotels too. There is a supermarket next door.

Very friendly staff capable of several languages. Outstanding fitness areas both inside (machines, dumbbells, etc) and outside (e.g. bars for pull-ups). Cool vibe. Room was spacious and well-designed. For example, desk had 2 mainland European outlets, 1 UK outlet, and 1 US outlet. 2 blocks from intercity train station, main U1 subway, and several street cars made getting around city convenient. While surrounding area wasn’t touristy, always felt safe at all times of day and night. Didn’t eat at restaurant due to my schedule, but breakfast always smelled good when I passed in my way out each morning. Spent 5 nights. Was there mostly for work plus a day of vacation. Would definitely stay again if in Vienna.

Use the free bike hire!

The hotel was perfectly positioned for us as it was just up from the train station - this made it easier to catch trains for onward journeys and subways to parts of Vienna that were further away. It is a bit of a walk from the ‘main’ part of Vienna though. What made this hotel particularly great for us was the free bike hire. We could easily get around for free and see much more of Vienna than we could have done on foot. They were brilliant! Room was comfortable and clean, we were on the top floor and it was so quiet. Staff were really lovely. Overall a great stay.

Excellent location for the station as we travelled to Vienna by train. Also very easy to get to the airport for our departure.
We booked and had confirmation of a king size bed, but we actually were given a room with a queen size bed.
Very spacious room (suite). I liked the separate toilet but it should have had a hand basin in it. I didn't like the room number and direction signs in the hotel, (made to look like chalk marks on blackboard). They made the hotel look cheap. Also the display of empty wine bottles in reception looked dreadful and again, cheap and nasty.

We would definitely revisit the property.

We had a whirlwind of Europe and stay at the brand name four stars to locally managed and owned property. We highly recommend the property. It is easily accessible to the main train station and subway. It is a mile away from the landmarks. There is a neighborhood market doors down.

The staff is super friendly and prompt to follow up on the request, lucky owner has a such great team. The room is spacious for a family of four with two teenagers. The sanctuary room and sauna next to the gym is great addition during the winter season. It has a nice courtyard to wind down the day. The laundry machine is small but does its jobs. The management should consider providing and loaning the Drying rack as another property that we stay at Athen has.

Only 2 pillows in the room. Would have been nice to have more pillows.

No screen for the shower area leading to having a very wet floor towel.

Nice design hotel well-placed for the station

We stayed here one night to get an early train the next morning. It was a lovely hotel, great design. We paid extra for a 'resort view' but basically we had a window out onto the street. Our shower was a bit blocked too. But the bed was comfortable, the fittings high-quality and it had more character than most rooms of this price. We didn't eat here, nor use the spa as we didn't have time. The front desk was a bit \"brisk\" but overall, we were very happy with our stay and it looked like the best option of the station hotels.

Good hotel near to main station. quick metro ride to tourist areas. Breakfast was good at the weekend but on Monday morning it was all pre-prepared and not so good, poor value in fact. Don't know if this is normal or not and did not have time to ask!

The good: we stayed in a suite which was well appointed and comfortable. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch, and compared to the leading competing hotel locally, Motel One, the rooms large.

The Bad..Property had a inner atrium and although it closed at 10pm, the hotel staff did not enforce the closure and people were partying in the courtyard well past midnight. The noise was excessive, then around 4am the maintenance staff was out moving the courtyard furniture back to their intended places and they slid the furniture across the pavement instead of picking it up!? All in all this night spoiled me on the hotel which was otherwise decent.. oh, except none of the staff wore masks, and this led 90% of guests not to as well? This was odd because masks were being worn all over town and in other hotels at a very high level of participation??
My brother in law stayed at a competing hotel 900’ away, and all the employees wore masks, and the guests too, unless they were eating or drinking.
Lastly, our room had 6 large dormer windows with a view of nothing. If you prefer a view, and the smaller room size is a non issue, stay at Motel One, they had a nice view of the area, which is a convenient location for transportation but not too scenic. That said, I did take my morning run over to Belvedere Palace it was fairly close. 2

I'd give Hotel Zeitgeist SIX stars across the board if I could. Beautiful, comfortable, and superb in every way, but it was the PEOPLE working there that really did it for me. It's one thing to bo well-served by members of a hotel staff, but it's something else entirely when you ARE made HAPPY just to interact with them. Couldn't have been any happier!

The layout of the suite is great. Even with the pull out bed (which was ready made up with sheets and duvet), it did not feel cramped.
The bathroom toiletries were in an eco- friendly dispenser.

The shower and sink are a separate place and there is a door that gives privacy from whoever is in the bed, but it is completely open to the corridor area. Would have been somewhat uncomfortable if I was sharing the room with someone else.

Good: location, it takes 5 mins by walk to the Vienna Central Station. Restaurants (5 mins walk) & supermarket nearby. Front desk: some of the staff were simile and welcome when they saw guests walked in and out, some didn't... Room: spacious & cleanliness. Wifi: fast & stable. Neighbourhood: quiet. Facilities: gym (but not many equipment and all are in a room, I felt I was ground in a room. Sauna. 1 Washing & 1 dryer machines (free of charge). Bad: I was mislead by the front desk that I didn't have a free bottle of water in my room everyday. I asked another lady in the next day, I had a free bottle of water in my room. The lady in the 1st day didn't check the system before answering my query. Bed: I got a King bed, which means 2 twin beds combine together. It had a thin mattress to cover these 2 beds, I couldn't sleep on the middle of the bed, which had a gap

Near to the metro station. Only 5 mins walk You can go anywhere from here by train. Ask people around they will help you. At the station you will have a small mall where u can find alot of cafes and also starbucks.

Good convenient location next to the main station and close to the bus and metro links. As for the hotel itself, I really can't think of anything negative to say about it. We had a room with a terrace with table and chairs which made the stay more pleasurable. The staff were also very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again on any return visit to Vienna.
