The stunning hotel is located right at the port. Easy access to the main area of Sorento and the staff were helpful in providing information on where to go and what we were looking for. Cocktails at the bar were delicious and small touches in the room were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again!

This hotel is around the corner and just steps away from the ferry. Super convenient yet tucked away for quiet evenings. Staff is extremely helpful, especially Donnatella. She remembered our mames and preferences for breakfast. Which was absolutely fabulous served on terrace overlooking waterfront. There is even sandy beach area to swim. Highly recommended ☆♡☆♡☆

Including going back to naples I would deftineity stay here again if we come back to sorrento Loved it

THE absolute best accommodations in Sorrento- literal steps to the ferry, and closest to the sea. The breakfast (it’s included is delicious, and served on the beautiful terrace). Definitely plan on being back there for a cocktail around sunset time.

We chose Marina Piccola 73 for 2 nights as we planned to spend a daytrip to Capri and get a taste of Sorrento. The location was great because the private boats to Capri leave from the marina in front of the hotel. It is a boutique hotel with a beautiful terrace and a couple of very nice restaurants nearby. The walk to the center is manegeable specially with a lift that takes you to the commercial center of Sorrento which is busier and noisier. Coming back at night may be a little intimidating because the streets are dark and empty but is was very safe.

Absolutely loved our stay at Marina Piccola 73!! To start they communicated with me as soon as I made a reservation, offering services and providing additional details. Our flight was delayed, we were able to have an email conversation regarding a possible late arrival which calmed our anxiety regarding travel mishaps. Mary was there to greet us with a smile before we even entered the lobby. She walked us to our rooms and ensured our expectation were met. The rooms were lovely with a small balcony and a stunning view of the marina. Breakfast service on the terrace was a great way to start the day. Donatella was a fabulous hostess, and the breakfast selections were plentiful and tasty. The terrace provided a spectacular view of the water. The service, location and room comfort made this a perfect place start to our vacation in Italy. I recommend Marina Piccola for anyone vacationing in Sorrento.

Quintessentially Quirky with AMAZING staff
This is certainly a stay like no other. If you are fed up with soulless commercial hotel chains then this is the hotel for you.every room is different and The Tower room is unique! Nestled below the cliffs, it makes the perfect location for those using Sorrento as a cruising base to Capri, Positano, Amalfi etc. it is not a hotel for those with mobility issues- possibly the slowest lift in Europe and alternative is outside walkway. Breakfast is in keeping with the rest of the hotel- not like any other experience you’ll have with a cake stand of home made delights served to your table. As for the staff, not enough superlatives! Exactly what staff should be and then some!!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Marina Piccola and it was such a memorable experience. The location of the hotel is beautiful overlooking the Marina. It was quiet yet a short walking distance to the main, busy piazza. We booked their standard room as they were fully booked for new years and it was clean and stylish. Their bathroom was renovated and their shower had strong water pressure. Their rooftop breakfast was delicious and their chef is a sweetheart. Alice helped us get last minute reservations at a local restaurant for NYE and her and her mother responded immediately to all of our requests and questions. I would highly recommend this hotel. One advice: rent a small, compact car if you decide to rent a car. The road that leads to their garage is narrow but a compact car will also serve you well in the hilly narrow road of the entire region (Positano and Amalfi Coast).

We highly recommend staying here…the property is right on the water/port side. Excellent views and excellent service. We were made to feel like family. They also accommodated dietary restrictions/allergies with advanced notice…the breakfast was tasty and plentiful (fresh fruit, juices, breads and pastries, plus hot meals (eggs, etc) if desired. They also were happy to help organize any tours or transportation needs or general recommendations for things to do or places to eat around town.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The building has been in the owner’s family for hundreds of years, only recently becoming a hotel, so the story behind it is quite interesting. Even though the building is very old, everything feels very new, clean and modern. Definitely one of the most unique and stylish hotels I’ve stayed in. We got to stay in the tower, which has been converted into a cool loft. The views of the sea were beautiful, and the rooftop bar was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place filled our senses and pleased our souls …from the beautiful view from our balcony to the eclectic, modern and antique furniture to rooftop terrace, with lounge chairs snd sofas. The owners, Roberta, Alice and her sister were constantly working to improve our stay. Benedetta delighted us with her nightly “snacks” and aperitivos at sunset and Donatella made us melt in the mouth, ever changing breakfasts which were served like afternoon teas as they are not permitted buffets due to covid. So much to choose from in the morning …fresh fruit, yoghurt, selection of homemade jams (grazie Bennie) assortment of meats, cheeses, breads and rolls. Also mini quiches, pizzas and sweet pasties.

This place is like a family run B&B and a Boutique Hotel rolled into one fantastic little gem on the Amalfi coast. The owner and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. They arranged special extras in the room upon arrival, made fantastic dinner recommendations and booked for us car services and tours that we wanted during our stay. The room is spacious and very nice. The best part is the terrace with its breathtaking view of the pier and mount Vesuvius in the distance. You can have drinks and light meals up there at night as well as coffee and breakfast. It’s location is perfect for getting the elevator up to the plaza and of course close to the beach and a nice restaurant and little shopping area a hundred feet away. Nothing but great things to say about Marina Piccola 73. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay. Highly recommend Marina Piccolo 73. Staff met our car hire as soon as we pulled up, helped with luggage, checked T’s in and gave us tour of facility and room. Suggested restaurants, gave us map and directions. Water front where ferries leave and easy walk to everything. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Asked at check in what we lined for breakfast and morning staff had a wonderful feast on rooftop terrace with things we said we liked and more! Breakfast and staff were amazing!

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at Marina Piccola in October. Our room was beautiful with views right across the harbour, the breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive; their recommendations of restaurants was second to none and we came away really impressed every night! Loved this B&B! I've never stayed in anything like this. The woman on the night shift at check-in was so helpful. She helped us drive ALONG THE WATER on the narrow path to the complimentary parking area. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the office while we did a day trip to Capri. Lovely view, outstanding breakfast. This hotel is off the beaten path and is amazingly quiet. The rooms are large and well appointed. To get to the main part of Sorrento you have a bit of a walk to an elevator that takes you up the hill. This hotel is located near the water. The breakfast was the best part.

Staff was exceptional throughout the stay, very helpful when parking the car (be aware your car must be somewhat compact to negotiate the turn into the parking area). Nice touches throughout the hotel. There is a lift about 2-300m from the hotel if you want to avoid the long flights of stairs to the upper downtown area. Highly recommended.

What a little hidden gem next to the sea! The accommodations and the location were perfect for us. The service and breakfast was delightful! All of the staff were great! Donatella was a real delight to be around. You can get a good drink at the hotel, good food at all of the restaurants in the Marina. Go to Don Pedros for the lobster and spaghetti for a romantic dinner family owned restaurant. Had risotto with clams and mussels and the best garlic bread at one of the near by ristorante’s with a white canopy. Caught the ferry to Capri and Positano so easy and affordable. The town of Sorrento was super charming too! Loved the roof top terrace and the tower room!

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views overlooking marina piccola, mount Vesuvius and Naples. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast on the sun terrace was superb. Great choice of cereals, yogurt, pastries, fruit, eggs and bacon all served with a smile by Donatella who worked so hard, was always cheerful and willing to share her knowledge of the area. She is a real asset to the hotel. 2 minute walk for the boat trips to Capri etc and near to the centre but it’s s steep walk not for those with walking difficulties although there is a lift further along the sea front. We have spent the best 5 days at this hotel. The rooms are large and very clean. The bed is so comfortable that it was hard to get out of but get up we did to sample the breakfast fare on offer. Donatella, who served us every day, was so happy and jolly. She was the first in a long line of very very friendly people we met during the rest of the day. I cannot recommend this hotel, its location and the people highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at Marina Piccola for making our break one of the best we have had (and we have had a few!)

OMG! We LOVED this little boutique hotel, tucked into a small area at the base of the hill, and with a beach leading into the water of the marina - we stayed for 3 nights, and would open our windows and listen to the water gently lapping on the sand. The renovated hotel is simple and very comfortable in its furnishings, and boasts a fabulous roof terrace from which you can watch the marina, and the fantastic views out across the bay to Naples, Mt Vesuvius and beyond...oh, and breakfast and evening drinks are served on the terrace.
A superb base for day trips to the surrounding Amalfi Coast, and the family and staff that own and manage the hotel were delightfully helpful, and incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here who is looking for something a little peaceful in the bustling Sorrento town.
