It was a quick business trip, so no time to use the facilities.
The room was indeed snug but perfectly adequate for one night. The lighting is very low, so difficult to put make up on etc. great iron, hairdryer etc.
The main issue was the bathroom, which smelt mouldy, which was very disappointing.

The room was very elegant and clean, the bed was very comfortable & pillows perfect. Only downside was no bubble bath and the room was very hot which caused me to wake up at 4am but apart from that I was very happy with the hotel

I have booked for my daughter's spl day. However the room which was reserved was not available, so i was asked to chsnge to other hotel branch of crazy beer. It was stressful. I paid premium price but there was no spa, sauna in that hotel. The room was very small as compared to this hotel and there were no english restaurants. Only thai. Iverall it was nit pleasant experience. I want my regund pls

The room was very small, it was a snug room, but goodness it was tiny!my husband couldn’t even walk around the bed as the ceiling was slanted.
Exposed wiring in the bathroom. Definitely didn’t live up to all the hype.

Amazing stay at Crazy Bear for my boyfriend’s birthday. I booked the decadent room, which was amazing- so spacious and the decor was gorgeous. Very clean, with everything we needed.

Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a flawless stay, room service was spot on- breakfast good, with beautiful surroundings in the restaurants. Reception staff super helpful too

Staff was very nice. Hotel looks like a bordello with plush velvet walls including the bathroom ceiling! We had a leak so we were in two different rooms. Both VERY dark. Not enough lighting to put on make up. I am 5.5 and could not see in bathroom mirrors. Mounted too high.

Wonderful room as always, love everything about staying here. But, the hotels biggest asset is its front desk staff. This time I had the pleasure of checking in with Nicole. Along with Chloe and Annabelle previously she is amazing. May be a few weeks before I am back but will always aim to stay here if possible. Thank you guys.

We thought the room was lovely at first, but upon close inspection it wasnt cleaned very well. Cobwebs above the toilet, sust, cobwebs in shower room left side on the mirror. Could do with a good spring clean. The r iself was nice but the noise of guests coming in and out to smoke was so distracting. One guest even knocked on our door and run away. The smell of cigarettes was heavily smelt throughout the hallways and this come in under our door so was not pleasant at all. I did complain to reception, the friendly man did offer us room 19 but that was literally opposite our room, so the smell of cigarettes and the noise would have been the same, plus room 19 had no working TV. Therefore the best we could was stay in room 18.
We did call for room service on Saturday evening but no one answered the phone.

This is a uniquely beautiful hotel. The staff, rooms and restaurants are all fantastic. We only had one issue and that was the water never got hot in Bath or shower room, it was only tepid warm- but we put that down to age of the building and amount of rooms probably using facilities at the same time. It did not dampen our stay and as forgot to mention it to reception they didn’t have the ability to fix the problem. I would definitly recommend this hotel.

Lavish and perfect service or tho it was cold on arrival and bedroom shower and room itself was freezing. They sent maintenance to fix and gave us two heaters.
Food was excellent but facilities need better advertisement. Outside pool in January should be noted as heated to stop from freezing over. Not actually usable unless you entend on doing lengths.
Over all experience was great. Needs some improvement but we would definitely stay again due to good food, drinks and service.

We booked to stay at this hotel purely for the experience and bath at the end of the bed ect so we arrived at the hotel to be told we don’t have one of these rooms and that we’re on a third floor with a en-suite which you struggle to turn around in has no door on it and is just not suitable for a adult.
The room you bang in to one another moving around in there that’s honestly how cramped it is and your door locked internally don’t mean it’s locked we had some one walk in our room at around 2am or gone which petrified my wife and the reception staff were not interested in any of these issues.
The only good bit is the bar area in my opinion bar staff friendly but the place felt like it was undergoing some sort of renovation it just didn’t feel finished in spots pool area mainly the money you spend at this place it is no where near worth the money I’m definitely not going to be a returning customer we had a hotel the week before that was amazing for half the money and all staff were amazing.
I’m honestly shocked they’ve not refunded me or offered any kind of apology for what we went through.

However The room was clean but sadly as there appears you couldn’t open the window the wet room and bath in bedroom made it smell bit damp. Which I’m sure could be rectified by room fragrances or air flow.
sad the Turkish seating area around the pool has been removed and the Thai restaurant moved across.

Room wasn’t cleaned very good. Found an ear plug under pillow and one on floor by curtains. Dust around corners of room. Aircon not working room very hot. No cold water only hot running in bath hand basin dripped water out. Loud bangs before 7am to work men repairing things in pool area. Was not impressed. This unfortunately is the worst review I’ve ever had to do. I hope things can get better for this hotel. Dinner in Thai restaurant was very tasty and cocktails from bar was very good also.

The room was very nice and looked great with the mirrors and interior. It was a great birthday location and relaxing. Disappointed with the mirror damage I saw upon arrival and will prefer a room with no damage to justify the money I spent. The staff were friendly especially the waiters in the restaurant. Food was nice and service was great. Breakfast should have been included with my stay but still overall a good experience. Will definitely stay there again and try more of the facilities.

Property has great potential and is very unique. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by the lack of cleanliness of the room the lack of privacy and the room was very worn and in need of repair not Walmart you would expect for the decadent room and for the price. This was all reported during our stay and no alternatives offered, bit of a shame for our anniversary to be honest. No working coffee making facilities and no tea bags in the room either

We loved our time at crazy bear beaconsfield , we found it was a little sneaky how the waiter offered us bread while we waited for our steak and then we get the bill and found out this cost £6 but we was inder the impression it was a good will gesture as the main would take so long , also we found the service charging was quite high especially for 2 drinks . As for the room though it was an amazing experience which we would love to do again it made our 12th wedding anniversary feel that extra special . The staff were very well mannered and made us feel comforable so thank you for a lovely stay at tour hotel

It was very nice very erratically pleasing and staff were nice however on my stay I requested roses to be added onto the bed as we arrived for a surprise for my partner which they were happy to do for £20 on top of my stay however upon arrive they were not there ,they did take this off my room the charge however it was the surprise that I was gutted about , and tap didn’t work properly in bathroom however overall would go back there as very nice .

It had good service. Everything was either being built or un poor used condition. Rooms were dark and cluttered. There were zero amneties. The spa is not a Spa, it is annoutdoor unheated cold pool with and attached jacuzzu section, which is also unheated and cold. That is not a spa. The water looksnok, but loads of green vegitation on the pools rims which are set stones. The rooms are hust very used and worn out. Ruined the day, as we thought it was a spa hotel for that price. The hotel itself is a few rooms like cabins and you have to walk in the street to get to it. No breakfast with the rooms, a massive rip-off for £230. Also wouldn't call it a hotel. You can get so much more for less cost at any other hotel.

I had a very good stay at the Crazy Bear Hotel. The decoration is truly impressive – bold, unique, and full of character. I stayed in the “Decadence” room, which I really enjoyed. It’s a very particular kind of hotel – you know what you’re getting into, so I find it a bit unfair when people complain about the décor. If you’re after a standard, conventional hotel, this might not be the right choice. But if you’re looking for something distinctive, it’s a great experience. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and both dinner and breakfasts were excellent.

I’ve just come back from my night at your hotel and would just like to say I was really disappointed for the following reasons.

We stayed in room 27 which seemed like a really dark dingy and dated room and in need some modernising but that wasn’t the main issue and I just feel like you should know that for the price of that room we wasn’t impressed and certainly wasn’t wowed with things like broken light switches and limescale on the bath filler and shower head.

We had two men come into our room at 3am with their phone torches on doing god knows what when we woke up they was at the end of our bed my girlfriend had no clothes on and to be honest it scared the hell out of us, neither of us realised we had to lock ourselves in for the night as that’s never normally the case when we stay at a hotel.
Also from the online pictures the hotel looks amazing but we feel like we came whilst you were in the middle of refurbishment but wasn’t told about this when we booked.
Around the pool as it certainly wasn’t like the pictures also we didn’t feel comfortable having to walk through part of the high street in a robe to get to the pool as I’m guessing due to the refurb we couldn’t get to the pool going through the hotel as the staff said we would need to walk round.
So with all that we didn’t feel like it was a good experience and certainly not for the money we paid for the night.
The staff were all great and very friendly and I mentioned this in the morning to them

The property is nice , the restaurant and the room look amazing . But there are some small things that could be improved: “ no changing room or toilets at the swimming pool, you have to walk to the restaurant and go down the stairs to change in your swimming suit, as the rooms are outside the spa zone at a walking distance “ , the water in the jacuzzi was freezing even if outside was 32’ Celsius . In the room would have been nice a mini bar / mini fridge as the water was boiling. They gave as a bucket with ice but still . We also paid twice the late check out fee ( £25 until 1pm and another £25 until 1:40pm , so basically the second was for another 40 minutes ) . Overall it looks fantastic and it deserves 4 stars

I had an issue with a light that would not switch off, which looked like a connection issue. I reported on 2 occasions and it was not fixed.
on check out, I was taking my stuff to my car, parking is no onsite and the cleaner came into the room while I was out and removed my items and left them outside of the room. To note I had just got married and my clothing items are precious and delicate and this was at 9.30am and it wasnt 11am checkout time.

On reporting to staff, i was told the manager will be in touch however no one has made contact.

First day I arrived it wasn’t as clean as expected but 2nd day it had a real good deep clean. Makes me think was it done proper before I stayed. Can’t slate it though was a nice place just wouldnt come back for a work trip but that’s my fault

I would not call this hotel ‘quirky’ it is totally unpractical. The rooms are really dark, you can hardly see to get ready. Our bed was against the wall with no bedside cabinets. I moved a table to put next to the bed for my water. The water for the free standing bath came from the ceiling & the pressure is so slow I’m sure it would’ve taken all day to fill. The shower & basin also so unpractical. The light in the bathroom automatically comes on, but kept going off while still on the toilet! The stairs leading up to our room were also far too dark, not great after a few drinks. Even the men’s & ladies toilets down in the bar were really dark.
I cannot comment on the cleanliness of our room as you couldn’t see!!
The food in the thai restaurant was superb & the staff excellent. Would definitely not stay in the hotel again though. Our friends stayed in another room & said the same.

On check out i also got charged a late fee for being 20 mins late giving back the room keys. So give back rooms keys before loading your luggage in the car !!!

Can see the potential of what I am sure was once a beautiful property. I know it is under new ownership and they are doing renovations so it would be great to revisit once complete as some aspects of the room and property were a little in need of tender loving care .. cracked ceiling mirror .. tap system on the bathroom sink a little unusual to use (to get a good flow of water you had to open the cupboard door ).

Good parts were the Thai meal and breakfast fantastic, comfy bed , staff were amazing and would 100% revisit on that part alone !

The room was on the small side but really well equipped and thought out.

We had a cocktail in the bar abd the service and cocktail were amazing.

Breakfast was good but took 50 minutes from ordering... it was cooked to order but the delay was a disappointing especially as it cost £46 for 2.

Very disappointed with our room. We paid for the top room available and it was terrible. No running cold water for the bath or sink,blinds was broken, toilet seat was broken and the shower and the bath was dripping water all night which kept us awake. We will definitely not be recommending this place to friends or family. Expected a lot better from such an expensive hotel.

The room is super stylish and comfortable. Amazing value for the price! The staff have been amazing and everything has been so easy and smooth. Our room is by the main road so it is a little noisy, also there’s lots of dust on the window shutters. I didn’t know that the toilet/shower room is not a separate room to the bedroom and is only sectioned off with a curtain. It’s still great value for the price and I’d happily come back again!

Our stay was awful, originally booked for 2 nights . We were so uncomfortable we had to check out a day early. The room was very dark and dirty, there was dust on top of the bed and a glass water mark, which shows no cleaning was done. Its also a maze to find the hotel and our room was miles away. This is a scam ,the other crazy bear is an actual hotel, this needs to close. It's a total mis sell, ridiculous prices for a dirty hotel. Ruin my anniversary weekend 😪 I tried to surprise my wife I was so ashamed.

Room is amazing comfortable clean woll recommended but breakfast need to improve as take so long i have to wait 45 minutes. In the restaurants only 3 customers including myself order toast got toast but no butter? Asking for a cup of hot water got normal water. Will not recommended fot breakfast staff need to be more professional as talking and laughing too lound.

The Crazy Bear

A great place to stay, beautifully styled rooms and bar and you would think you were in Morocco relaxing by the outside pool. Dinner was in the Thai restaurant just a little way down the street ( though I understand it is moving back to the main hotel by June this year) the food and service were superb. Would definitely visit again and old town Beaconsfield is an incredible town with very wide streets and free parking everywhere- we parked outside the hotel front door.
