Hotel Harvey is a gem. Honestly, I am not sure why it doesn’t have more stars compared to the other 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed at during this same trip. The staff are wonderful and multi-lingual (English, Spanish and French for us), the rooms are great and location excellent.

Loved this hotel. Room large by Paris standards. Beautifully decorated and very clean. All staff really friendly. Very convenient for public transport, safe and lots of dining options nearby. Less that 10mins walk to Arc de Triomphe. Really lovely French boutique hotel and very good value.

Conveniently located near both the Metro and RER, the hotel offers easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. I am accustomed to top 5 stars hotels, which this is perhaps not, but in the context of Paris, it’s both charming and surprisingly spacious. Be sure to include the breakfast option—it’s well-priced and worth it. One morning, my son asked for a banana. The kind lady managing breakfast initially apologized for not having any, but soon returned with bananas she had gone out and purchased herself. It’s a small hotel, but with a warm, home-like atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely cared for… we would certainly return.

Hôtel Harvey is in a great residential location, near restaurants and conveniently located only a block from the Métro. We greatly appreciated the very friendly staff. The room was much smaller than expected. There was no fan in the bathroom so when showering condensation was pouring down the walls and puckering the ceiling. They had a mini fridge in the room filled with snacks - for a hefty price. I liked that there was room service daily but found it strange that we had to leave the key at reception each morning when we headed out for the day. Probably due to it being an older building.

The rooms were on the small side but this is not unusual in Paris. We had everything we needed, the room and bathroom were clean and our stay was very comfortable. We did not spend much time in the hotel as we were mainly there for the tennis. The hotel is perfectly located to see some of the main attractions and a metro station is not too far so we could easily travel further afield. The reception staff were extremely friendly and really set the tone for our stay. Would definitely return to this small, friendly hotel.

We visited Paris for the first time in early January, which is during the off season. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to easily upgrade to a larger room with a tub (\"Opera Suite\") since they weren't yet at full occupancy. The suite was very clean and the bathroom renovation is beautiful. The continental breakfast was also very good. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and it's relatively quiet at night. We can't thank Martine, Karim and Valérie enough for making this a memorable trip. We look forward to returning soon!

They are super rude people. They don’t have enough people in the office. Speak in a rude language. The elevator is only till 4 floor. Room size is small for that price. No steam in room.
U need to go 2 nd floor for that.

Well located for Palais des Congrès (but smelly?)

This is a nice enough hotel and I would have scored it 4/5 but there was a smell of sewage throughout the entrance, lobby, and corridors for all three days that I was there which made it quite unpleasant and somewhat embarrassing with guests. I assume this was a temporary issue but I feel that the (otherwise pleasant) staff should have raised the topic and offered an explanation and perhaps some sort of compensation.

It’s pretty well located, tons of restaurants around the area, metro station is within walking distance along with the Arc of Triumph, rooms are huge (for Paris standards), the staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall good small hotel, good walking distance from city centre via Champs Elysee. Cleanliness very good, a bit tiny room but only slept there so it was ok for a few days stay. Clean sheets and towels changed every day. Staff on reception very nice and housekeeping did a good job. I would gobfor a deluxe room if coming again i suppose its bigger.

We are so glad to have found this little gem of a hotel. It is charming and unique hotel and located in a quite neighborhood that is a short walking distance from the Arc de Timophe and the Champs-Elysées, as well as several restaurants. The room we stayed in was quite small, but nicely appointed with a modern European bathroom and a mini fridge stocked with snacks and an assortment of beverages. They offer a nice continental breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on how to connect with public transportation. They helped us reschedule our train reservations. There is also a nice little loung area with a bar and a library with travel books. We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

We arrived late at night, the concierge was not friendly nor was he helpful.

Just a heads up breakfast is 13 Euro per person. For breakfast they offer a small variety of meat, cheese, and some bread. With that being the only thing I had, I got food poisoning from the meat.

The neighbourhood as a whole is welcoming, very friendly and helpful even as English only speakers. The hotel staff were so attentive to our needs to see attractions during our quick visit. The bus stop was around the corner a quick trip to the Eiffel Tower. The subway is also handy and direct to the train station. Absolutely awesome and served our purpose beautifully.

I am really BIG on quality so I want this review to help others. Overall, I WOULD come back to this hotel.

Pros
- Right next to subway station (Porte Maillot)

-Great Wi-Fi

-A lot of places to eat near by

-Good neighborhood

-Money exchange around corner (Google will show the closest is like 1 point something miles away a 20-min walk but it is one that is like .8 miles away (5 min walk)

-Quick check in, the lady was friendly and very hospitable always had a smile

-Feels cozy

-Free Maps and Info.

-Shopping and other sites close but Chateau Versailles and Musee d'Orsay are about an hour each on the train

Cons
-Rooms quite small but i hear that is a Paris thing

-No window in bathroom so room becomes steamy

-Cost me 76 euros, 88 US dollars to get there from airport so TAKE UBER OR METRO to Porte Maillot

-Get extra towels while housekeeping is around

-No elevator to 6th floor but only up one flight of steps, inconvenient if you are disabled or have heavy bag

Quick weekend break

Hotel is really ideal for travel from Port Maillot (it's a five minute walk), restaurants located all over, very close to Arc de Triomphe, and shops. We got in super early in the a.m and were able to drop our bags off and check in later. No complaints at all. The room was great for our needs, the hotel centrally located for our purposes, and the staff really great!

Small but beauty and smart hotel!. I like it...

We are {4} very happy to stay in harvey Hotel in Paris. The staff (three musketeers - namely Steohanie,Zaki and Terry) was very nice, friendly,helpfull and always make us easier for everythings.
the room and everything was very clean. One day..if we back again to Paris...we will be there. Success....

Friendly staff, clean and tiny room.

We stayed in this hotel on the last day of our trip cause the next day we would have an early flight to BVA. The Ryanair shuttle bus is just 5 min walk from the hotel. However, at 11pm on sunday night, the area was pretty dead, which was hard to find an open bar or restaurant. The room was tiny and clean, the bathroom was big. Overall a good stay for guests who have early flight to catch at BVA.

This was a great trip with out 2 teenagers. Hotel Harvey proved to be a great home base for us. Close to arch de triumphs and Porte maillot station. Nice neighbourhood and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone traveling on vacation to Paris.

The hotel is well located and has a lovely little reception and bar area... However I feel that the triple room that we stayed in room 41 did need modernising as the other rooms were much nicer looking... All in all the a lovely little hotel. Would return.

Well located comfortable hotel

We were attending a convention at the Palais des Congres, which was a 5 minute walk away. The Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees were just a 10 minute wallk. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and friendly, and there are plenty of restarants nearby. We would definitely stay again if visiting this part of Paris.

Tiny room. No coffee maker or ironing board, no microwave, archaic uncomfortable hair dryer, no laundry facilities in hotel. It should be 1 star hotel or no stars at all. It has a fine fancy reception area and that's about it. Room very small and uncomfortable.

Good Value Hotel in a Central location

Close to Porte Mailott this is better than average French three star hotel. Helpful staff, largish rooms by Paris standards and an excellent shower. Whilst there is a lift the stairs are very steep. Enjoyed the little bar for an aperitif or nightcap. Breakfast is ok but expensive at €12 per person if not included in the price. Try La Mison restaurant a few hundred yards from the hotel but lots of others in the area

Lovely hotel! Very close to most attractions

Went to stay at this hotel with my boyfriend. We arrived a bit early but they let us leave our suitcases so we could explore Paris. Very close to metro and to the monument, about a twenty minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Wifi worked good and we had a good nights sleep. We couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay agin!

We had a really good stay at Hotel Harvey. The staff were very friendly, and spoke English as a second language. They were eager to help us in anyway they could. This helped us feel comfortable visiting the various places we hoped to see while we were there. They helped arrange transportation and gave great advice. They are also located in a good part of the city. I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are very small, which is common in Europe.

Nice, inexpensive hotel

I only spent one night here in January, 2015. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, going over bus maps and giving directions. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern.
If there is any criticism to give, I would note that the hotel staff came into the room while we were outdespite the do not disturb sign on the door.

Very welcoming, convenient and would stay again

I stayed at Hotel Harvey for two nights as needed to be based in that area for work, and I found it convenient for metro/bus/taxi as you needed, with nearby restaurants and cafes, very welcoming staff, and the room was quiet and clean, fairly comfortable. I would stay again due to it meeting needs of my short trips to Paris for work when I make them and need to be in the neighbourhood, but mostly because of the welcome attitude of the staff.

Great Small Hotel in Paris

Paris is my favorite city, many visits over many years. I now have a favorite hotel in the 17th! The Hotel Harvey was everything that a small hotel should be. I was attending a three day conference at Le Palais des congrès and I prefer to stay at small hotels instead of corporate hotels when in Paris on business so that I can feel like I am in the city and not always at work. I had never stayed in this area before and this four day stay will have me coming back again. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable (although at 6' 4\", I fit the bed from top to bottom) and the desk was good for doing work. The fresh coffee, breads and fruit for breakfast were a great way to start the day. I highly endorse this hotel for anyone with business at des congrès or just looking for something near the metro and a two minute walk to the Champs-Élysées.

We found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful. They showed us the best ways to reach the different attractions around the city as well as how to use the subway. Stephanie, the receptionist, upgraded us to a deluxe room once we arrived. The hotel room was small. Still, it was very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to two stations and was not very difficult to find. It is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The breakfast included was good. We would recommend the hotel to anyone and we would stay there again.

Amazing location & great service!

The hotel was perfectly located, we were getting an early shuttle bus to Beauvais Airport and needed to be as close as possible. The shuttle bus stop was a mere 3 minute walk away. We could see the Arc de Triomph from near our hotel, and the subway stop was only a minute walk from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a nightcap while the staff member (Ben) sat with us and chatted, he was very personable and kind. As we were heading to bed we mentioned that we would be leaving at 6am the next morning and Ben advised he would be there. He offered to give us a wake up call and we agreed to a wake up call at 5.45am. The next morning my alarm went off at 5.30am but knowing that a wake up call had been arranged I went back to sleep for a 15 minute snooze. I then wake up to find it was 7am, we were supposed to be on a shuttle bus by 6.30am!! Ben apologised profusely and advised he had arranged for the automatic service to wake us up at 5.45am, but it did not. Ben clearly felt very bad, so my only recommendation is make sure you set your own alarm and rely on that. Other than that, the hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs, and the staff were very kind and welcoming.
