I’m sure this was very nice at one point, and it sounds like they are ready to remodel as of 4/26. But the condition of the property left a lot to be desired. Run down, dirty couches & furniture, luke warm bath water, funky smells in hall/room, outdated furniture/paint/conditions. Fell short of our expectations.

Over $600 per night for a room and in one word all common areas and my suite were shabby.

The resort advertises five restaurants — yet the Pelican restaurant has been closed for months. The remaining so-called “restaurants” operate off the same limited menu, offering little variety unless you have a particular fondness for fries.

The breakfast buffet resembled a crèche, with children running everywhere. There is no option for a calm, adult breakfast with even a semblance of decorum. We were forced to dine off-property to find a civilised start to the day.

Room servicing was entirely inconsistent:
.Sometimes the bed was made.
.Sometimes the coffee was replenished.
.Sometimes we received clean towels.
.NEVER was the shampoo, conditioner or body wash replenished AND two of the dispensers did not work!

For $600+ per night, “sometimes” is not acceptable.

The music at the adult pool requires attention. What you hear is a relentless bass thump — from multiple sources — with no clarity, no balance, and no atmosphere.

And why position Corn-hole at the base of the stairs to the pool deck, directly beside the adult pool entrance? It creates unnecessary congestion and noise in what is supposed to be a designated adult space.

At this price point, expectations are not unreasonable — they are justified. This experience fell well short of what is promised and what is paid for.

I read MANY excellent reviews prior to booking. Unfortunately, that was NOT our experience. From check in through the stay & check out. COMPLETELY NOT WORTH THE $1,000 night price tag!!!

Never bothered to tell us that they bumped us up to include free breakfast for the 4 in our party. Told me on checkout.

Room was moldy & hair in bathroom that was not ours. No menu for room service.

KIDS RUNNING AROUND the restaurant at dinner- as if we were at Chuck E Cheese.

Again, not expecting to deal with that when you are spending $1,000/night. Staff seem burnt out, but with the behavior of the clientele- didn’t really blame them.

WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RETURN TO THIS RESORT!!!!

The clarity of speech with the valet and the front desk person(s). Neither showed positive energy when arriving to the hotel and seemed bothered to be working. The front desk person didn't tell us where to find the elevator, where our paid for breakfast could be found the next morning or how to navigate the property.

Check in was ok. Either the front desk person didn't like I purchase through third party or didn't know how to handle it. I had to ask information about breakfast and parking, which tuen out to be perks from hotels.com, not from the hotel. The initial room didn't have a nice coastal view as advertise, but there was no issue to change it. The room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Water pressure great. Toiletries included except for mouthwash or toothpaste. In room service was fast and food was warm and tasty, although expensive for the flatbread size. Breakfast was amazing, thank you hotels.com for the perk. Lunch at the pool was super tasty. The pool was heated, which was convenient, but it hald mold in some areas, which is why I'm rating it good and not excelent. Dinner was better outside the hotel because of variety. Checkout was easy and uneventful.

We were very disappointed in our stay at the Naples Grande Hotel, and actually cut our stay short. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets were stained, the tub cracked, and it smelt very musty. For the cost we weren’t impressed at all.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, from the front desk to all other services. Ella and Nino were amazing—very attentive and truly made our stay so pleasant. The facility is a bit outdated, but we were told that updates are in progress. Overall, everything was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.

Our phones never worked in the room and we requested help at least 4x. So we wouldn't order food, ete. The hotel is old and needs a rehabbing, if you look at the walls in the hallway, they are really bad. many of the fixtures, lights in my suite didn't work.

The shower has no water pressure. Takes a long time to rinse shampoo & conditioner off. The fridge had to be replaced (froze our drinks). Keurig coffee maker had to be replaced (stopped working). The TV was dark with 5 or 6 bright spots on the screen. Could deal with it since we didn't watch a lot of TV. Getting a lounge chair that was in the sun till at least 2:00pm was impossible. Realized that people were going down early in the morning and placing personal items on the loungers to \"HOLD\" them. Several days the chairs weren't even used for hours. So, on our last day, went down at 9:00am to do the same. Cabanas weren't used, but couldn't put loungers in front of them. Even though that was where the sun was exposed for the full day. Should be more organized in that area. The employees of the hotel were very helpful and courteous. House keeping very accommodating as well. When renovations are done in Nov or Dec. may give it another shot. We'll see.

After reading some of the reviews online, I was a little uncertain as to the experience I should expect to have. However, I’m happy to say everything was perfect. My family and I very much enjoyed the resort. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The pools were heated, which was great given a bit of a cold front that came through. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure we were having a great stay. Plenty of activities by the pool for kids. The hot tub in the adults only section was lovely. I can understand some of the reviews that suggest for a five star resort, the upkeep should be better. Rooms and common areas certainly have seen their fair share of wear and tear and carpets in the bedroom are in need of washing (or replacement). However, this is so minor compared to all of the great things about this resort, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, our room was perfect.

Overall, our stay was average, with a few nice highlights and some areas that could be improved. The pool was great and very enjoyable, and the shuttle service to the beach was excellent — the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated.

The beach itself, however, was unfortunately on the dirty side, with visible garbage under the sunbeds, which took away from the experience. Inside the room, the furnishings felt quite old and heavily used. The advertised partial sea view was very limited — we were mostly looking at a roof, and only from a certain angle could you see a small glimpse of the ocean. One of the beds was also partially covered in plastic, which felt uncomfortable and unexpected.

Breakfast was another weak point for us. The selection was mostly sugary items and fatty sausages, with very few healthy options available.

In summary, the hotel has some positive aspects, especially the pool and friendly service, but it would benefit from updates to the rooms, better beach maintenance, and a more balanced breakfast offering.

overall, the hotel was fine. The room definitely had a musty mildew smell when we asked the bell staff of all the room smell like this. He said yes and they could send housekeeping with a spray. That alone wouldn't be enough for me to only give it three stars as the food was fantastic, and the facilities were nice. However, the water pressure was ridiculously low. Like someone dribbling droplets out of a cup on your head. We asked them to check out our room or change and they did change our room, but unfortunately, the other room had the same issue. So overall, the hotel is \"fine\" but definitely not four or five stars.

We enjoyed our stay at Naples Grande Resort. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was perfect! They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a handwritten card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We loved the boardwalk to get to the beach- it is absolutely gorgeous. The room was spacious, clean, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. We highly recommend it.

I was given dirty room and had to ask to be moved right away from 709 to 710. My friend started complaining that her body was itching. 2 days after both of us except for my son ( who had long pajamas) have severe itching and bump on our legs, arm ,upper legs .
she's taking Benadryl and me I'm planning on going to urgent care. I called hotel and beg to check the room to void anyone else to experience what we're going.

Room was dirty, food crumbs all over the balcony like gold fish and pepperoni slices. Table tops had ring marks all over them like they hadn’t been cleaned in a few stays. I booked a gulf view and got a parking lot view. People at the adult pool waited an hour to get service. Several people were upset about this. There is also construction going on right now which caused a lot of noise inside the room.

All the room have carpet which has a mildew smell and feels gross to walk on bare foot.

We switch rooms but every room we looked at had a similar situation.

Overall the rooms just are aged and not well kept up. The lobby, pool and beach access was nice but the room situation made the stay uncomfortable for us

The pool is beautiful BUT VERY COLD and the hotel is in construction and they didnt tell us before.

They start work at 8am SHARP so dont try to get some rest and it lasts the WHOLE DAY so the noise is pretty annoying if you think of taking a nap.

So call before to check that the renovation is over and go in VERY hot weather because freezing pool is not nice.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with our 3 kids. The hotel was doing a little renovation (new windows). It didn't bother us at all, the staff was fantastic, and we kept getting little extra perks. They were always checking that our stay was satisfactory, and the construction noise wasn't a bother. We hardly noticed it besides a little noise at the pool one afternoon but that was nothing. Food was great, rooms were clean, tram drivers to the beach were so fun and courteous. Would highly recommend and be back. Excited to see the renovations in a year or so!

The hotel room itself was just alright however the hotel amenities could not be beat. Easy access to the shuttle to take you to the beach was great. The amenity fee includes two lounge chairs at the beach or by the pool. The free self parking was huge. Even though they were in the process of renovating the hotel and it was loud at times I still felt like overall it was a good value.

I stayed here over the weekend, and overall the experience was good, but definitely not what I expected for the price and the luxury vibe the hotel promotes. The rooms were okay, but they feel outdated and would really benefit from a remodel to match the hotel’s aesthetic. Another downside is the construction noise. Starting around 9 AM, you can hear work being done around the hotel, and even at the beach on the left side, there were workers and heavy machinery going on a Saturday midday, which was annoying when trying to relax.

One thing I didn’t like was all the extra fees. At check-in, they let you know that pool access, beach access, towels, beach chairs, and even the umbrella at the beach cost extra. The umbrella alone was $19, and cabanas were an additional fee as well. It adds up quickly and should be more transparent beforehand. The shuttle that takes you from the hotel to the beach is convenient, and the bar and restaurant by the beach were very nice.

We also used the spa, which is not included. The amenities were beautiful—sauna, steam room, jacuzzi—and we got a couple’s massage. It was good but nothing extraordinary. For breakfast, we chose the buffet and loved it. Great variety and the staff was very warm and welcoming. All the restaurants inside the hotel were truly excellent.

Due to the construction, they did offer the option to switch to a villa farther away from the noise, which I appreciated. Overall, a nice stay, but with renovations and fewer surprise fe

We stayed at this hotel in Sept. and is was wonderful. Decided to go back for my birthday. Paid the same amount for the room but this time, they were doing renovations…at 8 am each morning we were woken by drilling etc. AND the water was shut down for several hours…of course right when i needed it at 1:30 AM. No warning on Hotels/Expedia. If i would have known i would not have stayed there and frankly…if you are going to shut the water off for hours, you should not have any guests. Shame on the hotel and Hotels/Expedia.com

Rooms were large, spacious and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The parking options are excellent and the hotel enjoys a very good location in Naples very close to the beach.

Service at times was slow and there was window replacement work ongoing at the time of our stay which resulted in consistent noise during the day which was unfortunate for us.
