Overall, clean hotel with nice facilities. The only negative was some broken glass in the balcony pierced my daughter’s foot so we have to male an early drive to the grocery store for first aid stuff. Hopefully they check the balconies real good so it won’t happen to somebody.

The hotel is nice. It doesn’t have a coffee shop outside of the restaurant. Our suite was pretty under stocked with plates and cups. For such a big hotel, I would have thought there would have been more going on.

The place was closing so we were there for the last two days in operation. They were out of many things to eat and drink as the staff told us once they run out it doesn't get replaced because of the planned closure for remodeling. Also the kids wanted to use bikes but the bikes were picked up. We feel we should get a discounted rate

The pools are warm and wonderful along with all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Love that there are bikes to borrow and beautiful neighborhoods to walk.

The front-line staff are the MAIN reason to consider this resort. At the pools, at the beach, cleaning the rooms... those people are the heart of the resort. Now sadly, we had the EXACT SAME room (suite actually) we had a year ago. We had about 7 items that were broken or malfunctioning (such as one sink tap, the main bedroom AC, the entry doors, the ice machine on the floor) and we were disappointed that exactly 1 year later, every item was still broken or malfunctioning. We can't help but surmise that since they were planning a major renovation, they decided to disrespect their guests and not fix a single broken or malfunctioning item reported in the last year before the planned renovation? We're on the fence about whether or not to return for a 4th consecutive year. We feel terrible that the people who really make the resort are going to be let go, without any severance, for about 9 months? I hope they can hire them back, or find people of similar character and abilities.

As a paying guest of the hotel, going to the beach was a process. The hotel should have designated trams for hotel guests and not make them wait in line for 20 to 30 minutes with the rest of the crowd. Also, if you rent a cabana you should be able to have food service in the cabana. Again waiting in line for 45 min to an hour to buy food when you have paid $245 for a cabana is ridiculous.

Pool was crowded . Very difficult to find a spot in all pool areas. The beach was not as easily accessible as it sounded . The beach and Rhodes end were very crowded by non resort guests .
The staff was fantastic and amazing. The food and drinks were great . We would like to return, but maybe when it’s not so crowded.

The water slide was closed for the entirety of our visit, which was disappointing from the start. Additionally, the beach is advertised as “private” on the website, but this is misleading. It is actually a public beach that was very crowded and busy during our stay. The wording online, highlighting “Private Beach” followed by mention of cabanas and beds, led me to believe the beach itself was exclusive, which was not the case.
I was also told as a teacher I would receive a 10% discount on food and drinks. However, when I inquired about this, I had to argue with the day manager, David, who repeatedly stated that because I booked through a third-party vendor, the discount would not be honored. While he eventually offered a $100 resort credit, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, he hung up on me after offering the credit.
There were also several issues with our room. The toilet clogged twice, the shower leaked water all over the floor, and housekeeping consistently came late in the afternoon around 4:15 to 4:30 PM, which conflicted with the time my daughter and I were getting ready for dinner.
As we were leaving, staff informed us that the resort will be closing April 1 for a 9-month renovation.
As a single mom and a teacher, this trip was a significant expense for me and was meant to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday. Unfortunately, I left disappointed by the resort, particularly due to the discrepancies between what is advertised and the actual experience.

I've been here a few times, it's a great spot. Beautiful beach and lots of restaurants and amenities on site. It's also near a lot of other great things to do in Naples. I took my 8 year old daughter for her birthday, and we had a great time! We even booked a spa service, and the ladies in the spa were so nice to my daughter, gave her a mani and pedi and she loved it

Room was clean but desk chair surface was degraded significantly and lounge couch severly stained. My biggest disappointment was the prices for the age of the venue and now knowing they are closing for remodeling on April 1st which means they know it tool. Drinks and food were rediculously priced for the value. I think the biggest disappointment in this place knowing they are closing down for a complete renovation is that they did offer any gesture or coupon to return when renovated.

The room was nice and we loved that every room has a balcony. Lots of noise from the hall into our room. The slide at the pool is out of order which was a bummer for my kids. The pool is a big reason we stayed there. The pool was also closed on our first night due to maintenance and only the adult pool and hottub were open. On the second night we found our well behaved 11 year old could come into the hot tub and adult pool in the evening when it wasn’t busy. At least no one told her she couldn’t.
The sunset at the beach was amazing! Well worth a walk on the wood path back in the dark.

At arrival we upgraded to a suite. The suite showed it age. Furniture was dirty, furniture was showing it age. Cabinet doors were missing and, or broken in the kitchenette area. Staff was wonderful as always! Hoping staff reporter the nine month furloughs. Looking forward to visiting the renovated property as this trip definitely was telling, that the time has come.

I’m sure this was very nice at one point, and it sounds like they are ready to remodel as of 4/26. But the condition of the property left a lot to be desired. Run down, dirty couches & furniture, luke warm bath water, funky smells in hall/room, outdated furniture/paint/conditions. Fell short of our expectations.

Over $600 per night for a room and in one word all common areas and my suite were shabby.

The resort advertises five restaurants — yet the Pelican restaurant has been closed for months. The remaining so-called “restaurants” operate off the same limited menu, offering little variety unless you have a particular fondness for fries.

The breakfast buffet resembled a crèche, with children running everywhere. There is no option for a calm, adult breakfast with even a semblance of decorum. We were forced to dine off-property to find a civilised start to the day.

Room servicing was entirely inconsistent:
.Sometimes the bed was made.
.Sometimes the coffee was replenished.
.Sometimes we received clean towels.
.NEVER was the shampoo, conditioner or body wash replenished AND two of the dispensers did not work!

For $600+ per night, “sometimes” is not acceptable.

The music at the adult pool requires attention. What you hear is a relentless bass thump — from multiple sources — with no clarity, no balance, and no atmosphere.

And why position Corn-hole at the base of the stairs to the pool deck, directly beside the adult pool entrance? It creates unnecessary congestion and noise in what is supposed to be a designated adult space.

At this price point, expectations are not unreasonable — they are justified. This experience fell well short of what is promised and what is paid for.

I read MANY excellent reviews prior to booking. Unfortunately, that was NOT our experience. From check in through the stay & check out. COMPLETELY NOT WORTH THE $1,000 night price tag!!!

Never bothered to tell us that they bumped us up to include free breakfast for the 4 in our party. Told me on checkout.

Room was moldy & hair in bathroom that was not ours. No menu for room service.

KIDS RUNNING AROUND the restaurant at dinner- as if we were at Chuck E Cheese.

Again, not expecting to deal with that when you are spending $1,000/night. Staff seem burnt out, but with the behavior of the clientele- didn’t really blame them.

WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RETURN TO THIS RESORT!!!!

Check in was ok. Either the front desk person didn't like I purchase through third party or didn't know how to handle it. I had to ask information about breakfast and parking, which tuen out to be perks from hotels.com, not from the hotel. The initial room didn't have a nice coastal view as advertise, but there was no issue to change it. The room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. Water pressure great. Toiletries included except for mouthwash or toothpaste. In room service was fast and food was warm and tasty, although expensive for the flatbread size. Breakfast was amazing, thank you hotels.com for the perk. Lunch at the pool was super tasty. The pool was heated, which was convenient, but it hald mold in some areas, which is why I'm rating it good and not excelent. Dinner was better outside the hotel because of variety. Checkout was easy and uneventful.

We were very disappointed in our stay at the Naples Grande Hotel, and actually cut our stay short. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets were stained, the tub cracked, and it smelt very musty. For the cost we weren’t impressed at all.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, from the front desk to all other services. Ella and Nino were amazing—very attentive and truly made our stay so pleasant. The facility is a bit outdated, but we were told that updates are in progress. Overall, everything was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.

Our phones never worked in the room and we requested help at least 4x. So we wouldn't order food, ete. The hotel is old and needs a rehabbing, if you look at the walls in the hallway, they are really bad. many of the fixtures, lights in my suite didn't work.

The shower has no water pressure. Takes a long time to rinse shampoo & conditioner off. The fridge had to be replaced (froze our drinks). Keurig coffee maker had to be replaced (stopped working). The TV was dark with 5 or 6 bright spots on the screen. Could deal with it since we didn't watch a lot of TV. Getting a lounge chair that was in the sun till at least 2:00pm was impossible. Realized that people were going down early in the morning and placing personal items on the loungers to \"HOLD\" them. Several days the chairs weren't even used for hours. So, on our last day, went down at 9:00am to do the same. Cabanas weren't used, but couldn't put loungers in front of them. Even though that was where the sun was exposed for the full day. Should be more organized in that area. The employees of the hotel were very helpful and courteous. House keeping very accommodating as well. When renovations are done in Nov or Dec. may give it another shot. We'll see.

After reading some of the reviews online, I was a little uncertain as to the experience I should expect to have. However, I’m happy to say everything was perfect. My family and I very much enjoyed the resort. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The pools were heated, which was great given a bit of a cold front that came through. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure we were having a great stay. Plenty of activities by the pool for kids. The hot tub in the adults only section was lovely. I can understand some of the reviews that suggest for a five star resort, the upkeep should be better. Rooms and common areas certainly have seen their fair share of wear and tear and carpets in the bedroom are in need of washing (or replacement). However, this is so minor compared to all of the great things about this resort, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, our room was perfect.

Overall, our stay was average, with a few nice highlights and some areas that could be improved. The pool was great and very enjoyable, and the shuttle service to the beach was excellent — the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated.

The beach itself, however, was unfortunately on the dirty side, with visible garbage under the sunbeds, which took away from the experience. Inside the room, the furnishings felt quite old and heavily used. The advertised partial sea view was very limited — we were mostly looking at a roof, and only from a certain angle could you see a small glimpse of the ocean. One of the beds was also partially covered in plastic, which felt uncomfortable and unexpected.

Breakfast was another weak point for us. The selection was mostly sugary items and fatty sausages, with very few healthy options available.

In summary, the hotel has some positive aspects, especially the pool and friendly service, but it would benefit from updates to the rooms, better beach maintenance, and a more balanced breakfast offering.

overall, the hotel was fine. The room definitely had a musty mildew smell when we asked the bell staff of all the room smell like this. He said yes and they could send housekeeping with a spray. That alone wouldn't be enough for me to only give it three stars as the food was fantastic, and the facilities were nice. However, the water pressure was ridiculously low. Like someone dribbling droplets out of a cup on your head. We asked them to check out our room or change and they did change our room, but unfortunately, the other room had the same issue. So overall, the hotel is \"fine\" but definitely not four or five stars.

We enjoyed our stay at Naples Grande Resort. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was perfect! They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a handwritten card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We loved the boardwalk to get to the beach- it is absolutely gorgeous. The room was spacious, clean, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. We highly recommend it.

I was given dirty room and had to ask to be moved right away from 709 to 710. My friend started complaining that her body was itching. 2 days after both of us except for my son ( who had long pajamas) have severe itching and bump on our legs, arm ,upper legs .
she's taking Benadryl and me I'm planning on going to urgent care. I called hotel and beg to check the room to void anyone else to experience what we're going.
through. I called hotel and left a message for a manager to call me back.
