Very dissapointing definetely wont be going too this particular ibis again.Hidden charges like paying a parking fee of 16.00 for two cars.Having room changed from what i was expecting.So dissapointing didnt even stay the one night booked.Luckily freinds put us up at their house.

Bed had hairs all over it, bathroom door doesn't close, dirty towels. Dust was all over the place. I didn't complain as it is a low budget hotel and the cleaners are not expected to clean properly. I had to clean myself. There were escorts on my floor so i could hear loud moaning noises, and customers coming in and out of the rooms. I did get warned about this that Ibis hotel keep a blind eye on these things but i chose to ignore it.

Turned up to the first room and it hadn’t been cleaned, the 2nd room there were peoples stuff in the room then finally got into the 3rd room, we then went down for something to eat and was told there was a 45 minute wait for food, we got to the bar at 6.45 and ordered food at 7.15, we ended up getting our food at 8.45, there were only 2 people covering reception, bar and kitchin it was a nightmare

Hello. Booked for 2 nights to be close to Uni.
Check in was quick and the lady was very polite. Room was spot on. No issues. Bit of noise at night from the occasional door shutting. Shower was spot on in bathroom.
I had an evening tea in the restaurant. Very nice and good value. All staff I encountered were very nice. A nice stay with no real issues!

The bathroom door would not shut properly, the room was too hot, even tho the heating didn’t appear to be on. Couldn’t open the window because of traffic noise. Location ideal for getting to the stadium but actually located on a roundabout! I chose to have cooked breakfast and the Saturday one was fine. Not so with the Sunday! Only veggie options were toast,hash browns and tomatoes. Asked for veggie sausages which eventually arrived half an hour later!! In the interim baked beans arrived and although bubbling on the edges, hadn’t been warmed through, so were more or less cold!

Looks ok to the eye BUT, the bed and pillows are sooo hard! In so much pain with back and shoulders hurting. Worst bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast was a shambles, buffet style, but food cold and been sat out for ages. No hot drink machine working. Finally a small in room kettle was plugged in.

Everything clean and fresh. Good big shower. Ideal for an overnighter. Tasty, help yourself buffet breakfast, with plenty of choice to suit most people. Has parking and easy access to buses 17 and 60 if you need to go into town.

It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed at! There was a wedding part staying in the hotel that played loud music all evening until late and started a photo shoot in the corridor outside our room from 7 in the morning. When I went downstairs to complain I was told the manager would only be in after we left and really they were not going to do anything about the noise. Then as we were having breakfast the wedding party came down and continued making so much noise people were looking and the hotel staff just looked and did nothing.
I feel cheated and robbed, it wasn’t cheap to stay there and I couldn’t wait to leave. I feel I’m entitled to a refund! Appalling

Of doors people chatting on phone.banging my door slammed of doors.when I rang downstairs the women did nothing at all when I rang bk she wouldn't answer.and shut the safety gate b4 3pm to stop people coming in well she didn't handle it well the whole check in was full With too many people.seem like safety isn't safe I'd shut the gate in the afternoon.and when I left it was still shut at 1130am.never ever again.not good lots of noise in the night.

What a terrible stay.
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, room temperature 35°, air cooling on all night and took it down to 32°, window can only open 0.5\" and road outside was like a race track. No fans at reception even though heatwave was on for 7 days, could have understood if it was day 1. Could have left room doors open before people checked in to atleast attempt to cool rooms down, or offer water when people check in. When mentioned to staff they just shrugged and said nothing they could do, obviously they could do a lot more. Breakfast was meh, food cold as it was obviously left for a while.

THE STAY OFF HELL
I stayed at the hotel on Friday and it was terrible. The lady who checked me in was nice and friendly. However the room was a mess and the hotel was very loud all night. There was an asian guy at the desk who was very rude, he refused to serve me any food/drink and he kept saying he needs to do a routine check on me every time i came into the hotel which was about five times. He was rude and also racist.

Great service, easy check in, comfortable bed and clean room. The only issue was the bathroom smelt of a blocked pipe/drain smell and the air cooling system didn’t work. Spoke to reception and they got both things sorted in no time.

I know there is no chef on and meals are on a scaled down menu but if they are offering a restaurant service then it should be up to scratch. I had the chicken curry which included 4 morsels of chicken and the chips were not cooked enough. I usually complain but the girl thought she was doing me a favour.

Had a lovely weekend away at this Ibis. All staff are very helpful and always friendly. Gated hotel so cars are kept safe. Lovely rooms! Didn’t expect them to be that nice. However, hotel is on a main busy roundabout which was very loud throughout the night. I paid for breakfast to be included but Because of COVID-19, we had a breakfast in a bag Which unfortunately wasn’t things that I liked. Luckily there’s a McDonald’s next door. Other than that stay was lovely!

We found the ibis hotel very friendly especially to our dog. The room was clean and comfortable. The only bad point was the bathroom, my husband is disabled and to have to step over a ridge to get into it was dangerous for him. He actually tripped during the night but thankfully was ok

The overall stay was nice! Great location, very friendly staff (for the most part). The only not-so-nice aspect was the food. It was evidently oven/microwave made as the pizza was cold and wet in the middle and “we don’t have margarita pizzas but we can give you a pepperoni one?” It wasn’t nice to eat and £8 seemed excessive. The £9.50 breakfast did not have much to offer either, but the room was lovely and clean.

The staff were very good. We were in room 1 which is next to main door so it was very noisy. My pillow was rock hard so I didn’t sleep all that well. A few cobwebs in the bathroom but other than that it was clean.

Good location but that was the only benefit. Beds uncomfortable and small, we looked at a twin and double, both undersized and both with the 'ibis' style bed, as when mentioned to staff about matress being too thin, was told that they all the same. Room small and smelt damp, not enough ventilation in the bathroom. Facilities in tea and coffee limited, as with toiletries. hotel deco overall was very basic, I would describe as a hostel rather than hotel. The room was noisy with a constant hum/buzz all night which got louder in the morning, all together resulting in 2 very bad nights sleep. Worst buget hotel chain i've stayed at.

Never stayed in a Ibis before, but it was all good i liked the pod style bathrooms and minimal styling it was all quite funky.

I stayed for 5 nights at the Ibis Bordesley circus and I have to say I was impressed with the rooms and the staff. The hotel is very nice and modern, and the staff were lovely. My only problem was the mattress and pillows provided were not very comfy, but of course that is subjective. I will definitely be going back to stay as the location is fantastic!!

The hotel is well located near the shopping streets and city centre although the area is dodgy, but that's expected. I had a twin air-conditioned room on the ground floor. The single beds seemed to me to be a little thinner than a standard single bed. I also felt that the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, the room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was really good as there's a lot of variety between hot and cold options. Parking is okay too. They have a point to charge your car if it electric, but this is on a first come, first served basis.

When we checked in and got into our room, the curtain looked like someone threw some brown liquid or product across the whole curtain, which was disgusting.
Then in the bathroom the toilet seat had urine stain on it and around the bathroom was crumbled dirt pieces.
To top it off, there was a fire alarm that went off twice and we had to get our things and leave when it was a false alarm, disturbing our stay.

Even with the window shut there was constant noise that didn’t stop all night. Constant traffic, beeping and sirens. That’s the problem with buffet breakfast when there’s not many people- the food just sits there drying out. Hotel is perfect location for visiting Birmingham City Football Club.

Perfect for a short getaway
Had a nice stay at the ibis. Room was clean and comfortable. We left our do not disturb sign on and the cleaners helpfully left a towel and some tea and coffee by our door so we had it if we needed it. The staff at check in were friendly and polite. The room was very warm but I did not see this as too much of an issue. It is near a very busy road so if this is likely to disturb your sleep you may want to consider another hotel, however we slept with the windows open so this may have made it worse. Parking is free on site and the communal areas are well maintained. All in all I would return and I would recommend.
