Anchorage Beach Resort offers you total relaxation in a tranquil resort environment. The resort is situated on seven acres of sprawling landscaped gardens with absolute beach frontage.
The resort's location in Vuda provides easy access to Lautoka, Fiji's second largest city and to Nadi, the main shopping destination. Yet it is still isolated enough to remain a peaceful oasis, tucked away from the stresses of everyday life.
Effective January 1 2022, all travellers from Travel Partner Countries, 12 years and over, must produce a negative PCR test taken no more than 2 calendar days prior to the scheduled day of departure (previously 72 hours). This applies to all travellers disembarking in and transiting through Fiji.
In addition, all eligible travellers will now be required to take an approved Rapid Antigen Test after 24 hours of their arrival into Fiji (previously after 48 hours).

Rooms are basic and very outdated. Not very clean and very much in need of upkeep. AC marginal. No pool, beach or other ameneties, which was probably clear on the booking page. Its a far as possible from the "center of town" Sargassum is bad along the waterfront.

If on a budget, which we were not, its fine. AC worked and location was good, less than a 10 minute walk into main part of town along shoreline. Nice pier to go out on and swim. Also it is kind of shallow so you can stand up anywhere. Beer sold in office is cheaper than anything but a grocery store. there is and excellent restaurant (a little pricey) about a 100-150 yards south (Weezies). My main complaint here is they do not know what a pillow is. Those offered were like 10 inches thick and hard as a rock...did not use. Got some that were thinner but still quite hard. I ended up using the folded up bed quilt as a pillow. Operator was a good guy and so was grandpaw.

The people are so nice, but the property has seen better days. Our rooms were a bit... rough around the edges. The beach front was kind of a mess, looked nothing like the pictures. We were out and about all day, so it wasn't a big issue, but if you're looking for a place to hang out for a beautiful beach day, this doesn't really work.

This hotel was the worst one of our whole trip. It desperately needs updating and painting. There were bars on the windows, ants in the bathroom and a loud gurgling noise from the toilet and shower all night. We moved out after only 1 night there and went to the Tropical Paradise Hotel which was very nice. We had an oceanfront room. They have a nice pool with swim up bar. I would not recommend Anchorage Beach Resort to anyone.

BED BUGS. I knew this wasn't 5 star accommodation, but it was dingier than I expected. Okay, I can put up with old, even a few stains, as long as it's clean. But on my last morning of 3, I awoke with 4 small bits in a row near my abdomen - a sure sign of bed bugs. Also zero amenities, just instant coffee if you boil the kettle in the office. One star is for the staff, who are extremely nice and doing their best, but the owner, a miserable man, is obviously just letting it fall apart. Should not be available on any reputable travel site. Expedia should not offer this hotel.

Staff were very kind. King bed in room 26 was EXTREMELY firm and pillows were huge & firm. I chose to purchase a pillow in town for the stay. A big storm came through and we had a leak in the roof that dripped between our pillows all night. We put a trash bag between us to keep from getting wet. Only allowed two towels at a time, no beach towels were provided. AC in room worked great. Views were gorgeous, beautiful location & we appreciate that they allowed us in the room early because of an early flight. We will not stay again but loved our time on the beautiful Caye Caulker.

Rating this a 2 1/2 star hotel is reaching! The staff was friendly. The pillows were like rocks! I don't believe i ever received a fresh towel in my 4 nights stay. It just wasn't very nice, i couldn't wait to get to my next destination!

Everything was wonderful, the staff (manager on site) was super helpful. Offered different dinning options as well as tour options. We really enjoyed the snorkeling option he suggested as they offered pick-up & drop off from location as well as GoPro pics and lunch.
The one one complaint was when someone from above broke the tub and our whole room was flooded. They couldn't do anything at the the 3am hour but as soon as morning came they quickly move us to another room. It literally sounded like it was raining in our room fom the water above.

Seggasum stink was severe. Host was....ok. Zero help with luggage and I definitely didnt like the way they handled the cockroaches. I wont be staying there again.

I was going to give it yo thrm by waiting until I found anouther cockroach then I was going to make the host eat it. While they didn’t do anything wrong this place was not what we expected. It’s a beach resort and so they have a sand area but there’s no beach. There’s no pool either so it’s not a place to hang out in the day. The water smells so terribly you can’t stand it.the room was a nice size but the bed was as hard as a rock. Neither of us slept. It’s a long ways from town and they don’t have a coffee pot or sell pop and water so we had to get up and get ready to spend the day away from the ‘resort’. There’s not much to recommend here. Sorry Anchorage. I would stay here again.

It was reasonable and not really loud. Clean. There is a place to sit and watch the water. There is a hotel on the other side that sometimes has a bar open and a fire on the beach. Great little pier to get in the water and watch the sunrise. A nice hotel for a quiet time. It is not a far walk to the main street of town.

It was a fine budget place to crash. Very basic, and that’s fine by me. The shower worked poorly and bath did not at all. Good location on a beach with a dock, though my ‘sea view’ room was not really a clear view of the sea. Manager was friendly and helpful. A bit farther than most accommodations from the mix of things Ave not the kind of place you’d hang out at all day (though safe)

I've visited CC many times and this was our first stay at Anchorage. We were really happy with our stay. The manager and his crew are friendly and helpful. I loved how quiet it was. As CC has grown over the years it has become much busier. Anchorage is not far from the center but it's quiet and peaceful.

Everything was great except the WiFi. I work online and depend upon WiFi for this and was unable to connect to various meetings. The WiFi was basically non functional even for small things.. this really impacted my overall experience. However, I did enjoy everything else about my stay.

Anchorage Beach Resort is not by far the nicest place to stay in Caye Caulker. There is no pool, amenities or such and the rooms are very basic. However, Delroy was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay including calling for taxi services. It does sit on a lovely beachfront with a dock that allows for access to swimming if you choose. It is only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops and about 10-15 minutes walk to The Split and Sip N Dip (the north end if the island).

Right on the water, but no real beach (those are few and far between on caye caulker) instead they have a nice little dock you can easily swim off of, with a shaded seating area. This was my second time staying at The Anchorage Resort. Other than property managers nothing has changed. Yes, it’s an older hotel but it has everything you need. King size beds, air conditioning, hot shower, mini fridge, and it’s clean. I especially like that it’s away from all of the party noise down on the Main Street area. I have nothing negative to share about either of my stays at The Anchorage Resort.

The staff was hospitable. Welcoming and got us in early. They even helped set up decorations for our stay that I requested, which was very nice. The location was right on the beach so that was tons of fun as well. However the biggest issues I would say that I had were that the air conditioning didn’t work really well and that door locking system didn’t seem very safe to us. The lock was the same on both sides and you can only get out of the room with a key, which I think is a little unnerving. The shower pressure was weak and the toilet flush wasn’t that strong. Other than that it’s in a good more quite location on the island.
