Impeccable service, spotless room, great location, quiet elegance. My only criticism is that I did not appreciate the new £23 per day charge for the housekeepers that just popped up. When I asked about it, I was told, \"But 100% goes to the housekeepers\". Huh? Was that supposed to make me feel better? Hasn't the cost of housekeeping always been part of the overall bill, and hasn't the decision to tip or not always been with the guest? This is simply an unfortunate new hidden charge to the room rate.

Return visit, very quiet hotel which is convenient for shopping and nearby restaurants. Room was very comfortable and all staff were attentive but not in your face. Breakfast room was very nice and service excellent (in particular from one lady whose name escapes me). Overall a lovely retreat and of course also convenient for walking in the local parks.

Beautiful spacious rooms. We did receive a room upgrade upon our arrival. Would recommend if you’re looking for a large room quiet area and close to Hyde Park. Only thing was I kept asking for cups and glasses and waters to be replaced everyday. They were not doing it with the house keeping which was annoying.

This is our favorite hotel for our London stays. It's a boutique hotel in a great location - within easy walking distance from shopping, dining, the theater and so on.
If you are looking for a modern, high end hotel and prefer a smaller, quieter place vs a large hotel, I highly recommend it. We have stayed at several of the larger luxury Knightsbridge hotels and keep coming back to the Halkin.

Lovely hotel in best part of London

I generally like the COMO hotels. I changed over to The Halkin from the Metropolitan. The Halkin is better managed and the environment is lovely. The rooms very nice, quiet and nicely appointed. Great food in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

This is an outstanding hotel. The facilities are first rate - very modern, up to date, and classy. Great bed, linen and bathroom. Attention to detail in cleanliness and quality of the furnishings.
Bar and breakfast were both lovely - great quality and selection and served with grace and efficiency.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with enormous rooms, particularly for London. They are beautifully decorated and the yoga mats in every room are very high quality. The hotel is well-located for getting places in London -- a quick walk to the Tube and many buses nearby, too. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only complaint is that in other similar hotels, we have had more staff available and it was a bit more personal. All the staff that we did see were very nice, though. Overall, we would stay there again.

If I could give this property six stars for service I would. Every possible accommodation was made and every single staff member was incredibly kind, pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to all the major attractions and virtually adjacent to Hyde Park. The breakfast was wonderful, and the room was large, comfortable and beautiful. The hotel is physically quite beautiful and it sits in the wealthiest neighborhood in London. The only possible negatives were the AC being slightly less cool than we would have liked (but probably more than adequate for most) and the shower curtain was hard to open and close. But when we mentioned the AC issue the hotel immediately brought us a fan that completely took care of the problem. I would/will stay there again without hesitation, and, again, would rate it six stars if I could for the impeccable service.

I booked the hotel based on the reviews and the rating. Honestly, the hotel does not deserve the rating or the good reviews. The hotel condition is kind of old and not renovated specially the bathrooms. Overall the vibe is not a hotel vibe, it is more of a serviced apartment vibe. 2 more important things. First, i found a big bug in my room and it was a spider i think. I told them and nothing happened. Second, at the check out they tried to make me pay 5% extra service while my booking was paid in full in advance and when i refused they told me that the 5% is optional and it us ip to me if i dont want to pay it!!!! Very strange and not acceptable.

We were excited to stay at the Como Halking and the check-in was long.
The A/C sytem didn’t work during our stayed. The solution was to sign a waiver for safety reason for the hotel and open the window at nigth. They showed us another room and the heating/cooling system was broker. Then another room, one of the smallest one and not a very appealing roon to us where the a/c was also a problem. They said their engineers disn’t know how to fix it the problem.
We ask for an ironing board the first nigth and nobody removed it or even put it away for our stay.
The tray of fruit they had put in our room the first day stayed there until the third day even if there were left over fruits on the plate.
Nobody to help with the luggage.
Someone went inside our room while we were sleeping at 7:00 am while the “do not disturbed ligth was on”

We had a wonderful stay at the Como. The hotel is beautiful and our room was amazing, spacious and so comfortable. We were treated incredibly well and all of the little extra touches from the staff such as a drink on arrival and the turn down room service made our stay extra special. We have already recommended the Como to family members and we would love to return again in the future!

We just needed a room to come to for a brief period after a long transatlantic flight. We arrived at 9:00am and left at 3:00pm. When we arrived the room smelled smoky because of a previous inconsiderate guest. Not the hotel's fault, but the staff did everything they possibly could to compensate us for the inconvenience. The room was fabulous. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. All around highly recommended.

Exceptional 3 night stay on business. Upgraded to top floor upon arrival (largest room I’ve had in London) and received a bottle of wine, tapas at the restaurant and fresh fruit each day. I ended up staying in the room for the entire stay due to illness but the staff provided great care. Room service allowed me to order a la cart to match my bland taste and even created a citrus ginger tea with honey to help my cold. The concierge arranged for a private doctor visit within hours of my request as well in a nearby office amongst the Belgrave embassies. Every service interaction I had was upbeat and considerate.

We were impressed with the room and very impressed by the dedication of the staff: everyone tried very hard, all the time. There were some small hiccups, but all in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

Personal service and quality of the rooms and location make this a special destination . However, this is probably the only luxury hotel I have stayed in for the last five years that does not provide all the bottled water you need to drink. Surprising for a hotel that does so much to make themselves and their client's stay so special. Not sure about other London Hotels as this is my first choice regardless.

Nice hotel, reasonable price in Knightsbride

Concierge was extremely helpful. Front desk staff a bit less so. The first room we were put in was too small for two people and the rug was not clean. We were moved to another room which was satisfactory. Area is central for everything. There was construction going on, so some issue with having a place for a drink.

Fabulous customer service

We arrived to find out that we did not have a room booked in our name.
The manager went out of his way to rectify this by booking us into a sister Hotel called the Metropolitan and upgrading our room.
Fabulous customer service by both sets of staff in both hotels meant our London trip was not ruined but enhanced.

Beautiful hotel with great central location

Check-in & check out were exceptionally swift. Room very comfortable; our package included a welcome glass of champagne which set the tone for the whole stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu lunch in the Ametza restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a special weekend away.

Great hotel and guest services.

Very nice hotel with impeccable customer service from the moment you arrive. Located in a quiet neighborhood near embassies and about 15 min walk to Harrods and the shopping district. Also saw that it was near Buckingham Palace. Room was very nice, spacious, and quiet making for good night rest. Was here for business trip and cannot complain.

Great Concierge

Great location and really nice rooms. The jewels of the hotel are the gentlemen who work at the concierge desk. Most helpful and led us to experiences we would have never known about. Rain, rain and more rain, they ran outside to hail cabs, open our doors and more.

The rooms are comfy and clean and it’s very quite , but the lobby is too plain with no vibe and the bar is almost always empty . The ceiling in my room started leaking in the middle of the night and that was very annoying.

The staff/service was excellent. Upon check-in we were escorted to our room whereupon we were shown all that our room offered -- discreetly hidden stocked refrigerator, bedside consoles to operate everything from lighting to temperature from bed, etc. There is also a wall keypad to operate everything the consoles provide and a button to alert housekeeping to make-up your room -- as well as a button to reach your butler should you need anything.
Linens were excellent, bed extremely comfortable and room was incredibly spacious.
Turndown service included fresh fruit and popcorn (perfect for my 11 year old).
We received a hand written thank you note for choosing their hotel and there was a complimentary bottle of wine on the desk upon our arrival.
Many thanks to the entire staff for an excellent stay, and to Greg (the general manager) for making sure it was so!

The location is perfect. A quiet street near the parks, tube and Victoria Station. Two blocks to great food.

We saw three rooms (two stays and a friends). Size and facilities are more than enough to be very comfortable. Perfect again.

Staff was the best we have found (and we have travelled quite a lot). Concierges are unmatched.

This is a gem.

We stayed here for two days on our way back to the US. We chose it based on the reviews we read and the posted pictures. This hotel did not disappoint. Staff was very courteous and prompt. We stayed at room 209, which is a corner Holkin room. It is a very large quiet room with big windows overlooking greenery. Staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was large by any standard. We also had a Nessprso machine and daily complimentary bottles of water. Also, there was an adapter with multiple USB ports for phone charging which made life very easy. Location was great and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, providing the right amount of firmness and support. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly stay here again.
