Ideal location, near Knightbridge tube station, and very convenient. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them, from welcoming us to the hotel to allowing us to keep our luggage in the hotel after checkout while we crammed the last bits of sightseeing in. Would definitely stay again, and thank you to all the staff for making our stay a lovely one.

The room needed a makeover very dated. Had to get somebody in to our room so we could shut the curtains and it still didn’t work as they just hooked them off the track so we had to use our own safety pin. Toilet roll holder hanging off and bathroom not cleaned to a very good standard, water stain and hole not filled in properly above the shower were there has clearly been a leak. No back on the remote to the tv.
I would say this is more of a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was very good though and a good choice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a shame about the decor as the location is spot on.

The hotel is old and in urgent need of a complete renovation. Cleaning services were poor, I found long black hairs in the bathtub when I checked in, and I’m bald. I informed reception and they had it cleaned. Thereafter I found hair in the bathroom sink, as well as toothpaste after the room had been cleaned. The rooms are cold, with no option to adjust the temperature. The fire alarm went off twice one day, at 4 a.m. and again around 7 am for a few seconds. The king size bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, with one slightly higher than the other making the bed uncomfortable.

The main issue was the failure of the water supply (hot and cold) on the morning of Saturday 17th. This was the day of the wedding we had travelled to London to attend, and this was a crisis. A hotel that cannot supplies toilets, showers and sinks to customers that work, have not supplied a hotel service. This happened around 9 am in our room, and led to an embarrassing situation there and then when our loo did not flush. Itself very bad. But we understand that this can happen even in a hotel.

Our complaint is that when we reported this multiple times during the morning, reception and other staff just told us that \"we will send the maintenance team\". Around 11 am I had had enough, and I asked to get the use of another room. This resulted in a security person letting us into room 306, but we did not get a key card, and that person said \"one of you will have to remain in the room at a time to let in the other\". This after we have paid close to 200 GBP per night and we need to get ready with all our clothes and toiletries. We had repeated experiences of new aspects of this problem and all except one manager (whose name I did not write down) ACKNOWLEDGED or CARED about our problem at all. I had to come up with the solutions.

The same seems true after the wedding when the fire alarm rang at 4 am and then again at 8:30 am, ruining our sleep, and the instant explanation we were given was that was caused by the earlier water failure.

The issue was partially resolved rather late

The room had an odd temperature dial, but the bed was comfy. When we arrived there was a welcome on the tv which called me Mr Faden. I had also filled in something prior to stay, as was asked to, if i had special requests and so i asked for oat milk which wasnt provided. The room is big enough and most od the staff were nice.

The staff at the front desk were amazing especially the poor lovely lady at the front desk whom had to deal with myself . She actually upgraded us to a luxury suit at no extra cost but the luxury suit fell short . There was a huge red wine stain on the carpet, red wine stains on the wall paper, wall paper coming away from the wall, what looked like a blood stain on the door. The bathroom was tired and had cracks, rust, mildew and poor workmanship on the tiles not to mention a shower curtain. The bed however was very comfortable and the air con was beautifully cold. The room actually grew on me despite the fact it needed a full revamp. The hotel has a \"bistro \" which is in the reception and just higglty pigglty furniture which makes no sense. It was the most bizarre set up. The location was brilliant . The breakfast buffet was okay but price pint pastries etc were used .This hotel could be so much more and in need of modernising. The pictures do not reflect the conditions of the rooms unfortunately but there were plus points to take away .

It was just ok. For the amount we paid it was expensive to not have WiFi and for the tv to not work even after specifically requesting reception to send someone to come fix it was a waste of time. It was very cold and in 1 room still had the details of a previous guest. Just didn’t feel like they wanted us to be there. Small rooms especially for 1 room there were 2 people. Old furnishings and cracked sinks.

Concierge was good though. Zlatan was superb, very helpful and caring with our bags that were delayed from Heathrow and delivered them up to us. Location was convenient to Harrods.

The rooms are in dire need of renovation and the walls are so thin you can hear the conversations in the next room. It’s a wonderful location and the breakfast was decent so if are you looking to save some money versus some of the higher end properties in the neighborhood you may want to take your chance.

I was very disappointed with the overall experience. The bed appeared old, offered little support, and made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The windows in the room did not open, and the air conditioning system only blew hot air, leaving the room stuffy and overheated. Combined, these made sleeping almost impossible.
I reported the issue to the front desk the following morning, and the staff assured me they would escalate it to Head Office and copy me into the correspondence. Unfortunately, no follow-up ever came. After checking out, I also submitted a complaint through the hotel’s website and only received an automated acknowledgement — weeks later, there has still been no further response.
For a hotel in such a prestigious Knightsbridge location, this was well below expectations. The room and facilities feel dated, and guest concerns appear to be overlooked rather than addressed. A good night’s sleep and attentive service are the bare minimum any hotel should deliver, yet neither were achieved during my stay.

We were in 410 on first night. Room was clean but in bad shape. Paint work was scuffed, carpet in very poor condition. Carpet pulled away from join to bathroom. Bathroom had mildew on the ceiling and tiles/grout were in really poor condition. Generally scruffy. We Did not appreciate instant coffee. For this level of hotel a coffee machine should be provided.
After complaining to the manager we were offered choice of two rooms on the 3rd floor. One was as bad as 410, and we settled with 337. Even this larger room was dated showing scuff marks on the furniture and carpet.
Basically this hotel desperately needs renovating. It is situated in Knightsbridge and does not meet Knightsbridge standards but charges Knightsbridge prices. I have stayed in better low budget hotels.
The staff on the whole were customer orientated and pleasant and certainly are to be commended.
We will not stay again at The Millennium not do we recommend it.

Overall nothing like we expected. Everything in the hotel including the room is old and worn out. The bathroom was terrible, the heater in the room didn’t work so they brought us a portable that then would bake the room. About the only thing that was close to acceptable was the breakfast buffet. And I would only rate it has average at best.

Abdul at bell service was terrible. He brought our luggage to the Sloane street entrance because he did not want to take it down the steps on the other side of the hotel. Sloane street is a busy street, with lots of traffic. The taxi could not stand for too long and he refused to help unload the luggage off the trolley.

Phone didn't work and they didn't fix after 2 requests.
Light in the room and toiled was controlled by the same switch which didn't allow to use the light in the toiled at night. Multiple outlets didn't work.

False Advertisment & Scammers

Parking says £45, but is actually £60. I guess they use this for false advertisement. We paid for a room with a city view, but there was no city view. Online it says they do breakfast room service, but they do not. I ordered rose petals as an extra, but did not get them. All fake advertisement to entice people, if I’d have know the above, then I would have booked elsewhere, there are plenty of other nicer hotels for cheaper in the area. On top of this, I have still not recieved a refund for the no city view, apparently it is with head office and nothing they can do. Seem like scammers to me!

Awe full mismanagement and poor services.
1- When we arrived heard hotel is fully booked and they do not have room for us as it was booked by travel agent(Expedia). After almost one hour finally they accepted to give us another room.
2- next day asked us to repackage and move to a twin bed room which was booked by us almost 3 months ago by Expedia. 3 - 4 hours wasting our time for repacking and unpacking in new room.
- given room to us actually does not have “WIFI “every they we claimed for WIFI and they send somebody as technician and this guy confirmed that that there is NO WIFI IN OUR ROOM.but no reaction
- at the day 3 o talked to manager of hotel and she promised to send an engineer to solve our problem but nothing happened.
- at day 4 again I talked with the same manager of hotel and she said working on our wifi problem and try his best to solve problem by day after.
I told her , we booked this hotel for 6 days and even if we have internet at day 5 is useless as we will leave before 8 am of next morning to reach our flight back home Canada and asked her to return part of our hotel charge to compensate giving a hotel room without internet to us through Expedia and also wasting so much time of us and every day upsetting us which she said I ask from my director and let you know.which of course nothing happened.
I expect Expedia to do something as hotel millennium and its personal pissed off our vacation in London.

The checkin was straightforward.

The problem was we ordered a Twin room but ended up with a Double Room. We tried to call Front Desk but after letting it ring for about 6 minutes we gave up and tried 3 times more and no-one answered. Wet hen tried to order room service and again pressed the Room Service button again about 4 times but again no-one answered.

My husband went down from the 12th floor to speak to someone. The lady on the front desk was busy and so he went to the bar and spoke to sa male staff member taff and was explained the problem. He said that we should be pressing number 6 to order room service (no where is this mentioned). He took our order and upon returning to the room he pressed number 6 but it was out of order.

When the food arrived it was cold and no bottle opener. The waiter return with said item and we said that food was cold and he apologised and that was it.

We mentioned all the above to the lady on Reception and she said she woudl report it to her Manager and someone would be in touch but todate no-one has.

The good points about the hotel was location for Knightsbridge and the view from the room.

First time we have stayed at the Millenium hotel we didn’t know where to park we were sent on a goose chase around Knightsbridge to get to the car park
We were told it was cheaper parking we paid £50 per night.
The room was clean but very tired and the bathroom was clean but very tired.
I think we may have been in the worst room
In the hotel but at least we had a lovely meal out at the Goring with our friend from the USA

The property outside the public areas needs to have a make-over. I stayed in two rooms, a normal room and a club room and both were tired and in need of some care and attention. The hotel is also noisy with thin walls causing TVs and conversations to be heard in your own room. The location is amazing - and I feel the hotel could be - but isn't in its current state.
4-star prices for a 2/3 star feel unfortunately.

The rooms do not look anything like the photos. Maybe the high end rooms do, but the general double rooms do not. Check in was slow. I was given a new room when I mentioned both these things in my checkin feedback. The room was definitely better, but still not what I expected when I booked.

The Hotel is perfectly located, the views from upper floor rooms are breathtaking, but It is quite worn out and squeecky everywhere.
The staff is somewhat careless(negligent) and seems like they are not motivated anymore to provide an excellent service.This iconic property has so much more potential if renewed and revived.
