Staff at the front desk and manager went above and beyond. They helped us recover an item left in an Uber. They were alway friendly and helpful with suggestions. The neighborhood had upscale shopping. Transportation was readily available on Sloane Square. Very walkable as well. Room was very attractive and comfortable. They gave us a tiny room with a very small space for hanging things, no drawers, no cupboards for clothes. We complained and they gave us a much better room with more hanging space, cupboards with shelves. Way better.
Plug for the hair dryer far from mirror, had to dry my hair standing 21/2 feet from mirror, turned out terrible. Otherwise, great location, very close to tube station, a big advantage.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Stay on Sloane

The hotel enjoys a prime location directly on Sloane Square, just 100 metres from the nearest Underground station, offering easy access to the rest of the city. Despite the central setting, the rooms were remarkably quiet, with no noise disturbances.

We booked three double rooms. Some overlooked the street and the square, while others faced the rear of the building. All rooms were quiet, regardless of orientation. A few rooms had windows facing a nearby church, with limited views due to proximity to a wall, and one room had partially sealed windows, which made it feel a little less pleasant.

The rooms are compact but comfortable, exceptionally clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are adequately spacious. Personally, I found the shower head situated within a small bathtub slightly inconvenient, though this is a matter of personal preference. High-quality toiletries by Elemis were provided, which was a nice touch.

The surrounding area is lively and charming, with numerous restaurants and cafés, including a nearby pedestrian street lined with shops and coffee houses. Overall, an excellent base for exploring London, thanks to its superb location and convenient transport links.

It's in a good location - a short walk to nice food, great shops and the tube. Our room was 2nd floor facing the road. You could hear the traffic a little but not too much, particularly with the aircon on. The room and bathroom were quite small (the bathroom was tiny!) - and expensive given it is summer - but the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and hot and the air con worked well. And plenty of good quality bathroom supplies. It was also spotlessly clean. Staff were very polite and efficient. It's a nice hotel and other than avoiding high prices across London in the summer, I'd be happy to stay here again.

Great location in London on the edge of Chelsea and Belgravia. Lots to walk around and see in the area and right across from a Tube station. Our initial room was designed for disability accommodations and had no view and a bathroom with an open shower that flooded the entire room when you showered. We were able to upgrade to a much nice and more acceptable room after the first night.

Hotel was lovely, the only thing was the shower head that spurted out at the ceiling making the whole bathroom soaked. Great position for transport links and slightly out of the way of the carnage at Christmas!

Disappointing when previous stays have been great

Stayed here many times, and had no complaints, however I could only find a double room this time and I was very disappointed. It hadn’t been cleaned properly and a half full bottle of wine was left in the room. Neither myself or partner could fit in the shower - it was tiny!! And the room was street facing and incredibly noisy. I’ve always stayed in the Felix or club rooms and I certainly wouldn’t book this type of room again.

no qiuetion but that the sloane square rgion is top class. limited traffic, very quiet. numerous buses, serving area. shops and restaurannts are limitedand really service the top class. difficult to find a `neighborhood` pub.
rooms are small and have difficuly getting two chairs into a room.
poskitve notewas that they kindly `bent` the times for arriving and departing as i requuested thanks !!!

Wonderful Stay

Our second time staying at Sloane Square Hotel. It always provides friendly service. In addition my husband left his medicine in the refrigerator in our room, and we received a call sometime later that the cleaning staff had discovered it

The Pictures are of the best rooms.

The hotel was nice, clean and in a good part of town. Very close to the tube (Circle/District lines). The hotel/rooms were clean and nicely appointed.

The rooms in the pictures are not representative of what we got. Please note that when they say that \"some\" rooms face Sloane Square and \"some\" rooms face the church... you may be looking down a small alley to a brick wall of the church. I could only tell when I looked at Google Maps that it was probably the church.

We rented a Twin room and the room was tiny with only a desk, night stand, luggage rack and a wardrobe with no drawers. The bed was similar to a futon in comfort, but the bedding was nice. This is not a hotel to stay in, it's one to sleep in.

Maybe the rooms average 215 sq ft, but ours seemed like it brought the average down. The bathroom was smaller than on a cruise ship (picture attached). The shower was under 1m square and the door may have opened 12 inches to let someone in. Don't drop anything on the floor if you're showering.

Oh, and don't mind the flat screen tv that covers part of the wardrobe and bathroom door. Something else to bump into in the middle of the night.

With that said, I won't stay here again. If I could ask for money back, I would. While the hotel was nice, this was the worst part of my trip.

Just wanted a cup of tea

Good hotel, perfectly positioned. One problem; no kettle in the room. Instead there was some sort of coffee machine that was presumably plugged in but almost inaccessible. The lead wouldn’t allow it to be moved from its shelf and the position of it prevented you from working out how to operate it. The hotel had placed an array of tea bags next to it, presumably to taunt me. Only a small gripe but I’d have been far happier with just a kettle that actually worked.

Good choice for stays in Chelsea

We opted to stay at this hotel due to it's location near our planned activities and we were not disappointed. It's obviously an older building so rooms are compact. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed and some things we didn't. The TV is much too large for the size of the room. And nearly all of the closet space has been given over to a minibar & stocked refrigerator, coffee service, etc. As a result, there is no space to hang coats, dresses, etc, and the room safe is literally on the floor of the closet. That placement makes it very , very difficult to use, especially for older guests. The staff were terrific, the continental breakfast was very nice. The neighborhood is very upscale with lots of restaurants, shopping, and the wonderful Royal Court Theatre within easy walking distance. Great access to the Underground, buses and taxi service.

Wonderful location and easy access to anywhere in central London. Sadly ‘wonderful’ doesn’t describe the hotel. Check-in didn’t work - I was early so after registration a male staff member asked me to wait in the lounge on the first floor. Fine, except they were meant to bring the key to me when the room was ready. They forgot and I had to drag my luggage back down to reception to chase the key. When I explained I was told by another male member of staff ‘well, no-one told me’. No apology or even a smile. The room was very small and the shower the smallest I’d ever come across - I could barely get in it. One blessing was that it was quiet, next door to the church. A nice touch was the complimentary afternoon coffee and scones .

Charming old world hotel. Room was small, but cozy. Loved the breakfast room, overlooking Sloane Square. Great breakfast service and variety. Loved and appreciated the complementary tea, coffee and scones with clotted cream and jam in the afternoon. Courteous and helpful staff. Three minute walk to underground station. Excellent dining and shopping opportunities within walking distance. Overall - safe, quiet, convenient hotel.

A very nice hotel in a great location. Excellent & friendly staff. The room was charming, but the air conditioning never cooled the room sufficiently (I told several people about that during our stay, but it was apparently not fixable). Also, the continental breakfast was average.... and cost 20 pounds! (with less options than you would get from a free breakfast elsewhere). All that said, the hotel was very nice overall and we would genrrally recommend it.

We liked the boutique quaint feeling and breakfast was excellent. Restaurant not so good. Our key cards did not work and we had to return to checkin. The breakfast room was lovely overlooking the square. I'm sure it will be even nicer when the lobby remodel is done.

the only issue - was that the shower was so small, anyone over 150# cannot actually fit into it- even at 125# i found it extremely difficult to access and could not shampoo my hair without turning off the water - still my elbows hit the sides of the shower repeatedly- i have never seen. such a tight situation

I want to start by saying that the staff were amazing and attentive and the room was great. However, a combination of the room not being fully equipped when we checked in and the ongoing works, which we only found out about after we booked, took the shine off the visit. We would happily stay here again as I think these were short-term issues.
