The rooms are small, but immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and a great location.

The only disappointment was that the hotel was unable to provide toothpaste when I found I'd forgotten to bring some, late at night. I was called back to be told that I could go out to a 24hr shop. This isn't ideal when you're ready to go to bed; other hotels would carry basic amenities for such small requirements.

However, I'd happily stay here again.

Service was disappointing. Staff were fine, rooms were fine, but there was no sense of welcome or occasion. No information about facilities when we checked in and unfortunately the gentleman who helped us when we first arrived to drop our bags off had really poor personal hygiene and the whole first impression on arrival was of this dreadful smell of body odour. Not what we expected. Would try Sloane Square Hotel next time.

Carefully check your bill !

Excellent location, room ok (noisy cleaners) but breakfast service slow and Wi-Fi kept dropping. Worst of all however was the fact that for the second time I was charged for a breakfast that was included in the rate, and billed to me despite me not signing anything. I only noticed this from a review of my credit card transactions - while this was later refunded, as this was not the first time this has happened to me at Sloane Place, I will not be returning.
As to breakfast, every day I had to ask for milk to accompany my coffee, and also for preserves to accompany my toast.
All in all, rather formulaic and staff going through the motions.

The room was lovely and welcoming my sleep was awful due to the bed/beds as I had an upgrade but when I got into bed in the evening as I had been out in the evening.

The bed had a slit in the middle and wasn’t comfortable it was late at night and I didn’t want to pack my case and move rooms ! I ended up sleeping on the chair which wasn’t comfortable and a duvet over me the pillows on the bed was poor quality too !

I checked out and told the lady I am sorry for checking out late by 15 minutes but my sleep was not good I was hoping to speak about the issue but I felt like she wanted me to check out and go not great customer service at all !

I stayed at the Sloane Club years ago, and it was perfect for a woman traveling alone. Chic, quiet, convenient and a great neighborhood.
Our stay would e been perfect this time, if they weren’t doing renovations to their restaurant right outside our window.

Wish we had been told in advance of arriving.

Nevertheless, the room and bathroom were lovely, staff were great, room service delicious, and the location remains the best.

Clean bathroom lovely bathroom products, look of room nicely decorated but carpet so dirty and mattress needed to be replaced as the side had come away from this stitching or it felt like that !! and the under pillow case were clean but looked dirty as they were very very worn. I think if they changed these few bad points they would definitely get five star.

I have stayed here before and felt that although expensive, it was worth the luxury. However this time, our room was very tired, carpet was badly stained, rust in the bathroom, and chipped paint. The air conditioning did not work at all. I was really disappointed. It is rare for me to complain. I never do it. I think the hotel needs to hear though, that not everyone is ok with spending so much money to be uncomfortable.

One thing to note, the main lobby closes at midnight so if you come back to the hotel expect to find a locked door and a sign taped to the window pointing you down the street to another entrance. It caught me off guard as there was no signage previously or mention at check in.

Whilst the room itself was satisfactory - ultimately I have to give this property a poor review. It was advertised as offering a free room upgrade to VIP members and this was denied despite upgrades being available. I even showed the lady on reception my phone with the promise of upgrade - and she bluntly told me you get the room you chose at time of booking. Very disappointed.

Absolutely lovely location and great room, got a nice upgrade. The front desk girls on arrival were a little ingenuine for me but the staff in the evening and next morning were super great. The location for this is amazing - will def go back

My room was small but comfortable for one person. If had been traveling with another person I would have gotten a bigger room. Cosy is SMALL. The windows were very leaky and I should have said something earlier but when I did, staff did give me a blanket to cut the draft. Staff were extremely attentive and professional. All I. All a good experience and I recommend this hotel.

Cons: sewerage smell from bathroom due to poor drainage pipe work. Water build up when showering in the bath meant standing in ankle deep water when showering. Room safe did not work and was unusable despite raising this issue with a member of staff.

Lovely area well connected with underground, lots of walkable sites to explore. Hotel next door is being refurbished which you look onto some noise and talking but nothing too early or late so never bothered us.Food at hotel was first class from the breakfast in the morning all freshly madeeith quality ingredients. Valentines meal again was delicious and didn't disappoint found it value for money compared to other hotels/restaurants. We would definitely return to this hotel.
