Great location but this hotel needs a decoration update, layout and amenities fine but the windows are in need of a paint and draughty and the door lock was a bit cranky! The rooms are comfy and for the price it’s good value and the beds are comfortable. Friendly helpful staff and good location

Well, the stuff was great, trying to do what was the best in the circumstances: I was told that I'd been upgraded on my arrival, but somehow along the way I did not get it. The management was inhospitable, first 1 bedroom apartment looked like a studio being remodeled into a 1 bedroom apt., second one was cleaned with some chemicals which made me think about a crime scene. I used to book this hotel because I know the area well, price – I come there to sleep. Still, the housekeeping is very much appreciated.

Room was nice but very small. Helpful to have a washer/dryer however dryer didn’t completely dry clothes— there was a drying rack that we were able to use in the room though. Having the amenities of a washer and kitchenette, in addition to a multi room apartment made our stay much easier. Would definitely stay here again now that I’ve got the hang of things.

⭐️ Misleading Listing – Not as Advertised

I stayed at this property for 7 days, and the room was not as advertised at all. The apartment looked completely different from the pictures shown on Expedia. I raised a complaint the same day I checked in after seeing the room because it was not what we booked.

The front desk staff explained that there are “around 400 apartments and they don’t all look alike,” which is not a reasonable justification when specific photos are used to advertise a booking. Our reservation was fully prepaid and non-refundable, leaving us with no real options.

Because of a very tight travel schedule, we did not have the time to contact Expedia, request a refund, and find alternative accommodations at the last minute. Otherwise, we would not have stayed.

We have never had an experience where the accommodation was completely different from the listing photos. This felt misleading and disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.I have videos but unfortunately this review doesn’t give me the option to do it

The staff was friendly. I was worried that it would be loud since I was on first floor right on street, but I was in back and neighborhood was quiet even on weekend. There is a Sainsbury on same block, so groceries are very close, & it's only a ten minute walk to the South Kensington Tube station in one direction and ten-minute walk to the V&A in the other. So many different bus stops close by, too. You can get anywhere from here. The room is small, but it has most things you need, including a washer/dryer and drying rack.

The room was good, had everything I needed. But it could have done with freshening up with a lick of paint. It was quite noisy, being on the second floor and having single glazing so the noise from the street below woke me up.
The bed was comfortable and the linen was good quality and spotless.
I would stay here again, it did everything I needed.

Staff were brilliant . I use a wheel chair and the main lifts were out of order but staff gave me rear excess key next to there service lift which really helped

Only issue i had room was really hot and i had no way adjusting thr temperature in the room which i just had to open the windows but being on 6th floor and having yoing child with me was a worry .

The main windows do open all the way they should have a way to stop this as i was worred toleave windows open perhaps a security chain or some style lock

Comfortable, modern, and well thought-out!

We had a lovely stay in this clean and stylish apartment. The bedroom was cozy and inviting, with soft linens and a minimalist design that felt both relaxing and upscale. The studio layout was impressively efficient—everything we needed was right at hand, from the compact kitchenette with all the essentials (microwave, kettle, toaster) to the dining area that doubled as a great spot to unwind.

The bathroom was spacious shower and elegant marble-style tiles that gave it a spa-like feel.

Overall, the space was thoughtfully arranged and perfect for a short city break. A few tiny touches could elevate it even further (perhaps a splash of color and repainting the walls), but we were genuinely pleased and would happily return!

Good management of Chelsea Cloisters overall with friendly staff, except the main elevators in the lobby were closed! Apparently been like that for several months which was a disgrace. There were two other elevators around the back quite a distance and up and down stairs from the lobby. We are in our 80's and with with three suitcases and hand luggage this was not acceptable.
Once out of the elevator on the 4th floor we had a walk of .21 of a mile which was again unacceptable.
I don't know whether the apartment was owned by a third party and then rented out to you or whoever but there some issues. The furniture was definitely basic and there was no small coffee type table in the living room so one had to put cups and glasse on the floor! After my repeated complaing the lobby staff finally got a small table for us. There was a table lamp but stuck behind the TV---there was nowhere tp put it---wierd!
Very small kitchen with room for one person, bathroom and shower were fine and the bedroom was very small, one cupbord only.
For the $ we had paid it really was not very acceptable value and we won't be returning.
How do I get a refund please?

The room was clean and bright. The bed was comfy and on the 8th floor it was nice and quiet. Kitchenette was good and well equipped - bette than I had expected.

The corridors to the room were ok but a touch dystopian. As a burly dude I was fine but could be intimidating if you are more vulnerable.

The main front lift being broken was a pain as you could only use the back one, which was small and happened to be very far from my room. I was only there one night and things break so it may be fixed by now.

We were booked elsewhere and it was cancelled short notice. Expedia rebooked this, which was quite a bit more above budget. Unfortunately it is in need of some basic upgrades. Please see photos, but very rusty and dirty windframes, mold on wood, the lumpiest pillows, and quite noisy at night with Lorrie’s/vans parked outside at 3am. Shame bc it has potential.

The room was fine and in good condition. It’s quite small but I appreciated having the small kitchen and especially washing machine/dryer which was the reason I booked this place. The washing machine is very very loud at certain points although when you close the door the sound is muffled and not too bad. For some reason I also thought laundry cleaner would be provided but it wasn’t so I went out and bought my own. I was only there for 4 days so I left the rest behind for the next person.

I do need to mention one incident which I didn’t raise with the front desk at the time because I had bookings to get to and it kind of slipped my mind. One morning I woke to a knock on my door and opened to find two men who looked to be maintenance type staff standing there advising they needed to come in and change the mirror. I was still half asleep at this point and said right now? They said yes. I ended up letting them in (all the while inwardly berating myself for allowing this, this is how true crime stories start) and had to wait around for around an hour for the job to be done so I could get myself ready to leave. At this point the time was after 10.15am. I was not given any warning that this would be happening and I would recommend this to the hotel in future especially if occupants are solo travellers and female, at that.

Outside of that, my stay was great.

I'm older and in part chose Chelsea Cloister because it has an elevator. Ironically, I was placed on the ground floor, which involved two sets of stairs! Two very kindly people (other residents) helped me with my bags. There were open window panes at the top of my room, which was fine temperature wise for me. But it meant that I heard all the street noise (car stereos, conversations, people spilling out of the back door) all the time. And the whiff of tobacco smoke also came through. The water kettle and toaster were broken, and there was a coffee press but no teapot. I heated up the water on the induction stove but it wasn't the same as tea brewed in a pot. I was given two partial rolls of toilet paper, which was sufficient, but it was disconcerting to look in the bathroom cabinet and find it empty. The underground strike was on during my stay, so I took a lot of Ubers and taxis. The front desk charges 2 pounds for calling you a taxi, which I found out when I went to settle up. The Good Life cafe just down the street was a wonderful place to eat and hang out. Chelsea Cloister has many good things to recommend it, in addition to the drawbacks that I've outlined.

The location is amazing!
The size of the room and kitchen for the short period of time is great.
Downside smelled bad. Smelled like molding and cigarette.
I kept the windows open the whole time for the smell.
The front desk stuff at the check in was ok

I had to carry my luggage up and downs small stairs instead of telling me that the hall elevator was going to the same place and I just had to walk more.
I would’ve rather walk with my luggage (has wheel) than going up and down stairs carrying myself .

Pictures don’t look like reality at all.

I endured extreme cyber warfare and economic espionage facilitated by the staff on their WiFi networks. They even brought in electricians, shut down the elevators and made me climb nine floors in and out. They also entered my room and took pictures of my receipts for sims and new devices that were ruined as a result, They had also stolen the charging cable to destroy evidence. I have asked for a refund and got nothing. I intend to dispute this with my bank and sue them along with every hotel that cooperates with the Epstein network who is doing this to me.

Great place in walking distance to lots of London areas including the Kings Road Chelsea.

Property was an upgrade for me so plenty big enough for one and it was kitted out with everything you could possibly need.

I would have liked a few more home furnishings in the main living area including a side table, cushions on the sofa and a rug on the floor to make it feel a bit more homely.

There was issues with the use of the windows not functioning properly but otherwise it was a really nice place.

Definitely good value too and ideal area to base yourself in central London.

We stayed as a group of three, and while the space is a bit small and not luxurious, it had everything we needed to cook a simple meal. There’s a supermarket just two minutes away, which helps save on water and snacks.

It was quite hot and there’s no air conditioning, but the hosts were very helpful and brought us fans that made a big difference. The location is great—there are restaurants and public transportation nearby and a Starbucks just 5 minutes away.

The reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because, once we set up the sofa bed (since we were three people), the space felt very tight. Also, being at street level means there’s some noise.

Overall, great service and a convenient place to stay if you’re looking for something practical and well located.

Apartment located in a very pretty and safe area. Lovely cafes and restaurants near by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Hyde Park. You'll need to take public transport or taxi to get to Westminster and other sites. Apartment was clean, although kitchen a little tired looking. No air conditioning in the room. Which would have been great as there was a heatwave during my stay. It was great to have a washing machine in the room.

Our 4th floor room had significant mould in the bathroom over the shower and the window.
There was lots of noise from the Sainsburys and other businesses nearby overnight and early morning which meant a very disturbed sleep.
There is only one of two lift from the reception area working - with people unwilling to take the stairs, it meant long queues and over a 30 minute wait for a lift that was empty enough to fit me and my suitcase.
We were only provided 1 room key for 2 people which was impractical. One night I asked reception for assistance to access my room as my partner was unwell and had returned to the room with our key to go to sleep. I was categorically denied by front desk staff who said it was a security risk, which was ridiculous given
the room booking was in my name and I had appropriate Identification.
Can’t say I will be rushing back, which is unfortunate given the great location of this place. It has good potential but definitely needs some work.

We were ‘upgraded’ to 2 bedroom suite. However, the rooms were very tired and chipped. The bathroom had mould between the tiles etx and the windows were absolutely filthy around the frames. The windows are metal single glazed and didn’t close properly so the noise was terrible. It would be really cold and draughty in winter. The bedding was clean the towels were okay.
Staff and reception are really lovely and so helpful. They stored our luggage for us.
The location is excellence for the Chelsea Flower Show and for Battersea Power Station. Kings Road is a great shopping area.

Chelsea Cloisters - Beware

During my 3 night stay, I parked my car by the street just 1 min away from the reception. My car was broken into and my rear windows were smashed. When I asked the reception about this, one of the staff said he saw the windows smashed around 6am in the morning but it was not the their responsibility to report to the police. They were unable to provide accurate CCTV footage to teh police even though they had CCTV. Further, when I asked for extension for 1 hour on Check Out day, as I had to wait for window repairers to clear out the glass in my car; I was told they could only extend 30 mins. I had to speak to manager in the office and she agreed to extend to 12 noon. The reception was unhelpful and unfriendly. Safety around this area is poor and criminals are at work around here. Do not stay here if you have to drive your car here. The evening before, their fire systems were activated and 3 fire trucks attended though I was told it was just a system failure. The place does not feel safe at all.

Pretty good studio space with hob and oven , washing and drying , good bathroom, however it was pee in the toilet and hair when I arrived , so that tells me , the cleaning isn’t very thorough. Great find in Chelsea neighborhood. Great for shopping or just walking the neighborhood. Love the concept of having a flat but in hotel setting. One note - on previous stats I guess I was in executive studio which is remodeled and sparkling clean. This trip I needed an early check in and got an older studio - footboard on bed was dirty, closets old and sticky. A bit depressing but did not affect my overall trip. Everything else great.

Staff beyond great. Rooms rough around the edges

Firstly a shout out to the amazing staff. All of them are super lovely kind helpful and are fantastic in every way. However the rooms are a little rough around the edges and the street noise is insane. Ask for an interior room. In the 6 nights I stayed I witnessed a car being broken into. A party van with extremely loud music clearly selling dr*gs, delivery of laundry at 3am in a truck which was so noisy. I’ve lived in central london on and off for years and never experienced these things.

Overall great location and handy for what we wanted but could do with a bit more attention to detail on cleaning and place is worn in areas but to be expected if constantly filled.

This was a convenient property for me to stay at for my meeting. Unfortunately the room I was given was nothing like the images on the website I booked through. My room was noisy from the traffic outside. It was only secondary glazed. The windows on the bathroom and kitchen were not secondary glazed and were old rusty with many panes cracked and broken. The final issue was the damp on the wall of my bedroom from the en-suite bathroom. It may have been convenient and cheap but I would rather have paid a little more for a nicer hotel. One positive was that the bed was very comfortable.

Great location !

I have stayed many times at the Chelsea Cloisters, and this was certainly the smallest room I’ve ever had. Not thrilled that there was no bath plug on arrival so couldn’t have a bath then, but this was remedied the next day. But I so enjoy the location, and I look forward to my next stay there in a month’s time.

Really well located for transport links, local museums, easy walking distance to good range of eateries.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room cosy but well equipped. Couple of things in room need a little paint/ tlc but kitchenette area looked very new.and room equipped.well.

Great location. Property reasonable priced Beware of noise issue though, if assigned a room on the street side of the property We booked a five night stay and had to request a move to the rear of the building on the second night due to traffic noise all night.
