Fantastic hotel in the perfect spot - leafy street in walking distance of two tube stations, restaurants and amenities.

Always feels like a home away from home - it’s so relaxed and private.

Only potential downside is the rumble from the trains underneath - so just a word of caution for any light sleepers. Personally, I like it - gives it some old world charm!

Good service. No bar. No resturant (though food can be brought in), limited staff, so expect a wait getting into hotel, as door is kept locked. Nice hotel. Nice rooms, decor good, though they’re not fully soundproof - we could hear next door’s conversations!

Had the loveliest stay here. The staff are so kind and welcoming. The room was more than comfortable with all the amenities and even items if you forgot something. A nighttime tea on the pillow and heated bathroom floor was the icing on the cake. Very conveniently located and was able to easily walk to several sights. Highly recommend!

Overall a lovely stay in a great location. We had little hiccup at the start but Jack kindly found a solution. It's a lovely property and everything - from the sheets to the shower gel to the tea - is of high quality. The breakfast was fabulous. My husband enjoyed the sauna in the morning. You do hear the underground in the rooms and some of the rooms are a bit small but that is London. I would still highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Love the Adria

This was our second time at the Adria and it was great. The staff were professional and accommodating. The initial room was not entirely suitable for a person with a hip issue however Dominic the manager arranged for us to be moved the next day to another room that had a bath and walk-in shower. Dureka, was kind enough to move our luggage so when we came back from the day’s activity we just went to the new room. Mariana was great too. Enjoyed our stay.

The staff are friendly and professional. They easily remembered our daily requests without reminder. House keeping was prompt and turndown service was excellent. I really enjoyed the novel approach they have to in house dining. They partner with local establishments to deliver your dinner directly to the property’s formal dining room. One-site breakfast has many options. Bonus, the room we were in had heated bathroom floors.
Walking distance to underground stations, and several museums a few blocks away, make this a great location. I would happily come back.

The Adria Hotel has been my go to for my yearly trips to London. I love the South Kensington location, super close to everything. The hotel is so pretty, understated elegance. The bed is super comfortable and I love that all rooms have a bathtub!

Quick check in. I've stayed in the same room twice before. I like knowing what to expect. This time small dust bin under desk missing so I had to use the bathroom one. Hot water took a while to come through; ended up having to ask reception desk to come to the room to advise. I will most likely stay here again, though.

Beautiful boutique hotel with some minor areas

Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Very well located in Kensington between Gloucester Road and South Kensington rube stations. Lots of great common areas. Staff was lovely and very helpful.

Room wasn’t as well cleaned as we would have liked. Headboard and lamps were dusty. There was also large noticeably later amounts of dust accumulated on some of the upper walls. Furniture was slightly worn out. Pillows were poor and we had to ask them to be changed. Breakfast buffet setting was lovely but some items run out.

I liked the Tea Bar in the lobby. There is a cost but it's such a nice, welcoming thing to have upon walking in to the hotel. I had the Walnut Cake with some tea and a moment to sit down and rest during the check-in process before I walked over the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The only downside to this property was the fact that I only got to stay there for one night. I will definitely return on a future trip because I feel like I found a gem.

Great location in South Kensington between the Gloucester Road and South Kensington tube stops and close to the V&A, Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Kensington Gardens.

The staff were excellent and welcoming. The property is beautiful. The room was elegantly decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was a showplace with a great tub perfect for relaxing in after a long day in London.

I was immensely surprised when I walked into the property as I had no idea what to expect and I couldn't have been more pleased. Since my stay was so short, I can't speak to any amenities or to the breakfast.

I highly recommend this wonderful little hotel.

The Adria is a very beautiful boutique hotel. From the elaborate light fittings to classic furnishings to floral displays and even an entertainment tray with dice and cards - the Adria demonstrates a sophistication that is both unique and rare in central London. On a more practical level, the separate bath (with tv!) and shower, spacious bathroom and dressing gowns offered real luxury, whilst the bed afforded me the best night's sleep I had had in ages. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It was bliss and just the escape I needed.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of South Kensington tube station and the museums and is close to excellent cafes and restaurants of varying price ranges, i.e Maison Choux and Gail's (personal favourites for pastries)
The staff are exceptional and can't do enough to help. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone - it is a real gem.
Note to management: after having posted about my stay on social media, I received several comments re. poor spelling on your website. I also noticed examples of awkward phrasing on signs in the hotel. Although I am not bothered about this, others seemingly are, so it might be worth making amendments where necessary. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room was luxurious but beyond the room there was no socialization amenities such as a bar/lounge or restaurant.
The continental breakfast was basic in fact one morning we were allotted only a single cup each.

The sitting areas are so comfortable, we chose to relax in more than one of them rather than spend time enjoying London. Second Stay at Adria Won’t Go Again

This was our second time staying at the Adria. We went back back because the first stay was superb: wonderful room (named ‘Umbrella’) and a warm greeting when we arrived including tea served in the reception.This second visit was far less enjoyable. The room (this one named ‘Tea’) was tiny and cramped, with no space to put anything down, and stuck in a back corner of the building even though the place wasn’t full. My wife arrived before me and was given an unfriendly greeting by the same person who’d previously been so generous. She was even asked for her passport, even though we live nearby! So we’ll think again before visiting the Adria. South Kensington is certainly not short of hotels to choose from.

I h e styed here before and it never disappoints. The public rooms (3 living rooms, dining room, bar ) are super,comfortable and decorated in an eclectic Moroccan style with plenty of lovely touches such as a lit fireplace, beautiful flowers, gorgeous tiles and a waterfall as well as snacks and drinks.
The rooms are equally tasteful - no,expense seems to have been spared with the custom furniture, wallpaper, bath and showers as well as the beautiful mosaic,tiling. Everything is perfect! including the extremely comfortable beds. I styed in a King Deluxe room.

The service is impeccable and nothing is too much trouble for the very friendly staff.

The location is fantastic - a block from Gloucester Rd tube, which runs straight to Heathrow.- at 45 minutes much quicker(and way cheaper) than a taxi!
The hotel is in South Kensington, 15 minutes walk from Kensington High Street and Kensington Palace Gardens. . The Natural,History Museum and the V and A are 5 minutes walk.

Fabulous hotel in a prime location in South Kensington, just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum and the V&A. Beautifully appointed rooms with marble bathrooms and a kitchenette. Common areas are also lovely and breakfast is good. Food is halal which is great for Muslim guests. Posh hotel in a posh neighborhood.

The building is beautiful and all of the common areas are straight out of a decorating magazine. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom was tiny. I’m glad I am a small person...anyone much larger would have a very hard time functioning in that bathroom, especially in the shower.

We stayed at Adria boutique hotel on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed it! The complementary mini bar is a really nice touch and really handy for water! The air conditioning didn’t seem to be working in our room but luckily it wasn’t too hot in London at the time. They serve afternoon tea in the lobby and small snacks which is a nice break if you are out touring the city. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this very nice hotel in a great neighbourhood.

Beautiful hotel in a great South Kensington location. Reception is very difficult to find, not signposted and therefore not at all welcoming to be roaming the corridors looking for it. It should be made more clear in the description of the hotel, that this hotel does not have a bar or indeed serve alcohol, either in the mini bar or room service. Obviously this is our oversight for not checking, but in this day and age and in this central location we had assumed that it would. If booking this hotel, request a high floor as tube noise can be heard from the lower floors.

Our stay at the Adria was great. The hotel is beautiful and located in a lovely area close to the tube. The decor is wonderful and the rooms are a great size with good facilities and a comfortable bed. The cleanliness of the room was excellent.
The air con in our room broke and after informing staff, the tried to rectify the problem. When it was realised it couldn’t be fixed, the immediately gave us another room. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location on the Picadilly Line. Cute in a cloak and dagger way. The plumbing needs work. Despite new fixtures, water temperature is variable and pipes are pulling out of the wall. Pretty, but sometimes has inconvenient design elements. The service runs hot and cold. The kitchen puts out good food. But, it’s mostly Arabic. The WiFi runs as slow as dial up. So, don’t go there if you need to get work done. But, the rooms are large and the bed is comfortable.

Our second stay there won’t be a third!

This was our second stay at the Adria there won’t be a third. The hotel itself is very comfortable but as a returning guest we had no recognition that we’d stayed before and as before we found the staff very unfriendly No One Smiles!
When there was a mix up over breakfast ( I thought it was included) they made us feel very embarrassed in the way they told us that it wasn’t,as if we were trying to avoid payment.
Also I reported an accident that had occurred in the room when a poorly stored rack feel out of the wardrobe on to my foot cutting and bruising it, although I had an apology no record of the incident was made although I requested that it was noted.
The main reason though we won’t return is down to how unfriendly the staff were.

Room was so hot we had to open the window at night and substantial road noise outside keep us awake. Bathroom shower temperature was too hot and would not cool down. Bathroom sink whistled loudly when on. Would not stay there again.

Although the room was small it had all the finishing touches - huge mirrors, smartphone with unlimited data to take around the city, underfloor heating, huge monsoon shower, free mini bar, coffee machine. We had a night of luxury! Amazing staff too, so friendly and treat you like royalty. Thank you!

Nice, but not really worth the money.

Very friendly service. Good location. Nice design features. Comfortable rooms. Impossible to work light switches though (sounds like a minor thing but it is really annoying!) We could hear the tube trains from our first floor room, but these stop during the night. Bathroom needed a shaving mirror as the mirror was a long way from the sink (again, sounds minor but you try shaving when the mirror is a nearly a metre from your face!) Continental breakfast was definitely not up to scratch - I've had far better in lower quality hotels.

Overall, it's nice but probably wouldn't pay that much for it.

A very good looking hotel in a great location. However our standard double room was tiny, we couldn't even pass each other at the end of the bed! The dimensions of the room are not stated on the room info - now I know why! For almost £200 this is not really acceptable. I had to ask for toilet paper, and for milk, but both arrived promptly. The TV lost internet connection so wouldn't work, but the bathroom is beautifully appointed and the bed is comfortable. Warning - if you come by car you have to use a local car park which is £50 for 24 hours! There's very little on street parking.

Lovely little gem of a hotel in an excellent neighborhood. Very helpful staff and comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms and sitting rooms. This was my second time staying there and I’ll definitely be back.

Great, with just a few exceptions!

For the most part, the hotel was wonderful. The good: The room was tasteful and a good size, and we particularly loved the heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom! The staff was friendly and they graciously watched our luggage since we got in before our room was ready. The bed was probably the best hotel bed I've ever had and it was great that we could control the temperature in our own room. It was a quick walk to the Tube and there was lots of great food around. You had to be buzzed into the hotel which added a sense of security. The bad: When we first got there, I guess the hotel was rather empty because it was very quiet at night. As it started to fill up, we learned that the walls were a little thin. The person above us sounded like they were constantly dragging around furniture and that ruined the ambiance a bit. One night, a hotel employee was doing room checks and they actually walked into our room while we were sleeping. They apologized and I didn't feel the need to report it, but it was odd. The WiFi was definitely spotty and was down for a whole day which was tough on our international data plan at night. We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning and were never given the option to order anything hot as advertised on their site, so we paid a good amount of money for some fruit and croissants.

Overall, I'd stay here again - but I'd definitely want it to be during a time when the hotel is not busy.

Adorable, Comfortable, Nice Hotel

The hotel room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. The hotel staff were top notch and so was the whole hotel itself.

What I really loved about our stay was that they provided a device called a “Handy”. Which is an android phone that we were able to use for FREE to navigate around London without using our own data. Completely helpful!

Hopefully we will be able to come back :)
