Beautifully presented hotel, with lovely individually-decorated rooms. It was very quiet, only noise was from the air con fan that even when off kept making a noise. Very good shower pressure, great toiletries, nice big bath towels, and comfy bed! Perfect location, right by the tube and only a ten minute walk from many museums.

I had a small double for 1 person costing £189 for 1 night . so not much of a cheap option . The room was small as expected. The bathroom was unacceptable small if i had been any larger would not have been able to get in shower or Use the toilet!!!! Im Average build !! These rooms are not cheap enough … very good location. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming.
Worth a visit but don't book the small double if your over 11 stone 😳

The hotel itself close to amenities - shops, convenience stores, bars, restaurants all walkable and it has excellant transport options if needed.

The location was fabulous. The double classic room was quite tiny so we upgraded to two doubles. Definitely worth the extra charge for my daughter and me as we were staying multiple days. The service in the bar is remarkably slow but the cocktails and bites are quite nice. Would definitely choose hotel again.

Staff were really helpful, genuinely couldn’t do enough. We had travelled from Staffordshire by train and were able to leave our bags being reception until we were leaving London

The room was a lovely size and we had a travel cot let in the room for our little boy. The bathroom was really nice although instructions s on how to work the shower and which tap did what would have stopped me spraying myself in the face with the shower and attachment while trying to turn the main shower on!

The room had a coffee machine, kettle and water with plenty of tea and instant coffee options which the staff were happy to fill up if needed

Breakfast was lovely and there was a wide range of item on the buffet with all the cooked items of food being cooked well, it was a good start to the day!

The only downside really came as we were leaving the room. I was checking that my little boy hadn’t left any toys behind so I had cause to look down the side of the beds, under the beds and under the sofa. There was a LOT of dust down the side of the bed that was nearest the wall. Now I appreciate that it’s probably not easy to deep clean a room in between guests but the amount of dust present would suggest that the furniture hadn’t been moved do some time.

Ultimately I’d happily stay at this hotel again. It looks lovely, the staff and great, the food is lovely and the rooms are very comfortable.

From the minute you stepped in to the hotel you were glad you had chosen the Bailey Hotel.
The staff were friendly and courteous and very helpful as far as giving us directions to where we wanted to go.
Just a one minute walk to the Gloucester Road tube station which will take you anywhere in London you would like to go.
We had cocktails in the bar and dinner in the dining room. All was excellent.
Plus the rooms were very well maintained and comfortable.
I would highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast is amazing with so much choice.
The car park next door is very handy and the location is right next to Gloucester Road station so really handy. Lots of eating options right on the doorstep too. We will definitely come back again. Thank you.

Adequate stay near Gloucester underground so convenient. Skinny narrow rooms that have all you need. Constant running toilet needs to be jiggled but its a pretty old building. The fitness room requires a separate key and directions were wonky. Feel sorry for those in room 125. I was walked in on at 8:30 am without a knock. Seemed too early for housekeeping. Missed the red or green tassle as a message by choosing which one to hang on the door. I watched a doorman open the front door for others but would seem to get busy with other matters when i was near. I opened the door for myself and carried my luggage down the stairs. Seems pretentious.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was a tad on the smaller side, but we weren’t looking for room size when we booked. We wanted to see London. Another plus to the Baileys Kensington is it is right beside the tube station which gave us easy access to most all of London. I would definitely stay here again. And I highly recommend it.

Excellent professional service, beautifully designed rooms that are large especially for London standards and an amazing location for all local services and right next to Gloucester Road tube station for quick links around London. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in during numerous trips to London. I would highly recommend.

At first, the room was very unsuitable: it faced the inner courtyard with a 24/7 source of noise: the enormous air conditioning system. Changing rooms was no problem. The new room was tasteful, sufficiently large and very clean. The staff were very courteous and helpful throughout.

Front of house, conceirge, reception are 5 star as always. Classic double was spotless, quiet and comfortable (as always).

However, the bar service has taken a step back. The barman on Sat night was not attentive, more interested in entertaining his colleagues than paying attention to guests. Cocktails not as good as previous visits and worst of all 11pm last orders 11.01pm doors closed, music off and large bins of rubbish being wheeled through the bar whilst guests are sat in the bar with expensive drinks. Lots of amusing looks but even pubs don't do this... A bit of training incoming... Otherwise it remains a terrific hotel.

Family luxury room spacious, very high sealings and beautifuly done. No view from our window but it didn't really matter - as it also meant sheltered from the outside noise.

The one thig to know, speaking of noise, the building is old so we heard all noises in the room above - from walking to flushing but was not for long periods and comes with the old buildings. Also the ventilation system can be noisy.

Good location, very nice Christmas decorations.

Cleaning and toiletries impecable.

Can't say much about the staff as we interacted very little. No complaints non wow either.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The location is phenomenal- 5 minutes walk to the Natural History Museum and the V&A, a few more to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and about 20 steps from Gloucester Rd tube which is on the Piccadilly line for easy access to and from Heathrow. Great selection of food all around it. The hotel itself is beautiful and the well maintained despite the old building. Front desk staff and concierge were all super sweet and helpful. We were too busy touristing to eat there but it looked very popular and smelled great. I would definitely recommend it. We got a family room, it was a little small and the single bed turned out just to be a cot they had brought in to a queen room, so it was a bit squished but we enjoyed our stay none the less.

The location is perfect! Literally across the street from tube station. Convenient markets and restaurants are right there! I’ve used this hotel multiple times and something was “off” about this trip. Although, I made a mistake with dates by one day and Ned to extend my trip, I found the hotel desk staff somewhat difficult and not helpful. I would go as far as saying somewhat aggressive in wanting me to check my personal email in front of them so that they could ensure I signed up for their Millennium Rewards Account. It was all very odd. Although it is an ideal location, I’m likely to look at other options next trip. Maybe they have new staff or management.

There was an almighty banging noise for about 5 minutes early in the morning which woke us up. We initially thought it was someone doing building work and drilling but it seems like it was in fact the plumbing. We think there is perhaps an air lock and when the neighbouring room had a shower it made an almighty noise. We think this because our room (205) suffered the same when we had a shower. Took the edge off what was a pleasant stay
