Fantastic hotel. Close to the underground (tube) station and took us 20 min to be anywhere in London.
Excellent location with grocery stores, restaurants and nice neighborhood around. Also the Natural History Museum is like 5 min walking distance
We stayed as a family and loved it.

Excellent location. Near the Natural History Museum. But the two-floor bedroom offers only one good bed. The other bed is cheap and uncomfortable. Much too expensive for what it's worth. Other than that, the cleaning staff did a great job and were very friendly.

We were a family of 5 in a single suite which was hard to find in the area. The room was clean but shows its age. Some sockets and lights did not work and the door would not lock till they came to remove the door seal. Otherwise convenient location.

We received a very warm welcome upon registration. Our room with a king bed was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping visited every day and kept toiletries fully stocked. We stayed a full week and even though we didn't use the restaurant or other amenities, we found the hotel to be super well-located near plenty of eateries and extremely convenient to the London underground.

Hotel was extremely comfortable, great beds, excellent room. The staff went above and beyond with extra accommodations for us when my daughter became ill, helping us organise breakfast in our room and late check out at short
notice.
Natural History Museum is vey close by and definitely worth a visit, make sure to book in advance to avoid the queue! Plenty of amenities and dining options nearby, great transport options and a beautiful area to explore!

Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back for a return visit!

1/2 block walk from Gloucester Rd Underground station (no lift from Piccadilly line platform, so have to carry bags up one flight of stairs before accessing lift, but otherwise very easy hike with bags).
Several places to eat from across the street (Ask Italian is delicious) to 2 blocks away in addition to restaurant at hotel.
Super friendly staff at front desk. Check-in isn’t officially until 3pm, but they’ll secure your bags for you soon as you get there so you can explore around without worrying about them. And they’ll let you into a room earlier than 3 if housekeeping manages to get one ready earlier. Room was very spacious with king bed, refrigerator and large washroom.
5-stars from us at this place!

This property was in an excellent location with lots of shopping and food. We were able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see. The staff could not have been nicer and more pleasant, ready to serve. They have two lifts, one that has been perpetually in repair for some time - so this delays things a bit. Also they don't get around to making up the room until after 5, which was strange. Breakfast is adequate and convenient. We purchased the breakfast package ahead, which saved time. Not much on the dining side after breakfast. One room service order during the stay was fumbled. There are great dining options within walking distance, so dine out. Overall, a good value and room.

Its a good location, room was a little bit dark, breakfast was average, breakfast room layout was wrong, coffee station in the entryway causes people pile up, elevator renovation at a peak season causes longer waiting times. Generally it does the job for a good sleep..

Perfect location to explore London

We love London, and my wife's favorite location in the city is Kensington. We were here for a short stopover stay to see Oliver on the West End before traveling to visit friends in the Netherlands. This hotel was perfect for us! First, the location was great for walking the streets and mews of Kensington and taking in Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, and being located right across the street from Gloucester Road station made it even better to get anywhere in London. Second, the king deluxe room was amazing. It was large, updated, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We did not use the bar or onsite restaurant options because we wanted to get out and explore the city, but they all looked quite lovely. We will be back to London definitely and would stay here again for sure. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay

We had the most wonderful stay here. It was my husband's birthday and the hotel acknowledged this perfectly with little treats. The room was perfectly clean and a great size for our family of four. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

The location is excellent for getting around and seeing all the sights with Gloucester Road tube station across the road. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel is modern and clean. The room was comfortable and a decent size for us and our toddler to stay in. Amenities were what you would expect for the room (kettle, coffee/tea and toiletries). The staff were incredibly lovely and went above and beyond to make my daughter feel included. For any light sleepers I would keep in mind that if you have a room at the front of the hotel the road can be quite noisy, but this didn’t impact my trip in a negative.

The room was perfect for our family. The food was pretty good too. However he had a very cold beef dish on a cold plate when it stated it would be served on a hot plate. They did warm it up and didn’t even bring a fresh one or remove it from the bill. But I suppose that was a restaurant issue really.

Absolute god send. We booked another hotel which was very dirty and didn’t feel safe so we moved to this hotel. As soon as we walked it it felt safe and secure, super clean and cared for. Reception staff were amazing and we got a free cookie on checkin. Room was a great size and clean. Beds are firm but comfortable great after a day of walking. Location is brilliant opposite a tube station and near the shop

Avoid - Theft and Unclean

Arrived at the hotel and we were offered a complimentary upgrade to a family duplex suit which was very kind.
The room looked clean and welcoming, we were told that the sofa would be turned in to a bed for the children whilst we were out at the theatre which was no problem at all.
Upon leaving the room we noticed a pair of knickers under a television stand - disgusting really as the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned.
We let reception know, the guy was very apologetic and advised it would be sorted asap.
We came back from the theatre late, the children’s bed had been made and an apology given with the offer of breakfast. The room hadn’t been cleaned despite a note saying it had - there were still dirty glasses, tea spoons etc. but the knickers had gone!!
In the morning we packed to leave. Whilst packing it was then we noticed my daughters purse had gone. We’d come to London for my birthday and for her to spend her birthday money and someone had taken it from the room. A pink smiggle purse - there’s no mistaking it was a child’s purse.
We should absolutly have put it in the safe but stupidly during the push to leave we forgot.
Do not go to this hotel - they have a clear issue with cleanliness and theft!
I’ll be escalating this with more facts for the hotels mangagers but I will absolutly have for this happen to anyone else.
A fantastic birthday trip ruined by one person.
We turned the rook upside down looking, offered to look with staff have them check our bags etc.

We had a lovely stay and the food was amazing! We ate in the domes in the evening and the atmosphere and food were perfect.
The room was clean, warm and comfortable.
I did feel they were a little disorganised, i emailed previously to request early check in and although this was not promised they said they would do everything in their power to accommodate and that this request would be noted. We arrived at 1.30 (check in at 3) the room wasnt ready which was fine. Was told that we should come back at 2 as it should be ready by then… well we were still waiting at 3:15pm so ended up being late check in. Although one
Staff member apologised, i felt it was half hearted. It was a little frustrating as we had things booked from 4:30 so had very little time to relax. Also when we stored our bag in the lobby, we requested it back and a guy went off to get it, returned gave the ticket to a colleague and she put it down, not knowing we were stood there waiting for our bag. Communication was poor.
Breakfast again was beautiful, tasty, hot and lots of option.
Overall a really lovely stay but think the communication between staff could be improved to make things run a little smoother

The location and price for this hotel was great. You have a tube stop right across the street, Hyde park, two museums and great shopping all within walking distance. The road noise can be a little loud sometimes, so if you can get a room on a higher floor you might be better off. We also ate dinner 1 night at the Secret Garden restaurant in a dome. That was pretty cool and the food was pretty good. Fun experience

Property was really just mediocre at best especially considering the high price of rooms there. Pretty shabby condition overall with rooms needing an update and deep cleaning. The first night the remote on one tv didn’t work. It took a couple of hours before that was taken care of. Then the tv upstairs died. It took another few hours of wasted time and many visits from maintenance to get this handled. Overall was unimpressed with the room and the service in trying to get the tvs working. My wasted hours of frustration were glossed over by management by offering a free, and also mediocre, breakfast. You can find better places to stay near here for less money and with better service. Trust me, you’ll be happy you stayed elsewhere.

Very friendly and responsive staff!

We had a lovely stay, the staff were very attentive and I could see they were all working incredibly hard to make the service efficient. The hotel was very busy during our stay and breakfast particularly was quite chaotic. There were a lot of chairs and tables squeezed into a small area and it was hard for the staff to keep on top of topping up the buffet, ensuring the coffee machines were not running out of coffee and that plates and cutlery etc were replenished. It was not surprising that at times the buffet was not fully replenished...the staff did an excellent job under the circumstances. We did also have a very noisy neighbour who returned on all three nights of our stay at 3am with a loud voice! On the night that we reported the noise to staff they responded without hesitation and the neighbour was quiet afterwards. I would say the walls were quite thin which meant noise travelled easily, but the staff were responsive to our needs. All staff were also incredibly friendly and cheerful, always welcoming us on arrival to the reception area. The hotel was very close to Gloucester Road underground which made it an excellent location for exploring London for 3 nights.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. As a family of 4, we were upgraded to an apartment suite which was very well equipped with a Nespresso machine, full kitchen, tons of towels, and very comfortable beds. The lobby served snacks at check in and there is a kids play area in the lobby for kids to play in while you check in. The location was convenient and just steps from transportation, or walking distance to most main attractions. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, polite and we experienced excellent service. I will stay here again and would highly recommend it

The rooms are being renovated so they do not match the pictures shown online. 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service which made for long wait times in the morning. Eventually gave up and carried all my luggage down 3 flights of stairs. No place to warm food. Staff was unfriendly and unwilling to warm food for my toddler who has many food allergies and was unable to eat to at the restaurant because of allergies. Called it a health violation but flight crews stayed at this hotel and were allocated a microwave. Overall nice location but wouldn't repeat my stay.

The hotel is located in south Kensington on Cromwell Road, almost across Goucester tube station. The hotel has very nice accomodations and the staff is very friendly. Only inconvenience was that our room was not ready by 3:00PM, we had to wait an additional hour due to \"lack of staff\". Also, the hotel has two elevators and one was broken for our whole stay (one week).
