The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning worked well for which we were grateful as there was a heat wave the last day we were there.

The staff was very polite and helpful. We truly felt taken care of.

The bar - the food was very good.

Only thing - there were four pillows on the king bed. We both needed two were needed as they were thin and flattened out. If you like a thicker pillow as for an extra one.

We were assigned a room in the 2nd floor and it looked clean initially. But after the night, I found a bed bug in the sheets. When we alerted the staff they helped us by moving our luggage to the concierge till we returned from the day trips we had planned. They said that it was not a bed bug but a beetle... which are 2 very different insects. When we returned at night and asked what our new room would be the check in person did not know our situation and when I told him that we were being moved due to a bedbug he said " that's the first time he heard about a bed bug in the hotel" which was very suspicious comment to make.
He said they will upgrade us but we were assigned a similar room in the 7th floor.
Also when we googled, past guests at this hotel had reported bed bugs.
Other that that the staff was courteous.

I do love this hotel as the location is fabulous, the staff are lovely, especially the lady on the front desk - goes above and beyond and always smiling.

At much as I love the hotel and staff, the beds (for me) are far too hard. After 2 nights staying here I am crippled.. haven't slept well and struggled to get out of bed, and move around the room, bending or lifting.

I did request a topper which they didn't have. They put a couple of duvets on to of the mattress to help - but it didn't unfortunately.

I praise them for trying to help. But an uncomfortable bed really does set the tone for whether you'll come back again or not.

Mycket bra läge några 10-tals meter från Gloucester Subway station. Finns även en Santander hyrcykel station vid ingången till tunnelbanan.
Lokalgatan är lugn med ett ok utbud med restauranger. South Kensington är lugnt område, lite finare medelklass.
Hotellet har en fin entré och reception med concierge och bellboy. Samtlig personal var mycket trevliga (gäller generellt alla i serviceyrke i England skulle jag säga). Hotellet är lite äldre vilket märktes på rummen, dock var det rent och prydligt.

Large hotel in a great location for London. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Some of the group I travelled with had rooms with more amenities than others like a coffee machine and kettle where others just had a kettle. The electricity points need updating - USB points in the bed head only work when the main light is on so you cannot charge USB items overnight without a 3 pin plug (or the light on). My bathroom could have done with a bit of an upgrade particularly the tiling. We didn’t have any food at the hotel but lots of choice around the hotel if you want to venture out.

The suite was very spacious with all the amenities needed for and over night stay.
Comfortable bed and very quiet-which gave a good nights sleep.

Have had many stays at the MILLENIUM. Stayed in a club room but the “happy hour” amenity was no longer happening. Would have liked to have been informed on booking as this was a nice feature. But far worse, black mold on the tile under the sink!!!! Gave me the heebie jeebies every time a sat on the toilet. The Grand Lady in general is looking a little dated. There was one front desk clerk who was less than cordial, however, remainder of staff were great, ad usual.

Although it is reasonably well positioned in West London, and was convenient for the reason I was visiting the city, I have to say I think it was extremely expensive for what it was. The room was absolutely fine, the breakfast was fine. There was nothing special about it. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because I could park on site. This was helpful, but £50 for one overnight space I think is excessive.

Very comfortable bed, especially coffee machine in the room was an amazing treat for someone like myself that drinks espresso first thing in the morning. I keep coming back to this hotel especially for this reason it’s clean and staff it’s always helpful they go above and beyond to help .

Lovely hotel in a lovely area of London and perfectly situated for tube station and eateries. The bar was closed whilst we were there and we did not have breakfast or use the dining options. The room was spacious and the beds super comfortable.
The pillows were a little thin and unfortunately there was some wear and tear in the bathroom which was not in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

Breakfast is good in terms of quality and variety. Opens at 6:30 is just early enough for us to start some of our day excursions.
Not enough bathroom amenities e.g. skin lotion, shower cap. A good plus is an ironing board for us. Cleaning staff did a relatively good job.

Bedroom and bathroom not very well designed. No secure WiFi only public (couldn’t log into work). No electric sockets in bathroom (can’t charge toothbrush dry hair etc), very few in the bedroom (harder to charge devices). No night in bathroom (blindly bright), bath tub is set far too high for a child or those vertically challenged. No microwave anywhere is frustrating (made me never want to eat in the hotel restaurant)

If you need a good location and that's the main thing for you, then Millennium is the place for you.

The rooms are outdated and far from what you'll get in a fairly modern hotel. Fixtures are outdated as well. The TV looked farely of modern era but the remote wasnt working (remote was at least 7-10yrs old). No in-room info about standard hotel schedule -checkout, breakfast etc, and the phone wasn't working in my room (worked in my friends room).

The exterior and reception looked good and grand. The location was excellent, staff great, check-in process smooth, and enough restaurants and things to so right around you. The rooms however need work and that was a downer for me.

The hotel is located in a good area, next to Gloucester Rd. underground station, with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants close-by. It is coveniently located for a short tube ride to most of the tourist attractions. Our club-room was spacious with good heating/AC and a nice bathroom. We have booked to stay again later this year.

First impressions are very good. Reception area is lovely and well kept.
We had a deluxe room which appears to be more like a standard room. Perhaps it has a bit more space but not much.

The location is excellent for the tube station and good travel routes from there.

We had breakfast one morning. It was very good and there is good space in the dining room.
Be careful though. In the UK, prices MUST be show that include the tax. I received an offer in the My Millenium App and the price shown DID NOT include the tax as required by UK consumer law (the message stating this exclusion is in a more feint type and not the bold type that shows the cost less tax) Be prepared to add on 20% VAT to the cost shown!
I had a discussion with a Deputy Manager on 2 occasions about this but this seemed to 'fall on deaf ears'.

The staff were friendly and helpful so that made a great start. The room was excellent: roomy and clean and it felt safe on the whole property. Only had a short stay here so didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant but it looked very nice. This was a step-up from our usual level of hotel and you could definitely feel the quality. The spacious and well decorated foyer welcomed us in and felt very safe.

No cable sockets for charging or connecting.
No plugs by the bed.
The room overall and bathroom requires refurbishing, and is very tired looking.
Bathroom was small and cramped.
The bath & washbasin had not been cleaned, also visible limescale. Everywhere you looked it was becoming apparent the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly for a long time.
The shower, water flowed slowly.
Didn’t dare to touch the rubber bath mat.
Air conditioning wasn’t effective for one of the hottest days.
No coffee/tea/water provided in room. Nothing extra to feel welcome.

Lack of signage.
Car park is bookable through JustPark, spaces are small. Drop luggage etc at front entrance, only stairs up to the hotel lobby from the underground car park.

We decided to have food in the bar after an evening out. The bar and room service closed early, stated they were open until 11pm. Everything was closed at 10:40pm. Which was dissatisfying due to being diabetic, and needing to prevent a hypoglycaemic attack over night. Went to bed with no food or drink.
Limited selection of soft drinks at the bar and only two non alcoholic cocktails.

Breakfast is buffet only. Book at hotel after arrival, offered at a lower price.

Hotel was quiet and in a pleasant and accessible location.

Staff polite and helpful.

Location for our visit to Royal Albert Hall was great. We arrived at gone 1600hrs and were advised we were going to be upgraded to a VIP room, but it would take 20mins to get ready. Generous room but very tired - thankfully the air con was quiet and worked quite well in London’s 35 degree heat! We were given two complimentary drinks vouchers which we intended to use after the show. On our return the bar shuts at 2200hrs!!! Didn’t take breakfast, and, if it wasn’t for the location wouldn’t have picked this hotel.

Overall our stay was fairly good. The staff were excellent; friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent with a tube station and tourist bus close by. The Executive room we stayed in however, was below the standard we expected. The refrigerator didn’t work. Some bathroom tiles were held on with adhesive tape. The bath and surrounds were chipped in parts and had been poorly repaired. The chrome had worn off the tap over the vanity. The welcome which came up on our television each morning greeted people other than ourselves. This was a little off putting and was in no way welcoming for us.

Pointless doing a bag drop before checking in if it’s a small bag! At least let the customer decide.

Same goes for conversions when buying at your restaurant. The staff should NOT decide which conversion to use - the customer should decide!!

The hotel itself is stuffy and outdated. Rooms was not particularly clean. Vents were covered in dust and the room was COLD!

Lastly the works taking place is extremely loud and intrusive.

My room was robbed and the hotel management reacted as if it were an everyday occurrence. In addition, they lied to me and to the police. The police let me know that hotel management was uncooperative. I would not trust these people at all.

We chose the hotel for its location just a block from an underground station and the price seemed reasonable for a London hotel. We didn't use any of the facilities as we were always out seeing sights. Even though it was quite obvious we were not the wealthiest guests or VIPs, we were treated respectfully and everyone was helpful and friendly. I felt like I mattered. I would stay here again just for that reason!

The common areas were very nice; well maintained and quite nice.

My concern was with the room itself. There just seemed to be a lack of “care.” When we checked in there was a half-eaten bag of nuts on the bathroom counter and several of those nuts were scattered on the floor in the bedroom.

We appreciated the large flat screen TV but where it was placed obscured artwork on the wall behind it - nothing terrible, but it just seemed to indicate a lack of attention.

Lastly, it didn’t appear the exterior windows had been cleaned in years….

This location was perfectly situated just steps from bus stops and an underground station. It had a grocery store and multiple restaurants across the street as well as restaurants in the hotel although we didnt get a chance to try any of them. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking around and relaxing, it is within walking distance to so many wonderful areas I really cant say enough how much we enjoy that area of Kensington. The employees were super helpful, they stored our luggage for us on the first day and then brought it all to the room so we didnt have to keep dealing with it, they were always available to answer questions and the employees who did the room cleaning were very friendly as well. My daughter and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and it is in my top 3 for hotels I would stay in again in London. If we want to stay in Kensington again, I would definitely look at this hotel first, depending on the rate and time of year.

The staff here is what makes this hotel a wonderful place to stay. I have many disabilities and the staff has helped me at every step. The manager, Tiberius, is a special person. He has that rare ability to show understanding and compassion. I can’t fault any staff members. They are incredibly helpful. I came here from a horrible experience at a previous hotel and the staff’s kindness helped me to recover from that experience. The bar has wonderful food and less expensive for a hotel which caters to more wealthy clientele. I sincerely hope that guest take a moment to thank the staff. The staff here will always hold a place in my heart. Sometimes, staying in London can be difficult because of the staff. Come stay here. It is a special experience.
