This location does not have car service or a shuttle as shown on the Expedia profile. They simply will call you a taxi. There is one very tiny lift within the building. The building has steps to climb with no ramp for those with mobility issues. The location is nice. It is near restaurants, tube stations, and some shopping.

I love Rad Blu and especially when the room rates are great too. Staff are so courteous and very well trained. This room was small 9 square meters and I tiny so gle bed but I knew that and it's all the extras you get with Radisson that I like.Gym and Spa( complimentary Tea & Coffee. Well equiped bathroom and a general feel of a good quality product.

Rooms were very small. Difficult to manoeuvre round one side of the bed. No bedside table on one side of the bed due to lack of space. Lack of electric sockets in room. Tremendous cold draught under door. Unable to control heating. Disappointing for a Radisson hotel.

The room was pretty small (space only for a bed) but I was moved to a bigger room because the television did not work. That room, still small, was sufficient, though the bathroom was tiny. But everything was spotless, cleaning was excellent, and the bed comfortable.

In addition, the staff was extremely helpful and the food was very good.

the room was acceptably clean, although a little dusty in areas. the phone in the room did not work and we were unfortunately situated very far from reception. we requested the room to be refreshed but no additional coffe or water was provided and the bedding that had been changed was still wet. staff were pleasant throughout our stay. we had some light bites in the attached restaurant, asked for 2 tanqueray and tonic but were served tequila and tonic! otherwise, the bed was comfy and the heating /cooling worked well although has clearly seen better days as it was quite loud.

Very good value for London with excellent location just across the road from the Tube. Room clean, warm, perfectly adequate with very comfortable bed. Bit sparse on furniture. Nowhere to sit and write if you had to work for an hour or two but there was a decent little business room off the lobby. Can’t expect everything. Good breakfast. Would strongly consider using it again for the price.

Hotel staff very friendly unfortunately there was dust in the room & 1/2 bottle of pop left in the fridge, I mentioned it to reception and they got housekeeping to sort it and offered us complementary breakfast for our stay.

The room (Number 336) was small which is not unusual for the style of building, however the bathroom was extremely small and cramped and there was no space available to put toiletries etc. The flannels, toothbrush cups etc were located on the toilet cistern as there was no where else for them to be placed. Also, the shower water temperature was barely luke warm. The room was extremely tired and in need of refurbishment. The carpet was very old and dirty and there were dubious marks and stains on the headboard, chair and carpet. Breakfast was very disappointing. The hot selection was cold, the toaster was broken and the milk jugs were empty. The hygiene standard at the buffet could do with some attention. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful but I would not stay here again.

We stayed at a Family Room at Radisson Blu in South Kensington for 4 nights. The stay overall was pleasant and the hotel is located in a great place with access to tube and so many shops and restaurants. The room was OK but the cleaning was done later in the afternoon rather than mornings. The access to the room required multiple steps which was quite challenging with 3 pieces of luggage. I wish they had informed us or offered some help when we checked in to the room. Also, for a family room, there weren't enough drawers and the entrance hall was occupied by a 4th bed that was folder away. We expected a bit more space and room quality but the beauty of London and the surrounding areas very well compensates for that.

It is in a great location and the staff were all great, check in all day and efficient. It’s just very dated and tired. It’s an old building and that really shows inside. The bathroom was tiny and we had to put the plug in the bath due to a drain smell. We used vouchers so didn’t cost us anything but I would have been a bit disappointed if I’d paid full price.

The first room I was given during a recent three-day stay was so bad it felt as if I had walked into a hostel. The carpet was dirty, lumpy and coming away at the edges around the wall. The window was open (even though it was January in London) and I couldn't get it to close. And the phone didn't work. I immediately told them I needed another room. The other room I was given was much better but the carpet was still old and dirty. Overall though I would not recommend this hotel given how bad that first room was and the overall inconsistency.

We talked to the front desk staff several times about it on different days and they didn't do anything. They did not follow up with us about the matter. They seemed to really not care about it. Which was very off putting.

front desk staff was great and very helpful with information, check in and luggage assistance. the room had strong odors, was in a \"basement\" with low ceilings and an inoperable window to the service alley. there was an unsafe lump in the flooring leading to the bathroom. The hair dryer malfunctioned. the heating system had an odor of sewer. There was a \"spare\" radiator provided which i now understand, because the heating did not work right. the bathroom was completely heated by towel heaters which did not work. it was pretty cold in there if the door had been shut, or even if it was left open. The wi-fi only worked if i left the room and went to a nearby space in the hallway. I even logged into the hotel wifi several times, forgot the network on my phone, etc. it just never had more than 1 bar. On my second day in the hotel, the cleaners made up the room. I was very happy to see this, but when I opened the refrigerator, it contained someone else's food - and it was fish. Totally unacceptable. How can they leave food in the guest's fridge during cleaning? Just gross, and also it seems to be a bit of a violation of privacy - the fridge wasnt a mini-bar. they had no need to open it, other than maybe to clean. I told the hotel of these issues, and they apologized but offered nothing.
If you stay here, note that the lobby is very nice, but the rooms are just OK. And, make sure that your room faces the street or you might also be stuffed in the basement.

Clean and everything worked. The shower was lovely, fierce and hot, however you couldn't move the head and it was angled such that it drenched the rest of the bathroom. But staff very nice indeed and bar and restaurant very good. Comfy bed and good telly. Wifi worked very well.

The hotel was nice. What made it memorable was the staff. Specifically, Tanvi, Janice, Lanita and Dhanvi. The entire front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we were cared for and welcomed- every day. We stayed in this hotel for a week, and everyone we encountered was helpful, kind, knowledgable and pleasant. 5 Star Staff!! Thank you for your gracious hospitality!!

Disappointing Stay - Small, Dated Room and Run-Down Decor

We recently stayed for one night at the Radisson Blu South Kensington, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing, particularly concerning the standard of our room and the general state of the hotel.

The Room (440)
Our room was extremely small, to the point of being cramped with very little space to move.

Space & Storage: There was virtually no room to swing a cat, and storage was minimal—we noted the complete lack of a proper wardrobe.

Cleanliness & Smell: The carpets in the room were visibly very dirty and the room had a distinct and unpleasant musky smell upon entry.

Bathroom: The bathroom layout was problematic; we almost had to climb into the bath just to close the door, highlighting a poor design and lack of space.

Hotel Condition & Atmosphere
The room's condition appears to be symptomatic of the hotel's overall state.

Dated and Worn: The hotel generally looks very dated. The carpets throughout the public areas are noticeably threadbare, and the decoration in many parts is quite poor and tired.

False Impression at Reception: While the reception area looks more fresh and modern, this appears to give a false impression of the quality of the rest of the hotel.

Very tired hotel , worn carpets, saggy beds and I have literally never seen so many layers of paint on the wood in this hotel . I have stayed here many times over the last 15 years and the only benefit is that you can occasionally get a good deal. Definitely not worth the money anymore

Great range of food at breakfast, especially fruit. Welcoming, friendly staff. Rooms were lovely, and very quiet for central London. Accommodated a late check out to allow half marathon runners to shower and change after the event, hugely appreciated!

Hotel could use a little TLC, a lift was out of order, handle came of firedoor in corridor.

Didn't spoil our stay but may for others.

The hotel is very far from 4 star hotel standard. The hallway is very very narrow, it's a safety issue. To get into our room, we have to pass at least four doors in such narrow hallways that don't meet safety standard. The room is very outdated, super small, carpet is dirty, cabinets are broken. We stayed in a two twin bed room, one bed is against the wall, no electrical outlet near the bed. The whole room only has two electrical outlets that's at the bottom near the floor, far from the bed. The TV is on the table covering half of the mirror. Hair dryer is broken, no slippers until we requested it. Bathroom amenities dispensers could not pumped out the shampoo, soap and conditioner properly. Very disappointing stay. It's similar to a two star motel quality.
