Experience was okayish, not too good for a 4 star hotel
My bad sheet had dirt underneath, the charging point was far away from the bed and there was no kettle/coffee/tea services in the room. Room was also extremely small.

Goods-
Bathroom was clean and big, iron table and iron in good condition, staff very helpful

Overall, I wouldn't call it value for money for a 4 star hotel

The staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was very good, but the property is very dated. The bathroom was awkward because the tub walls were very high. The hallways and rooms are furnished in dark, depressing colors. The AC unit was located directly above our bed and began to leak condensation on our final day.

The room was quite dated as was the whole hotel. There was a laundry truck unloading for about two hours in between 2-4 am outside the room in the back alley (rough timings, I wasn't checking the clock in the middle of the night). It interrupted my sleep for a while. When I mentioned it to the receptionist in the morning he apologised but didn't seem too bothered. There is one thing I want from a hotel and it's a good night's sleep.

Wow stayed here for the first time celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday and the staff were amazing making it the most perfect stay. The hotel is right near South Kensington gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel is quite quirky in its design, the room was spacious enough with plenty of storage, the all important bed was nice and comfy and the shower hot and powerful. Breakfast had plenty of options with a lovely cooked verity. Really did enjoy our stay and will definitely be going back. Thank you again to the wonderful staff.

Noisy, noisy, noisy! Had to change rooms as the noise from the nearby elevator and doors closing was annoying! New room was worst than the old room as it was a foot away from a loud closing fire door! Bathrooms are a hazard! A huge slippery high bathtub dominates the bathroom! The best thing about this hotel is the location.

It's a well located hotel, the room was an okay price. It was a 10 min walk through a lot of winding corridors and lifts to find the room. Not ideal if you have bags. Also, the shower/bath flooded the bathroom each time I used it.

The bed was okay though. Better that I was expecting from a single bed.

Excellent staff, great location, quiet room (though next to lift) and perfect amenities! Started w/2nites and extended to 4. They even offered to keep one of my bags so I’d be more likely to rebook on my return to London i n 5 days. I tried! Not available because of occupancy and the marathon : )

The single room is very small but I expect that in London. The bed, however, was positioned next to the desk so you don’t have free movement. What I was more disappointed by was that it was very hot as the air conditioning was broken (I was told the hotel was full so I couldn’t change rooms and at least kindly given a fan). The window can only be opened on request but did at least offer a nice view of the road. It was very noisy though so not very well insulated sound wise. The staff were ok but not going above and beyond to be honest. Breakfast was fine but certainly not good value for money. Apple juice was fizzy, vegetarian sausages available on request but needed 20 mins, and there was less choice than at a Travelodge to be completely honest. I was disappointed by this hotel for multiple reasons. It did the job I needed to for location and at a reasonable price thanks to a deal but I am sad to say that I couldn’t recommend it. There was an iron, ironing board, mini fridge and hairdryer though which were all appreciated.

The location is great, and the service is good. However, the furniture is quite old. The beds are already deformed, and I can feel the springs. All the lounge chairs and sofas are missing foam. I had to sit in the corner because the seats are too deep and don’t support my bottom or back. The place really needs some updates.

Great historic hotel in a lovely neighborhood of diplomatic missions in South Kensington. Historic & atmospheric lobby, great on-site restaurant for a quick or a proper sitdown meal & a well-stocked bar. Rooms are renovated and, while not spacious, are well-appointed with marble baths, excellent bath products & extras. Staff are super helpful and allowed a complimentary early check-in for a pair of tired travelers at 11 am. Extra blankets were provided promptly, as requested. Highly recommend.

This place isn’t fancy or full of amenities, but it is consistently clean, comfortable, convenient and really good value. I’ve stayed here twice, almost 3 years apart, and it remains a charming option in a busy area full of overpriced hotels. The staff is super friendly and kind. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a very busy, commercial area, which isn't horrible but can be very noisy at times.
The Underground is right around the corner which is great.
There are a ton of fast food restaurants and a couple very nice restaurants.
As far as the hotel itself.... The staff is extremely helpful!! I mean that, they are great.
Unfortunately, the hotel is lacking in many areas.
We booked online they Expedia and was sent email letting me know that I could inquire about a free upgrade.... When we arrived, I inquired, and was told I was supposed to do that they Expedia.
No such a great start.
We got to our room which was tiny...I mean tiny and hot. They came to look into the air conditioning and we decided to just upgrade.
Back down the stairs and we did the upgrade. I asked them to make sure the air conditioner worked before we moved ourstuff, I was told they would definitely check.

After I asked for a quiet room explaining that'd I'd had a 04:00 start and needed a good night sleep for work the next day I was assigned a room just above the delivery entrance where trucks and vans began loading and unloading from 03:00.

Impossible to sleep with all the doors banging, trolleys rattling, engines revving and trucks beeping.

This was allegedly an upgrade, so if this is how they treat their Premium Rewards guests I can't imagine how awful the other rooms must be.

I stayed 2 nights as an Expedia VIP member having booked a 'superior' single room that was advertised as 169 sf vs the standard single room at 129 sf, if i recall correctly.

A smarmy concierge checked me in since the receptionists were busy. He assigned me what surely must have been the smallest and worst room in the hotel (#438), located on the top floor and tucked off to the side on a short hall. Dreary and disappointing, it might have been otherwise tolerable had the mattress not curled up and rolled me into a ball in the middle. I hardly slept. In the morning I needed coffee. I opened the capsule coffee maker to discover a white layer of dust. Yuck.

After complaining, the woman at the reception desk kindly upgraded me for the second night to a fresher double room on the 1st floor, which was clean and comfortable (even though the bed was a bit hard for my taste).

Sadly, the historic allure of the hotel photos on Expedia is not to be seen by the layperson staying in steerage on the 4th floor. Don't book less than a double room here and ask for the ground or first floor if you want to enjoy your vacation.

Property rooms were small but that was to be expected due to the location. This hotel was centrally located and you get easy access to the tube station. I would 100% stay here again. There were also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Beds were very comfortable too. Only downside was very narrow hallways and very small elevator.

The building is beautiful and staff is very friendly, the room itself was nice and spacious for one of the rooms the superiour I belive and the standard was less so. The toilet in the standard was far too close to the wall and tub and was hard to use due to that. The way to our rooms were also very confusing, we had to walk through at least 4 doors and 3 hallways to get to one room and for the other had to walk through a hallway, through a door, down a half flight of stairs, through another door and then in the room the bedroom was up another set of stairs. Aminities were nice, nespresso coffee/coffee maker, tea, hot chocolate. The mini fridge didnt get very cold and the ac didnt do much either. The standard rooms ac was not working. It is in a great location though so despite the inconveniences i would stay here again.

This hotel was a great find in terms of location. Just a short walk from the Natural History Museum, the Royal Albert Hall and the V&A. The building itself has a lot of character which we really liked.
We booked a standard twin room and initially I was told we needed to pay £30 extra to have the beds made up as twins. I asked to see this policy as it wasn’t on the booking details and was soon told it didn’t apply - so double check!
The room was small but comfortable and suited our needs. The room was definitely tired with carpet lifting in the doorway, a carpet stain by the desk, and generally a bit dusty but nothing we felt we needed to make a fuss about.
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t pay extra for breakfast as so many nice places nearby to grab something at a cheaper price.
Overall a great stay, just some minor niggles that the hotel could do with improving.

Hospitality was very good but we were disappointed to find that a service charge was added to all purchases at the bar that we were not told about. We only realised this when reviewing the receipt.
Service charges should be at the customers discretion.

There was also a £50 deposit that was asked for on arrival but not clearly explained!! This was taken on my bank card (which worried me for the duration of my stay, as I had paid up front and never use room service or charge to my room) and when I asked for the payment to be reversed, as I checked out, and a receipt for the negative payment I was told this was not possible.

I was very disappointed that we are not trusted. Now if I had been asked for a credit to authorise any charges, If added, this would have been fine but to take a £50 deposit, with no explanation, is not on.

Very disappointed. Spoilt my stay. 😟

The staff are polite, professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel adds a lot of finishing touches to make your stay mor enjoyable. Would totally recommend.

Clean room. Double bed but they called it a single. Nice size. A big and deep bathtub. Toiletries provided. Staff were helpful and easy going. Area was alright. Usual mix of tourists, construction workers, and locals. Close to Underground Station. Walking distance to the Museum of Natural History. Didn’t try the restaurant and bar. But the patrons seemed quiet and respectful when I looked it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice budget stay.

Summary: Great hotel location. Room (deluxe) mediocre and needs improving.

Hotel is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from Gloucester Road Station which is on three different tube lines. Also down the road from the NHM, Science Museum and V&A, with Royal Albert not far either.

On arrival, the hotel entrance looked smart and we were greetly warmly with a goodie bag which was nice. Then asked for £50 deposit, which I was surprised at but understandable (believe in the T&C's anyway).

The room however was a let down. Considering this was 'deluxe', I couldn't find much to separate it from more basic stays elsewhere. Extra disappointing as this stay was for a special occasion. Furnishings and carpet felt tired and the view was a frosted window onto the back, so little natural light... would have hoped all deluxe rooms were given street view - this was the biggest disappointment. In addition to this, the 'small flush' of the toilet didn't work at all and the aircon was set to 34oC but blowing cool. Neither were big enough issues to move room, however in hindsight perhaps we should have. The coffee machine had no instructions and pods unlabelled, so non idea what they were.
Positives: Plenty of floor space, everywhere was clean, bed was comfy and shower was big and warm, towels ready on a warm towel rail. Room provided with iron and ironing board, and hairdryer - all useful.

We had a room on the front of the hotel over the main road, if your a light sleeper - not so good.
Bath needed re-enamelling in places. Room was very clean as was the bathroom, sadly one of the bedside lights hadn't been checked and was not working.
Would have been nice for the Espresso pods to be identified, as there were 3 types but no identifying marks other than they had 3 different coloured edges, great if you know, but if you didn't then it was pot luck, which resulted in some of them being wasted.
we'd definitely stay here again for the location and value for money in the area. Royal Albert Hall, V&A and Natural History Museums all within half a mile.

Not my first time here, but happy to return again.

As ever, the staff are absolutely lovely and some of the best in the business. I was greeted by Dhavani who was kind, accommodating and went out of her way to help me with a genuine warm smile and personality.

The staff all seem to be encouraged to be themselves in a positive way, so it’s never a cookie-cutter experience here. It’s part of the reason I’m alway happy to come back.

The hotel is a little older, so there is a slight shabby-chic feel, but it’s perfectly lovely to stay in.
The bed and sheets are very comfy, and the rooms are warm and welcoming.
Will happily stay again.

This location does not have car service or a shuttle as shown on the Expedia profile. They simply will call you a taxi. There is one very tiny lift within the building. The building has steps to climb with no ramp for those with mobility issues. The location is nice. It is near restaurants, tube stations, and some shopping.

I love Rad Blu and especially when the room rates are great too. Staff are so courteous and very well trained. This room was small 9 square meters and I tiny so gle bed but I knew that and it's all the extras you get with Radisson that I like.Gym and Spa( complimentary Tea & Coffee. Well equiped bathroom and a general feel of a good quality product.

The room was pretty small (space only for a bed) but I was moved to a bigger room because the television did not work. That room, still small, was sufficient, though the bathroom was tiny. But everything was spotless, cleaning was excellent, and the bed comfortable.

In addition, the staff was extremely helpful and the food was very good.

the room was acceptably clean, although a little dusty in areas. the phone in the room did not work and we were unfortunately situated very far from reception. we requested the room to be refreshed but no additional coffe or water was provided and the bedding that had been changed was still wet. staff were pleasant throughout our stay. we had some light bites in the attached restaurant, asked for 2 tanqueray and tonic but were served tequila and tonic! otherwise, the bed was comfy and the heating /cooling worked well although has clearly seen better days as it was quite loud.
