I always like staying here, it's got quite expensive but it has everything I prefer. The property is beautiful, the rooms are lovely although some can be noisy. The pool is an absolute treat and so are the lovely steam room & sauna. It can get a bit busy down there but if you get it to yourself it's heaven! Breakfast is expensive but very good with excellent vegetarian options, the staff in the restaurant are the best :) the cocktail bar is good but pricey and sometimes the service is a bit off & I don't really rate the food in there. There's no parking but you can park in the Millennium over the road or on the street if you're only there overnight (6.30pm to 8.30am). On this stay I had a late checkout arranged the day before, when I checked out the male member of staff said to me imperiously 'for your reference for next time checkout is 11am'. I explained about the arrangement & he didn't apologise.. just laughed, it was very unprofessional and it made me really uncomfortable :(

A really travel convenient hotel. It’s a bare minimum spa hotel, priced as such. Most rooms have a kitchenette so go shopping before you arrive as the food is a bit hit and miss.
The spa is great and the massage I had was lovely. Some more traditional hot stones would have been good. Ask for bath robes at reception or you won’t get them. No landline phones in rooms which is annoying. Because of room design you can’t watch TV in bed because of the metal screens. If you are into SnM this screen is for you!
The staff are mainly lovely and helpful but the main guy in the breakfast room made me feel like Billy no mates shouting a table JUST for one across the dining room and then repeating this another few times. I get to the table set for two and he makes a big deal about removing one set of cutlery. I actually felt the need to ask him to stop pointing out that I’m on my own. More training here I think!
I would stay again but the lack of ready available food and room service puts me off a little. Even the private cafe by the pool had no food when I went in.

Firstly, the hotel is in a great location in South Kensington close to both the tube and the bus. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. I loved the eclectic vibe and decor. The staff was very nice and friendly and helped with all of our needs. We stayed in the 2 bedroom vault which is on the lower floor. The living area, kitchenette and bathroom are beautiful. The bedrooms, although they were described to us, were not really convenient. Yes, they are built into the turrets of the hotel, which we knew, however we did not know that you had to climb in and out of the bed to get out of the room as it is so tight. Also it was not brought to our attention the you have to duck to get into the one bedroom as the ceiling height was maybe 5 ft 3 inches tall. One of the travelers with me was older and due to the climbing into and out of the bed fell and severely bruised her eye and shoulder. We did let staff know but honestly had I know the ceilings were that low and that you had to climb over the bed to get in and out I would have booked differently. The accident did ruin some of our vacation. I would stay at this hotel again but would NOT stay in those rooms. If you’re a male or taller female it is extremely dangerous and inconvenient.

Amazing hotel. Rooms were very spacious. With all you would ever need. (Courtyard) On the same level as the residence spa/pool. Nice to have sauna and steam room available. Pool was a little cold. The bar was cool. Great location. Tube station just minutes away and plenty restaurants and bars nearby.

The other house is quite unique, I would say if they are to continue operating as a hotel there needs to be certain aspects that contribute to it being a hotel such as slippers, dressing gowns in rooms, complimentary biscuits, directions to the spa with arrows to show where it is. Also some of the receptionist staff could be more friendly. Overall it was a nice stay but there are some improvements to be made. Also the lighting could be better in the rooms.

The property is nice and exactly as in the photos. What I did not like about my room was that it was on the ground floor with the windows looking out to internal sit outs of the hotel - so no natural light.

The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We stayed there for about 3 weeks. They do housekeeping once a week only and do not even change towels. One had to keep requesting them to do at least give fresh towels. And even when housekeeping was done they would forget to replenish the tea, sugar etc.

The most disappointing part was when I gave this feedback to the front office staff, I was told that because I was a long staying guest I needed to remind them to replenish supplies! One would have expected service to be better for a long staying guest and not the other way round !!

Lovely room — very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Lighting created a relaxing atmosphere. Bathroom lighting can be improved to have a light that can do makeup. The kitchen is nice but not functioning very well, e.g. coffee machine not working, nowhere to find the power on button of the vent, and it took forever for the stove to bring the water to boiling. Staff are friendly.

My go-to stay in London. The location is perfect (both a cute area and easy to take public transit around town) and it feels like home. The facilities downstairs (pool, movie room, etc) are such a fun touch. I initially picked it because they have some really lovely extras (sound baths!!!), but even if you're not into those extra options, it's a comfortable, serene place to relax and either rest at the property to set up a nice base to explore the city. LOVE having a kitchenette, especially if you're there on a short trip and can't really adjust to the time difference. Feels both luxurious and cosy, in the most wonderful way. A definite home away from home.

The hotel was perfect, exactly as described and in a lovely quiet but accessible location. The room we stayed in had 3 separated sleeping spaces so was brilliant for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The staff were also amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Pool and Sauna area also very nice. It was pricey, but it was value for money. Would highly recommend.

However, the T.V. was completely misplaced—it faced the wall, making it impossible to watch, so I never used it. Highly recommend The Other House. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location.
Our room was beautiful - a little squishy, but great. The room had a kitchenette which took quite a bit of space, and we didn’t use it. It would be great if you feel like preparing some meals yourself, but we were keen to enjoy the restaurants and pubs in the city.
The breakfast was excellent and well worth adding as an inclusion with your stay.
The location is unbeatable with walking access to some of the main sights in London. It’s a beautiful neighbourhood and we felt safe and comfortable instantly.
I hope we’ll be able to stay again one day soon.

Lovely property in a great location. We stayed in one of the vaults flats with our kids. They loved the bed in the vault. The firedoor to outside wasn’t brilliantly sound proofed to the outdoor noise, but the kids still slept well. The kitchen is very clean and well appointed for its size. Pool is lovely and kept the kids happy between 3-4.30 when it is open for kids.

The other house was a great base for us on our London leg of our journey. Loved all the uniqueness of this place. The pool, sauna and steam rooms were a great way to escape the bustle of London. The hotel was a cute boutique style. Weird set up, but nice. The only complaint is they have no phone number to call anyone for a need or question! They message through WhatsApp and I found it useless. Answering a question 8 hours later and not once getting any solution. They also do not have any sort of room service you can call and order. For a nicer hotel, this was ridiculous to me. Final note; for some reason they have a metal “decorative” room divider right in the middle of the room. Only making the room feel much smaller and not allowing you to watch the television from bed.

This Hotel is unique; a ‘Great Gatsby’ feel and decor. The staff is highly accommodating and kind. There are many comfy, cozy, lounge areas - including a well-stocked library. An actual club with annual membership, and guests have membership for the length of their stay; quiet, intimate atmosphere with no typical tourists, few to no children (at least during my stay). Highly recommended.

The other house has a very unique personality. It’s nicely decorated- Hard floors, opening windows, full size fridge, all necessary electrical gadgets, full set off dishes, cups, vine glasses, kitchen utensils.The bed is very comfy, nice bedding, free landry facilities. Wonderful stay for a family of 5. Lovely sized clean room. We stayed in one of the basement rooms and were worried it would feel dark but it didn’t.
The hotel was an excellent location for us to visit the museums, many cafes and restaurants and Kensington palace and gardens without having to use any public transport.
Used the pool during the time children are allowed. It was nice but very busy and too many older children jumping in for our 2 year old. I think it would benefit from more than one time a day during holidays and weekends where kids can use the pool or a special under 5s time.

The location was phenomenal. Within two blocks there were multiple restaurants, a Tube stop, and a bus stop that could take you all over the city easily.

My only complaint was that the hotel was doing maintenance directly in front of my room. I was not notified by staff that the work was taking place. It was annoying and potentially unsafe for myself and other guests.

We stayed at this property for two nights as a spa stay. The hotel itself looks fantastic, and is well maintained. The staff on the front desk were very helpful and polite.

The room was a great size with a seperate sitting area, a nice bathroom and small kitchen area which was appreciated.

We chose the hotel due to the pool and spa facilities which was really nice, but I made a mistake thinking the pool, which is warmed to 31 degrees, would be warm! It takes some getting used to, but there is also a nice sauna and steam room.

The area itself is pretty great too, with at least 10 food options within a 5 minute walking distance. The nearest tube stop is also about 5 minutes away, and its served by several bus lines.

If we needed to stay in London again we would definately consider coming back

The rooms were so dark (dark brown walls) and the lighting was “imbalanced” (my partner is an electrical contractor and he noticed it as well) that you could barely see yourself in a mirror. I know it sounds fussy, but we are very casual people and this was notable. One positive is that the breakfast was fantastic. And the staff, both housekeeping and front desk were really terrific. But there was really nothing anyone can do about the interior of the rooms so we did not mention it.

A terrific place to stay in South Kensington. It is only a block or so away from the Glouster Road tube stop and. 45-minute direct tube line to Heathrow Airport..
This place exudes quality and has terrific customer service. For example, in the middle of the night, I woke up because my room was too warm. It was a hot day in London and the air conditioning was not working properly in my room. I went to the front desk. The young man on duty that quickly came up to my room, saw that it wasn’t working, and moved me to another room on the same floor. The next morning, I went down to front desk and told them I didn’t need the other room because the air conditioning in my room was now working. The woman at the front apologized and asked if there was anything she could. Without hesitation, she offered to comp me a breakfast the next morning. This is an example of great customer service. The rooms here are beautiful and well-equipped, the pool is lovely, but the terrific customer service convinced me that whenever I am in London again, I will look to stay here.

It was odd that the front desk doesn’t have a phone. If you needed anything you had to send a message and wait for a reply.

The hotel was very quaint and in a safe, convenient location. The room was very dark. Dark walls, minimal lighting and very little light from outside.

It was bothersome to have to carry the bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner into the shower and keep them on the floor. Almost all hotels these days have them attached to the shower wall. And why no box of tissue in the room???
