I've stayed here before and it was as good as last time. Quiet rooms, soft beds, great shower. Easy to get to South Kensington tube. One minor quibble, any tea bags used weren't replenished.

And it’s not only about the variety, unfortunately food was not so tasty.
This is not a bad feedback pure and simple, we hope the hotel would consider our review to improve breakfast service.
But that said, we recommend this hotel and we will stay here again for sure!

The room we had was small - difficult to get around the bed. Bed was not that comfortable and pillows were not as you would expect for a 5 star hotel. It was clean and the staff friendly - breakfast was ok and the location close to the tube for easy access. Would not stay again due to room size and bed.

We love this quirky hotel. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are cosy and well equipped.

Rooms were quite dated and materials were extremely cheap (stick on plastic nightstand tops, fraying closet material). Serious lack of toiletries (one bathroom had no soap at all and shampoo and soap were all in one, no moisturiser).
Showers and bathtub are extremely slippery. I pulled a back muscle sliding in the shower and in our stay last week my daughter got a mild concussion (had to call for a doctor) slipping despite using the bathmat. In our second stay the AC was not working in our room at all. We advised the staff in the evening when we were back in our room but it was too late for them to fix it. Two nights of bad rest. Upon both check outs staff offered minor platitudes but nothing else for our troubles (lack of AC for two nights and concussion.)
The level of service (friendly but not particularly concerned), state of the room, materials and bare minimum amenities does not meet 5 star standards. Personally I think it’s closer to 3.5.
Location is excellent though and quiet but safe.

Stayed at the squint splash suite for a special occasion. The room is rather old. For the price, I would expect the hotel to atleast give a complimentary bottle of champagne for special occasions. But it did not feel special, hence the okay (3) score.

The bathroom was very poor, the sink was so set back between two interior walls that I had to stand sideways to brush my teeth. The light in our room 104 kept flickering, reported to reception and never got fixed in the 3 nights staying there and the bed slats were broken

Check in was friendly and efficient but upon arriving into the room, the temperature had been set to a face-melting 27.5 degrees on both of the a/c units. The room itself (we had the Jimmy Martin Suite) was funky enough but some of the fittings were worn and it didn’t have very well thought through layout - awkwardly placed plugs by the bed for example. Breakfast was a disappointment too (quite basic) and in general we felt a little underwhelmed by the whole experience which was meant to be an anniversary celebration.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. South Kensington tube station is a 5 minute safe walk away and it serves the Piccadilly Line which is a direct transit to Heathrow airport, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Knightsbridge …. which made my life a lot easier as a solo traveller. The hotel is spotless and my bedroom on the first floor was lovely. The photos on Expedia website do this hotel justice. I didn’t avail of breakfast but on the night I arrived I had dinner in the hotel and I found it very tasty. Before I arrived I sent several messages via the Expedia app to the hotel. All messages were answered promptly and all my requests were granted. The biggest compliment I can pay this hotel is to say that for my next visit to London I will endeavour to stay here again. Thank you to all staff I encountered on my visit. I haven’t anything negative to comment on.

I stayed with my husband for 3 nights in October. The location is great however we were placed in the smallest room ever. What disturbed me the most was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower walls were dirty. There's was mold around the shower door and the tub was leaking a greenish substance out of the facets. Upon check out I was not even asked how my stay was. The best part about our room was the size of the bathroom, although the extractor fan didn't work. I booked a standard double room and it was the size of a shoebox. Certainly not at all like the photos on the website. It was so small there was nowhere to put our luggage. The bed was very low, so difficult to get out of, and with very little space anyway at the side. The pillows were lumpy. A very small mirror was provided on the desk, You couldn't use the bathroom mirror because of the steam. When we informed reception the next day, we were informed it was the smallest bedroom in the building! It was clean is a redeeming feature, and the staff were friendly. Very disappointed and certainly not worth the money we paid.

Perfect for our week stay and South Kensington tube is ideal for in/out of LHR and hitting all the London highlights is easy with direct access to circle, district and Piccadilly lines. The hotel reception and bar/lounge area are clean, warm and. Inviting. The decor in the hotel is quirky. I booked two double rooms with queen size beds, but they were kingsize. The bedframe creaked loudly when turning over and due to the cheap waterproof mattress topper I was unable to sleep as it made me sweat. the en-suite was spacious with a large separate shower and bath. Unfortunately the cold tap on the bath was very stiff and i could only turn it a fraction and was then unable to turn it off. Due to a language problem we ordered 2 double gins from the bar and received 2, double, double gins and were charged £65. The manager refused to refund us saying she was unable to as it had already been put on the system but instead gave us free tonic and a bottle of their top Prosecco that sells in tescos for £12.50. We didnt wart this as we already had quadruple gins to drink and we were travelling by bike and had minimal luggage space. I am still waiting for someone to get back to me about our stay. It may be an unfortunate set of problems that just happened to us, as it really is a nice hotel

Staff was nice, room was clean, it was convenient to many dining options and the Tube. The only issue we had was that from 8 am-11:30 pm we could hear techno music playing through the walls. It wasn’t terribly loud, but it was noticeable and annoying. Not sure if it was coming from the place next door or what, but I wish that hadn’t been a part of our stay.

We stayed one night at the Exibitionist. Loved the hotel location! The room was nicely appointed, the bathroom modern and very clean. The lobby was nice and although I didn't eat there, other visitors were saying they enjoyed their dinner.
The only observation is the room (top floor) was warm, even though it was only 60 outside. The AC did not work in the room, the fan would come on and then immediately cut off. They did provide a fan, but it was old and not working well. I tried opening the windows but there was no breeze to speak of. So I didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped at the start of a long trip.
