This hotel and room was so disgusting. The carpet had huge stains. The curtains were stained all over. Worst of all the room smelled like sewage. I went to a different hotel even though I had pre paid for 3 days. Do not be fooled. The rooms are filthy.

The room was disappointing as the pictures depicted when searched beforehand look to be kept up. When arriving the room was clean but the carpet was old and stained and the walls marked up. We asked for help with the safe in the room and received none. Also asked for a wash cloth to wash face and were told only suites get wash cloths! Unbelievable! Guess the middle class guests aren't expected to wash their faces???

This was our second time staying here while in London. Room was comfortable, had an issue with the safe but was quickly resolved. Breakfast is GREAT! Easy access to underground with a 5 min walk, also close to shops Tesco sainsbury, staff always nice and helpful. Would stay again!

The room was very small, not much fit in the room besides a double bed. Hotel was fine because we were out all day in London, but this wasn't a hotel that I would relax in.

This hotel was chosen because of its convenience to the train and bus stations. Location is also very close to Earls Court. Friendly staff, easy check in and out. Our room was a bit on the small side, but okay. Hotel overall is dated, but price was comparable. Hotel is closing for major renovations soon.

The room itself did not feel clean and the bathroom definitely wasn’t. Someone had been smoking in the room and it smelled like it had been covered up with cheap perfume. There were also stains all over the walls and carpet.

I had stayed there two years ago twice and the rooms were really clean and smelled good. This time the room smelled like sewer and the window in the bathroom wouldn't close so we had to deal with noises from the pigeons. The room was not that clean like other times before. We didn't say anything because it was just going to be for one night.

Location was great- near a tube stop, restaurants and museums. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. We were disappointed that we did not have a refrigerator in the room and were told the hotel was undergoing renovation soon so all the refrigerators had been removed from the rooms. It definitely needs an upgrade as the carpets were old and hallways smelled musty.

It was exactly what we expected from a budget hotel. I was a little confused when the staff couldn’t provide a recommendation for an English breakfast or a pub nearby. I wouldn’t thought that would’ve been a very common question from tourists. All in all, the stay was comfortable but it won’t blow your socks off. It was a little run-down.

Polite helpful staff. Since the details of issues or problems in any room would be noticed by the cleaning staff, management would do well to ask them to report. The closer on my room door did not function properly, held the door open, slammed it unexpectedly, etc but apparently nobody had reported it for repair. Non-cleaning staff should inspect.
If you close the curtains without unplugging the coffee pot, it gets swept onto the floor. Hmmm

Slightly disappointed with the property for what we paid. I expected nicer amenities and spacious rooms, where what we received was the bare minimum in terms of quality. Stained carpets and shabby furniture made the hotel seem run down. The front desk staff were friendly upon arrival. Conveniently located near a tube stop and museums. Overall decent mid-budget hotel option for the area.

One of the best aspects of this hotel is its location. It is near the Gloucester Road station and several museums. The hotel itself was average. It was a bit dated and carpet stains were visible. The room was adequate. The bed was good, and there was a desk and a television. The shower was quite good, but the bathroom didn't have a place to put products, which is my habit when taking a trip. I did not see a luggage rack. There was not a refrigerator in the room and I also didn't see an ice maker.

My rating is not higher is due to the following issue. On the first day of my stay, I reported to the front desk that the air conditioning in my room didn't appear to be working. Someone from the front desk came up to check and then went back to the desk. I then received a phone call in my room from the other staff member at the front desk. She stated that the maintenance staff who would need to look at the air conditioning unit to fix it were not there that day, but could come tomorrow to fix it. She stated that I would be given at 20% refund on the first night of my stay and that a fan could be brought to my room. I accepted this, and I was brought a fan. The air conditioning unit was fixed the next day and worked for the remainder of my stay. I prepaid with Travelocity, so I contacted them after returning home to ask about the partial refund. I was told they tried but weren't able to get a refund approval from the property manager. I emailed the hotel twice and received no reply.

The location is great. I booked two rooms and requested weeks ago to have the rooms adjoining or near each other, the request was not met and the rooms were two floors apart. On the first room’s floor there was construction so everyday we had to navigate through the construction to get to our rooms. The buffet we were told was one price I attempted to pay for it the night before and I was told not to worry that I would pay the morning of not knowing I would be charged additional charges for paying the day of.

The propertywas undergoing construction and updating. It didn't interfere with our location, but obviously our area was not yet updated. We asked for a queen bed and it was very small. Better to ask for king. Sizes in Europe are different

Room itself needed more clothing storage. Drawers or shelves. Also, there should be a refrigerator to keep drinks cold for travelers. Toilet paper holder in a terrible location, behind elbow. Blow dryer in an awkward location under desk. Not much space around sink.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Very knowledgeable about area and transportation. Location extremely convenient.

Power went out and so they had to move us at 11:30pm and didn’t get moved until 1:30am. So this was very frustrating and we had to demand it otherwise they would not have accommodated us. Got to sleep at 2:30am and missed our next day tours.

Good area, close to Gloucester station, Waitrose and Boots. Walkable to Science and V&A Museums. The staff was lovely. The room was compact and furnishings a bit tired, but the air conditioner was amazing! Their bar is huge- stopped in there for a drink before bed one night. Only me and one other patron! I left early so didn’t get the breakfast.

This was a great location, lobby is beautiful and staff were kind with a restaurant on site. Gym was out of service for restoration for the year which would’ve been nice to know prior to booking. Our room was small and dark but fine and clean. The bathroom was large but the sink didn’t drain. Not exactly a luxury experience but not a horrible one either.

However the gym and public office work areas were both closed, leaving me to have to sit in the lobby with my laptop to complete some work when I arrived early. Good room, with queen bed (not a tiny double), working AC.
Hotel has a surprisingly good paid breakfast, with much better meat and pastry options than many.
What really makes it though is just a wonderful location in Kensington, walkable to the park, tons of restaurants, and only 2 blocks to Gloucester tube station which is on 3 main lines.

The entrance to the hotel was extremely clean and welcoming. Once in the room, we realized the floor was stained and not clean, the shower had noticeable mold. The air conditioning was not working and we were unable to open the windows. The staff informed us the widows can only be opened by maintenance for a few hours a day. Overall price was not worth the amenities.

Hotel was very conveniently located and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious, consistent and well worth the cost. My only complaint would be that neither of the sinks in the bathroom drained well which made shaving difficult. I understand that the section in which we stayed will be closed for remodeling soon so hopefully that issue will be resolved. Despite the drainage issue I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A good place to stay for the Royal Albert Hall it was within walking distance. The room we had was clean and compact. nothing like the photo's. bathroom was clean. and there were plenty or towels a small tea and coffee station. reception did provide extra tea and milk. Would I stay in this hotel again!!! yes. the one thing that did let it down was check in time at 4pm

Park International Hotel is located conveniently near Gloucester Road tube station, a nice Thai restaurant across the street and Museum of Natural History and Victoria and Albert Museum are within walking distance. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful, which is a big plus. The breakfast choices are good and freshly made. We will surely stay there again should we go back and visit London.

Do not book single rooms. These are so small to accommodate one person and these are located in odd locations/old maid rooms. Do not look like the ones on the website. I had to upgrade myself (front desk didn’t offer one for misrepresentation) bc I couldn’t manage to stay in such rooms. Location is close to Gloucester tube station. You will hear the tube at night. It’s an old fashion English hotel needs an upgrade badly on carpets, walls and furniture. It was clean and close to Kensington palace.

We travel a lot - probably 5 different hotels per year and I have always been happy- this time I was sooo disappointed in the Park International- we had the worst room I have ever been in- 4 of us had to take 2 hours to shower as the drain would not .. well drain, water would overflow damaging the door, wall , frame- the toilet seat was completely off the toilet, how could the housekeepers not know?
Anyway no called back to repair- I never say this usually but I do not recommend.

Pro: Good location near subway station and dining options around. Cons: Poor maintenance overall, washrooms in poor condition (my double room had the sink and shower drains clogged), furniture and decorations ready for recycling, common areas had a weird odour. Maybe a good hotel option for really short stays and travelling solo. In my opinion, if you see the rate above $150 you should consider other options. I should also mention a missing property issue I had during my stay, which I already flagged to the hotel management, and taking it to the authorities and consumer protection, therefore I will not comment further on this matter at this point.

Bathroom door opened up against the wall, so had to close the door before you can go further into room.
Bathroom light and extractor fan wouldn’t switch off so noise all night.
Curtain’s dirty. View from room was a generator.

Bed was comfy, and a nice addition to the room was a fridge but feel the hotel was overpriced for what we paid.

Great Option in London!

I went with my friend and as two young women traveling we felt very safe here at this hotel! The room is the perfect size with a wardrobe cabinet and a spacious bathroom for UK and big city standards. It is in a great neighborhood was close walking distance to a lot of things including a tube station. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again!

The park international hotel is in an excellent location. We were two blocks from Gloucester Station, which took us anywhere we wanted to go in the city.
There were several restaurants across the street and within two blocks of walking. There was a large grocery store, one block away.
The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, large selection, and fresh.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. It made our stay perfect.

Overall it worths 4.5 stars , great location- bus and train stations are just 2mins away, another 10mins walk to Museum Road which includes some top 10 attractions in London. I stayed in double room the bed is very comfortable and window is facing the street, may need some refurbishment especially the rugs. Hotel breakfast is good , staff are helpful and friendly.
