Room was clean, great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and room good for a couple of nights in London. Only negative comment relates to the room being quite hot and the bathroom needing a bit of tlc. However, everything was clean and functional. Would stay again and recommend.

They had a room available and let us check in early

Cons:

The bathrooms are visibly moldy, so much so that I felt sick the entire time I was there and my son's skin condition flared up.

We switched rooms and they said they'd inspected the new one for mold... but the ceiling in the bathroom was speckled in mold and the floors and shower were also very gross.

If you have any issues with mold, proceed with extreme caution. It's one of the moldiest hotels I've stayed in.

I have used the K Hotel before, located a few minutes walk from the Gloucester Road Underground.

Booked here as this is a pleasant 15-minute brisk walk to the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

The rooms always look immaculate, this was double room, on the 4th Floor, spacious and modern lighting, the room has drinks station to make tea/coffee, a safe and spacious hanging, the bathroom is always warm thank to the heated towel rail, with large shower, that has rainfall and handheld modes.

Locally there are a number of restaurants and amenities, as well

with a great range of shops only minutes away.

The hotel is centrally located in South Kensington. The hotel is a few blocks away from the metro station and only a few stops away from all the major attractions. Also, there are plenty of shopping and dinning options nearby.

Unfortunately, the location of this hotel is the only good thing about it. The hotel is rundown and in desperate need of a remodel. My room smelled like cigarettes mixed with air freshener. The towels felt like sandpaper and so did the toilet paper. The room was cleaned every day so that was nice. But overall, there aren't many good things I could say about this hotel.

I was concerned reading previous reviews however we were totally delighted with our stay. The value for money, how close we were to everything,tubes etc brilliant, yes the room was smallish however we were in it only a short time. Late at night and away first thing in London all day for 3 days. How they managed to tidy our room after we left was amazing as 4 females we really had a lot of stuff to step through to tidy, fresh towels daily. I would recommend

Rooms were clean and bathrooms were gorgeous and recently renovated.

Breakfast is very poor. Basic cereals, only almond and soya milk available for dairy intolerant guests. Turkey rashers and chicken sausages only. Cold mushrooms and average hash browns. Tea and coffee out of a machine. There is a selection of baked goods but the hot food counter is very lacking. Breakfast is not substantial enough to satisfy hunger.

Stag were lovely and very obliging.

Hotel in great location and very near tube station.

The room was far too warm, even with the window open it was uncomfortably warm. The bed was a little uncomfortable too, the mattress was too soft which meant I kept slipping off the edge in the night. The staff were friendly and welcoming though and the hotel is in a great location with many local amenities.

Check in was incredibly efficient if done online as I had done but was inconvenient for people who hadn’t and were causing a queue so would recommend you follow their advice! Good facilities and very attractive area close to gloucester road and south kensington station etc. Would recommend

Last minute Cyber Monday booking for a concert trip. Happened to check in shortly after check in opened. The allocated room was ground floor road facing, which I thought 'ah well, bad luck'. We later visited the bathroom and found it to be an accessible room. At that stage we needed to leave and didn't raise with reception. In any event I find rasing an issue quite stressful But the room was not as expected. Raised the matter with reception at the next useful opportunity. Fair to say that we didnt reach a common understanding: me saying it's not a room that I expected, them saying it's a double room allocated as available (which I get), me saying it warranted a fuller explanation at check in, them not seeing that being relevant as the website photo is just an example and that our room is comparable, me saying it's a modified room, and not as expected, and not at all like the photo, them saying should have raised at the time, me saying that it's not easy when you are looking for a relaxed start to your trip. I got the impression that the onus on me was to complain at the outset. In which case it is my conclusion that I should be, which isn't a way I wish to be expected to behave. I remain disappointed with the visit, and wasn't offered any further redress/discussion. My fault it seems. It's difficult to reject a room and then potentially be left without accomodation, all within a very short time period. I didn't feel looked after. I

Got given room 316 very clean at front of hotel it is on the main road so very noisy until about 3 in the morning construction work going on at hotel on opposite side. Breakfast has cereals toast cakes and hot fried tomatoes scrambled eggs chicken sausages turkish bacon hash browns mushrooms you can ask for a poached or fried egg also machine for making coffee and hot chocalate. Staff were very friendly change of clean towels and bedding even though only there for 2 nights would recommend as a good point for visiting the west side of london within walking distance of nat hist museum and science museum. Would recommend maybe 1 or 2 chairs in room as only bed to sit on apart from that a very pleasant stay

I found that noise from the traffic really loud it sound like the windows are open but they are shut, it sounds like a lot of people who was staying there had similar experiences. This hotel needs double glazing or triple glazing.
I booked for two nights but with hardly any sleep We left next morning and found a quieter hotel

Great location for the tube, less than 10 minutes walk from Gloucester Road. Handy Waitrose just beside the tube, some fast food outlets and bars too.
Room was tiny, only a double bed and room to shuffle around it. Fresh towels left during our 2 night stay and basic toiletries provided.
Kettle in room with tea, coffee and biscuits.
We didn't book breakfast so can't comment. We did leave luggage on our last morning and it was stored securely until we collected it before heading for our train.

BED BUGS & STAINED SHEETS:
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel as there were bed bugs in my room, specifically on the bed and curtains. After multiple conversations with the hotel staff they swapped my room, which took around an hour and I ended up getting to sleep at 02:30.
I am covered in bites on my legs and will have to quarantine my belongings to ensure the bed bugs do not enter my home.
There were also stains and hair on the sheets.
I was not issued an apology and had to insist on a new room.
For the price and the cleanliness there a better hotels available. The area around the hotel however is very convenient.

Location of the hotel was great - only about a 5 minute walk to Gloucester station which made it super handy to get around London. We booked a double room for 7 days and it was very spacious (might have got lucky with this) and clean. The only thing I would say is because it was an old building, sound from the corridor and people walking down nearby stairs could be heard. Overall a fantastic spot for a great price and would go back.

Clean and professional. Easy transportation from ST Pacras train station and even LCY airport. Close by Piccadilly line so traveling popular areas were so easy. Even walkable to Kensington palace and Hyde park areas. We were able to visit science and dinosaur museum which was our favourite at the first day by walking. 20-30 mins to other locations like London eye and Big Ben.

The rooms were perfectly fine and gave us a good resting place. The property is very well located, a short walk from an underground station on the circle and district lines. We could also easily walk to Hyde Park, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Royal Albert Music Hall. This was what we really valued about this hotel. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We did not breakfast in the hotel, so I can’t speak to that experience. All in all, this was a perfect hotel for the location and comfort we needed.

Clean, hot water, quiet inside. VERY noisy outside. Cromwell Rd busy all night with heavy traffic .I'm used to it but not for someone who's noise sensitive. It was like sleeping on hard shoulder!

I was given a room on 0 floor, by the road which was noisy; I couldn’t sleep very well not happy about that.
Also, the heating system didn’t work properly blowing air although I set it but not good and noisy. The TV not working.
All in all not happy. And Staff not very pleasant.

I stayed at K Hotel Kensington for an extended period. The rooms are average by UK standards with en suite bathrooms. It as exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. It has a breakfast for a few which I did not try. It is in a great location minutes from Gloucester Road tube station and a short walk to Kensington High Street and Hyde Park. I would stay again.
