The room was very clean and the hotel was ideally placed for local shops and Earls Court tube. We could also walk to the museums in Kensington.
After a slightly frosty reception when we arrived a bit early, the staff very nice and arranged to get some oat milk as breakfast is not vegan friendly, but we had not requested this in advance, so unfair to expect differently.

A great hotel in the perfect location to go in and out of central London. First time staying in Earls Court and the area was lovely. Hotel was clean, rooms were really nice and staff were very polite. Overall was a great stay and would absolutely return and recommend.

This hotel should NOT be considered 4 stars, 3 stars maximum. It’s very outdated. The photos are not what we saw. The carpet was very old and dirty, the shower tiny and very difficult to open and close the glass door. There was only ONE outlet in the entire room (and none in the bathroom). The carpet wasn’t vacuumed any day, just towels were changed, not even the sink was cleaned. The bed sheets were changed only one time during 5 nights we were there. I guess the best thing about the room was an ok comfortable bed. They really need a renovation.

This hotel exceeded our expectation!! Yes, the room is tiny, but so wonderfully designed with hooks and has everything you need!! Loved having the robes, tea and coffee with an electric tea kettle. The bed was extremely comfortable and as a bonus we had a small balcony overlooking a private park. Delightful! So convenient to various public transportation and wonderful food options just down the street. Would stay again!

The room I had was absolutely teeny. The bed is not long enough for an average person. I am 5’7” and I could not extend my feet comfortably because the footboard was in the way. Anyone taller than me would just not fit. The showers are teeny with bad water pressure. I hit all the shower walls with my elbows because I had no room to move. I also had to drag my suitcase up and down stairs because the elevator did not go to the floors of the rooms. While the location is convenient, I do not recommend due to the quality of these rooms.

We enjoyed our stay just did not have any TV for the 2 days there, said no signal, which was annoying. Rooms were modernized and bed was comfortable but ours was very small. We had to pay an extra £35 to check in at 12.30. Breakfast was good.

It feels like a bed and breakfast type of hotel. Staff are friendly. Hotel is clean in general, but the bathroom in the dining area is so small. Breakfast is great, especially the home-made colossal. Room is quite small -- typical in London --and bed is not so comfortable. If you are looking for a family-run nice place, then you will like it. But it's not like a 4 or even 3-star type of hotel.

The manager Roberta is a terrible representation of this hotel. her disgusting attitude and negligence got my car towed at £360 pounds. It’s common courtesy to inform guest about parking ANYWHERE. She did not. The hotel itself is cute, small but neat. The A/C didn’t work and I had to sleep with the window open. My room is also a fire safety issue as my door is at a right angle with the fire exit/hallway door. Can not have my door open while that one is open, as it impedes either of us from moving.

The location was good, close to quite a few restaurants and Earls Court tube station. The breakfast is quite good. It was advertised as air conditioned hotel but we were extremely disappointed when the room didn’t feel air conditioned at all. It was during the heat wave and I had to go and buy an electric fan to survive the night. They said they would have someone fix it the next morning. It seems to work for an while and it stopped working during the night so I was drenched in sweat the next morning. It was just too uncomfortable to stay when it is hot.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel, it had a great location with tube station, bars, shops and restaurants just a very short walk away.
Hotel was very clean with lovely friendly staff.
Only negative was the room I booked was very small, I wouldn't recommend if you were staying for more than a couple of nights as we stayed in the small double room.
I would definitely stay there again but book a standard or superior room next time.

Excellent location just around the corner from Earls Court tube station and easy walking distance to restaurants and fast food outlets. Very quiet street. My single room on the top floor had a nice outlook over the park, lots of natural light. The room was small but very modern and had everything I needed with a few nice touches like a robe. It was very comfortable although I am a small person and I don't think it would be suitable for very tall or large people.
Cleanliness was average, could have been better, but adequate. Shower pressure was very low, but that could be due to being on the top floor.
Some noise at night from adjoining rooms, especially when people are outside in the hallway, but this is probably to be expected in this type of small hotel where space is a premium and it is difficult to install sound proofing.

The letdown was having to sit sideways on the toilet because there's no room on the right and the sink is to the left. The shower was refreshing, though, it was a squeeze going in sideways as the gap to get into the shower was approximately 28cm or 11 inches. Not ideal for a majority of people.
The breakfast was good enough for coffee, freshly baked croissants, yogurts, fruits, meat, cheese, bread and rolls. Plenty to choose from as was the drinks, different teas, chocolate etc. Cannot fault that and the breakfast staff efficient and attentive.

Overall, a pleasant stay with clean rooms and a great location. However, I was disappointed by the attitude of one of the front desk staff. This issue kept it from being a perfect experience but it’s still a solid choice.

The staff did an excellent job of welcoming us and attending to our needs. They offered help even before we asked for it. The breakfast was excellent The location only two blocks from the Earls Court tube. Good pubs in a few blocks distance a Marks & Spencer mini store half a block away. Wine shop also a half block. Starbucks just around the corner. Competitive fare. The elevator was very small not sure a wheelchair could get in and if even if it did, there are still stairs to negotiate.

The room was small but the shower was tiny .converstions and TV sound from adjacent rooms was audible. Most importantly the lift did not go up to the rooms on the top floor and there was no assistance in carrying my bags up and down a flight of stairs. On the plus side the breakfast was good and the location across from a tube stop was great. However at this price I did not expect anything more than a basic room and for that the hotel delivered.

Room was small but modern. Weird thing though the wall from the bathroom to the bedroom was made of glass, which offered limited privacy when using the toilet. No idea why they designed it that way. Not sure if all the rooms are like that.

Henley House is a lovely little hotel very close to Earles Court tubes station. The rooms are small but well equipped. Shower is on the small side but had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. I was in a room at the front of the hotel. Usually in London this means loads of street noise. This hotel is on a quiet street so didn't suffer from that issue. Overall this is a great place to stay for a trip to central London.

The shower is 2’x2’. The layout of the bathroom is tight and dangerous. We had to use a hand towel to wipe up floor from the shower. The shower controls were confusing and were nearly scalded. We left it on the floor to have it replaced. The towel was put back on the rack vs. being replaced. The check in was not friendly. Check-out was fine.

Too small a space but lovely generally
This hotel is clean, convenient, and includes a breakfast with options and enough to fill you up for the morning. Unfortunately, the room we were in was TINY. I more or less knew that from the booking but it was smaller than I expected. The bathroom was so small, when I sat on the toilet, my knees almost hit the opposite wall. The shower was not the smallest I’ve ever had, thankfully. The sink, though, was probably the smallest I’ve ever seen apart from in an airplane. The door could not open fully- it was blocked by the sink. Also, the air conditioner would shut off automatically in the middle of the night. (We had a particularly warm evening and outside noise, though minimal, and smokers led us to preferring the a/c over the open windows)

Honestly, apart from the size of the room the hotel was great. I especially loved the lighting in the room!! The sparkling lights on the ceiling were a nice touch.

This hotel has cats. I am violently allergic to cats. I had no idea I had to ask a decent hotel whether they have cats. I asked for a refund, to which the manager agreed. Please facilitate.

The hotel is very convenient to Earl's Court tube station and there are some decent restaurants within a block or two. The room was compact and had all needed amenities, but it was on the upper 4th floor meaning I still had to carry my bag up a flight of stairs because lift didn't go all the way up. The hotel is enamored with technology--form over function. It has a ridiculous faucet in the bathroom, but lacks instructions for air-conditioner--had to keep turning on and off so didn't freeze or roast. Last, checking-in on keyboard at front door is ridiculous--especially with someone at desk watching my frustrating attempts to enter information after 18 hours of travel. Sometimes, there is too much technology and not enough of the human. This hotel exemplifies this problem unfortunately.

The room was small, sure, but that wasn't a surprise since it states quites clearly in the description that it is a small room!! The room and bathroom were spotless. Even though I faced the main road, it wasn't noisy, and the staff were some of the friendliest I've ever met. The only tiny annoyance was that I wish they had either mentioned that there is a plug adapter in the room (or put it in a more obvious location) because I went to buy another one to add to my collection of plug adapters. But that's more my fault than anything. Just mentioning it here so future guests will know to look for it. And I wish there had been a recycling bin either in the room or in the lobby. Otherwise, it's nice little hotel in a great location. I would recommend.

There was a problem with the booking, but not from the hotel, but they were extremely agile and helpful and managed to solve the problem without any problems. Very well located and clean! Rooms that I stayed were small, but this was already the description of the room, so no surprise and it worked out very well.

I loved my room. The reception lady needs to learn how to smile, she seemed very uptight but she was nice enough. I just think saying “welcome” with a smile is missing here which is a shame. Apart from that the breakfast is ok, the awesome waitress's I’d read comments about didn’t say one word to me. I just felt like I was in there way. The dining area is small. Only one person can get breakfast at a time and so timing is important.’
