Staff is very kind and professional. Lobby is spacious and equipped for a half day of work (wifi, low desk space/seating, free coffee). However, rooms are very small and standard. Not ideal for long stay, but priced well and sufficient for a quick layover stay. Breakfast is very standard and not worth the added cost - you can find a better breakfast for a better price nearby.

A great stay! Hotel is really close to Earls Court metro station and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The all day free coffee , tea and cookies in the lobby was a nice touch especially when coming back from a whole day of sight seeing. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was fine, had what I needed but the staff on the desk when I arrived and had spoken to on the phone were rude, no customer service. My dad major surgery which is why I was in London and when I spoke about this there was no reaction, empathy or kind response or even kind general customer service, the gentleman on departure smiled and was nice so this did not include him.

The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel was an easy 5 minute walk to Earl's Court Tube Station with the Piccadilly and District lines. Heathrow is on the Piccadilly, so easy. The neighborhood has many good restaurants and coffe shops.

Overall a nice stay, close to transport, many food options in close proximity and breakfast had a good range of options. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only complaints are the size of the rooms (expected for the area but nothing too horrible) and that the walls were thin. We were able to hear conversations in the next room over and door slamming was an issue.

The room serves its purpose which is all I could ask for.

We love our room , it has a single
Room and a double room a few steps upstairs and it is cleans and smells nice. The staff let us check in early and we managed to rest before we went out for the night concert. We love the complimentary hot drinks in the reception and in bedroom

The hotel was recently renovated in the last 10 years and its still shows. I had a single room. Bed, linens and accomodations were comfortable, clean and convienant. The best was the beautiful bathrooms and rain shower. Good pressure and hot water on demand made the trip even better.

Great room in a great location. Only downside was the room had no utensils (plate/cutlery etc) so eating anything was messy, and the shower was even tinier than you can imagine. Fine if you’re average size or below, but anyone on the bigger side (including big/muscley) would’ve struggled.

The hotel is ideally situated to explore London and very close to the subway Earls Court station. Rooms are small and beds also so if you are tall like me this is a disadvantage but it is acceptable. Room is cleaned daily. Continental breakfast is good value for 10 pounds.

Staff were very nice and accommodating! Housekeeping was prompt and did a great job. They even had staff show us to our room and carry our luggage. Room is smaller than average hotels, however had a great a price and location. Would go again! Thank you to the staff for giving us a memorable vacation.

If you just need somewhere to sleep and affordable I think this place is pretty good. And it is in Kensington you can walk to natural history museum, science museum and Victoria art museum. Lobby is nice, just grab you laptop and do what you need to do. I find it pretty quiet, everybody busy with them self.

Accessibility education needed

Nothing like the brochure pictures, but apparently it is not important to accommodate disabled or elderly guests.
The staff were lovely, but it felt like I was not the first to raise issues around accessibility. The owners clearly have no idea what guests need, as shown in only one question asked about the topic, which was about wheelchairs.
There was no comfortable chair, just a foot stool which I was unable to wear. Nice carpets in hallways but not so nice in the room. Holes in bedding, and worst of all, the tiny television screen. For context the photo has my hand touching the screen. I could not only see the screen when on the bed. I also needed to be very careful not to knock the tv off the wall when I walked (sideways) past the bed because the space between the bed and the wall was only about 5 or 6 inches. Most painful indeed for me to do because of my disability.

Basement room thay was dark, dirty and noisy from the tube line underneath.
No iron, had to ask at Reception and then struggled with the iron and ironing board theough 3 doors, a lift and two flighst of stairs and multiple tight corners to our room.
Tall tiny window with roller blind that didnt properly shut so bright in the morning.
Bed had one side againsr the wall which are SO thin, and very uncomforatble bed.
Dirty bathroom and poorly closing doors, stiff taps.
Staff seem quiet and hide.
Great convenient location but wont be coming back unless a better room is available here.

We had constant problems with next room neighbors being loud until 10 pm or 11 pm almost every night. I went the front desk several times. It was ridiculous, especially for the amount of money I spent to stay there. Our room was in the basement- it stunk the entire time. Smelled like mold, and felt damp in there. Was terrible getting room attendants the first day- I scheduled a room clean, but it wasn’t done- and I was blamed for putting the “ do not disturb” sign on the door- so they didn’t even knock or see if we were there- AFTER I scheduled my room to be cleaned. The desk attendant wouldn’t even touch our towels when I took them to the front desk- to get clean ones. Our entire stay was not what it should have been- I spent WWWAAAYYYYY too much money for the crappy service, and the noise constantly.

My daughter and I stayed at the Mowbray Court in the Annex section. The room was spotless and the air con worked brilliantly on such a hot weekend. The hotel is a 3 min walk to Earls Court and we also walked through gorgeous areas to the Royal Albert Hall and Notting Hill and felt safe. Would definitely stay again. We even got to check in early!

Wouldn’t recommend, was not impressed with the room at all

We booked a double room for three nights
On arrival we were asked if we would like a larger room, to which we said yes. We were then asked if we were okay with a lower ground floor room which we said no too.

We were given a ground floor room that was probably the smallest in the whole hotel and a tiny window and a view of other people’s windows.

We were unable to open the curtains the entire stay as we did not want someone to see in and that room was not big enough for two at all

Our wishes at reception were not listened too at all after being asked specific questions about our preferences

We did not opt for breakfast and were glad that we didn’t after seeing it. You could get a much nicer continental breakfast just round the corner at a lovely cafe

It was not a comfortable stay for us at all and were very disappointed in this

unfortunately, i was assigned to a room in the basement. the air did not smell good for me never lived in a basement before. At around 12:30 am in the morning while we all were sleeping, the fire alarm suddenly was on for almost one minute and went out of the room and the guy from the adjacent room also came out and wondering what was going on. I did not get an explanation for the early wake up call at all.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was clean. The room was small but comfortable—perfect for a short stay.

One of the best perks was that they offered to hold our luggage after checkout. Our flight wasn’t until 6:30 PM, so this worked out perfectly and saved us around $15 in storage fees.

The only downside was the lack of complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. Our luggage was delayed for three days, so having to go out and buy basics after a long flight was a bit of a hassle.

The location was excellent! Earl’s Court train station was just around the corner, and the neighborhood had plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. Just note there aren’t any clothing stores nearby, which would’ve been helpful in our situation.

location is perfect - close to the tube station. room looks nothing like the photos. very small and the entrance to both buildings has stairs, so you need to carry your luggage up and down. would be suitable for one night in transit, not a long term stay. would not fit more than 1 person and their bag in the room.

Do not stay here!! Me and my mother were given a room with no A/C and their resolution was to give us 2 personal fans to keep us cool. Not only were we super hot in the middle of summer, we were poorly accommodated and expected to deal with it — a staff member even laughed at us having no access to cool air.

We travel to London as a family of four. This was the second hotel we stayed in during our stay in London. Do not book this hotel if you are travelling as a family. Not sure if as a couple we would have had a much better experience and been given a room anywhere above ground but we ended up in a basement with little windows that could not be opened (curtains) due to privacy from the sidewalk. In addition, the room was the size of a closet with poor or lack of amenities in the room. Very little space to lay any of our belonging anywhere other than the floor ( there was a open closet with some hangers). Imagine a bathroom to accommodate four people with not one shelf (not exaggerating) to place toiletries on only a flouting sink with no ledges. When we asked for kleenex, the front desk wasn't sure what we were talking about and told us we have toilet paper. The beds were like rollaways, they moved from their spot. Yes, the lobby was very nicely presented, there was a self serve coffee and tea bar so when we arrived it felt like hotels we were a custom to but provided we just came from another hotel in a different part of London within the same price tag, this was horrid. Like I said, not sure if the above ground level rooms were better and couples are treated with some form of comfort but we were in a dark basement hole. We were not travelling with little noisy children rather with young adults.

Horrendous. They didn’t even have me in the main hotel, I was in an annex building and the room didn’t have a lift to the floor they put me on. Elderly customers would be finding it massively difficult if they stay there. I felt the hotel punished me with the worst room because I booked at a discount. Even when checking in the receptionist had absolutely zero sympathy for the room, which smelled like mould and damp… the bathroom was clean and the bedding was fine but the bed itself wasn’t even attached to the wall and the size of the room was a glorified storage closet. They advertise that room for a cash grab and if I’d known in advance about any of these things I would have just booked somewhere else.

This is a very affordable option in a relatively recently renovated building and only 2 mins from Earls Court tube. Only stayed a night for hospital and it was a pleasant experience. Check in was great. The room was reasonably sized, the bathroom was a bit confusingly laid out but it was manageable.
The hotel was clean and tidy and offered a continental breakfast and an all day coffee and tea station. If the breakfast is anything like the drinks station that I’m sure it’s more than sufficient.
