Staff was incredibly nice and the check-in/check-out process was simple. It was nice to be able to drop off my bag before the room was ready and I was able to check in an hour earlier than expected! The room isn't particularly big, but it was more than nice enough for a single night stay like I did. Close to the Earl's Court station and near a lot of wonderful food places, which made my short stay worth it.

The room and the shower was very good - especially the shower was spotless. Although, when I asked about couple of simple amenities like slippers, I was told \"We don't have anything.\" That threw me off..

Also, in the descriptions it says there's complementary breakfast and in fact there isn't - that should be corrected.

It was overall a good stay.

We arrived to a hotel in the dark, but luckily it was only the reception/ground floor that had no power, our floor was fine. The staff were friendly enough but not overly enthusiastic. The room was basic and one of the windows didn’t close properly, but it was clean, well presented and surprisingly quiet considering how close to the main road it is. There was no breakfast offered but you are a minute from the main road with multiple restaurants/pubs/shops so it’s easy to sort yourself out meals. Ideal location to explore the London area as there’s a tube station on the main road. It’s a fairly lively area and we felt reasonably safe walking around in the evening.

When I got there the place was dark becuase they had no power apparently on some of the floors. Room was't ready even though it was after check in time. Waited in the dark in Reception for 20 minutes as the maintenance man was doing some DIY in the room I was to have apparently. Asked if there was another room I could have, they said they were fully booked and my room was recently renovated (as in still being?). Room was ok when I finally got in; clean and smelled like fresh paint but there was no where to hang clothes. Also very noisy and was woken up nearly every hour from 4am onwards with doors, creaky floorboards and talking. Don't know if it was staff or other guests but very poor sound insulation of room. Not a good nights sleep! Wouldn't stay again!

The room and bathroom were renovated. Genetically cozy and clean. Large bathroom, but without a bath only a shower cabin. The shower is hot and has a good flow. The biggest minus is that there is a lot of noise, namely from ten o'clock in the evening throughout the night and until the morning. There are no carpets in the rooms, so the knocking of heels, loud talking, coughing, blowing your nose, pushing and pulling of something did not allow you to fall asleep and rest until the morning. And in the morning the same thing started again at the same time. There is no noise from the street, only from the neighboring and upper rooms. I was sleepless for two nights. The hotel does not have an elevator and it was really difficult to climb to the third floor in wet clothes. We felt unsafe going down because the stairs were very steep and creaky. We are really disappointed

Clean modern room. Transportation only 2 min away. Room walls were thin and you can hear everything. Doors slam shut. Didn’t sleep all night. No stairs or staff to help carry your luggage. Not sure how they can claim it to be 3-star hotel. The room that we got was at the forth floor. Basically an attic converted to room. You cannot even full stand near bed or in shower. The mirror in bath was at the chest height. You have to stoop to view face. Fittings in bath were falling apart. Heating was not working. And did I say that you have to haul your luggage four floors as there is no elevators. No door handle on the front door. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Old and tired needs some TLC

So we were put in room 20 when we arrived which are the pictures provided and it was disgusting, the mattress was so old the springs were trying to escape from the sides, the shower head was covered in lime scale and the bathroom in general was showing age as was the room entirely as well as the state of the hotel. We complained and the staff were great and moved us to room 5 which had been refurbished. This was much nicer, newer and cleaner. However the shower was tiny for my 6.2ft frame, I've included a photo to show how small it is. I had to keep the doors open just so I could move my arms to clean myself.

The main bonus was it was a 2 mins walk to earls court underground.

Very convenient fr Earls Court tube station for onward journey to Central London. Lots of eateries and shops close by. Hotel has 24 hour reception and friendly and helpful staff. Be aware there is no lift in the property and lots of stairs. Our room (40) was right at the top on the 4th floor which only had sky lights and was large as it was a family room. Very handy to get the tube to Wimbledon.

It’s convenient, close to amenities, no frills.

Bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin.

Shower, the shower was tiny, imagine standing on top of a washing machine, I’m not exaggerating, it was that small, has to shower with the doors open

Lovely room and friendly staff.

We arrived early morning and check in was not till 3pm and we was greeted by the lovely friendly reception lady who let us go to our room early which was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh. Loved the high ceiling and big windows. Everything was all new and it was just lovely.
The hotel was also in a really nice area, lots of shops and restaurants near by and only 7 min walk from Earl’s Court underground.

Stayed here for my 2 nights I was in London. Definitely are a LOT of stairs if you're anywhere above the 1st floor. If you have heavy luggage, the second floor seems so far away. No lift, so just be prepared to climb. Not an issue without luggage, but with luggage it was a struggle.

Once upstairs, my room was very large and spacious. The bed was fine for a few nights of sleep. The bathroom was small (like all of European bathrooms) but the shower had plenty of space and it all did what was expected. It all seemed mostly clean, there were a few hairs in pretty sure weren't mine, but that wasn't a big deal, they were in random places in the bathroom.

The windows opened up nicely to let in air and there was also a nice stand alone fan that helped, as I was there in the middle of a heat wave.

It is located in a GREAT place near the Earls Court Tube entrance! So convenient. I stayed here so it was easy to get into the city, but also the day I was leaving, it was easy to get to the airport.

I would stay here again. I felt it served what I needed.

There was construction happening, so that was a little annoying, as they turned off the water when I wanted to shower and had to wait 10 minutes to take a shower when I was already standing in the shower and no water had come out 😅 but again, my room seemed updated and the front desk staff were friendly.

The hotel is nice and clean even though a little dated. Most of the furniture was well worn and the bathroom can do with a face lift.
Apart from that, it is nice and local to the busy Earl’s Court area and on a minutes walk to the tube.
Staff were nice and friendly and always available if needed.
Will definitely stay here again.

I love the old world charm of this hotel and its quirky & narrow stairwell leading into our basement unit. I wish they didn’t leave unopened boxes of construction materials or maybe they were furniture in the hallway. The hallway is already very narrow, which is understandable since this is an old building, but having stuff left in the hallway made it even tighter. But we didn’t complain coz perhaps they didn’t have any other place to put them?
The 2-bed/ 4-person occupancy basement room was very nice, bright and big. There was no moldy smell with the nice wood floor and updated decent sized bathroom/toilet. Be aware that there is no fridge or microwave in this quad room. However there is a decent sized kettle with coffee supplies.
The street where it is located is quite loud especially at night when everyone is trying to sleep. And again, it’s not the hotel’s fault that this street is where all the “Uber-eats” type motorcycle riders hang-out in between deliveries. And some of them are not quiet at night, sometimes you hear yelling like they’re about to break into a fight. And you could smell when somebody is smoking weed outside. I don’t know if it’s any better in the higher floors, but in the basement we heard and smelled everything! So if you’re a light sleeper and by yourself, do not take a basement room. It helped that as a family of four with my husband being there, I still felt safe. But I probably wouldn’t feel safe if I came by myself or just me and the kids.

The room was inadequately soundproofed from the one next door. A couple could be heard talking literally all night long from the behind the partition.

I tried to use the online check-in but, despite registering myself as British, I was asked to upload photos of identity documents. I therefore abandoned the online check-in.

When I arrived at the hotel at around 11pm, with my young child following a concert, the person who checked us in was utterly charmless and very brusque. I don’t think he smiled once. Even taking into account the language / cultural barrier, and the fact I may have been dealing with a night porter, it was - very brusque and rude check-in. He was insistent that I provided identity documents. When I asked whether this really applied to British nationals he grunted very firmly in the affirmative.

When my partner and I arrived, our sheets looked like they had been slept in already. There were hairs and stains on the sheets that were obviously new. Staff was understanding and provided (only half of) of a set new sheets, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. The showers in the small double rooms are also very very small, my partner had to lean out of the door to even attempt to shower. Do not go for this room if you are not a very petite person.The rooms are dated like other reviews have mentioned, but normally I would consider that charming. The tv was hung crooked and did not work well.

I booked a prepay only room for a week. When booking I asked for a first floor room as I knew there was no elevator and I have a bad knee that makes it difficult to climb many stairs. I was told there were no rooms
Available on ground floor but there were on the first. I paid. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms “in my category” on the first floor and I’d have to go up to second floor. I had two suitcases and they did not offer to help nor did they offer a different room. Forty four steps to ground every time I left and forty four back to my room when I returned. The stairs are tilted to the side. We used our level and they were 10 degree tilt on second set of stairs. The beds were old and extremely hard. You know when you see the mattress with blue and white pin stripe that they are infirmary type mattresses. We had to use the duvet blanket as a mattress topper and the bed scarf as a blanket. The windows seemed to be original and did not close completely. There was wind coming through the gaps. This was compounded by the fact the heater did not work in our room. The desk clerk brought a portable heater that had bent wheels and the heating element touched the carpet. We wouldn’t use it at night for fear of melting the carpet or worse. We could hear the neighboring rooms inhabitants talking. Nothing understandable, but noise nonetheless when it was time for sleeping. There are many better choices than this in Earls Court.

We loved our charming room. It was spacious and had a lot of natural light. At first I was concerned that it was in the basement but with the high ceilings and tall windows it felt open and airy. The bathroom was a good size and we loved that it had some universal plugs. The room service was outstanding with clean towels and stocked up cookies. We stayed 6 days. The front desk was staffed 24 hours and they made us feel very welcome! You can't beat the location either. The tube is just around the corner past a local supermarket and McDonald's. We will definitly be back!

This hotel is in a great location, very close to Earls court tube station. We were in a twin room, the mattresses were very uncomfortable but other that that we had a pleasant stay. Staff were all friendly. They topped up the tea and coffee supplies. Shower was good pressure.

The location was incredible a block from the underground. That was the best part! The room was simple and clean and quiet. The front desk staff was lovely. The only down side was the bathroom was tiny. Think airplane lavatory tiny. The shower was 24”x24”. Very easy to get claustrophobic. It did the job but it was tiny.

Would return!

The place is perfect for a few days' stay. Excellent spot in the city: Earl''s Court station is just around the corner, so it's easy to reach all the destinations. It's very silent at night which is a big plus.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming!

To expensive for what it is.

We paid more to stay at the Rushmore in London which at best is a 1-star hotel than we paid for a luxury hotel in Dublin that included breakfast and free shuttle service to the airport. Very small rooms for three people. Shower was also very small.
