I love the Central location of the hotel with so many transport options, just 3 mins from Earls Court.The check in was smooth and informative, the single room was warm clean and comfortable.The shower was hot and worked well. It is very good value for money without losing out on quality. I was only there for 2 nights so didnt get to use the residents lounge with tea & coffee but it seems a great idea. I would certainly return.

Hotel was very close to Earls Court Tube, on a quiet road. It is a reasonable hotel for this part of London although a little tired in its decoration. The rooms were small - again normal for London at this price - but clean and the bathroom was spotless with a good shower. The lady on reception couldn't have been more helpful and deserves 5 stars! Will definitely stay there again.

The young lady checked us in was great! Younger girl came on duty after wasn’t pleasant! We asked for washcloths she said they were put in your room cause they checked! We asked next morning the girl from first day said they don’t supply washcloths and if we wanted we would have to go elsewhere and purchase them! I thought maybe was their culture but found out it wasn’t! Not sure why any hotel will not supply? Also night clerk our key button messed up asked the older gentleman if could be fixed he said I don’t know wasn’t friendly at all so once again asked the young lady next morning she took care of the issue but says he is nice( we didn’t see that) only 2 things about hotel we liked was location. And the one young lady! Would appreciate to know why a hotel will not supply washcloths?

This is probably the 5th or the 6th time I'm staying at London Town Hotel. Love its proximity to Earl's Court Station. It's in a relatively quiet part of town but not too far from Central London. The Piccadilly line is also connected to Heathrow. Lots of good restaurants around as well.

Not \"the Ritz\"... and not Ritz prices. No \"public rooms\", but I only wanted a nice room, comfortable bed, clean sheets, towels, good shower... and friendly, efficient staff... and got all of that. For less than I would have paid anywhere else on offer. Nice neighborhood, 180 meters easy walk to Earl's Court tube.. but you'd never guess you were that close... in a side street. (Equally close to either end of Earl's Court... just be sure you know which way to turn! Depends on which exit you use from Tube station. Turn right and right again if you come out of EAST end.)

What a find! LTH provides a clean, efficient room at a steal. While the rooms are small, when traveling all you want is a place to shower and sleep. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, not more than a 2 minute walk from a convenient underground station (that has a lift and ramps for your luggage), the staff is polite and helpful and the rooms are clean, the mattresses are firm and the bathrooms are newly updated. Earl’s Court station is an easy commute to Heathrow and to all of London’s historic sites.

Clean basic room

This is a very basic hotel which comes with a corrisponding low rate. I was given in a solo room in the basement which had a window that opened to the back court. The room location would normally not be ideal, but because there is no AC or fan, it was probably better during the summer because it would cooler than the upstairs rooms. The room was very clean and the twin bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but modern with plenty of hot water. They do have breakfast for an extra fee, I didn't use it because I preferred to go to nearby cafes. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance which is a plus. I would only recommend staying here, however if you only want a basic place to sleep with no maid service. If you stay here in the summer you risk being uncomfortable if there is a heat wave.

Ideal for a short break

This hotel is clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, with someone available 24 hours. It is perfectly situated a few minutes' walk from Earls' Court station. I took the 'room only' option, so can't comment on the breakfast. Tea and coffee was available, though in the lounge, rather than in your own room.

The precautions taken around Covid made it feel safe to stay here.

For my weekend break meeting friends and exploring London together, this offered an excellent base.

The London Town Hotel is exactly what it bills itself to be: a well placed, clean, moderate in amenities, place to sleep and bathe while you're in London. Great staff, good service, clean, comfortable, and in good condition. That's what I expected, and that's what we got. Being just 200 or so meters from the Earls Court underground station, and about the same from a wealth of pubs, local shops, pharmacy, etc, made it nearly ideal for a \"home base\" to explore London from. I'd happily stay there again.

This property is well situated and the staff was friendly. The room was clean enough but curtains were dirty and there were a few stains on the throw on top of the bed. Simple breakfast but the area was clean. I got a noisy neighbour above me but there isn’t much one can do about that. The road right outside was under construction and therefore super loud but I didn’t spend much time in the hotel.

This hotel is literally around the corner from the Earl's Court tube station. It was so easy to get around London from the hotel because of the proximity to the station. The room (single room) was spacious enough for one person with two weeks worth of luggage! The bathroom was small, but nicely maintained. The room had a street view on the 5th floor and the weather was cool, so I slept with the window open since I was higher up. There are room darkening curtains so you can have it as dark or light as you wish. The bed and pillows? Wow! More comfortable than I expected! Fluffy mattress, comforter, and pillows, just like home! This was the most comfortable bed I encountered during my 2 weeks in Europe! Breakfast was good, but I almost missed it because I didn't realize that it was ending promptly at 9:30am. I got to the breakfast room at 9:20 but I was able to get served and move up to the lounge to finish as they were getting ready to clean the breakfast area. The sitting room/lounge is a nice touch with books to read just in case you didn't bring any on your trip. It was a short stay (2 nights) but it was an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again.

Great location & comfort - older style hotel

The location around the corner from Earls Court underground was so good.
It’s an older looking place which looks like it was renovated 5 years ago but is still looking fresh. It has a lift which takes you to level 4 but we were on 6 so had to carry the luggage up.
Reception were courteous and always helpful.

Bedding was sensational - mattress was so comfortable and they had a range of pillows.

No a/c which would be an issue in summer. The on-wall heating meant that the room got quite hot so at times we needed to open the window.

WIFI was a bit of hit and miss. The had multiple access points to cover the different levels - ok for browsing, but not great for Skype calls.

Breakfast was basic but well priced if taken up in the hotel. The breakfast option whilst booking online was triple the price.

Plenty of convenience stores, pubs close by. Quiet street at night, no traffic or people noises at night.

We would highly recommend it on the basis of location, comfort and value recognising that it is a renovated older looking budget type of hotel.

The London Town Hotel is in the busy area of Earls Court, very close to the Underground and numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was wonderful, the accommodations were great even though we spent 98% of our time sightseeing! This is a very nice property with a lounge and breakfast available. We absolutely loved our visit.

This hotel is very small and tight space. We booked the room that has 2 floors accommodate 4 people. This become a nightmare for us. The pictures look nice. But they did not tell you that the 2nd foor is only 5 ft height. My son has to bend down and crawl to the bed. He hit his head several times as he cannot even stand-up straight. Also, all 4 of us have 1 piece of luggage. There is not even enough space in the room to lay 4 all luggages on the floor. Also very important to note that hotel has no AC, all they give us are 2 tiny fans. Everyone was wet when we got up. No one has any good sleep.

I will definitely stay in this hotel again when in London. Just a short walk around the corner from the Earls Court Rd exit from underground. Clean room, not huge but great for the price and location. M&S foodstore, Pauls' French cafe, Boots the pharmacy, banks, pubs, easy access to most tourist destinations without changing tube - walk to Kensington. Great choice for a reasonably priced short stay hotel.

Rooms themselves are pretty small and minimal - so don't expect a ton of amenities. But, location is fabulous (easy to get to both Heathrow and center of the city) and staff is super friendly and very accommodating! Included breakfast and free wifi were also definitely appreciated. It was a great place to stay for our family of 4, for a couple of nights, as we were using London as a gateway for other European cities to visit.

Great location to the tube, a 5 minutes walk.
Great location for food including supermarket and restaurants.
Breakfast provided which is a perk but is basic and the same each day.
Reception staff good.
Ok cable TV.

Cons:
Rooms are small but this typical of London.
No AC, which is also typical of London. The days i were there were warmer than normal, I would have appreciated a fan in my room if it was available.
Walls are thin, I heard my neighbors and the doors all the time.
Rooms need to be refreshed.
Bed is ok but pillows are soft.
Though a non-smoking building, smokers were outside and blew smoke into my room and the breakfast area.

Easy to check in and staff was very friendly. The room was a little tight, it was pretty small, but compared to the cost of other hotel rooms in the area, we made it work. The bathroom was pretty hard to navigate being so small. The shower was extremely small, claustrophobic even, no way you could even get 2 people in there. Other than that, the bed was comfy, and they changed our sheets multiple times. Nice, large lounge area.

The room was small for the price. I'm not a fan of the carpeting . Location was good tho . Lots of restos nearby . Plenty coffee shops . M&S food hall . You won't go hungry . We were there just for 2 nights so it's ok for sleeping to just get rid of jet lag .

The hotel was in a very good location to where I wanted to go. The reception was very good. That is about all. The breakfast was not out of the norm and was a bit surprised of the 2 slices of brown toast was a bit warm and was already prepared before . The coffee was warm but I have to say the orange juice was very good. The boiled eggs were O.K. but the choice of ham and cheese you had no choice. The room for a double was very small and if 2 persons were to use would be a bit difficult to move around and hang up your cloths. I could not close the curtain for night and woke up to daylight. No coffee or tea in the room and had to go up to the 2nd floor to watch T.V. and make my coffee and tea. I would say was good for one night for a quick stay but that was about all.

I'd stay here again

I was traveling alone in London and wanted to stay close to the Piccadilly line for quickest access back to Heathrow. I booked this hotel not expecting a lot, and I was pleasantly surprised. There was always someone at the front desk, and they were friendly but not in your face obnoxious. When I arrived, there were no issues with check in. I asked if there as AC in the room, and when I made a face after being told that there was no AC, the gentleman was quick to offer me a portable fan. He promptly brought it to my room, and it was a blessing to have.

My room itself was very clean - the bathroom was surprisingly roomy and functional (there was a shelf in the shower, good water pressure, a shelf above the sink (which was decently sized). And a fan turned on with the lights. The sheets were crisp and clean, and my only gripe about the bed was that I think they used a plastic sort of mattress cover, which made me wake up semi-drenched in sweat every morning. Despite the lack of AC, my room faced away from the afternoon sun, and keeping the window open at night plus the fan they provided helped keep the room temp good.

Overall, it's a no frills place to stay, but the WiFi is good and reliable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, and it was clean and provided me a place to sleep/shower. All I really needed. I'd stay here again.

Oh, the breakfast quality was subpar, and I only utilized that service one morning.

Went for a business trip and found the hotel in a perfect location, close to the Tube. Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was small but clean and comfortable. I stayed for three nights. The location is safe with plenty of good places to eat.

Just what you need in London.

When in London I spend very little time in the hotel. Somewhere to sleep. En suite was good and kept clean. Only thing I would have like to see was a chest of drawers. I was there for two weeks and used the closet provided and the rest lived out of my suitcase. Continental breakfast was fine. Overall, I was satisfied and would stay there again if the price is right like it was this time.

Wonderful location, near tube station, lots of local restaurants and stores. Had the small single room, it meet all my needs for my trip to London.

Single room could be very limited in space. But still it has all the essentials, a single bed, a desk, a chair, a small tv, and private bath. It offers free continental breakfast and fast free wifi. It is very close to the underground station, making going to airport super easy. The nearby area has a lot to offer: restaurants and close to several museums and parks.

Value for money

I've stayed at six different hotels during my last 3 visits to London, and this one by far is the best. Even though the room was for a single person it never felt cramped. The room was spacious and had all amenities including a fan in the event that the room got balmy. The staff is extremely friendly and the room was cleaned on a daily basis. Location-wise, it wouldn't be more perfect. It is a stones-throw distance from Earl's Court Station which serves the District and Piccadilly lines that connect Earl's court to Central London. The neighbourhood is extremely safe and has some wonderful eateries as well. Internet was spotty in my room but this is the place where there is room for improvement. All in all, I would return to London Town Hotel during my future visits to London. I hope they keep up the good work.

Perfect for the price and location

I stayed 4 nights in the London Town Hotel and was very pleased overall with my stay.

I was in a single room, which wasn't very spacious, but travelling solo it was all the space that I really needed. The room had a television with satellite/cable, a desk, and plenty of power outlets spread throughout. The bathroom was quite nice with a full sized walk-in shower, along with a sink/mirror combo. There was a stand up cabinet for me to hang clothes in, but no drawers unfortunately (which may be a factor for longer stays). WiFi service was exceptional.

I was very impressed with the desk staff at their courteous behavior. You check your key in each time you leave, so you will be doing a lot of interacting with them anytime you go and then come back. They were always available to hand me my key back and were extremely polite about it every single time.

The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, which to be honest I did not partake in after just looking through. But there was coffee available, as well as coffee and tea available 24 hours in a lounge they have, which also includes comfortable seating arrangements perfect for a read.

The walls were thin, but that's to be expected I suppose in a modified building. The location is EXCELLENT, just a brisk walk away from food, pubs, and a major underground station in Earl's Court. I received very good service and value for my stay.

Great value and location

The London Town Hotel is ideally located just around the corner from the Earl's Court tube station, which is serviced by three good tube lines (District, Circle, and Piccadilly). The trip in to central London takes only about 15-20 minutes, depending on congestion. The hotel is not terribly fancy, but it is clean, well-maintained, and provides excellent value for money. Breakfast is included and is more than sufficient (and they have great coffee!). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, would stay there again.
