Great location! Easy quick walk to Earls Ct. Underground and a bus stop is also close to the hotel. Room decor was a bit dated- it is planned for renovation soon though. Staff were helpful ,friendly and it was very clean. Kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, milk, paper towels, dishwasher and laundry soap. Also, dishes/glasses and some pans/utensils.
This is a VERY old building, the elevator is tiny and old (you close and open the door and gate yourself). It’s quirky. If someone does not close it on the 3rd floor it’s stuck there. So you have to walk up the stairs and check each floor to see where it stopped. You can then get on and take it to your floor or just close it so it will work for others. The staff are very kind and offered to try and find out where it was stuck ( this happened to us twice), but we just took the stairs. The hallways are a bit broken up with doors and steps up and down. We had to go to the 5th floor then go through a few hallways and get to a back stairway and take that down one flight to our fourth floor room. We personally thought it was a fun unique experience, but if you have ANY physical limitations or if you bring huge heavy suitcases on vacation you need to make sure your room/ floor will work. It is not a very accessible building at all! I really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it for the right people. If you are looking for fancy, this is not it! If you are looking for a great location, clean rooms, nice staff, this is perfect!

Very clean and it has everything you would need. Nice set of kitchen ware and we love the big fridge as well as the full-size dishwasher. The laundry machine is small but has a very good dryer as well.
As for the windows, it could be updated as strong wind slid the window down slightly and got cold in the middle of the night. Very nice overall.

As always, No 1 The Mansions by Mansley was amazing! We choose No 1 The Mansions whenever we are in London and we are always so happy with our stay. First of all…Aparthotel is definitely the way to go with families. But the Mansley was above and beyond. We walked into friendly, helpful staff, easy check in process and then an apartment that took our breath away. May I highly recommend apartment 2A? I will forever come back to London and stay here. We were so comfortable with all the modern touches and the location was top notch.

Apartment was great, not too loud even though next to a street. Only a 5 minute walk to Earls Court Tube station. Easy to find, staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of things on the doorstop although there were already plenty of amenities included in the stay. We would definitely stay again, thanks for a great place to call home for the weekend!

Highly recommended! When communicating with the staff prior to arrival and during our stay they replied really quick. They were very accommodating and the apartment was very clean. I felt safe in the area. There’s a convenience store and a few restaurants across the street that were open until 3 & 4am.
Elena gave us a walkthrough of the apartment and answered all questions we may have had.

Wonderful and well appointed property. On-site staff terrific and so helpful to resolve issues. As we were on the 5th floor and there was no air conditioning (I didn’t realize this), it was quite miserably hot. Also, there was significant noise from upstairs guests, but other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Clean accommodation, modern bathrooms, very nice for a family stay.

The on site property managers were awesome and even got us into the property a little early. This was a wonderful location and really close to the Earl Street station. Impressed and grateful once again!!! No 1 The Mansions is perfect for our large family when we are in London! Spacious, modern, but charmingly British we are happy every time we stay. We even received an upgraded/larger apartment on this visit!! Thank you Mansions!!! And so easy to get here!! Just a five minute walk from Earl’s Court station after taking the Piccadilly from Heathrow. They have a 24 hour front desk and complimentary luggage storage which are huge advantages for us when we have later flights. We love this place and will keep returning!

The apartment hotel in Earls Court is a 3-minute walk to the underground. Pleasant and quiet environment. The staff is kind and ready to help with anything you ask. Recommended

Great location to visit London. The place was clean and had a nice old building charm. The walls are kind of thin but for the most part the apartments next to us was very quiet. The apartment had dishwasher and a washer dryer combo. Definitely will stay here again for our next London vacation.

My wife and two teens had an amazing 3 night stay at the Mansfield. We were upgraded from 2 BR to BR suite, including huge TV and dining rooms! The arrival is a very convenient 3 minute walk from Earls Court Tube station, which is direct from Heathrow. The location was also just a 10 minute walk to our hop on hop off bus tour and day trip tour to Oxford. When we return to London I will definitely look to stay here again, even without the upgrade.

The check-in via the App requires excessive information (we are UK residents, so why did we need to provide passport details?!).
When arriving at the building, the (new) App didn't work after many attempts, so I couldn't download the key to access the building.
Pros:
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
The apt was well appointed and comfortable.
Cons:
There is no TV in bedroom (NB living room TV is Wi-Fi and didn't work anyway - picture kept freezing).
No creamer for coffee.
Both toilets wouldn't flush.
Small and quite dated elevator.

Roomy elegant apartment perfect for family

We rented a 3bd 2ba for 2 couples plus one person and there was plenty room for us with big bedrooms large kitchen and living room that had a large dining table.The ensuite bathroom was tiny and the shared bathroom was normal size. The TV worked great and we watched Netflix. It was such a nice elegant retreat to return to after long days of sightseeing. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. You can't beat the location of being close to Earls Court station. We were able to take the tube to Heathrow airport with no problems. You can get anywhere in London from there. Also there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Here is why I docked a star-I specifically chose this place bc it had a washer & dryer. I can't stand the combo washer/dryers in Europe bc they take forever to dry clothes and they end up frying your clothes. I was so disappointed bc the dryer didn't work. I sent my husband down to tell them and he said it was not hooked up for whatever reason. I had my clothes drying for 4 hours and gave up. I ended hanging them all on the drying racks which was truly annoying. The next day we woke up to NO hot water. We had to get going to sightsee (it was around 10am) and all of us had to take COLD showers! Also before we arrived I couldn't figure out best way to communicate and some of my inquiries weren't answered. There was always someone in the office to help us once we were there. All else was great and I wished we could have stayed longer.

the apartment was large and well appointed with fancy wedgewood plates and cups and a washer dryer and good sized kitchen. Bathroom was also well appointed. There was a generous amount of storage space in all rooms and outlets were also plentiful. We had a great space as we had a huge balcony spanning the living room with sofa bed, and the bedroom. The only problem was the 15 steps from the 5th floor elevator ro this apartment which we didnt know about and would have not booked had we known about the steps.

The photos don’t match the room. There is no Airconditioner and the room is hot. No fresh air enters the apartment. The wifi drops out. The apartment is on an extremely busy road. The area is quite good although a bit scummier than the areas nearer Kensington. Public transport is good. London is expensive so I am not totally sure but it didn’t seem like good value.

Basic, fit for purpose, if no issues; location is convenient if you are ok with the tube for 30 minutes if sightseeing or shopping, and it’s nice to have a washer.

Reception staff were attentive and attempted to fix many housekeeping issues but we went without enough towels the first night and no proper bedding for 2 out of 4 nights so I had only a bottom sheet while my daughter used the duvet as a bottom sheet since housekeeping perhaps did not read notes that reception office left for them. For the 3rd night we finally got a sheet and duvet because the office brought them up, but then we were back to fewer towels than guests.

Nothing was wiped down when housekeeping came and we found food packages when folding out the sofa. Most windows didn’t open and there was only one fan for 3 sleeping rooms during a heat wave and we couldn’t sleep and were really uncomfortable. One window that did open was to a shared space and it didn’t lock - very unsafe.

There was no attempt to compensate in any way after not resolving requests for bedding/having to go to reception repeatedly to pick up towels. If there had been, I may have thought these events were out of the norm and considered returning.

Looking back, I should have spent the same on a hotel.

The unit was recently refinished and looked brand new. The couch was old, but that was the only issue I had. Wish they had A/C, but fortunately it wasn't that hot, and they do provide fans if needed. Location isn't close for sightseeing, but you can get there quickly on the tube that is close by. If returning, I would book again.

As a group of six, we were delighted to find that No. 1 The Mansions offered ample space for our family. The apartment was perfect for spending quality time together while still enjoying our own privacy. The location was unbeatable, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and restaurants.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the beautiful back garden was a lovely bonus. The daily housekeeping was exceptional, ensuring our apartment was always clean and tidy. While the room could benefit from some updates, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

Needs TLC and repairs, but great location

This apartment/ hotel is a good choice for a family stay- central to the London attractions and walkable to fantastic restaurants, snack shops, a pharmacy and kid friendly fast food. Management is friendly and courteous but they have the line down pat: “our elevator JUST went out and it should be fixed tomorrow.” After reading about the elevator/ “lift” issues in reviews, I thought that by now it would have been fixed. Fortunately, we are a healthy family that could climb the five flights to the apartment with our suitcases. This property is NOT ADA accessible nor appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. The term “luxury” is used loosely for this property. It’s a lovely old building in a beautiful part of town, but the carpet is dirty and the floor in our bathroom was peeling up. Paint was chipped off the walls and floorboards. The pluses: great kitchen with coffee, tea and most thankfully, a small container of milk for our kids. Loved the washer/dryer in unit. Great to have two rooms and a living area- space was fabulous for the four of us. With some TLC and repairs, this property could truly be the gem it aspires to be.

Great location for our stay in London. It is an easy walk to earls court station giving you access to wherever you need to be, but allows you to return to a quieter more cozy feeling neighborhood.
There were 6 of us getting together for the London marathon, the rooms were perfect amount of space to accommodate everyone while also giving us places to be together as well. Kitchen area was exactly what we needed, as we shopped at the wonderful grocery store across the sheet and prepared a meal inside one evening.

We had a bath drain clog when we checked in, and they had it fixed next day after we reported. The location of this property is awesome, and it could be a bit noisy with traffic. The bathroom is very small and our apartment is a bit of dated. I was disappointed as what we booked an apartment with two beds in the second bedroom on Expedia, however, there was only one bed in the second bedroom. I was not sure what caused the discrepancy between what we booked on Expedia and what we were offered. Anyway, as we only had 3 people, that was not a big deal.

The garden was gorgeous too. We are very grateful and floored by how much of a bang for our buck it was.

The building and area around it have some construction going so bring some ear plugs if that’s an issue for you.

Walkable to earls court and brompton tube station a bus stop nearby. Grocery and restaurants in the area. Really loved out experience.

We had a studio-with-Murphy-bed-and-kitchen. Bathroom and kitchen were gleaming and well-equipped - dishwasher! - washer/dryer! - both worked! The main room, though, was slightly tired, with a wood-laminate floor and no rugs. (Of course; the Murphy bed would have killed a carpet.) This was a bit uncomfortable. And there was noise from the room above - also without carpet? Early one morning, we were awakened by a STRONG smell of garlic cooking, no idea where it came from. Then, minutes later, the building smoke detector went off. An employee walking the halls said, \"Oh, that's not you,\" and simply walked away. Building has an old manually-operated elevator, and if the previous user didn't close the gate, it wouldn't work....we had to walk up four floors a couple of times. Definitely not the worst place I've ever stayed, but not the most comfortable.

I didn’t stay in the room. The lift was broken and I was on the 6th floor. The room was quite dated although the bathroom and kitchen had been updated recently. The bed quality was poor and the furniture was pretty creepy. I booked a holiday inn express hotel 2 stops down and ate the non refundable cost of this room instead of letting my family trip be ruined. The staff I did interact with were nice.

The location of the hotel was great. However, the 5th floor was very hot with no AC and no fans. Something to consider if you're visiting during the summer. The bathroom and kitchen were newly remodeled but the rest of the hotel was old and dated.

With a family of 5, it is difficult to find a place to stay to accommodate. This was a cute and quaint place to stay, and the service was superb. We flew in overnight and the staff went out of their way to let us into our room early, so we could all get some rest. The downside however, is that our specific apartment was in need of renovations and was miserably hot. We opened the windows to try and get some relief, but there were no screens so we had flies everywhere. Walking distance to the bus tours wasn't bad, but it did seem a bit out of the way of most local attractions. I probably wouldn't choose to stay here again, unless our rooms had been renovated and air conditioned, but again the staff was top notch.

Great property, quick walking distance to the underground and a grocery store. Apartment had everything we needed. Our only complaint was that we did have to ask a few times for the hot water heater to get turned back on when it mysteriously was shut off.
