There was a very nice person at the front desk for check in and who also helped to try and find the heater switch.
Room was so very small and the bed placed right by the wall and window. Could not tuck in the duvet and it kept falling off.
Radiator not accessible, staff tried to help but fortunately it got warmer so did not need it the second day.
Underground station is very close and there is a wide diverse variety of restaurants close to the hotel
Can hear the underground trains from the room, but not too bothersome. Creaky stairs outside my room
I think too expensive for this size room and I am sure the larger rooms are more comfortable

Don’t waste your money….too many better options. Stayed for 2 nights…. The front desk staff was not friendly but Alexandra was especially unpleasant. We were supposed to get two bottles of water in the room and didn’t. When we asked about it….Alexandra was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do about it. TV didn’t work and she said there was nothing she could do about it. Rooms were very small. On the positive side, the hotel was cheap, located a block away from Earls court tube stop, and room was clean. I guess you get what you pay for….if you like rude front desk staff then this is the place for you!

The hotel was clean and the location was very good, close to underground, shops and restorants.
I am not happy of the room we got as I have paid for Double superior room and the person form the hotel gave me a standard double. The excuse was that there isn't another bigger room, as other people did the check in earlier. The check in was starting from 2pm and we did the check in at 2ish pm. Basically they gave our room to someone else and then we ended in a standard room. The person didn't really care about the situation. I wasn't happy of this service.
But the hotel is good and it is great value for the money.

Clean hotel with easy access to the tube and everything around London had a lovely stay.
Only down side was the breakfast and the fact the lift wasn’t working so we had to carry our suitcase up 5 flights of stairs. Also decor abit dated.

The hotel put us in a basement room crammed very small with low ceiling, my son and partner are both 6 ft tall, air conditioning very old and loud, and damp with blown walls.
Transferred to new room with an unclean bath. Pubic hair found on floor and bath.
No pillow liners.
Air con again old couldn’t have it on it was too loud so room was hot and stuffy.
Staff were very sombre and uninviting.
We complained to the front desk about the air con and was met with a near aggressive response. Not their problem get on with it attitude.
Generally the hotel looked old , tired and dated. So were the staff.
Personally it was awful it was not an enjoyable experience. Did not have a good sleep.
I would like to request a full refund.
£136 for one night in a place like that is extortionate.
I will not recommend this hotel.
On leaving I asked for a complaint form and was told they did not have any not good practice.
I hope that you look into this further.
I have booked many a wonderful holiday and breaks with Expedia and was quite shocked you would have this hotel on your site. The hotel advertising is very misleading, and it doesn’t say that trains will start running from 5.00am right passed your bedroom.

The room given had a flight of about 10 to steps down as you open the door to the room. Not ideal if you have luggage. Bathroom was moldy and wouldn't drain, and hair was floating out of the drain.

Breakfast was horrible. It was billed as a complete breakfast and all that was available was dripped coffee, hard boiled eggs some defrosted pastries and augar loaded cereals. I stayed here 4x before and somethings have drastically changed for the worse. Not the same amenities. I felt bad for the front desk staff as they seemed to be dealing with a great deal of complaints.

U fortunately the air was not working and we were on the 4th floor. They did supply a fan upon request but nothing ever communicated about whether it would be fixed or what they could do. The room and bathroom were very nice so we stuck it out. Sleeping was rough

The hotel is very conveniently located very close the the underground station. The room was small but sufficient and I have to say very clean. However, my room was in the basement huge air vents in front of the window and no natural light whatsoever 😞. The bed was about hip high and I had to swing myself in and out of it. I also had breakfast included but you only could order from a menu with 3 items on it and none had anything to do with breakfast foods ( so weird). The underground train seems to run right under the hotel and since I was in the basement I could hear the trains running under me ever few minutes. I came to the hotel only to sleep so I probably would stay there again simply because it's so conveniently located, the area seems safe and it is clean.

I stayed for 3 nights in June the hotel is well located especially for The Royal Albert Hall and Museums. I read the reviews and they seemed to have some petty comments, I was glad to ignore them !! OK the room is small but its London and there is so much to do I doubt people spend much time in their rooms. I felt secure in both the hotel and the area, which has great amenities. I would return if I were visiting the area again. Thanks

Nice hotel. Tiny tiny rooms. Had a bath and a shower. Bath plug didnt actually work as it slowly let the water out. Disappointed on that part.
Staff are helpful.
Lift needs the lights on the buttons redone as they dont light up unless you hit them in the right spot.
Didnt try breakfast.
Hotel is right next to tracks, which i didnt know when booking.
Would i go back? Probably not

During our recent stay at Dreamtel, we experienced a mix of positives and negatives that are worth sharing.

Firstly, the room itself was big enough for us and clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. We were also treated to a lovely view, which added to our overall enjoyment. The hotel’s location is good, conveniently situated. Really close walk to Earls Court station.

However, the breakfast was a letdown. It was only highlighted on the day that the restaurant was not open and needed repairs, so only room service was available. The food was cold and overly greasy, which did not make for a pleasant start to our day. Additionally, we encountered a significant issue during the night when our radiator began making an extremely loud noise, abruptly waking us up. It was disruptive enough that we had to call a staff member to come and fix it in the middle of the night.

While the night staff was responsive and resolved the radiator issue, the incident did detract from our overall experience. The day staff were okay but seemed extremely unbothered by any issues we had. With some improvements in the breakfast service and maintenance, Dreamtel has the potential to provide a much more enjoyable stay.

Booked hotel for 1 night stay as i need to attend an event and been allocated the room in 4th floor and its nice... Except the shower, its broken and only supplies hot water. Called receptionist and he gave another one in 5th floor, same issue with broken shower handles.... Finally, got room in 1st floor, however, for the price I paid it should be with bath tub and this one has very small shower entrail. Didn't bother too much to change. So, adjusted myself.

Perfect for no-frills solo travel

I was traveling solo visiting family and stayed for three days in maybe the smallest room I have ever seen. I mean, super tiny. But it was very clean and comfortable, and very inexpensive for London. The neighborhood is perfect - safe for a woman traveling alone - and close to the tube. I traveled for a few days and came back to London, staying again at Dreamtel. The second room, though still small, was much bigger than the first and very comfy. Oh - one thing: the lift is tiny and very very slow. If you absolutely need a lift, maybe this isn't your place. But it always worked when I needed it. If you are looking for fancy or to entertain people in your room, this is not the place. But for the price and location, and the incredibly accomodating and friendly staff, it was perfect for me.

Needed a room for one night whilst attending an event at the Royal Albert Hall. Found this hotel through Hotels.com for less than £100 for the night.
The location was perfect, 2 minute walk from Earls Court tube station and a 20 minute walk from the Albert Hall.
The room is very compact but clean and adequately equipped for a short stay, especially as we spent very little time in the room at her than to sleep.
If you’re looking for a competitively priced hotel for a short stay then you can’t go far wrong with tje Dreamtel

Staff not paying attention to computer system: 2pm late check out agreed and paid for. staff opening room door at 10.50am without knocking, reception phoning at 11.10am, staff entering again without knocking at 12.30pm. Informed manager who was rude and argumentative - terrible customer service.

tiny rooms. showerhead wouldn't stay up - had to tie it myself. staff don't pay attention to computer system - paid for 2pm late check out but was disturbed by housekeeping at 10.50am, reception called at 11.10am (did confirm late check out was on system!) and housekeeping back again an hour after that. Terrible customer service - spoke to manager about disturbances who was rude, disinterested and argumentative.

Where do I start? The room had a musty odour, and the condition of the room overall was poor. Damage the fittings from years of use and abuse was obvious down to the screws in the door to retain the glass. The shower was in poor condition and many of the fittings broken and not functioning properly. The television didn't recieve any channels which required access to the channel apps just to watch something. The room was missing a fridge which had obviously been removed. The area was dirty with rubbish all along the street awaiting collection. The attitude of staff, when the defects in the room was brought to their attention was poor - they couldn't care less.
Avoid this place at all costs. It isn't worth the trouble.

Amazing staying in Earls Court . This hotel is located very close to the tube station of Earls Court , 5 minutes walking. I be booked a deluxe room , it was nice decorated with a kettle to prepare tea or coffee. The bed was very comfortable . Delicious English breakfast in the morning with a great selection of hot and cold food, thanks in particular to Julia who prepared for me the last day a special omelette . You can also walk until High Street Kensington or Gloucester Road

Checked in by a receptionist with an awful body odour issue- went to the room allocated to me to find a man in the bed sleeping- I had been allocated the wrong room was then given a room that was no bigger than a shoe box - it was claustrophobic and was dirty- - the bathroom was mouldy and the shower absolutely stank- the room was so noisy I hardly got any sleep- would not recommend this hotel ever

Upon entry to the hotel I knew we were in for a bad ride. The smell of damp hits you and the creaky stairs to the room had seen better days.
But we were only staying one night and I know London is expensive so kept an open mind.

Quickly realised our bedroom backed onto a railway track and then found pubic hairs in our bath - so I hate to think when the room was last cleaned. But again, it was late and we needed a bed so made the most of it.

In the morning breakfast was limited and cold - absolutely inedible. I went to reception and told them of all of the issues and was told no problem - we can issue you a refund.

MONTHS LATER and despite chasing twice, no refund has been issued.

Honestly avoid like the plague. I had to fork out £180 for a dirty noisy damp room with an inedible breakfast and lying management.
