Coffee is terrible, room was alright. They don’t clean it ever, and we stayed for four nights. Staff was unfriendly. Was not allowed to see the garden.

Bed bugs. I am leaving with bed bug bites on my hands and wouldn't be surprised if they spread. I stayed here for 3 days, arrived, and there was no fitted sheet, simply just a cushioned thing on the mattress, and I could see the bare mattress. It was disgusting, and the toilet seat was not even connected to the actual toilet base. Past 10PM, there was no one at the front desk, which I believe is a huge safety issue. There are no in-room phones, and my room didnt get cleaned once. Most hotels do daily cleanings, and I wouldn't be surprised if they barely cleaned between guests. While this hotel is aesthetic, it's disgusting and clearly unclean. Do not stay here.

Excellent breakfast, restaurant and overall hotel vibe is exquisite. The toilet is a bit off but very spacious the little partition thing doesn't really blocking water splash out from the shower the floor will be pretty wet but do dry very quickly.

The room was lovely and clean but some things especially in the bathroom were tired, toilet roll holder was hanging off, the lock on the bathroom door fell off and the painting behind the sink was flaking off.
The bed was lovely and clean and comfortable as was the seating area and kitchen. It was disappointing that we were only give 2 coffee pods for 2 of us and we were staying for 2 nights. We did however use the coffee shop downstairs which was lovely but you shouldn’t have to when you pay the price of the room.
The rest of the stay was great, it was quiet in a good location

Interesting place that suffers from a lack of identity and staff. Is it apartments or is it a hotel?
I really loved the style and decor of the place. Lots of cool lounge spaces and pretty rooms with a really nice corner sofa and a kitchenette. But these additions meant the double beds are really squeezed in. I bashed my shin on it several times.
2 lifts, one was broken and the other was slow and sounded like it was about to break.
Got to our room to find there was no toilet roll. Odd but even stranger was the receptions attitude to what was a clear problem. \"Oh well housekeeping has gone now\" - Implication being - \"Tough\" - Followed by rolled eyes and eventually they got some. My colleagues in other rooms had similar issues with this.
We were there almost a week. They don't clean your rooms unless you ask. Which rules out new towels too.
The really fun part was breakfast. They seemed genuinely surprised by the number of guests they had.
Day 1 I did get a breakfast but it took 35 mins to arrive by which time I was late and could only eat half of it. No cows milk and 4 types of alternative milk.
Day 2 - No alternative milk but cows milk. No cups. No markings on Coffee / Tea / Milk so it was literally pot luck. After placing my order they informed me 10 minutes later that they were no longer taking orders for breakfast and mine wouldn't come
Day 3 - Didn't try for breakfast
Day 4 to 6 - Arrived at breakfast at 7.30 - No further problems

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. We loved how the room was decorated, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable day. In particular, we found the kitchenette to be well appointed. The location was very convenient, only a few minutes walk from Earl’s Court tube station, and despite the hotel being located on a busy road, it was very quiet in the room so we could sleep. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I loved this hotel. 6 night stay in March. I was upgraded to a loft suite (thank you!). King bed powder room in upstairs bedroom. Kitchen, Nespresso machine. My place faced the street but was utterly quiet. Loved everything about it.
Only one suggestion. A reading light somewhere?
I've recommended and will, I hope, return.

Overall nice room, though found a stray toe nail clipping in each of our adjoining rooms. Sink faucet had lime buildup/rust, and drain plug broken. Would be nice to have a box of tissues available in the room. Staff were great, though. And rooms were otherwise comfortable.

This is a lovely hotel, very convenient for West London. The decor is colourful and unconventional, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has the bonus of a small restaurant, garden and a bar. I would definitely stay here again (and have).

We were unfortunately quite disappointed with our recent stay. We chose to upgrade our room and paid extra, so we were expecting a noticeably higher standard than what we experienced.

Upon arrival, the room did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. The table clearly needed a proper wipe, and when we pulled the bed slightly away from the wall, we found a woman’s top behind it, which we left in the room. This raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and attention to detail.

Additionally, one of the bedside lights was not working, and the headboard had visible marks on it. These issues made the room feel poorly maintained and not up to the standard we would expect — particularly given the additional amount we paid for the upgrade.

This is my second time staying here, and to be honest, if it wasn’t for the location, I’m not sure that I would again. The staff are pleasant and I love the aesthetics, but it’s the little things that have all added up this trip. From a bit of black mould in the shower, chipped and peeling paint in the bathroom and how most of the cutlery in the suite were dirty/had yogurt/soap on them. I like all the perks that you get with their loyalty program (early check in/out) but again, I might look at what else is near the next time.

All the staff are friendly and helpful at this well-located hotel, near Earl’s Court. The decor has a style and originality, the room was clean, comfortable, and the whole place has a beautiful smell. I had a garden room, which is quiet, if a little dark. There is a cafe and restaurant serving a decent enough menu. I would definitely stay here again - highly recommended.

This was such a fun stay! From the airport, we took the train to the hotel's station, which ended up being a central hub for other transfers. Getting around London was very easy because of this, and rarely did we have to transfer trains as we travelled. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, and our walk to and from was surrounded by convenient food options, grocery stores, and souvenir shops. Upon our early arrival, the staff safely held our luggage so that we could begin exploring. Our room was equipped with a small stovetop, kettle, and microwave. The hotel was quiet. USB-C ports were available in the outlets, which saved us from purchasing an adapter. We opted to upgrade our stay to include breakfast, which was healthy and delicious, in the hotel's restaurant, Eve. There were two breakfast courses, and the main entree was one of eight cooked to order dishes. For dinners, we stopped by Eve for two specials- their BOGO drinks happy hour and their weekday special, $20 for a sourdough pizza, a basket of parmesan fries, and two wines to share, though other dinner options were also available. A staffed cafe/coffee bar was located on the opposite end of the lobby, for those who may need to complete work. The atmosphere was most unique to us. The restaurant, Eve, was housed within a greenhouse, as pictured, and filled with plants and books to skim through, including London travel books which helped us decide what to do on our trip. Highly satisfied!

The location is excellent and the room is very quiet (we stayed at the courtyard side). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The great thing was also a laundry machine in the room!
The colors of the room are not our favorites, and the rug and the lampshade are not our style but okay. Overall, a good place and the pizza place is good downstairs.

The public spaces of the hotel are beautiful. The exterior is poorly illuminated at night making it hard to find when arriving late, and not feeling particularly safe when dark. The location is convenient near Earl’s Court station, which runs directly to LHR. It would be helpful if it was more prominently stated, or mentioned at check in, that there is no service in the rooms (sheets, towels, etc.). I see it is there if you click through the amenities, but more prominently placed would be helpful. I would not have booked this hotel if I knew that.

The location is excellent, central and convenient yet away from the tourist areas, and the staff were most helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, with good heating, comfortable bedding and suitable appliances. On the downside, the room felt dark in spite of the numerous light fixtures, and the hallway corridors could benefit from more frequent hoovering. Also, the shower grab bar seemed inadequately located, which made entering and exiting a bit unsafe. Overall, however, we were happy with our stay.

First off John at the front desk was great. Super friendly and checked us in quickly. The room we had was the studio suite. It came with a two burner stove, large fridge, a dishwasher and a washer dryer combo. Unexpected but perfect for our 10 day trip. The staff was always helpful but the room was only cleaned once for our stay. That was fine. We got toilet paper when we needed it and if you needed it you could tell the desk and housekeeping would empty your trash.
The bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the tub/shower drained slow.
All in all a great way to visit London.

This was my second time staying here for a week at a time. The first time was great, but it has gone down significantly. The staff was consistently rude throughout. They put me in an accessible basement room even though I did not need an accessible room. I asked if there was anything that wasn’t below ground and dark. They just kept insisting it wasn’t dark and you know what, they were wrong. The coffee hadn’t been replenished, there was no blow dryer and when I asked for one it took them over 24 hours to provide one. The room wasn’t cleaned properly and dust had accumulated in the swivel mirror. The bathroom was unclean. They made a big deal about scheduling a “weekly clean” and gave us a 9-6pm window. We left and came back at 6 to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, when I raised the issue they said there had been a miscommunication with the cleaning staff and they had gone home for the day. And finally, they locked us out of the room an hour before check out. They said the card was reactivated, it wasn’t, I kept having to go up and down the elevator because they could not seem to activate the key. Finally, a staff member had to come and open the door herself. Absurd, very disappointing, and honestly the whole thing was a bother. Stay somewhere else.

My friend & I stayed at Ember Locke for a visit during Christmas time. The hotel was aesthetic with a nice bar on the main floor. However, there were steps leading up to the main entrance, with two big luggage’s was extremely difficult to get up. When we got our hotel keys, our room was off of the main entrance on the ground floor. The hotel had multiple events going on through out the weekend which felt unsafe. The room was also not clean. We found an old badge and pistachios shells on the floor. Housekeeping did not come around and to get new towels you had to go to the front desk. Temperature was not room controlled, extremely hot and had to be shut off. Our tv also was not working. Disappointing stay as the pictures and potential is there but overall experience was not great.

Dusty room, unable to individually control temp of room which (in Dec) ended up being far too warm at times. Did not feel comfortable opening the window to cool it down since it was in the first floor. Was offered a dust-covered fan which did help some. The toilets in the rooms struggled to flush so toilet paper would stay in the bowl. On the plus side, the towels were soft and fluffy. The shower had great water pressure. There is no manual on how to operate the washer/dryer or microwave. I did manage to figure both out thankfully. I didn’t watch any television since it was located downstairs versus the more logical location of in the bedroom.

Overall our stay was fabulous and the hotel is very unique and quirky. We arrived 3 hours early to drop our bags off and John at the reception allowed us to check in which was much appreciated. In fact his service and friendliness were outstanding during our short stay. Our studio room was lovely and spacious and we loved how it was decorated. We had cocktails at the bar in the evening which was lively and the staff were very helpful. The onsite gym was also very good with plenty of equipment. The only issues during our stay were firstly that there were no towels in the gym and also they seemed under staffed at breakfast. We waited a long time for our coffee and food but the food itself was excellent when it did arrive. We would definitely stay again as the location was also excellent.

Hotel was beautiful, great location to Earls Court tube stop and the service was also excellent. The only downside was that it was extremely hot in the corridor and our room was also really really warm. We had a thermostat, but I asked the desk how to work it and they said the heater is centrally controlled, so we had no way to adjust it. We had to sleep with the windows open. Our room faced the back of the hotel and there was not even a breeze, so it was hard to sleep in the heat. I come from a different climate so for some it may not be a big deal, but it felt a bit like camping for so many nights with the windows open. Otherwise, just teaches me to do better research, but overall such a beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

The description is “glamorous” but it’s anything but.

Great location walking distance from Earls Court Underground ( we got the train directly from Heathrow Airport). Fabulous decor throughout the hotel. Room was good and had a decent sized fridge and a very good shower. It was nice to be able to open the windows too.
The bed was very comfortable however the 10cm gap to the wall on one side got a bit old as we stayed five nights - would have been fine for a few nights stay.

The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our room was lovely and situated off the courtyard so it was extremely quiet. The room was well laid out with ample room for 2, with a perfect dining nook in the mini Kitchen (which was also very convenient)! The art deco themed decor in the lobby is fabulous. We loved staying there and will definitely book a room there on our next trip to London without a doubt. A big shout out again to the reception staff! A very cool relaxed vibe in an art deco styled haven.

Let’s start with the fact that there is no outside light to the building. Not great for security.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Ground floor amenities were satisfactory.
Issues: Not pre-informed that there was no daily housekeeping for room. The bed was up against one wall making it near impossible for that person to easily get in and out of bed.
The room lighting was poor.
Mold in the shower.
Had a sink, hotplate, dishes etc but no dish soap or dish towels.
By our experience with 4 star hotels, Ember Locke did not come close. At best, it was a low 3.
The one reason we picked a hotel over an ABNB was because we were expecting daily housekeeping and lack of this was very disappointing. We would have chosen elsewhere had we known.

We’ve stayed that the Locke aparthotel in Dublin and loved it, so we thought this London location would be equally great. Unfortunately, we found that the only positives of the Locke Studio rooms were that the beds were comfortable and the TVs had a wide selection of things to watch. The biggest problems were the bathrooms and room temperature. The shower/bathtub drains do not drain properly, so we were standing ankle deep in our own bath water. The toilets seemed old and creaked every time we sat on them. The sink taps were very strange and seemed to give off a weird odour when the water was running. The thermostat in the room did not work, so the room was always freezing at night. No matter how much we increased the temperature, it always stayed at 19 degrees. The kitchenette was somewhat well-equipped, except the fridge was very small and there wasn’t dish soap to do any dishes. Overall, this aparthotel is not worth the price for its lack of working amenities.

The room was amazing (besides a little dirt in the bathroom, barely noticeable but a bit weird once had noticed), the check in was easy, amenities great, we were super comfortable and loved the style and atmosphere. Service in the morning was a bit slow for breakfast so we waited a long time for coffee and food but besides that we had a really great time!

The whole experience exceeded my expectations 100%. The room unexpectedly large with everything you would need, it was spotless, bed super comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again on my return to London. Thankyou

Staff very helpful. Unfortunately it is not possible to adjust the temperature in the rooms. The only alternative was to have maintenance pry open the windows allowing city noises into the room all night.
