In general this hotel is first class. Very quiet considering the location, lovely staff and close to the museums.

The only problem we had was with room service meal. My wife's was good, mine looked slapped together, and had luke warm tooth breaking chips. Just about edible and I was too hungry to send it back though.

The Rembrandt is ideally located for the V&A, Natural History Museum, Hyde Park and environs. Tube stop about 10 min walk with several lines. The staff is lovely, bed comfortable. The room furniture is dated but my bathroom was recently updated. Toiletries just the basics. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices. Bar and lounge very nice. I would stay again.

For the area this offers good value for money. The property is a bit tired but clean and staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar/sitting room is nice. Breakfast is ok, skating on the minimum acceptable for the area. The room has a bath doubling as a jacuzzi . There are no other amenities. You can pay extra to visit the next door pool which is 15 m and has a small weight area and hit tub. The changing rooms have a steam and sauna. But as I said you pay extra

Excellent stay at Rembrandt Hotel! The hotel staff were great ~ including the morning and evening maitre ds and concierge. Loved the historic building - rooms were small but nice and clean. The morning breakfast was \"outstanding\" and consistent - lovely dining area. We also had dinners there as well ..including \"high tea\" both were also excellent! Easy walk to Harrod's (my bucket list) and across the street from Victoria and Albert Museum... a must as well!! Would be glad to return & highly recommend to our friends!

Within 20 mins tube ride from king’s cross this hotel is perfectly located and in a very nice area with many lovely restaurants close by. The hotel was immaculately clean and well maintained with a spacious comfortable bar . Rooms were very nice and the self service breakfast was one of the best I’ve had . Would definately stay again .

Lovely friendly staff and a clean and functional room.

Perfect for our stay on the Kensington area of London, close to all the local museums and points of interest.

The room was great, spacious and comfortable with minimal road noise from the buy road outside.

Restaurant offers a good breakfast as well. Being gluten free it was nice to see a dedicated gluten free station with covered bread and pre packaged cereals. A lot of the buffet items were gluten free too, just wish the sausages were as well!

Have stayed before and will stay again.

I believe they are doing some remodeling on the property, some rooms are nice and updated, there other rooms really ugly! After 2 mins in my room I requested and immediate change! They accommodated me in a nicer room with everything I requested. The staff is really good. I had a great time in London.

I thought the staff was excellent.
I was particularly impressed with Saish, the restaurant- manager in the evening. We ate most dinners at the hotel. Saish was helpful and knowledgeable about the city and the attractions and provided us with a unique insight into places to visit and how to best reach the different destinations over our five night stay.

Good location, just a few blocks from museums, nice walk to the park and close to the u around to easier get around. Staff was very nice, I paid for the room for the night before since we were coming in from NYC on an early flight and our room was ready and they had us all checked in. Breakfast was good and had a variety. Rooms and hotel was fine, little outdated, rooms could use a refresher on modernizing but it was fine.

Clean room, friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was really good, but the dinner service was not. The dinner was a bit mediocre for the cost.

The fitness room costs an additional fee to use.

They do not allow guests to check in early unless you want to pay 80 euros additional. This was irritating as our flight arrived at 6:30am. They said we could get in immediately if we pay, so the rooms were available and ready.

My friend stayed at a different hotel and was able to check in early without the extortion.

Lovely breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Twin room, 232, was a good size and had a whirlpool bath! Room faced into the centre of the hotel and was quiet.
Only negative was the offer of a free drink if you checked in prior to arrival, which then wasn't available because I didn't book directly with the hotel 🙄 Seemed churlish not to offer that when I raised it on arrival.

City break with my cousin.
The hotel is in a good location and a short walk from South Kensington tube station; the staff where freindly and helpful, the breakfast on the morning was nice.
Lots of places to chose to eat out on a night time that are within walking distance if the hotel.
If you want to use the pool it's best to pick a day that is going to be the least busy to get your money's worth as it cost £15 per day for each person and, we took advantage of the adult only times which where very quite as well.
Will stay at this hotel again.

I love this place! This was my second visit, and check in was great (staff are so warm and friendly), the location couldn’t be more convenient (close to South Kensington station), and their complimentary breakfast is also excellent. I was there after a very long trek back from Seychelles so I opted to get a Thai massage (with Dada), and it was just what I needed before embarking on the last leg of my journey back to Canada. I was also very appreciative of the wonderful service I received from Neil in helping me to secure proper transportation to the airport. The only downside is the pool/gym isn’t directly owned by the hotel so you have to pay an additional fee to use it (hence my score for amenities), however when in London you have plenty of opportunity to exercise outdoors so who really wants to waste time at the gym anyway. Looking forward to staying here again next time I’m in London.

The good points were that the staff were nice, the reception desk, foyer bar, and breakfast were very thorough, and that breakfast was included. Sadly, the overall experience was just 'okay', which was disappointing for a hotel of this supposed calibre. The room was small, the 'amenities' that I paid £20 for was a 1-night upgrade because the two nights we'd booked were on different rates. I would struggle to know what the upgraded amenities were: no coffee machine, only basic shampoo and body wash, only one towel for 2 of us, and only one mug. We had to ask for more pillows, and the room attendant badgered us to not clean the room overnight three times. I can't say I would rush to recommend this to others, even though it's a nice place in a great location.

This hotel false advertises it has a pool and a Gym onsite. It doesn't it is a separate off site location and you have to pay £15 to use it. Only mentions this in the small print tucked away on hotel.com under policies. £230 for 1 night and you have to pay to go to the gym or pool. I will never return for that reason

Yes room was terrible one of them the one that we paid more for was slightly ok maybe i would say just the bathroom was renovated a while ago my brothers room was a disaster we were 4 people my daughter wanted to stay with us in the room thats why we got the bigger room that sleeps 3 and at the check in they made us pay extra because the room we paid for three people said only two again we were 4 people for 2 rooms why does it matter where they stay here or there the restaurant is terrible it takes 30 mins to get water never mind order they charged us for 30 mins leaving later the room each 40 pounds this is for me the worst experience in london being here at hotels for 42 days already

Room clean. Bed and bedding good. Bathroom clean and updated. Nespresso machine with pods, tea and kettle. Air con bit noisy but seemed to work. Nice bath robes and decent towels. Location ideal for museums.
Paid for upgrade to room and it was modern and nice. Worth £40? Can’t say as I didn’t see the Grand King to compare.
Breakfast was ok, not brilliant.

Disappointing you have to pay a lot for a swim!

Only negative is the stupid shower head - if you turn it on, you get soaked with cold water and rainfall showers are no good for a shower without hair washing.

The place was overall fine. I was really unhappy with the fitness facilities. For one thing, they charged 15£ per person per day. I had no idea about this because it’s buried in some obscure part of the Expedia listing. What’s more, the pool is not available for huge swaths of the day because of swim lessons. This is also not advertised, and it defeats the entire point of a hotel having a pool. I talked about this to staff, and nobody cared. Otherwise, I liked my stay fine.
