Fantastic hotel with amazing service!

10/10 would stay again. The service was amazing, it was spotless, the bedding luxurious, and fantastic location! Thoughtful touches (homemade shortbread every night with turndown service, an anniversary dessert brought to us, etc) made the stay extra special. Just book it!

Hands down one of the BEST hotel experiences ever. The staff, especially MARK, was incredibly. The food was unbelievable. The afternoon tea, scones, breakfast, fish and chips at this hotel was so good. I would go back to London just to stay here again.

The staff were lovely, that's the only positive.

The room was tiny, and the bed not wonderfully comfortable. the room service food was really quite poor and lacked the key ingredients in the dish.

The good news is that you don’t need to go there, they can bring you breakfast in the bar area on the left as you walk in, which is far nicer!

I would like to make a few suggestions to improve on theEgerton - but wait, I have none!!!

The upgrades are clearly worthy. We are, and will be, repeat guests. The Egerton is discreetly and strategically placed in a quiet, pleasant walking neighborhood but steps away from the hubbub of busy streets.
The staff are without exception competent and so very pleasant. Also, your clientele have all been so nice with whom to share pleasantries. The furnishings and fixtures are modern and of the highest quality. The beds and bedding are so refreshing after a hard day of ‘museum-ing’ and shopping.
A special thank you to your interior designer, whose presence and tastes are warm but as formal as we expect.

Just finished our 5th stay at the Egerton. While this boutique hotel is beautiful, it’s the wonderful staff that keep us coming back. They are warm and always eager to share recommendations and make arrangements in order to make our stay memorable.

We also love the location as it is on a quiet street and a short walk to South Kensington station. It’s also just a 3 minute walk to the V & A, which always has an interesting special exhibitions in addition to their permanent exhibits.

The rooms are a uniquely decorated but are all beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. It is also a very quiet hotel so I know I’ll get a good nights sleep. I look forward to returning to the Egerton the next time I visit London.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially when it came to navigating around London. Their local insights truly enriched our visit!

However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the honesty of the housekeeping team. On our first night, my husband and I inadvertently left our credit cards and other valuables out on the table while the room was being cleaned. To our astonishment, when we returned, everything was exactly as we had left it—nothing was missing! This level of integrity is a testament to the hotel’s values and made us feel incredibly safe and secure during our stay.

This property is located in a great area of London (Kensington) in a posh neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options as well as located close to great museums.

Although the rooms are small, they are comfortable. The public spaces are great and the staff is wonderful.

Our only recommendation is to configure the bathrooms to more convenient for placing personal items, including a spot to hang up wet towels.

Really Enjoyed Egerton.

Did valet where they take your car to secure parking garage. That was 45 GBP and 10 GBP each time to pick up or drop off. Charming hotel, we got upgrade. Great service, close to VA Museum, would stay here again.

We booked a double room and were surprised to have a room with a very narrow double bed: too small for 2 people. We had to pay GBP50 per night (a discounted rate we were told) to upgrade to a room with a queen size bed and were not offered a free upgrade.

Lovely hotel but didn’t meet high expectations

We arrived early for check in, our room was not available but the staff were friendly and we had a relaxing drink in the lounge before heading out to check in on our return. Our queen room was decorated beautifully, though the bathroom felt cramped. The shower was frustrating as it’s above the bath and not high enough- I had to duck to get fully under. The bed was adequate but not comfortable, too many people may have sat on the side which meant the mattress felt sloped towards the edge when you lay on it. Unfortunately, our nights sleep was compromised as the rooms heating system was faulty, the room was set at 20C but got hotter and hotter, waking us up in sweats in the middle of the night. Not what you expect in January. When I reported this to reception they didn’t appear to care, I’d already paid upfront and was checking out that day. The hotels location is fantastic for Knightsbridge, just far enough back off the main road to lose the traffic noise. Loads to see and do within easy walking distance. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, though for the amount paid we were left feeling disappointed.

Every part of our stay exceeded expectations. The service especially was outstanding, and we found all the staff so helpful, accommodating, and thoughtful. When we checked out, we mentioned in passing that we would be in Oxford later in our trip. A few hours later, we were surprised to get a personal email from this staff member, who had previously lived in Oxford. She kindly shared some of her favorite spots to visit there, places we might otherwise miss. So thoughtful! And that was just one of several wonderful interactions with the Egerton staff. The Egerton is the only place my family and I want to staying wherever we get the opportunity to come overseas to London. While it might be too small to have all the modern extras, most travelers expect or need, the staff alone make this the very best hotel in the city. Luxurious in London

This was our second stay at Egerton. It’s a fantastic hotel with and extremely friendly and helpful staff. The neighborhood can’t be beaten, especially, if you are looking to get the most out of the posh neighborhoods of Knightsbridge and Chelsea. It’s also a short walk from about half the major tourist sites. We keep wanting to fly our dogs to London with us, just to take them to high tea - for dogs - at the hotel.

A true gem in the heart of Knightsbridge

An absolute gem!!! The Egerton House Hotel is charming, the staff are delightful and the whole stay far exceeded our expectations.
We arrived much earlier than planned and our rooms were ready very shortly after arrival. While we waited just a few minutes they served us tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lovely drawing room.
The location was on a quiet street but surrounded by some of the best shopping, restaurants, pubs and attractions London has to offer.
We had 2 rooms for our family and each had its own unique decor. A true London vibe!
From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond for our whole family.
On New Year’s Eve we had dinner in the dining room and it was exquisite. Complete with NYE poppers, a bottle of champagne and a delicious meal.
We honestly did not want to leave and cannot wait to return.
This will be the ONLY hotel we will stay at while in London.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. I return because it has always exceeded my expectations. This time my room was on the main floor, felt like a dungeon, very small and constricting. The worst was it had a terrible odor. I did address with the staff, they opened my windows, they should have moved my room. Lastly the food was not good, I had as always their croque-monsiur, they changed it, now it is all bread!
