Hotel is a proper 5 star experience in a beautiful, but quiet street of London - located very close to Hyde Park and near Buckingham Palace. The staff were wonderful and the lobby area is a unique area to enjoy breakfast, dinner, and the occasional board game / cards in a quiet but homely setting (with a cup of tea ofcourse!).

The firmdale hotels chain is one of my favorite chain of hotels, I stayed in almost all their hotels in London and one of their properties in New York . Unfortunately this time we were given a room in the basement and they put the blame on our reservation being made through Expedia, the room is nice except the bathroom had a bath tub which was very high , and you can injure yourself getting in and out. Once I told them about the issue they said we have other room with a walk in shower? But since day one we were told we will try to accommodate your request but without getting back at us. I didn’t like the service and made sure to tell them. Once again i complain because I do like the hotel, but didn’t like the service this time.

Exceptional staff at The Knightsbridge Hotel went out of their way to make us comfortable, including a complimentary continental breakfast when we arrived from our international flight before check-in time. The breakfast at this hotel was outstanding - fresh fruits and a variety of cooked to order choices were all beautifully prepared. Our room was smallish but very tastefully decorated, thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. This hotel is on a quiet street close to Harrod’s, Harvey Nichols and other high-end shops, and easy walking distance to museums and South Kensington.

A disappointment. Luxury Room was smaller than expected and so poorly lit that it felt dingy, almost depressing. Climate control was 'locked' so any adjustment had to be via the front desk (the room was unpleasantly warm on arrival). The absence of a small in-room kettle/tea/coffee was odd. Staff advised that the drawing room/eating areas become congested so we felt a bit of an inconvenience.
On the plus side, the decor is great and the bed was very comfortable (in contrast to the room chairs). Wifi and digital access were good. Minibar had some reassuringly good stuff in it although we chose not to indulge.

Lovely hotel and service, but unfortunately they use dated/uncomfortable feather pillows that can't hold your head properly so your head ends up against the mattress and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Neither I or my partner got more than 4 hours sleep a night because of this.
We asked at the reception desk each day if they had any firm pillows. On the first day they gave us some foam pillows (the ones they must have for hypoallergenic people) and these were equally poor quality and terrible to sleep on. The other days they simply said no.
For the price they charge I would absolutely expect them to have a \"pillow menu\" for guests to choose from. Even Premier Inn offer this service nowadays.

Rooms was of a very good size and extremely comfortable - only negative was that the room was on the lower ground floor directly beneath the library which was very noisy every time someone walked above so we were woken up very early. The bathrooms are small and fininished in grey granite which is very depressing. The hot handle at the sink was loose, the tubs are high off the ground and once in very slippery. Some of the wait staff at breakfast did not understand english well which meant that it was hard to comunicate with them and they were slow, very slow. There are not enough tables at breakfast so you have to eat off a coffee table or your lap, sometimes.

Super friendly staff+gorgeous room/breakfast area+Fantastic location 1 min from Harrods and near many restaurants. I do feel I got the same level of service (ever friendlier) than more expensive London hotels such as the JW Marriott. Each room has a different decor so I'll definitely come back when I visit London next time!

After trying many different hotels, all expensive, I found The Knightsbridge and have been coming to this hotel ever since, for over a decade, usually for a week or so each time. The rooms are all beautifully appointed with Kit's exquisite sense of unique decor, exceptionally clean, modern bathrooms, lovely neighborhood, quiet. Excellent staff, always available and top notch. Delightful library/sitting room with fireplace. No formal restaurant but easy to order to room or to library; tasty and healthy menu. Overall, this hotel always impresses!

Loved loved this hotel. Nestled on a quiet treelined street, The Knightsbridge Hotel felt like home every time I walked through the door. The mix of modern and old English decor was stately yet warm and inviting. Enjoyed a cocktail at the \"Honesty Bar\" in the common living area off the lobby. Close to Harrods as well as many other top of the line retail stores, and within walking distance of 5 star eateries including Hawksmoor and Giovanni. Eucalyptus Lavender toiletries, fresh flowers in the room, and little treats throughout my stay all helped seal the deal. I cannot say enough about this hotel. Will definitely be back.
