Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The front desk was very helpful, Ann at the switchboard, Maintenance et all. Clean room, and very comfortable beds. Lobby bar is also perfect, the bartender was very professional and made great cocktails.

Staff is really helpfull and polite . Location is very good, very close to Victoria Albert and National History museum. But the walls are very thin you can hear every voice and feel every movement happens next room. the building is old you can feel it. we had a bad smell at the bath.

We have stayed at this hotel on two previous occasions and this time we were very disappointed overall. When we asked about an upgrade we were literally “fobbed off”, service in the bar and casual dining was disorganised to say the least. Our room when cleaned one day we weren’t provided with face washers and another day no body wash. Our last night it was windy and the noise from something loose on the roof was extremely loud and annoying.
Our next time in London we would be looking at other hotels.

Tuve que salir del hotel antes de una hora de ingresar.
La alfombra además de tener olor a humedad estaba llena de manchas (anexo foto)
La ropa de cama estaba humeda y con olor (anexo foto)
El baño tenía pelos y restos de algo (anexo foto) realmente muy desagradable
La base de la cama estaba en pésimas condiciones (anexo foto)
Cuando quise retirarme del hotel porque era imposible estar en estas condiciones ni siquiera me facilitaron la salida, el personal fue muy desagradable
No dormí ni una noche en el hotel y lastimosamente había pagado del 100% así que terminé perdiendo mi dinero

The Kensington is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff. We had a twin room and the only complaint we had is that it was ridiculously tiny! We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room so it wasn’t a huge issue, however, for the cost a larger space is much preferred. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and pretty sitting area. The neighborhood is fantastic- wedged between 2 tube stations and there are a slew of restaurants and stores surrounding the hotel. South Kensington from is beautiful and quiet and within a short walk to Hyde Park. Overall, a great stay!

From the moment we got to the property, we were treated by each staff with exceptional customer service. The hotel is in a wonderful and quiet area with a quick walk to the South Kensington tube. The room lacked drawer space but made up for it with a comfortable bed and bedding. They should warn about the use of American made hair dryers though. Despite having a converter plug, my hair dryer essentially was fried upon my first use. When in need of an iron/ironing board upon check in, the front desk staff sent someone up immediately with these items that we were able to use for the week. Thank you!
A shout out to those who went over and above: Dining room: Levente, Adele (pm dining room manager, and Fernanda, and ALL concierges who gave amazing recommendations for dinners and helped with reservations. The Sky Garden was a hit. When making a special request of a grab and go breakfast for one of the morning's of our stay (we had an early bus tour and would miss the breakfast), Adele worked with us to arrange for a \"to go\" breakfast. Upon arrival at the front desk at 6:30 am, it was all set to travel (complete with hot tea, coffee, and pastries to go). The breakfast package was well worth the price with bountiful fruit, a pastry basket, and entree, along with juices and tea/coffee. Thank you, thank you, thank you for offering this exceptional property and stay. It was my first trip to London (not my husband's), and certainly not our last. We would HIGHLY recommend your property.

The actual hotel lobby, lounge and restaurant are very good. Staff was supportive and friendly. However we stayed in a queen bedroom and it was subpar. The bathroom lighting is super dark, so you can't even see in the mirror to fix yourself to go out. The chromecast on the tv did not function well. It kept locking up. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect a better experience in the room.

The Kensington is a quaint boutique hotel that I know I’ll want to return to! The restaurant, lounge, and tea areas are beautifully and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect balance of luxury and comfort while honoring the building’s historic charm in the most elegant way. It all feels lush and refined.

The staff is outstanding—warm, courteous, and always ready to help. The doormen, in particular, add a special touch with their friendliness and thoughtful conversation while you wait for your ride.

And the location? Possibly my favorite part. As a first-time visitor to London, I wanted to be close to the main attractions—but not too close. This hotel delivered exactly that. Tucked away in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, it felt like a peaceful retreat far from the hustle and bustle, yet I could easily walk to most major sights. A true hidden gem that feels like another world.

All in all, it was a fabulous stay. I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent customer service from the moment we arrived. This hotel truly lived up to its 5 star rating. The location provided easy access to the metro, and was central and extremely safe. Plenty to do and if you do not feel like leaving the hotel, you could easily dine in as well. This hotel is worth every penny and will be the only place I stay in London when I return.

Treated us like family, arrived having picked up food poisoning from the airline and the entire staff were so incredibly thoughtful and helpful. I was alone with my son and I knew we were in good hands. They helped me arrange medicine, a Dr and in room nurse to manage through. Every detail is thought of and worth a MUCH higher rate for what you receive staying here.

As a five-star hotel, excellence and luxury is expected. Toilet sink drainage not the best (reported and partially repaired). Staff though were very professional and attentive and even provided us with some macarons for the inconvenience. Breakfast, I’m sure, is scrumptious, though at £32 a head we gave it a miss.

Schönes Hotel, Frühstück nicht besonderes gut oder gesund. Es wurde wegen der nicht fertiges Zimmer das Frühstück kostenlos Geschenk, aber am Ende wurde doch von meiner Kreditkarte abgezogen. Ich habe nachgefragt, wurde gesagt, dass das Geld zurück überwiesen wird und auch eine Rechnung gesendet wird. Bis jetzt ist nichts passiert. Seit 1 Woche. Das finde ich unprofessionell. Ich hatte nicht vor dort zu frühstücken.

Very quick and courteous check in followed by a short tour of the hotel. Luggage arrived in room super fast. Very tasty lunchtime snack in quiet surroundings. Bottle of bubbly left in our room as it was my husband’s birthday which was a nice gesture. Lovely brekkie the following morning and quick and easy checkout. Will revisit in the future

This is my second time staying at the Kensington. The staff was wonderful and they tried really hard to meet all my needs. They surprised me with a balloon, sparkling wine and a really good Victoria sponge cake. The bed was really comfortable and I received turned down service every night. Afternoon tea was wonderful and delicious. The only problem was one of the elevators’ buttons didn’t work for my floor. But other than that it was a lovely experience.
