A Gem of a B&B in Florence
Amazing little B&B in the very heart of Florence. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Service was amazing and the location can’t be beat. Incredibly quiet given the central location. As a plus due to Covid they are serving breakfast at one of the restaurants in the square right next to the hotel. Service there was also amazing as was the view. Will definitely stay here on my next trip.

My stay was great! The room had everything I needed, it was in a great central location, and breakfast was included. The only inconvenient thing is that there is not staff present 24/7. The check in hours are very limited, but they do provide other ways to check in if you are unable to make it to the hotel in time.

This charming, sweet place is nestled right in the heart of where it's at in Florence.
The single rooms are small, a single bed and very compact. The double room was more typical.
Guido, the host will bend over backwards to help in any way—and actually can—(I had contrasting experiences with bad attitude at the front desk and complete incompetence leading to missing a train.)
Guido moved guests and communicated in a timely fashion to accommodate my request with a great, optimistic attitude.
He carries your luggage up and down the stairs as there is no elevator.
The room was beautiful, comfortable and our last night in Florence was spent drinking Prosecco supplied in the room, window open, and packing for the journey home to the sounds of a live orchestra playing in the neighboring square.
The breakfast is fresh, delicious, expansive and they give you all the espresso a heart could desire.
I highly recommend this lovely place.

This is in one of the best locations we’ve ever stayed at. Less than 10 yards to the Piazza and in the middle of virtually everything! Great for enjoying the city after the tour buses leave for the day. Guido helped us carry bags up stairs and let us leave bags in the morning while our room was being prepared. Super continental breakfast! I’d return and recommend to family.

Absolutely thrilled to have stayed at this B&B. In the heart of Florence, adjacent to the Uffizi, palace Vecchio and Pont Vecchio. Clean and spacious and friendly staff, it doesn’t get much better value than this

Central location, not really a B&B
The location was excellent. The staff is only present for a few hours in the morning/afternoon, so they weren't present to help with any directions/questions. I would not call this a B&B (by American standards), the breakfast provided was sub-par (prepackaged foods, warm juice). The room was beautiful and comfortable, but I felt it was more an apartment than a hotel. Also, you can only get to it via a flight of stairs so if you have large luggage it is difficult to get in. Once in, it was an overall enjoyable stay, and the hotel did make sure we were aware of how to get in and the hours they are available!

Our stay at La Signoria could not have been better. Beautiful, clean, comfortable room much better than we expected or imagined (the pictures don't do it justice). Excellent location walking distance to museums, churches, restaurants, bars, shops and attractions. Great for families. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming (Guido, Lorenzo, Lorenza). Breakfast was great. Out of all our stays throughout our Euro trip this one was definitely our favorite. Highly recommend and Florence itself was amazing. If and when we return we will definitely be staying here.

Nicely renovated b & b in Florence
We enjoyed this b and b. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. Beautifully renovated and perfectly located. To get there you had to go up two flights of stairs but they helped with suitcases and for us it wasn't a problem but could be for people who are older or who have limited mobility. Guido was absolutely invaluable on our last morning when our flight was suddenly cancelled and he found us an airport hotel in Bologna to stay in and booked it for us.

This hotel is situated just off Piazza della Signori but is quiet and relaxing. Our room had a calm atmosphere and the bed was comfortable.

Very clean and great location
Because we were arriving late the hotel set up a pin for us to enter the building. Security and lighting was high tech but didn't compromise the old feel of the building. Rooms were immaculate and air conditioning worked really well. Location was better than I first thought...a very short walk across the square to the Uffizi.

We had a 2 bedroom place as there were 4 of us including our 2 kids. I'd say the master was gigantic - very unEuropean in size. The kids had trundle beds in a side room so they each had a place. Very nice friendly staff and breakfast etc. We'd stay again.

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great. It's very close to the Ponte Vecchio and less than a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room and bathroom were very specious and we would stay here again in the future.

The people who run this place are great. Very friendly at check-in and the next morning during breakfast. This is in a location that can't be beat. There are a few stairs to climb but not too bad. Room was spacious and very clean/simple. Nothing fancy but perfect for our stay.

Comfortable place for travellers on a budget
Fairly quiet neighbourhood, and a comfortable room. However, the breakfast was not very impressive as most of the products came out of a packet. Would have appreciated an electric kettle in the room. Location is slightly far from the train station when you are lugging luggage, but smack centre of the shopping district and near significant tourist attractions. Hosts were very friendly.

For Heavy Sleepers!
There is a open market at the end of the street and every morning push carts come clanking down the street about 6am. It isn't the hotels fault, but for us it was impossible to sleep through. If we were to go back we would pick a different location. Also the breakfast that was included is very basic. They offer cereal, rolls, yogurt, bananas, apples, and juice and coffees. The cheese that is provided is not real cheese but foil wrapped triangles. Very disappointing. Finally the wifi was not very reliable.

Fabulous B&B with exceptionally nice hosts - brother and sister Luciano and Luciana. Would go back in a heartbeat. The rooms were very simple and very comfortable. B&B is in the Ponte Vecchio area and close to all major sites. Definitely recommend.

The location of this b & b was great for our 3 day visit to Florence, within easy walking distance to the centre of Florence, good restaurants and all the sights, but still quiet at night and good for sleeping. It was nice to be able to come and go when we got tired and needed to take a break. Room was very clean, with a decent shower, bar fridge which could be used for cooling other things. Breakfasts were better than some of the other hotels we stayed at (fresh fruit, cappicunico, fresh croissants, etc). Staff were helpful and very accomodating. Highly recommended!!

Pros: Unbeatable location, excellent service, great water pressure and plenty of hot water, quiet environment (inside the B&B; the neighborhood outside can be somewhat loud at times, but that's what you get for being in the middle of everything), clean rooms.

This hotel was ideally located, and very easy to get to from the train station. Staff was very friendly, offering us something to drink as we registered for our room. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee was excellent!

Perfect location
Booked this B&B based on location and online reviews. Was pleased I did. Located centrally to the main attractions. Room was large and clean. At night the marketplace just down the street seems to be used for company parties (at least the 2 nights we were there) so some noise outside if you plan to go to bed early but not an issue for me or my family. I would stay again.

This is a great hotel run by a team of Luciano and Luciana. They are excellent pre stay communicators received ample details on how to get there, check in etc.
The location is fantastic - it is *steps* away from the Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo... you name it whatever you are looking to visit you are in easy walking distance. It is about 10-15 minute walk through Florence from the Train Station.
Its been fully refurbished inside about 5 years ago and is apparently a famous building from the area. It is in a shared entrance that looks more like a house/apartment and shares this with other apartments but it all works well and is really easy to get to and find.
The rooms are reasonable given the location and well appointed with all the amenities you would want. Breakfast is included every morning and is prepared by Luciano - everything is compact and you may meet other guests in the entryway at breakfast or during the day.
The location makes it an easy place to retire from the bustle for an afternoon siesta and them remerge in the evening when things wake up again (and can be a little quieter).
The pricing is greta given the location and we were delighted.
I would rate it 5 stars except for the beds and I talked to them about it - these are European style and while they are apparently the best available were hard for us used to a softer mattress style from the US

Very nice.
It is located in the center of town which has advantages and disadvantages. It's a great location to walk everywhere, however, there is an outdoor market open everyday. Items are set up on large wooden carts which vendors pack up and take along the cobblestone streets so every mornings at 5:30 am we would here the start of the procession of carts down the street. By 6:30/7 am because the B &B is on one floor with rooms close to the main lobby we would here them set up for brunch. Many mornings this did not matter as we were rising early anyway but a coiple mornings it would have been very nice to have a little more quiet. Again, though, the location has many advantages. The room was kept vey clean and the brunch is a wonderful additive. We had a small malfunction with an emergency light in our room but management handled it appropriately. The only other item for improvement would be a slightly better quality mattress and updated bedstead/cover options. The sheets and pillows are very good and bath has a hair dryer and towel warmer which is a nice feature. I would recommend and consider staying again.

Only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Owner gave me great walking directions by email to find the place. Ideal location, around the corner from the Uffizi and close to the vecchio bridge. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice room, modern bathroom. My room was near the breakfast area so it was a little noisy in the morning, but it was time to get up anyhow. Simple but adequate breakfast provided. Owners were very friendly and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

We booked this for two days in Florence primarily based on location. Overall, it was incredibly convenient, everything just a short walking distance. We planned a whole day at the Uffizi and it was less than 200 meters from the museum. The rooms are nice and the morning B&B breakfast fare was well above the normal you see in Italy (we live in Southern Italy). We found the bedroom doors too thin, a lot of noise bled over from the common room. The motion detectors meant that the lights in the common areas turned off prematurely. We were very happy with the location and service and would go back.

Nice little hotel, 100 yds from the Uffizi and within 15 minute walk to train station. Free wifi, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Location is a bit noisy in the early morning hours, but not bad. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Staff is very accommodating, but limited check-in hours, so make sure to communicate your arrival via email. We had to leave Assisi very early in the morning to reach the hotel by the 1:00 pm (1300 hrs) deadline for check-in. We arrived quite early, about 9:00 am, walked to the hotel with our backpacks/luggage, and luckily got into the building (one of the tenants let us in) to climb the stairs up to the hotel. The owner was very accommodating, offering to store our packs until our room was ready. She even gave us coffee and breakfast, which was quite sweet. We would stay here again.

Comfortable apartment
This apartment near one of the central squares in Florence is run by a brother and sister both who were extremely nice and helpful. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room was very clean and included breakfast in a small area near reception. This was a serve yourself so you could have as much or as little as you liked. It is about a 3 minute walk to the Uffizi gallery and in the other direction to a market square full of handbags and many other souvenirs. Be mindful of the prices in the gallery square Piazza de Signora as depending on where you are seated also changes the prices of beverages available. Also a short walk to the Duomo which is well worth a visit and climb.

Comfortable hotel in great location
Greeted warmly by owners. A B&B with only a small group of rooms, thus friendly and quiet. Located a short distance from Signoria Piazza,few short blocks to Repubblica Piazza, Ponte Vecchio, and the Cathedral, the location could not be improved. We were looked after so well, definitely a benefit of a small hotel.

La Signoria do Firenze is a great find in the middle of everything most visitors want to see in Florence, and yet not overly loud. The owners are pleasant and accommodating, and make a great cappuccino! The rooms are a bit sparse but nice, authentic and incredibly clean. Overall, this is a great value in a great location!

Very good service, close to everything called central - which includes tonnes of tourists. Quiet and comfortable. The breakfast is simple (yoghurt, bread, jam, nutella, croisants, juice, fruit and coffee) but nice. Coffee/tea and cookies available during your whole stay. Grazie mille!

wonderful experience
I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B. The location is perfect for everthing, just steps away from the Plaza de Signoria at one end of the tiny street with its Palazzo Vechio etc, and the \"new\" Mercato (market) with the famous porcelino at the other end. However, it is very quiet and tranquil.Other major attractions are all witin 5-10 minutes' walk away. The owners of the B&B - brother and sister Luciano and Luciana are charming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! My single room was adeqare in size, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B and will definitely stay here again when visiting Firenze!,

We had a very pleasant stay at La Signoria di Firenze. Luciano & Luciana were very helpful and friendly. Situated right in the centre of Florence it is within walking distance of all the attractions. We would recommend this B&B to anyone visting Florence as a couple.

Great B+B in a great location
The hotel is about 20 yards from Piazza Vecchio. It is extremely clean, but is somewhat older giving it an authentic feel. The room was nice and large. They have snacks available round the clock in the lobby. We needed an extra night in town and the staff actually helped us reserve it at another hotel, since they were sold out. Great B+B, our favorite hotel stay in Italy.

Very nice
This is basically a small B & B (5 or 6 units) operated by a brother and sister who are incredibly nice/friendly. The location was incredible - 5 minutes from Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, etc. Very well kept. We didn't have reservations for the Uffizi so they made them for us. They have a nice breakfast nook which is a comfortable way to start your day. They go out of their way to please their guest. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
