First let’s start on the location, it’s at the dead center of everything in the Florence city center. You’re 2 mins. walking distance from the Palazzo Vecchio and 3-4 mins. from the Duomo. You’re surround by shops restaurants, a market downstairs etc. Despite all the hustle and bustle downstairs the minute you walk into the B&B; dead quiet. Too quiet, I had to turn on the fan sometimes to sleep hahah. Then you have the Gem that is Ms. Patricia, she’s an absolute sweetheart! She’s knowledgeable, gives you suggestions, tips, recommendations and always has a fresh breakfast waiting for you. I would always wake up early (before breakfast hours) to start my day of exploring and she would always offer a coffee and something to eat. I had a wonderful experience not to mention all the things I wanted to see & do in Firenze. I don’t when but I know I will return to this city and I know where I’ll be staying.

Our stay was fantastic! Patricia was very communicative and check-in was simple. She also provided us with different recommendations for food and shopping. The room was spotless and the B&B was very cute. The breakfast in the morning was delicious- it’s a shame we only got to enjoy it the last morning as we had early tours the other days. Location-wise, it was a great place to be! Super walkable to get to the sights and also get a taxi. We recommend Patricia and will be back next time we’re in Florence!

For my wife and I this was a superb choice for a five day break in Florence. Its location is ideal, right in the heart of the city, literally everything is within walking distance.

Loved our stay at the B&B Cimitori which was very central to all the best of ancient Florence. Located on a narrow but busy side street close to the Duomo, it was quite quiet at night. Greatest shower you could ask for, a lovely included breakfast, and the very best hostess--Patricia--who gave extremely knowledgeable advice about all the best sights to see and where to shop. The only draw back would be the 42-43 stairs you must climb (tough for older folks or those with heavy baggage), but I gather Patricia is working on getting the other tenants to consider the wisdom of fitting in a small elevator. We would definitely visit again. Excellent choice!

This hotel was very spacious and comfortable. We were welcomed with a laminated list of restaurant, dessert, etc. recommendations for our stay. The included breakfast was delicious. The hotel offered free umbrellas if needed. It was central and walkable to everything (five mins to the main square and cathedral and Ponte Vecchino). When we checked out, reception asked where we were going next and proceeded to send multiple food and drink recommendations for Rome. Highly recommend!

They emailed me the day before to ask my arrival time. I arrived 1 hour after the check in time and the room was not ready. It took them 3 extra hours to give us the room. The worst was that I asked them to leave the room 1 hour later and they said no. Breakfast is ok but mainly pastries, they should incorporate at least a yogurt. The bathroom was super small. The hotel is in the second floor with no stairs. The reception girl was very nice and provided useful tips to visit the city.

The hotel and location was excellent. Very clean and newly refurbished. Everything within walking distance. It doesn’t have an elevator though. So if tou have lots of luggage with small children, you need to consider. Breakfast doesn’t start until after 8. So if you have to leave early to join tour you will miss it

The hotel is in a excellent location close to the centre, the only disadvantage is that street noise is sometimes heard despite the double glazing. The steep steps, inside the building, to the hotel floor could be a problem for some people.The room, bathroom and breakfast were all very good and the host was most helpful. We would have no hesitation in going back there.

Hotel is in good location - we were visiting the Academmia, Duomo and Uffizi Gallery & the Hotel was within 10 minute walk of all these. Also easy walk from the train station. Unfortunately we arrived after 9 pm but Valeria gave excellent directions to get to the B&B ( we made the error of not having a basic map & our data was spotty so a bit of an adventure orientating ourselves but people in the area were friendly & accomodating) and the information she provided for us to do a late check in worked perfectly. Valeria was very tolerant of us having breakfast the 1st morning earlier than the schedule as we had to be at the Accademia before 9 am. Would recommend this B&B as basic, clean, great location for short stay to visit the many attractions Florence offers.

The hotel is very good but not suitable for people with mobility issues due to 47 steps to enter the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was basic continental but fresh every day. The standard double room was a little on the small side but adequate. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay but would advise upgrading room for longer stay. The Cimatori is very central for all the sights being only 5mins walk to nearly all the major sites in Florence but is on a quiet street which is a major plus.

It’s a nice hotel, modern, probably not to long ago renovated rooms, very nice amenities. However, the hotel located on the small, secluded, but somehow noisy street. There are no public transportation nearby, so you either will have to hike or take taxi. The hotel located on the 3rd floor with quite steep steps. They can be dangerous in the dark-I couldn’t figure out how to turn on lights going downstairs.
That’s all being said: he hotel located very close to the Dome, Uffizy and other major attraction, nice shopping area and quite a few very good restaurants.
The bottom line: if you don’t mind hiking and stairs you will like it.

This is an excellent b&b in a great location on a quiet street. Our room was bright, modern, clean in a quaint setting. It is on a traffic free street with many shops and cafes. Italians are not big on breakfast, but the b&b offers fresh baked croissants, eggs, juice, coffee to please us American tourists.

This is a B&B not a hotel. The room is sparsely furnishes as are most European hotels. There is no elevator, so packing the luggage up two flights is a bit of a chore. The rooms are reasonably large, very clean, excellent bath and shower. The continental breakfast is goodand adequate but not spectacular. What this place has is LOCATION, LOCATION. Walking distance to all of the major attractions in Florence. 10 minutes to the Ufizzi, 5 to the Duomo, 15 to the Academia and the David. Food is convenient, ranging from street food to some very excellent restaurants. Excellent shopping is close and you can \"shop til you drop. I highly recommend the Cimatori.

The check-in process was very easy and everyone here are wonderful! The hotel is really clean and breakfast and the common lounge are is very good. The location is very convenient and well situated. The only drawback is all the stairs to get to the hotel. Even still I would gladly stay here again!

Enjoyed our host Valeria (she speaks several European languages); enjoyed sharing a long breakfast table with other visitors - fun conversations. Short walk to main tourist spots. Small problem: A nearby bar is open until 2am, and our room faced onto that street. When we had the air conditioning and its internal fan turned on (most of the night - the temp outside was very high), we couldn't hear the bar customers, but when we turned it off once around 1.45am, their drunken voices were very loud until the bar closed at 2am. So turn on the air conditioning if noise is a problem!

The hotel is simple and functional. Although the hotel it is two floors up this is a minor inconvenience compared to it's excellent location which meant where ever we wanted to go was a straight line as we were in the middle. Beside all the old building in the centre are tall. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is fresh but simple, composed of croissants, bread, coffee cereal, juice; and that is all you need as you want to save room for florentian delicacies for lunch and dinner.

Privacy and security was exceptional in this cozy B&B. 4 flights of stairs to second floor with no elevator. We had a spacious, newly renovated (Red) room, private bath and storage area for luggage with lockable safe. Breakfasts were served in an immaculate, prepared kitchen area for an exceptional menu of eggs, yogurt, breads and fresh fruits - Valerie cooked our breakfast of eggs and warm croissants, made cappacino and engaged in multi-lingual conversation. Helpful supportive staff was flexible with kitchen use - - and in providing suggestions and directions for transportation and area attractions which made our 5 day stay convenient, trouble-free.

The B&B is a little difficult to find but has a great central location. The narrow passages between buildings reflects GPS signals and confuses mapping service apps on a phone, making your location jump around. Once there, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Domenico carried our bags up to the 2nd floor (warning, no elevator for those in need). But it's easy to get to tourism sites and convenient to gelaterie, shopping, and restaurants.
Room: Bathroom was small and lacked shelf space but had adequate hot water for showers and noisy toilet flushing. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selections were very good with hot out of the oven croissants. Unfortunately, a noisy bar across the way failed to observe a music curfew at 11 pm and a shrill alarm ran for 10 minutes at 2:30 am on our final night.

The location is awesome if you can look past a few key things. The owner was very accommodating when I emailed and there were fast responses. The lady we dealt with was very condisending. Breakfast was literally burned croissants and self service with out of date yogurt. The stairs are okay if you request the first floor. We just lucky in our placement.

First experience at a B&B. Val and Dom were very nice and welcoming! Late check in was very possible, easy, and understanding. The only compliant would be that at night there was a bar below our window that sounded light a Fraternity party until 2 AM. I used ear plugs since I am a light sleeper and that was Ok! Nothing the owners could do to prevent that so no blame to them!
