Our room was a junior suite and very lovely. Easy to walk to everywhere even dragging luggage from the train station. The staff were incredibly accommodating and so friendly, Breakfast was unique and absolutely delicious!

Very bad experience. The place was extremely noisy with no soundproofing at all. No air conditioning in the rooms. Both rooms were right next to the kitchen and breakfast area — impossible to sleep in the morning. Rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. Only good thing was the location.

The property is on a main walking avenue where car traffic is restricted. A wonderful area close to the center of Florence, and access to great dining shopping and OF COURSE, MAGNIFICENT ART FROM THE RENAISSANCE.

We spent four delightful nights at Corte Calzaiuoli and would highly recommend it. The room was beautifully appointed with plenty of space and a dramatic en-suite. Although looking over the busy Via Calzaiuoli the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was delicious with juices and eggs to order and a wide range of sweet and savoury items. Location was superb with all the major sites on the doorstep and easy access to the airport team. We felt looked after for every hour of our stay.

It was a little confusing when we arrived because there is a hotel on the corner with a similar name and even though I showed the taxi driver the address, he dropped us at the hotel. Since this is more of a small B&B type place, there is not a big sign. So just make sure you end up at the right place.

We had a Junior Suite. It was a beautiful accommodation with high quality touches, including a very comfortable bed and pillows, very high quality sheets and linens, bathrobes, etc. The room was decorated in very good taste, and we really enjoyed having a living area to spread out in. The breakfast (which was included in our rate) was truly amazing and we were sorry that we could only make time for it once during our three-day stay. The service and surroundings for breakfast were exceptional. The only little problem we had during our stay was with the air conditioning malfunctioning our first evening. When Regina learned of it, she took care of the problem immediately. Regina and the staff were incredibly attentive and even offered to make us sandwiches for our early morning departure. This was a five star accommodation, made exquisite by the personalized service. I highly recommend it if you plan to visit Florence (and the location is unbeatable!)

The absolute perfect place! If you are looking don’t hesitate as you can not find a better place. Location, is perfect, staff is attentive and helpful, rooms, beds, shower and linens are fantastic. We had 7 of us in 3 rooms from 24-83 years old, as we brought our parents. You can walk everywhere and drop things back at the hotel with ease. This place is a gem. Easy for all. One of he most beautifully decorated hotels I have ever stayed in. Not your average hotel, beautiful decor, extremely clean and elegant as the name suggests. This hotel delights you in every way. ROOM: Our room was unbelievable!! I loved the way it was appointed finely down to the last detail - they thought of everything and skimped on nothing, by far surpassing my expectations for the price. The mini bar had creative and reasonably priced items for when we wanted a little more time in the room, and the sweets they left in the room each day were delicious! The AC was fantastic during the greater than average heat outside, and the bath tub was a blessing for our tired feet. I love the stunning shower feature as well as all of the hardware used throughout the rooms. Even the vent covers were customized! His and her sinks were a luxury, and the extra detail of the room coming with not just a hair dryer but also a straightener was amazing, because mine has issues with dual voltage - so thoughtful! The linens and towels were very new and nice and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Lovely all around!

A lovely room and a great location! The hotel helped us with parking for the car but drivning in Firenze is nothing I recommend. The bathroom had double showers and sinks, that was great. A bit hard to understand where the hotel was located, both because there is a hotel nearby with the same name and then because the hotel is in a building but only on some floors!

- 750 mL of water for 2 adults per day then 6EUR / bottle (of 750mL). It’s 35 degrees Celsius right now. There is no water fountain in the hotel. The staff suggested we get water outside of the hotel at 9pm.
- breakfast closes at 10.30. We came at 10 the first day, the staff told us: “we re sorry there isn’t much left, people came earlier”. We still got food but it was so weird and we had limited options.
- we arrived early (9am), the staff kindly offered to prepare our room (since the previous guests had already left) for early check-in and told us to come back before noon.
We got back at 11.15am and adjusted our plans thinking we could take a shower and rest a bit in the room. The room wasn’t ready until 12.30. It took forever to get it ready. The intention was kind the execution and the coordination appalling. We wasted our time in the breakfast room waiting…
Honestly if you just want something convenient it works. It is way below par for anything else at this price range.
