The location was absolutely perfect in the heart of Firenze but a street or two from all of the hustle and bustle so a really nice respite from the crowds. There is nothing that we haven't liked about this hotel! The location is exceptional, a few minutes from the Uffizi Gallery, Accademia, and numerous major Piazzas and Basilicas. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. They also delighted in encouraging my basic Italian. Our stay was absolutely exceptional. Although our arrival was a bit confusing due to Google Maps taking us in circles, we eventually parked nearby and walked to the hotel. The front desk was incredibly helpful, especially since we arrived after the arranged parking closed at 11:30 PM,they made sure we were settled comfortably in our room.

We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of champagne and delicious macrons. The room itself was stunning, spacious, with a large walk-in closet, a luxurious bathroom with both a bath and a shower, and breathtaking views. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep.

The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay. They personally helped me bring the car to the front of the hotel and allowed it to remain parked there overnight. Breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety and high-quality offerings. The team also provided wonderful recommendations for local attractions, held our luggage after checkout, and even accommodated a late checkout.

This was truly a fantastic stay,worth every penny. We will absolutely be back without question.

The best part was the incredible view of the Duomo right from my room—it was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning made the trip even more special.

The most perfect location within easy walking distance to everything you would want to see in central Florence. The room we had was 303, an executive suite with city view. We were 3 and our 18yr old had the sofa bed in the living room. The view from the two rooms was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the decor lovely. Breakfast was included as a continental - but was over and above what we expected - good selection of hot and cold foods, amazing coffee.
All staff were highly professional and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Lovely hotel

This hotel was charming and beautiful. It was in a great location. Walkable to many sites. This hotel was maintained and very clean. Our room was a spacious room with a living area and a bedroom. There was a malfunction lock on our bathroom door that caused me to get locked in the bathroom for nearly an hour. My husband had already fallen asleep when I took a shower and could not unlock the door. I locked it to try to keep it from opening. My husband did wake up after I knocked loud enough and he went to get assistance from the hotel. A staff member had to use a screwdriver to turn the lock mechanism from the hallway side, which unlocked the bathroom door. That 3rd floor bathroom door lock should be replaced. I had my phone charging in another room, it was a very cold night, a fire hazard, and no way to get help if I was alone. There was the police gathered in front of the hotel plaza downstairs that I could see from the bathroom window that I was considering to yell for help if I could not get out.

The best thing about the San Firenze is the Staff. Really friendly and helpful - lovely people. The location is excellent, very central for all the main tourist destinations. There are so many restaurants, you can't really go wrong for good Italian food. Our room was excellent, with a very comfortable queen size bed, good air con, really good shower - a peaceful environment in the heart of the city. Breakfast was cozy with good choice of food and nice and relaxed. We would certainly stay again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Spoke English clearly and was able to assist with reservations, directions and towns/attractions to see. Breakfast was a perfect mix of both Italian and American Style. Area was safe and vibrant and centrally located by all the main sights.

I highly recommend staying here during your visit to Florence! The staff was absolutely the very best in assisting with all our questions and needs! The room was lovely and had a great view. We walked to most tour meeting locations; when needed, the staff assisted with taxis and transport. The service to the room was excellent; breakfast was also very delicious! Can’t go wrong staying here!

Wonderful Stay in Firenze

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel in the center of Florence. The staff is very courteous and they go out of their way to meet your needs. We did a lot of walking and we appreciated the large size of our suite and the views from multiple room windows. The hotel is very close to major attractions and you can even walk to and from the train station as we did, although towing your luggage on cobblestones (as one does in Italy) does lose its luster after awhile. We found this hotel and Florence to be very romantic, would stay here again.

We stayed on the top floor and the room was spectacular! From the comfortable bed to the astonishing view from our upper patio to the wonderful service (especially Santiago) the hotel was perfect.
It is also ideally located to walk anywhere in old Florence within 15 minutes and restaurants everywhere.

Nice stay in a centralised location

Hotel is in an excellent location about 15 mins walking from train station and near to most attractions. Hotel is nice and staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, clean and spacious - wouldn’t say luxury but ideal if you want something centralised.
Only one criticism was my daughter has a peanut allergy so we asked for no peanuts in the room which there was on arrival even though mentioned on booking 😌
